Since there is a possibility of incorporating recycled aggregates (RA) as a complement to primary aggregates (PA) in concrete production, taking advantage of construction and demolition waste, there are some questions on the durability of concrete with recycled aggregates (CRA) that need to be answered. The durability of concrete with primary aggregates only (CPA) is conditioned, among other factors, by its degradation due to alkali-silica reactions (ASR). Since the first cases of ASR in CPA were identified, this expansive reaction has been a research theme resulting in the development of prevention and mitigation methodologies and in the comprehension of the chemical reactions involved. The present paper proposes to describe the current development of a research program on ASR in CRA based on an experimental campaign involving the production of CRA with different replacement ratios of coarse PA with coarse concrete RA, the use of different cement classes, and variations on the concrete curing conditions and on the reactivity of the mixes. Estuda-se movimento de superfícies e apresenta-se uma definição bem motivada de derivada-deslocamento. Inicialmente definem-se superfícies singulares num corpo único escrevendo-se as condições de compatibilidade obtidas de forma simples e intrínseca. Depois estende-se o estudo para misturas e faz-se duas aplicações para o caso de ondas de aceleração em misturas binárias de constituintes inertes em temperatura comum: cálculo das velocidades local de propagação para uma mistura de um sólido rígido e um fluido não viscoso e uma mistura de um sólido elástico e um fluido não viscoso. Study singular surfaces and waves in mixtures. Surface motion is studied and a well motivated definition of displacement derivative is presented. First, singular surfaces for a single body are defined and the compatibility conditions are obtained in a way that is direct and intrinsec. After, the study is extended for mixtures and two applications are worked for aceleration waves in binary mixtures of inert constituents with common temperature: computation of the local velocities of propagation for a mixture of a rigid solid and a non viscous fluid and a mixture of an elastic solid and a non viscous fluid.
