Revolution made various advances in various fields, including agriculture. Agricultural technology is very influential in supporting the increase in agricultural production. Inspection of rice seeds is an important process in plant nurseries because it will have an impact on the amount of rice production. The majority of inspection processes are currently carried out conventionally, namely by expert inspectors who manually screen rice seed samples to identify species and quality of rice seeds. The conventional rice seed inspection process has several obstacles, namely the role of humans in carrying out inspections is still very large and it requires quite a lot of time in determining the results of rice seed inspections. The use of technology is expected to increase productivity in agricultural production, speed, and accuracy in the rice seed inspection process. Intelligence Technology. Artificial provides an alternative to the inspection process automatically, accurately and quickly. We present a design study of technology related to seed identification systems using Machine Learning and Machine Vision methods to classify the quality of rice seed varieties. This technology is designed to identify superior and non-superior seeds based on digital image data training. So that the inspection process is helped because the machine can help identify the characteristics of superior seeds and are not based on digital image data processing.

Ramie (Boehmeria nivea) is believed to be one of the strongest natural fibers, but it still remains behind synthetic materials in terms of tensile strength. In this study, ramie materials were prepared to evaluate the modification crosslinking effect of natural fiber. The aim is to optimize various concentrations of citric acid (CA) crosslinking by adding Sodium hypophosphite (NaPO2H2), which is activated at different temperatures, to obtain the highest tensile mechanical strength. This crosslinking effect has been confirmed by FTIR to show the esterification process in the molecular structure of cellulose. The changes in the character of the fiber surface were analyzed by SEM. The tensile strength increased from 62.33 MPa for 0% CA to 124–172.86 MPa for decorticated fiber with a CA concentration of 0.75–1.875% (w/w). A significant increase in tensile strength was observed more than 19 times when CA/SHP 1% was treated at an activation temperature of 110 °C with a superior tensile strength of 1290.63. The fiber crosslinked with CA/SHP should be recommended for application of Natural Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite (NFRPC), which has the potential to use in functional textile and industrial sector automotive or construction.

The vehicle's anti-theft system is a module used to protect motor vehicles from theft by using three layers of security. The first layer uses a registered fingerprint for user authentication that can enable the machine on. The second one uses a GPS tracker to recognize where the position of the vehicle. The third one of security uses a remote engine cut-off system to shut down the machine remotely using the Android app. The system consists of two separate modules that are connected using a mobile data network. The first module is attached to the motorcycle body consists of fingerprints for biometric verification, GPS tracker for vehicle tracking and a microcontroller that controls the entire onboard system, including turning on and off the machine remotely. The second module is an application on the Android system used to detect where the location of the vehicle and applications that can be used to shut down the machine remotely. The method used in this research is the waterfall, it consists of systems and software design, module creation, module testing, module integration, system testing, operation and repair. The results shows this system is trusted to secure the motor vehicle by using a fingerprint as user authentication and GPS Tracker in which accurately detect the location of the motor vehicle, and then the system can shut down the motor power from a distance so that it can discover the theft of the vehicle. The conclusions: 1) The motorized vehicle safety system that is created to ease the owner of motor vehicle to control (On/Off) the vehicle remotely; 2) Si Kemot tool has been created to provide and increase the sense of security for vehicle owners because it can provide information on the position of the coordinates and speed of the vehicle; 3) the system can be controlled simply by using Android-based gadget that is very simple and ease of operation.

The Internet of Things (IoT) takes internet advancement to the next level, making devices connected to each other with internet communication network technology and making new services part of the development of legacy services such as conventional measurement systems. Gas measuring instrument infrastructure consists data collection, distribution analysis and gas consumption. The development of digital technology in gas measuring instruments is needed to help the monitoring system run effectively and efficiently. In this paper, the Smart Gas Meter device is designed to use LoRa RFM95 hardware with a Class C type communication system to transmit the Uplink and Downlink connected to Antares. The LoRa Smart Gas Meter is designed to retrieve gas meter data, battery voltage data, read status and control the solenoid valve sent to the Antares Platform. Data from LoRa hardware will be managed and monitored in the Antares database. Antares is an IoT Platform that connects various electronic devices, sensors and applications in one system in a cloud network. So that each device is connected to each other and exchanges data in a unified IoT network.

Kulim (Scorodocarpus borneensis Becc.) is one of Indonesian wood species with high economic value. Kulim wood is widely used for house construction, bridges and shipbuilding, while its fruit is used for cooking for its garlicy fragrance. Unfortunately, this species is currently rare in the wild due to habitat disturbance. Re-planting efforts require good quality seeds which can be collected from designated seed sources. The aim of this study was to identify the potential of Kulim stand in the arboretum of PT. Arara Abadi, Riau which covers 26.2 ha. Data collected from the site include tree height, diameter, geographic position as well as stand conditions. Total of 152 individual trees (121 trees, 23 poles, 5 saplings and 2 seedlings) were found in the area of study. The area is accessible, relatively safe from interference and well managed. The quality of the stands is quite good with no significant attack from pests or diseases. Fruits, seedlings and saplings were also found in the forest floor. The stand is therefore appropriate to be designated as Identified Seed Stand of Kulim based on the criteria of regulation concerning implementation of forest seeds. This stand can also be reserved as an insitu conservation area of Kulim.

One potential application of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology is the implementation of the temperature and humidity monitoring system on paddy drying machine. The advantage of the WSN in a dryer is the number of sensors can be increased without increasing the number of cable installation on the machine. This paper presents the design and analysis of the WSN performances for real-time temperature and humidity monitoring system on grain dryer machine. There are two evaluations that be conducted, i.e. the analysis of Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) and evaluation of the power consumption of the WSN nodes. All the evaluations were conducted using the 2 mW XBee modules as WSN nodes in a star topology configuration. The evaluation results indicate that the signal range of the WSN will decline against the distance with or without metal obstacle. At the same RSSI value, the presence of the metal obstacle will significantly reduce the signal range (about 40 meters). For testing battery lifetime, increasing the value of the transmission interval linearly will raise the lifetime of the battery. But, increasing the interval transmission will decrease the quality of monitoring process. Our future work is evaluating the overall performances of the monitoring system.

Due to the lack of use of ICT in pesantren, then not all ICT components can be utilized.This community service partner is Pesantren Yasin Kudus, who wants to apply ICT to support learning for students(called santri), by providing smooth and healthy Internet access at affordable cost. The problem faced is Internet accessthat only depends on one Internet Service Provider (ISP), so if the connection on the ISP is failed then Internet accessbecomes disturbed. The solution offered is the use of two ISP connections as an Internet access network, by applying loadbalancing technology using Per Connection Classifier (PCC) method so that loading of traffic on both ISPs can bebalanced. With this program, partners can utilize Internet access from both ISPs optimally

Technological developments in the field of fiber optic telecommunications with the media of the backbone network is faster in comparison with other technologies. In the process, the telecommunications industry use the metro ethernet configuration with Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) as the backbone network. This study aims to answer the question of how much the effect of adding the MPLS network protocol on OSPF network. So from this research can be known the value of the efficiency of the addition MPLS network protocol on OSPF network based on network performance using a software simulator GNS3 as its backbone through a step-test. From the test results concluded that based on the delay by the load, MPLS makes network performance more efficient by 67.04%, based on the packet loss and link failure conditions, MPLS makes network performance more efficient by 1.1%, but based on the no-load delay, OSPF has more efficient network performance by 41.96%, and based on the transfer rate, OSPF has a more efficient network performance by 5.2%, to delay normal conditions both have a performance with an average value of 0% packet loss. Focusing on the most active volcano Merapi, the role of ICT is crucial for improving the security and safety of the surrounding population. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) which has the capability of monitoring remote and rural areas could be a solution to the early detection of local volcanic activity. In this study, the raised topic is how to make the appropriate prototype WSN technology, sensors and integration models. The proposed system is expected to provide early detection of volcanology development solutions for the security and safety of people around Mount Merapi. In the early stages of research, the design is focused on the temperature and gas monitoring. The system is designed to address the challenges related to the location of the sensor where there is no electricity. In addition, to be more accurate, the sensing should be done at some point sources of gas blowouts.

Post-harvest problems faced by farmers are drying grain. Traditional drying method, low-cost (dried) or use the dryer does not provide a perfect drying results. This is due to the two methods are not able to regulate the temperature, moisture content and humidity levels of the air to the right. As a result of the rice produced has a low quality, easily broken and destroyed during grinding. On the other hand, the existing grain dryer technology is still costly. These things make farmers reluctant to use the existing dryer. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) have the ability to regulate temperature, moisture content and humidity levels of the air to the right. WSN utilization in grain dryers can provide solutions to improve rice quality and efficiency of the drying process. To improve energy efficiency, husk charcoal briquettes used as fuel grain dryers. Therefore, in this study with a grain dryer technology made husk charcoal briquettes as an energy source based Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) to improve the quality of the rice, so in the end product technology is acceptable to the community and is able to be mass produced. Supervised learning is used in smart system of grain dryer technology to learn grain characteristics.

Learning affordance is very important for autonomous robots to know what the necessary actions should be performed to complete a given task with its abilities. However, itpsilas difficult to identify and apply affordances in practice for robots. In order for a robot to get benefits from this concept, this paper proposes ontology approach based affordance concept for ubiquitous robots. The goal of this affordance-based ontology effort is to develop and begin to populate a neutral knowledge representation capturing relevant information about robots capabilities and what the environment afford to assist human life in ubiquitous robots environment. We propose a new method to dasiateachpsila robot learn objects and context affordances using ontology approach for semantic robots in ubiquitous robots space.

In this paper, connecting physical world and events schedule in the smart environment and ubiquitous robots are proposed to implement symbiotic robotic systems. Symbiotic robotic systems consist of humans, robots, and smart environment that cooperate symbiotically to perform a given task. An embedded element to develop smart environment called UFAM (Ubiquitous Functions Activation Module) is introduced. Physical hyperlink is also implemented for object recognition and localization based on the RFID system. We use Gdata as a syndication format, to manage events on user calendar and communicate with ubiquitous robots. Finally, an example of symbiotic robotic application for weather forecast is described.
