Digital transformation has become a topic of interest since public institutions digitalize their processes to improve efficiency, while citizens wish to solve their issues through online platforms. Even if this topic is a priority, the Digital Economy and Society Index reveals that digital public services from UE are under 30% development and implementation. This paper presents the current research made on digital public services and the perspective of Romanian citizens on the adoption of these platforms. The authors conduct bibliometric research to highlight the current progress and concerns. Furthermore, a quantitative analysis is made to determine the perception of Romanian citizens on digital public services and the factors that influence their decision to use them instead of traditional methods. According to the bibliometric analysis, 23 countries showed a raised interest for digital public services after 2020, which was a crucial moment that pushed digitalization among public institutions. Although Romanian citizens are aware of the benefits brought by digital public services, they encounter issues in terms of lack of information and technical support, knowledge, data security, and the complexity of these platforms. This research investigates the trends of dropout rates in technical universities in Romania, focusing on identifying the factors influencing the decision to discontinue studies. By analyzing data regarding dropout rates based on the fundamental field of study and geographic location, the study provides a comprehensive perspective on this phenomenon. Focusing on undergraduate students, particularly in technical felds, and examining their pass rates and the evolution of the number of graduates, the research reveals significant trends. The results indicate considerable variations in dropout rates and suggest that factors such as limited financial resources and lack of academic support may play an essential role in student's decision to drop out. A detailed analysis of these aspects contributes to a deeper understanding of the school dropout phenomenon and to identifying possible solutions for reducing it in technical universities in Romania. The article examines the risks associated with the quality assurance process in higher education, focusing on various aspects that can affect the effectiveness, integrity and evolution of this process. Through the detailed analysis of the listed risks, from chaotic changes in legislation to the lack of specialized human resources and the decrease in the quality of external evaluation reports, the article explores how these aspects can influence the quality of university education and the strategic decisions of higher education institutions. Methods by which universities can manage and minimize these risks are also presented, emphasizing the need to implement proactive risk management strategies and strengthen institutional capacity to respond to the changing challenges of the educational environment. The article highlights the importance of addressing risks and opportunities in the quality assurance process, with a particular focus on the digitization of quality assurance processes as an opportunity for continuous improvement. In addition, it identifies ten risks relevant to the quality assurance process in a university, classifying them according to their consequences and evaluating them by the risk index method, for better evaluation using the risk matrix. The article emphasizes the fact that, by systematically approaching risks and opportunities and promoting the exchange of good practices between universities, it is possible to contribute to strengthening the quality of university education throughout the country, effectively responding to the ever-changing requirements of education and contributing to the development of society. In recent years, artificial intelligence has started to play an important role in digital marketing. Companies are increasingly using this technology to personalize content, improve the performance of marketing campaigns and user experience. According to a Google report published in 2021, Romania is one of the leading countries in Central and Eastern Europe in terms of significant growth in digital advertising expenditure. As a result, the current research aims to assess the importance and impact of AI usage in Romanian companies that activate in digital marketing. To conduct this study, an online survey was developed consisting of 11 questions to establish the utilization of AI in digital marketing and the perception of employees in companies towards this technology. The sample group was selected from a contact list of digital marketing firms, social media, and professional groups. Out of the total of 30 responses collected, valid data was analyzed to identify emerging trends and patterns in the use of AI in digital marketing. The survey findings indicate that AI is perceived as a valuable tool for enhancing user experience and increasing the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns. Digital marketing represents a new perspective and conception of the orientation, organization and development of the economic activity. Currently, companies focus on promoting in the online environment, to easily reach the customer and meet their requirements. The link between the two main components of the market, production and consumption or supply and demand, marketing directs the production activity to meet the needs of consumers while ensuring the necessary information and positive relationships that the company must have with its environment. With the development of technology and the phenomenon of digitalization, companies have begun to use IT solutions to suit their needs and competences, so that they can improve their organizational performance. One of the most used solutions by the firms for optimization, efficiency, dynamic adaptation and their integration with the technological trends is represented by Business Process Management solutions. Through this paper, it is desired to analyse the most used BPM tools used by the companies providing industrial services in Romania. In this regard, an exploratory study was carried out that presents the most important characteristics of the most popular BPM solutions from Romania. These solutions are compared according to a set of criteria, among which: operating system, main features, access mode, training ways, technical support, or integration with other systems. Permanent adaptation of an IT company in the field of databases to the diversified demand of the market shows management and organizational flexibility. To ensure a high standard of quality of the information hosted, database maintenance is a difficult task. This can only be achieved through flexible working procedures appropriate for each project.
