We have established various criteria for the topological transitivity of families of continuous (holomorphic) functions. Furthermore, by leveraging the properties of expanding families of meromorphic functions, we offer an alternative proof of Montel's three point theorem.

The interplay of electrons with a chiral medium has a diverse impact across science and technology, influencing drug separation, chemical reactions, and electronic transport. In particular, such electronchirality interactions can significantly affect charge and spin transport in chiral conductors, ranging from bulk semiconductors down to individual molecules. Consequentially, these interactions are appealing for spintronic manipulations. However, an atomistic mapping of the different electron chirality interactions and their potential for spintronics has yet to be reached. Here, we find that single molecule junctions based on helicene molecules behave as a combined magnetic diode and spin valve device. This dual functionality is used to identify the coexistence of different electron chirality interactions at the atomic scale. Specifically, we find that the magnetic diode behavior arises from an interaction between the angular momentum of electrons in a chiral medium and magnetic fields, whereas the spin valve functionality stems from an interaction between the electron spin and a chiral medium. The coexistence of these two interactions in the same atomic scale system is then used to identify the distinct properties of each interaction. This work uncovers the different electron chirality interactions available at the atomic level. The found concurrent existence of such interactions can broaden the available methods for spintronics by combining their peculiar functionalities.

The exceptional properties of two-dimensional (2D) magnet materials present a novel approach to fabricate functional magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJ) by constructing full van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures with atomically sharp and clean interfaces. The exploration of vdW MTJ devices with high working temperature and adjustable functionalities holds great potential for advancing the application of 2D materials in magnetic sensing and data storage. Here, we report the observation of highly tunable room-temperature tunneling magnetoresistance through electronic means in a full vdW Fe3GaTe2/WSe2/Fe3GaTe2 MTJ. The spin valve effect of the MTJ can be detected even with the current below 1 nA, both at low and room temperatures, yielding a tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) of 340% at 2 K and 50% at 300 K, respectively. Importantly, the magnitude and sign of TMR can be modulated by a DC bias current, even at room temperature, a capability that was previously unrealized in full vdW MTJs. This tunable TMR arises from the contribution of energy-dependent localized spin states in the metallic ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 during tunnel transport when a finite electrical bias is applied. Our work offers a new perspective for designing and exploring room-temperature tunable spintronic devices based on vdW magnet heterostructures.

With IoT systems' increasing scale and complexity, maintenance of a large number of nodes using stationary devices is becoming increasingly difficult. Hence, mobile devices are being employed that can traverse through a set of target locations and provide the necessary services. In order to reduce energy consumption and time requirements, the devices are required to traverse following a Hamiltonian path. This problem can be formulated as a Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP), an NP-hard problem. Moreover, in emergency services, the devices must traverse in real-time, demanding speedy path planning from the TSP instance. Among the well-known optimization techniques for solving the TSP problem, Ant Colony Optimization has a good stronghold in providing good approximate solutions. Moreover, ACO not only provides near-optimal solutions for TSP instances but can also output optimal or near-optimal solutions for many other demanding hard optimization problems. However, to have a fast solution, the next node selection, which needs to consider all the neighbors for each selection, becomes a bottleneck in the path formation step. Moreover, classical computers are constrained to generate only pseudorandom numbers. Both these problems can be solved using quantum computing techniques, i.e., the next node can be selected with proper randomization, respecting the provided set of probabilities in just a single execution and single measurement of a quantum circuit. Simulation results of the proposed Hybrid Quantum Ant Colony Optimization algorithm on several TSP instances have shown promising results, thus expecting the proposed work to be important in implementing real-time path planning in quantum-enabled mobile devices.

The use of subword embedding has proved to be a major innovation in Neural Machine Translation (NMT). It helps NMT to learn better context vectors for Low Resource Languages (LRLs) so as to predict the target words by better modelling the morphologies of the two languages and also the morphosyntax transfer. Even so, their performance for translation in Indian language to Indian language scenario is still not as good as for resource-rich languages. One reason for this is the relative morphological richness of Indian languages, while another is that most of them fall into the extremely low resource or zero-shot categories. Since most major Indian languages use Indic or Brahmi origin scripts, the text written in them is highly phonetic in nature and phonetically similar in terms of abstract letters and their arrangements. We use these characteristics of Indian languages and their scripts to propose an approach based on common multilingual Latin-based encodings (WX notation) that take advantage of language similarity while addressing the morphological complexity issue in NMT. These multilingual Latin-based encodings in NMT, together with Byte Pair Embedding (BPE) allow us to better exploit their phonetic and orthographic as well as lexical similarities to improve the translation quality by projecting different but similar languages on the same orthographic-phonetic character space. We verify the proposed approach by demonstrating experiments on similar language pairs (Gujarati-Hindi, Marathi-Hindi, Nepali-Hindi, Maithili-Hindi, Punjabi-Hindi, and Urdu-Hindi) under low resource conditions. The proposed approach shows an improvement in a majority of cases, in one case as much as ~10 BLEU points compared to baseline techniques for similar language pairs. Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) offer a promising approach for Neural Machine Translation (NMT). However, feeding multiple morphologically languages into a single model during training reduces the NMT's performance. In GAN, similar to bilingual models, multilingual NMT only considers one reference translation for each sentence during model training. This single reference translation limits the GAN model from learning sufficient information about the source sentence representation. Thus, in this article, we propose Denoising Adversarial Auto-encoder-based Sentence Interpolation (DAASI) approach to perform sentence interpolation by learning the intermediate latent representation of the source and target sentences of multilingual language pairs. Apart from latent representation, we also use the Wasserstein-GAN approach for the multilingual NMT model by incorporating the model generated sentences of multiple languages for reward computation. This computed reward optimizes the performance of the GAN-based multilingual model in an effective manner. We demonstrate the experiments on low-resource language pairs and find that our approach outperforms the existing state-of-the-art approaches for multilingual NMT with a performance gain of up to 4 BLEU points. Moreover, we use our trained model on zero-shot language pairs under an unsupervised scenario and show the robustness of the proposed approach., Comment: 10 pages, 4 figures

One of the significant challenges of Machine Translation (MT) is the scarcity of large amounts of data, mainly parallel sentence aligned corpora. If the evaluation is as rigorous as resource-rich languages, both Neural Machine Translation (NMT) and Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) can produce good results with such large amounts of data. However, it is challenging to improve the quality of MT output for low resource languages, especially in NMT and SMT. In order to tackle the challenges faced by MT, we present a novel approach of using a scaled similarity score of sentences, especially for related languages based on a 5-gram KenLM language model with Kneser-ney smoothing technique for filtering in-domain data from out-of-domain corpora that boost the translation quality of MT. Furthermore, we employ other domain adaptation techniques such as multi-domain, fine-tuning and iterative back-translation approach to compare our novel approach on the Hindi-Nepali language pair for NMT and SMT. Our approach succeeds in increasing ~2 BLEU point on multi-domain approach, ~3 BLEU point on fine-tuning for NMT and ~2 BLEU point on iterative back-translation approach.

This article aims at finding sufficient conditions for a family of meromorphic functions to be normal by involving partial sharing of sets with differential polynomials. Let $\mathcal{F}\subset\mathcal{M}(D)$ and let $a, b$ and $c$ be three distinct complex numbers. If, there exist a holomorphic function $h$ on $D$ and a positive constant $\rho$ such that for each $f\in\mathcal{F},$ $f$ and $f^{'}$ partially share three pairs of functions $(a,h), \ (b, c_f)$ and $(c,d_f)$ on $D,$ where $c_f$ and $d_f$ are some values in some punctured disk $D^*_{\rho}(0),$ then $\mathcal{F}$ is normal in $D$. This is an improvement of Schwick's result[Arch. Math. (Basel), \textbf{59} (1992), 50-54].
