COVID-19 pandemic , *MENTAL health , *SOCIAL distancing - Abstract
This cross-sectional study aimed to analyze the association of religiosity with behaviors and perceptions in the context of social distancing measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as mental health outcomes, in a university community in Central-West Brazil. A sample of 1,796 subjects responded to an online form with socio-demographic questions and the DASS-21 and PWBS scales. Religion was associated with the frequency of interactions, perceptions of the duration of the social distancing measures, changes in emotional state and history of psychological illness. The prevalence of symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress was lower among people with religion and their scores in psychological well-being were higher. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Academic satisfaction has been studied from different perspectives that considerate distinct ways of measurement. However, the plurality of evaluated facets prevents a more parsimonious assessment of the general students’ academic satisfaction. In the article, we aimed to provide psychometric evidence of the validity and reliability for the AMSS in Brazil in two studies (N = 893). In Study 1, an exploratory factor analysis and item parameters (Item Response Theory) support the one-factor solution and the suitability of the six items. Moreover, evidence for factorial invariance across gender and convergent validity with the PANAS and with the SWLS was also presented in Study 2. In conclusion, the present paper provides evidence of the adequacy of the AMSS to evaluate global satisfaction with the academics course in Brazil.

ITEM response theory , *EXPLORATORY factor analysis , *CONFIRMATORY factor analysis , *FACTOR analysis , *ELECTRONIC games - Abstract
Despite the growing engagement in electronic games globally and the need to measure behavior in this context, there are few instruments for this purpose. The present study aimed to develop and validate the Game Behavior Scale-Electronic (GBS-E) in Brazil. In Study 1 (N=409), exploratory factor analysis supported the adequacy of a two-factor solution (individual and collective behavior). In Study 2 (N=373), we used confirmatory factor analysis, item response theory (to evaluate the discrimination and difficulty levels), and graphical factor analysis to test the above version of the scale and propose a short form of the GBS-E. The results suggest that both forms (full form, 31 items and short form, 10 items) of the GBS-E demonstrate psychometric evidence (factorial validity and internal consistency) for the adequacy of the measure to evaluate individual and collective behavior in electronic games. - Abstract
In the literature, perfectionism has been related to the impostor phenomenon However, there is scant research that analyze jointly this relationship. This study aimed to examine the potential mediating role of self-esteem in the relationship between dimensions of perfectionism (adaptive and maladaptive) and the impostor phenomenon. Participants were 380 undergraduate students, with a mean age of 24 years (SD = 5.69, 18-55 years), mostly females (63%). They answered the Almost Perfect Scale-Revised, Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale, the Self-Esteem Scale, and demographic questions. Correlation and regression analysis were performed, with the results indicated that people with higher levels of impostorism had less self-esteem and more maladaptive perfectionism. On the other side, self-esteem correlated positively with adaptive perfectionism and negatively with the maladaptive one. Through two-path analysis, it was identified that self-esteem partially mediated the relationship between perfectionism (maladaptive and adaptive) and impostor feelings, being greater the effect in the case of maladaptive perfectionism. We concluded that self-esteem is an important variable for understanding the relationship between impostorism and perfectionism, reinforcing that people with more self-esteem and less maladaptive perfectionists usually experience less the impostor phenomenon. The present article aimed at describing the elaboration of a measurement of attitudes towards potential targets of bullying, gathering evidence of its factorial validity and internal consistency. Two studies were performed with 800 secondary school students whose mean age was 15 years old, who answered the Attitudes Scale towards Potential Targets of Bullying (ASTPB) and some demographic questions. In Study 1 (n = 230) the discriminant power of the scale items was verified, and after performing an exploratory factor analysis two components were identified (appearance and gender issues and social exposure), with Cronbach’s alpha (α) of 0.81 and 0.70, respectively. In Study 2 (n = 570) a confirmatory factor analysis was performed (Maximum Likelihood), confirming the two-factor structure of the scale (αfactor I= 0.80 and αfactor II = 0.65; CR = 0.80 and 0.64, respectively). Moreover, evidence was also gathered of factorial invariance of this measure in groups of women and men. In conclusion this is a parsimonious measurement with evidences of validity and reliability, suggesting its adequacy for use when the goal is to evaluate attitudes towards potential targets of bullying.

- Abstract
The objective of the study is to identify to what extent the values of fathers/mothers and children are correlated, taking into account the type of transmission (direct or indirect) and its predictive potential. Participants were 204 pairs of parents and children. Most of the children were female (54.7%), and their average age was 11 (de=1.01). In the case of the parents, the majority were mothers (69.6%), and their average age was 38 (de =7.82). The fathers/mothers answered the Basic Values Survey corresponding to their age group and socio-demographic aspects. Results show that children's values are more heavily influenced by the values they perceive in their fathers/mothers, than by the values the fathers/mothers give priority to and wish to convey to their children, according to significant indicators in the six valuation sub-functions. The study concludes that, through the socialization process, children apprehend the values transmitted by their fathers/mothers by observing their conduct. Therefore, we emphasize that parents' behavior is the best way to educate children. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between human values and meaning of money for children. Participants were 1.445 children, with a mean age of 11 years (sd = 1.09; range 9-14 years), mostly male (51%), and were from north (n = 585) and northeast (n = 860) of Brazil. They answered the Meaning of Money for Children Scale (MMCS), the children version of Basic Values Survey (BVS-C) and demographic questions. Results pointed differences related to gender and region where children live, as well as correlation between happiness factor and achievement values(r = 0.28); loneliness factor and altruism were correlated with suprapersonal values (r = 0.13 and 0.26, respectively); and exclusion presented correlation with normative values (r = -0.08). In conclusion. follows that human values of children, gender and regional context influence the meaning of money., Este estudo teve por objetivo verificar a relação entre os valores humanos e o significado do dinheiro para crianças. In the past few years, the relationship between environmental issues and vulnerabilityhas enjoyed much attention from scientific studies. However, the comprehension of this relation isn't a unanimous one. The aim of this research is to identify the differentconceptions about the vulnerability-environment interrelationships and to analyze itsconverging theoretical categories in Brazilian scientific works. For these goals, a systematic review of scientific papers indexed on Capes' "Portaldos Periódicos" was conducted, with no database restrictions. The text data wasanalyzed with the help of software Iramuteq. The conceptions and categoriesconverge into one interrelation of three semantic unities: environment, social and risk, considered under the interactionist and organicist approaches. It has been suggestedthat the multidisciplinary dialog about the subject should be expanded, also that thereis a need for the use of terminologies that can be employed in different fields of knowledge. It is worthwhile to overcome the interactionist and organicist approachesin order to understand the vulnerability of the interrelationshipsbetween people and environment under the transactional perspective.
