In this article, analysis, designing, and generation of soliton waves are performed using nonlinear transmission lines (NLTLs). As a result of performing mathematical analysis processes, circuit parameters and values are determined. A particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to determine the parameters and their values. The parameters obtained from the optimization are used to design a nonlinear transmission line. The circuit designed over the determined parameters is simulated with the LTspice program. Then, experiments of the created circuit design are carried out. The simulation data and the experimental implementation data are compared for the nonlinear transmission line circuit. Simulation and experiment results are found to be compatible. Bu makalede, doğrusal olmayan iletim hatları kullanılarak, soliton dalgasının analizi, tasarım modellemesi, ve üretimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Matematiksel analiz işlemlerinin gerçekleştirilmesi sonucu devre parametreleri ve değerleri belirlenmiştir. Parametreleri ve değerlerini belirlemek için parçacık sürü optimizasyonu (PSO) algoritması kullanılmıştır. Optimizasyon sonucunda elde edilen parametreler kullanılarak doğrusal olmayan iletim hattı tasarlanmıştır. Belirlenen parametreler üzerinden tasarlanan devre, LTspice programı ile simüle edilmiştir. Daha sonra, oluşturulan devre tasarımının deneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Doğrusal olmayan iletim hattı devresinin; simulasyon verileri ile deneysel gerçekleme verileri karşılaştırılmıştır. Simulasyon verileri ve deneysel gerçekleme verilerinin uyumlu olduğu görülmüştür.

In this paper, the Microstrip-Substrate Integrated Waveguide (M-SIW) bandpass filter is designed, simulated, and fabricated based on the theoretical analysis. The Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) highpass filter and the microstrip lowpass filter are combined in a hybrid design to achieve the M-SIW bandpass filter in the X-band. This design is more comprehensible and easier to achieve a bandpass filter at a desired frequency. The SIW highpass filter and the microstrip lowpass filter are connected in series to achieve the bandpass filter. To the measured results of the fabricated M-SIW bandpass filter, the center frequency is 10.20 GHz and the bandwidth is 2.40 GHz. When the analytical and measurement results are compared, the frequency change in the cut-off frequency is 6.02 % and the frequency change in the bandwidth is 8.74 % It is generally seen that analytical, simulation, and measurement results are compatible with each other. The M-SIW bandpass filter can be broadly used in radar, Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), and satellite technologies. Emisyonları kısıtlayıcı yeni regülasyonlar neticesinde elektrikli araçlara olan talep gittikçe artmaktadır. Elektromanyetik uyumluluk (Electromagnetic Compatibility-EMC), yüksek gerilimli batarya ünitesi ve elektrikli sürüş sistemi bileşenlerinin konvansiyonel araç mimarisine dahil edilmesinden dolayı tasarım aşamasında değerlendirilmesi gereken en önemli konulardan biri haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada, elektrikli araçlarda sıklıkla karşılaşılan EMC problemlerinden biri olan elektronik ekipman koruyucu kutularındaki ekranlama problemi analiz edilmiştir. Açıklık ve kutu boyutları ile ekranlama etkinliğinin değişimi incelenmiştir. Farklı açıklık geometrilerinin, ekranlama etkinliği üzerindeki etkisi 0-2 GHz aralığında nümerik olarak elde edilmiştir. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) has become one of the most important issues to be evaluated during design phase cause of incorporating high voltage battery unit and electric driving system components into conventional vehicle architecture. In this study, shielding problem of electronic equipment protection box, which is one of the most frequently observed EMC problems in electric vehicle is analyzed. The variation of shielding effeciency by changing aperture and enclosure dimensions is investigated. The effect of different aperture geometries on shielding effectiveness is obtained in the range of 0-2 GHz numerically.

Bu çalışmada, otomotivde EMC standartlarından ve elektrikli araçlarda sıklıkla karşılaşılan EMC problemlerinden bahsedilmiştir.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) has become much more important especially over the last decade due to incorporating advanced driver assistance and electric propulsion systems into conventional vehicle architecture. Electromagnetic shielding is a conductive barrier used for protecting electronic circuits against external electromagnetic interference (EMI). Shielding effectiveness (SE) is a measure of shielding performance against an interfering electromagnetic source. Design limitations inside electric vehicles (EV) forces to investigate on increasing SE without changing the shielding enclosure dimensions. Graphene is widely used in many studies due to its good conductivity and strong structure. In this study, a numerical model for a shielding enclosure in which inner surfaces are coated with graphene sheets, is designed. The effect of different aperture shapes on SE is analyzed according to coating different inner surfaces of the enclosure with graphene sheets., Elektromanyetik uyumluluk (EMC), özellikle son on yılda gelişmiş sürücü destek ve elektrikli tahrik sistemlerinin geleneksel araç mimarisine dahil edilmesiyle çok daha önemli hale gelmiştir. Elektromanyetik ekranlama, elektronik devreleri dış elektromanyetik girişimden (EMI) korumak için kullanılan iletken bir bariyerdir. Ekranlama etkinliği (SE), girişim yapan bir elektromanyetik kaynağa karşı ekranlama performansının ölçüsüdür. Elektrikli araçların (EV) içindeki tasarım sınırlamaları, ekranlama kutusu boyutlarını değiştirmeden SE'yi artırmayı araştırmaya zorlamaktadır. Grafen, iyi iletkenliği ve güçlü yapısı nedeniyle birçok çalışmada yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, iç yüzeyleri grafen plakalarla kaplanmış bir ekranlama kutusu için nümerik model tasarlanmıştır. Farklı açıklık şekillerinin SE üzerindeki etkisi, kutunun farklı iç yüzeylerinin grafen plakalarla kaplanması durumlarına göre analiz edilmiştir.

2020 IEEE Ukrainian Microwave Week, UkrMW 2020 -- 21 September 2020 through 25 September 2020 -- -- 164964 In this study, the Microstrip-Substrate Integrated Waveguide (M-SIW) wideband band-stop filter is designed and fabricated based on low cost and simplicity. The part of Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) high-pass filter and the part of microstip low-pass filter are combined in a modular concept design to achieve the M-SIW band-stop filter. This design is very clear and easy to achieve a band-stop filter at the desired frequency. The experimental measurement of manufactured M-SIW wideband band-stop filter was found to be fC = 4.74 GHz and BW = 5.15 GHz. Based on CST simulation; the frequency change in fC according to measurement is 5.8% and also the frequency change in BW according to measurement is 7.07%. Bu çalışmada açıklığa sahip elektronik cihaz kutularının elektriksel ekranlama etkinliğini hesaplamak için zaman domeni vektör sonlu elemanlar metodu (TDFEM) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar literatür ile karşılaştırılmış ve uyumlu olduğu görülmüştür. Açıklıklardan ışıyan alanlar, koruyucunun kalitesini düşürdüğü için istenmemektedir. Açıklık üzerine mükemmel iletken teller ve parça iletkenler yerleştirilerek ekranlama etkinliğindeki değişim incelenmiştir. 500-900 MHz arasında yaklaşık 20 dB’ lik bir ekranlama artışı sağlanmıştır.

During microwave heating of materials, the efficiency of microwave heating depends on the materials’ dielectric property, shapes and sizes of the material, materials’ position inside the applicator, operating frequency, level of input power, specific heat capacity, number and position of waveguide over the applicator, size and geometry of applicator etc. This paper examines the effects of dielectric properties of the clay sample placed in the multimode applicator on the performance of microwave heating. The simulated and experimentally obtained results show that the variation in clay samples dielectric value creates variation in system efficiency inside the microwave applicator. Also placing another dielectric slab over the material to be heated affects the electric field distribution and system efficiency. Placing KESTAMID dielectric slab over the material improved the heating efficiency by 22%. COMSOL Multiphysics software was used to simulate and estimate the electric field distribution over the surface of the clay sample and inside the multimode applicator for different dielectric property clay samples. The simulated and experimentally obtained results are almost matched.

It can be used in satellite communication, 5G and radar technology. SIW waveguide conditions and bandpass filter-specific input loss method are used to obtain design parameters. The CST Microwave Studio simulation program was used to simulate the SIW filter with two symmetrical windows. After that the SIW filter was fabricated using the Roger 4003C. It is seen that the obtained simulation results and the measurement values are compatible with each other. © 2018 IEEE.

The development of wireless sensor networks, such as researchers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) requires the ability to analyze the road scene just like a human does. Road scene analysis is an essential, complex, and challenging task and it consists of: road detection (which includes the localization of the road, the determination of the relative position between vehicle and road, and the analysis of the vehicle's heading direction) and obstacle detection (which is mainly based on localizing possible obstacles on the vehicle's path). The detection of the road borders, the estimation of the road geometry, and the localization of the vehicle are essential tasks in this context since they are required for the lateral and longitudinal control of the vehicle. Within this field, on-board vision has been widely used since it has many advantages (higher resolution, low power consumption, low cost, easy aesthetic integration, and nonintrusive nature) over other active sensors such as RADAR or LIDAR. At first glance the problem of detecting the road geometry from visual information seems simple and early works in this field were quickly rewarded with promising results. However, the large variety of scenarios and the high rates of success demanded by the industry have kept the lane detection research work alive. In this article a comprehensive review of vision-based road detection systems vision is presented.

This paper presents a hybrid formulation that combines MoM and edge-based vector FEM to the find the Shielding Effectiveness of an enclosure with an aperture. While the FEM is used to solve EM fields inside the enclosure, the MoM is used to solve the surface integrals related to the aperture field components, using equivalent surface currents. The hybrid method is applied to the enclosure with and without load. Results are compared with the analytical results and good agreement is reported.

In this paper to obtain of electromagnetic field distribution inside loaded enclosure with aperture, we present hybrid formulation which combines method of moments (MoM) and vector finite element method (FEM). While FEM is used for solving electromagnetic fields inside of the enclosure, MoM is used for solving the surface integrals related with the aperture field components using equivalent surface currents. To obtain efficiency of the proposed method, first applied to empty enclosure and the results are validated by comparing with literature. Then the method applied to loaded enclosure Shielding effectiveness, stored electrical energy and dissipated power in load are examined.

In this paper, usage of a dielectric slab on the top and bottom sides, on the top side, and on the bottom side of a clay sample was presented as a means of improving heating efficiency in multimode applicator. In order to accomplish the optimization procedure, we used four different dielectric slab types having different thickness values. The simulated results show that by using additional dielectric slab it is possible to increase the electric field intensity inside the applicator and obtain higher power absorption rates within the sample and high-efficiency designs.
