This explanatory study aimed to investigate the impact of emotional intelligence, social intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on employees' job satisfaction in a high-risk country. This cross-sectional study used a self-answered questionnaire that was distributed to the sampling elements. The target population was employees engaged in the public sector in Libya. The SPSS and Smart-PLS tools were used to generate descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings indicated that social intelligence was the strongest determinant of job satisfaction in a high-risk country. In addition, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence had a low but positive impact on job satisfaction. Based on the practical implications, human resource managers should place more emphasis on employees' social intelligence in a high-risk country. Human resource managers should incorporate social intelligence in recruitment and training programs. These interventions can result in higher job satisfaction and performance of employees. This study was also one of the first studies of its kind in a high-risk country that demonstrated the relative impact of social, emotional, and spiritual intelligence on employees' job satisfaction in a high-risk country. The aim of this paper was to study the barriers encountered by women in their career advancement in Yerevan, Armenia. The target population is female employees holding managerial and advanced positions in Yerevan, Armenia. The three barriers examined are the glass-ceiling effect, work-life conflict, and organizational culture. In this quantitative study, a survey method is used to collect numerical data from 102 respondents. The findings revealed that the glass-ceiling effect had a significant impact on women's career advancement in Armenia. However, the effect of work-life conflict and organizational culture deviated from the results of past studies. There are several practical implications of this study. Organizations ought to focus on the effect of glass-ceiling, which is still prevalent and take measures to overcome the biases against career growth. Employee turnover is costly for organizations due to the high cost of recruiting, training, and employee productivity. This study aimed to investigate the influence of flexible work arrangement, supervisor support, and employee engagement on female auditors' turnover intention in Jakarta. This study adopted a deductive approach, and primary data was collected through a survey method. The target population were female auditors in Jakarta. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed based on convenience sampling technique. The results obtained from the SPSS system showed that flexible work arrangement and employee engagement had a significant relationship with turnover intention. Flexible work arrangement had the most substantial Impact on turnover intention. However, supervisor support did not show a significant relationship with turnover intention. The finding of this study will be useful for human resource managers. This was one of the first studies investigating the combined effect of flexible work arrangement, supervisor support, and employee engagement on female auditors' turnover intention in Jakarta. This paper aims to investigate the relationship between learning needs and generation Y employees' intention to stay. This study used a cross-sectional survey to collect primary data. The target population was generation Y employees working in the banking sector in Malaysia. Data was collected from 470 respondents, where a total of 230 respondents were males and 240 were females. Results from this study revealed that learning needs have a positive effect on the intention to stay by generation Y employees in the banking sector. In addition, perceived organizational support (POS) mediated the relationship between POS and intention to stay. The results confirmed that an increase in the learning needs of generation Y employees would increase their intention to stay. The study revealed that greater attention must be given to learning needs by organizational leaders and policymakers. This study contributes to the literature in human resource practices pertaining to learning needs as a critical intervention by organizations to increase the intention to stay by generation Y employees. This study was based on three distinct areas of study, which are Supply Chain Management (SCM), Risk Management and Blockchain Technology. This study analyses and explorers the possibility of using Blockchain for Effective Risk Management in Supply Chain of today's company by doing a qualitative study. In this exploratory study, experts were identified in the field of analysis and they were interviewed and probed further for their opinions and better understanding the field of study. Accordingly, three research questions were identified to build a skeleton for the study to hang on and then further according to the scope each expert was interviewed separately. Finally, a thematic analysis in the guise of descriptive analysis was done, in which the overlaps of different experts were reviewed. The findings revealed that blockchain could be a suitable technology for effective risk management. However, not all companies are ready to adopt blockchain and there is a need to create awareness. All the respondents generally stated that blockchain brings transparency, traceability, and immutability, which reduces risk. Companies should firstly have a willingness to adopt and accept blockchain and sort out any issues. This study contributes to both theory and practice by interlocking risk management and supply chain and the subsequent involvement of blockchain to mitigate risk effectively. The aim of this research was to examine the factors that contribute towards the success of construction projects. More specifically, this study examined the influence of project quality, project cost, project planning, project scope, and communication towards the success of construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This was a quantitative study that used a survey method to collect data from a sample of 151 respondents. The findings revealed that quality management had the most substantial impact on the success of projects. All the predictors in this study, namely project quality, project cost, project planning, project scope, project communication, had almost the same level of impact on the success of projects. Therefore, project managers should understand that multiple factors contribute to the success of construction projects. Projects managers should formulate, implement, and monitor the five predictors that were included in this study. This study is the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi that added to existing knowledge. The purpose of this study was to explore the impact of the current minimum wage levels on the employees engaged in the garments manufacturing sector in Bangladesh. In addition, the study also explored the perceived impact of higher minimum wages in the future. This was a basic qualitative research that used semi-structured interviews to collect non-numerical data. The target population was female employees in the garments manufacturing sector in Dhaka. Purposive sampling was used, and data were obtained from five respondents. The rich qualitative data that was collected revealed that the current minimum wages are only meeting the employee's basic physiological needs. At current wages, they still struggle to meet their obligations. All the respondents indicated that they are currently not motivated. However, they agree that higher wages will increase their job satisfaction and motivate them. It is suggested that employers should focus on the longer term and improve the skills of the current low skilled and low paid employees. This study is the first of its kind that explored the impact of minimum wages on employees in the garments manufacturing sector in Bangladesh. Retention of employees has gained the attention of organisations due to the impact of human resources on organisation success and competitive advantage. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of employee engagement, work-life balance, and career growth on the retention of employees in the financial sector in Djibouti. In this quantitative study, a survey method has been used to collect data from 100 respondents. A self-administered questionnaire with closed-ended questions was distributed based on convenience sampling. Multiple regression analysis has been used to examine the impact of the independent variables on retention. This research revealed that employee engagement and career development had a positive and significant relationship with employee retention. Employee engagement had the strongest impact on employee retention, while the impact of career development was much smaller. However, the results revealed that work-life balance had an insignificant relationship with employee retention. This may be due to other more significant factors. These results will provide a better understanding of human resource professionals with additional insights into the impact of employee engagement and career development on retention practices. The results of this study indicate that employee engagement is considered as a central factor for employee retention. Also, Human Resource managers should put the effort into retention policies relating to the career development of employees. The number of internet users in Malaysia is growing, and millennials are becoming the strongest in buying power. This research aimed was to investigate the influence of e-trust, eloyalty, and e-satisfaction on online buying behaviour among millennials. Despite the growth of e-commerce and the high engagement of millennials in technology, there is a shortage of empirical research covering the determinants of online buying behaviour among millennials in Malaysia. This quantitative study collected primary data through a self-completed questionnaire that was sent through a survey method to millennials online shoppers in Malaysia. The target population was millennials engaged in online shopping. The research results revealed that e-loyalty and e-satisfaction are determinants of online buying behaviour among millennials. Surprisingly, this study found that e-trust was not a significant determinant of online buying behaviour. There are several practical implications of this study on marketeers and web-retailers. This research will provide a better understanding to enable the web-retailers and marketers to develop their strategies to improve the online shopping experience of millennials. This study examined the effect of mindfulness on employee engagement, perceived stress and wellbeing. Based on non-probability sampling, data was gathered from 200 respondents engaged in the services sector in Malaysia. In this quantitative study, numerical data was collected using a survey method. The results of this study revealed that mindfulness practices had the highest impact on the work engagement of employees. The results also showed a strong but inverse relationship between mindfulness and perceived stress. The results further showed that mindfulness had moderate relations with employee wellbeing. The results of this study highlighted the relevance of mindfulness practices on employee engagement, perceived stress, and wellbeing in organisations. Organisations can support and implement mindfulness practices to help employees to combat stress and improve their engagement and wellbeing.
