Este trabalho consiste em um estudo sobre a existência de práticas racistas em nossa sociedade, a relação desta existência com o sentimento de culpa e o desencadeamento de psicopatologias. Através de leituras de Freud em relação à primitividade da sociedade, Foucault sobre as relações de poder, e DaMatta sobre a identidade brasileira, e recortes de vivências e experiências, pretende-se mostrar o quanto que a culpa é um dos principais sentimentos que permeiam as relações sociais e institucionais que perpetuam o racismo. E que ela pode torna-se a base para o desenvolvimento de diferentes psicopatologias. This paper presents a study on the existence of racist practices in our society, the existence of this relationship with the guilt and the triggering of psychopathology. Through readings of Freud in relation to the primitiveness of society, Foucault, on power relations, and DaMatta, on the Brazilian identity, and clippings of experiences and learning, we intend to show how the guilt is one of the main feelings that permeate the social and institutional relations that perpetuate racism. And it can become the basis for the development of different psychopathologies.
