Aiming at the problem that fuzzy neural network (FNN) is difficult to be adjusted automatically its structure when there is no the threshold of loss function, as well as the problem that the neuron number of the regularization layer of FNN is adjusted by self-organizing algorithm when the structure of FNN is not stable yet, a structural design strategy of self-organizing recursive FNN based on the Boston matrix (SORFNN-BOSTON) is proposed. Compared with other self-organizing algorithms, the method used in this paper does not need to set the threshold of loss function. In addition to the indicators representing the importance of neurons in most self-organizing algorithms, the change rate is used to represent the change of the parameters of the neural network. The change rate is used to determine when the relevant parameters are stable, which further improves the reliability of the neuron adjustment process. Through the simulation of predicting Mackey-Glass time sequence, the final number of neurons in the hidden layer and the testing error are 6 and 0.110 respectively. Comparisons with other self-organizing algorithms show that the testing error decreased by 76.6% at most and 13.3% at least, which proves the practicability of the method.

The knowledge of solubility of a salt in either the pure solvent or blend solvent is of great importance for studying or operating the crystallization, extraction, and distillation processes. The solubility of sodium acetate (NaAc) in four pure solvents (water, ethanol, acetic acid and 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol) and four binary solvents (water-ethanol, water-acetic acid, acetic acid-ethanol, and acetic acid-ethyl acetate) were measured by using the laser dynamic method at temperatures from 288.15 K to 338.15 K at 0.1 MPa. The results showed that the solubility of NaAc was influenced by either the solution temperature or solvent composition. The aqueous sodium acetate solution possessed the maximal solubility under the experimental conditions. The solubility of NaAc in 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol was found to be decreased with the increase of the solution temperature. While, the solubilities of NaAc in other seven solvents increased as the solution temperature was elevated. Besides, five correlation models, including the van't Hoff model, modified Apelblat model, Yaws model, λh model, and modified Apelblat-Jouyban-Acree model were used to correlate the solubility data of those sodium acetate solutions with acceptable deviation, respectively. Finally, van't Hoff analysis method was selected to analyze the change law of thermodynamic properties of a salt during the dissolution process.

Ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin have always been seriously restricted by its unreasonable economic structure and low level of innovation. A two-dimensional indicator system was constructed to evaluate the security of the innovative ecosystem in the Yellow River Basin and identify its driving factors. The R clustering, the method of coefficient of variation, and the entropy method were used to screen and empower the indicators, and then the Lotka–Volterra symbiotic coupling model was introduced innovatively to calculate the security index and analyze its spatio-temporal evolution. Finally, the fixed-effect regression model and Granger causality test were used to identify the driving factors. It was found that (1) The security of the innovative ecosystem in the Yellow River Basin from 2012 to 2021 showed an overall upward tendency, but it was still at a low level, and the innovative landscape community lagged behind the innovative biome for a long time; (2) The security status of the innovative ecosystem showed a differential pattern of “high in the east and south, and lower in the west and north”; (3) Innovation transformation ability, innovation consumption capacity, education, and natural ecological environment are crucial driving factors for improving the security level of an innovative ecosystem.

Two novel coumarin derivatives and the corresponding europium complexes were prepared using a simple procedure. The pH response of the ligand and the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties of the target europium complex were studied. The ligand had an intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) effect and was linearly and sharply responsive under acidic conditions. The goal europium complexes exhibited excellent AIE performance when subjected to increasing concentrations of target europium complex or proportion of poor solvent. The effect of substituents on fluorescence strength or thermogravimetric and electrochemical properties was further investigated. The target complexes displayed the typical fluorescence of europium. The fluorescence amplitude of the target europium complexes was enhanced by the addition of electron-donating groups to ligands. Thermogravimetric research findings indicated that the target complexes possessed extreme thermal stability. Electrochemistry discovery findings indicated that the highest occupied molecular orbit energy level of EuL1 was greater than EuL2 , but the lowest unoccupied molecular orbit energy level was smaller than that of EuL2 . These complexes could be applied in medicinal chemistry, substance chemistry, and fluorescence labelling areas.

Herein, we introduce antimicrobial activity to cellulose fibers (CFs) by presenting a double “click chemistry” strategy. CFs chemically modified with azide functions are designed as a versatile ligation platform for Cu(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne click reaction. Glycidyl propargyl ether (GPE) with epoxy groups was grafted onto azidated cellulose fibers (CFs-N3) via azide-alkyne click reaction yielding epoxy cellulose fibers (CFs-Epoxy). Then poly(hexamethylene guanidine) (PHMG) can be chemically grafted onto the CFs to form antibacterial materials (CFs-PHMG) through amino groups initiated epoxy ring-opening click reaction. The results revealed that PHMG was anchored successfully onto CFs via chemical bond formation without significant damage to the morphology of CFs and mechanical performance of cellulose paper. In the antibacterial tests, the functionalized CFs show superior antibacterial activity against E. coli and S. aureus. Importantly, CFs-PHMG paper sheet presented long-term antibacterial effectiveness, remaining ~ 99% antibacterial activity after two months storage in the air environment. This antibacterial CFs-PHMG has good potential application in bioactive paper packaging and medical paper products.

The aim of this work was to investigate the possible synergistic interaction between monopalmitate (MP) and carnauba wax (CW) on the properties and crystallization behavior of oleogels. The soybean oleogels were prepared from MP and CW, and were characterized by oil binding capacity (OBC), solid fat content (SFC) and isothermal crystallization. The results showed that the OBC of the prepared oleogels changed in a W-shape trend with the increase of CW content. The mass ratio of MP and CW greatly affected the SFC. At 40, 50 and 60 °C, the SFC of these oleogels showed a slight deep eutectic effect with the increase of CW content in the gelators. The mass ratio of MP to CW also apparently affected the peak temperature and enthalpy during the crystallization and melting process analyzed by differential scanning calorimeter. The hysteresis occurring in the study indicated that crystallization temperature was lower than melting temperature and crystallization enthalpy was higher than melting enthalpy. The isothermal crystallization of these oleogels was characterized by Avrami equation, the Avrami exponent (n) and the apparent crystallization constant (k) of these oleogels were affected by the mass ratio of MP to CW as well as the crystallization temperature. Great difference in the values of n and k between the MP (or CW) oleogel and these oleogels suggested that the crystal growth mechanism had changed. However, the factor k for the oleogel formed of MP and CW with a mass ratio of 2:8 was about 1, unaffected by the crystallization temperature. From these results, we could deduce that the synergistic interaction between MP and CW did happen and affect the properties and crystallization behavior of these oleogels.

In the current study, we introduce “click chemistry” as a powerful tool to tailor cyclodextrin–cellulose combination product followed by the inclusion of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (CipHCl) as antibacterial agent. Initially, beta-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and cellulose fibers (CFs) were modified so as to be mono-6-propargylamino-6-deoxy-β-CD (Pro-β-CD) and azidated cellulose fibers (CFs-N3), respectively. Afterward, the “click reaction” was carried out between Pro-β-CD and CFs-N3 to fabricate a covalent grafting of β-CD onto CFs resulting in click product (CFs-N3@Pro-β-CD). The drug-delivery kinetics of the loaded CipHCl was performed by immersing samples into an aqueous solution, and the amount of adsorbed and released CipHCl was measured, as a function of time, by UV spectroscopy. Compared to original CFs, the load quantity of CipHCl into the click product was greatly increased, the release time of CipHCl from CFs-N3@Pro-β-CD was prolonged, and considerably higher antibacterial activity against E. coli and S. aureus was observed. The click product exhibited excellent antibacterial activity and sustained antibacterial efficacy up to 12 and 10 days against S. aureus and E. coli. The results showed that β-CD has been successfully grafted onto CFs via covalent bonds, while maintaining the intrinsic properties and the integrity of the fibers. Compared with the control paper sheet, the mechanical properties of the paper are well preserved.

In this paper, specimens were first pre-stretched to different pre-strain coefficients (0, 0.4 and 0.8) under quasi-static tensile for AA6061-O aluminum alloy. Then, the specimens with different pre-strain coefficients were stretched by a high-speed tensile machine (HTM) at different strain rates (200 s− 1, 400 s− 1 and 600 s− 1). Digital image correlation (DIC) technique was employed to measure the strains. The results showed that the yield ratio increased significantly with the pre-strain increased. As the pre-strain coefficient increased, high-speed tensile strain limitation decreased and the total tensile strain limitation increased. A modified Johnson-Cook (JC) model considering pre-strain coefficient was proposed. Numerical simulations were performed using LS-DYNA with the modified JC model. The strain field of the specimen taken by the camera agreed well with the simulated strain field.

The potassium acetate solutions are new potential working fluids for the closed-type reverse electrodialysis(RED) power generation system driven by thermal energy. In this paper, the solubilities of potassium acetate in water, 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol, ethanol and their binary mixtures were measured by using the laser dynamic method over the temperature range of 288.15 to 333.15 K under atmospheric pressure. The results indicate that the solubility of potassium acetate solution is influenced by both the solvent components and solution temperature evidently. Besides, it is found that the measured solubility data of the potassium acetate-water-2,2,2-trifluoroethanol solutions as per the laser dynamic method are slightly larger than that of the data obtained as per the static method. Finally, five correlation models, including the Van’t Hoff model, Modified Apelblat model, Yaws model, λh model and Modified Apelblat-Jouyban-Acree model, were used to correlate the measured solubility data of those potassium acetate solutions, with the relative standard deviations within 0.23% to 1.58%.

Provincial economic development in the VUCA era (V: volatility; U: uncertainty; C: complexity; A: ambiguity) is facing great challenges. Comprehensively measuring the provincial ecological niche and giving enhancement strategies are significant for the implementation of the Yellow River Strategy. By constructing the S–R–F (Status–Relationship–Function) provincial ecological niche measurement framework using the SEM model (the structural equation modeling), this paper calculated the provincial ecological niche of the Yellow River Basin from 2005 to 2019 using an ecological niche width model, an ecological niche overlap model and an ecological niche suitability model and gave improvement strategies through spatial positioning. Results: (1) The ecological niche breadth in the Yellow River Basin is uneven, showing a spatial pattern of “low in the upper reaches, high in the lower reaches”. The ecological niche overlap changes from synchronous competition to hierarchical differentiation. The ecological niche suitability shows a transformation of “overall homogeneity but local variation”. (2) Qinghai and Gansu belong to subspace I of ecological niches; the strategies of ecological niche specialization, potential ecological niche and ecological niche synergy are appropriate. Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Ningxia belong to subspace III; the strategies of ecological niche specialization, ecological niche separation, potential ecological niche and ecological niche synergy are suitable. Shandong belongs to subspace VI; the strategies of ecological niche generalization and ecological niche synergy are fitting. Henan, Sichuan and Shaanxi belong to subspace VIII; it is advisable to choose ecological niche generalization, ecological niche separation and ecological niche synergy strategies. The possible marginal contributions of this paper are: (1) applying the idea of fitting optimization to guide the construction of a provincial ecological status indicator system, applying the validation analysis in the SEM model to test the suitability and validity of a provincial ecological status indicator system and improving the scientificity and objectivity of the indicator system construction. (2) Correlating the measurement model with the connotation (state–relationship–function) of the provincial ecological niche, the perspective of ecological niche research and improving the theoretical support for the construction of a multidimensional measurement model. (3) Spatial positioning of provincial ecological niches to improve the relevance and effectiveness of strategies.

Factors such as mechanical deformation and temperature changes lead to phase mismatch in optical parametric amplification systems, impacting energy stability. A phase compensation method via the linear electro-optic effect can overcome this limitation. Phase mismatch compensation characteristics were simulated via the linear electro-optic effect in 70%-deuterated DKDP and 95%-deuterated DKDP. This method was applied to OPA systems to verify its feasibility. The results show that the temperature acceptance bandwidth of 70%-deuterated DKDP and 95%-deuterated DKDP can be ~1.75 and ~2 times larger, respectively, than that of the OPA without compensation. Moreover, the angle acceptance bandwidth of 70%-deuterated DKDP and 95%-deuterated DKDP can be ~2 times larger than that of the OPA without compensation. The abovementioned method can facilitate the compensation of phase mismatch within a range and can be widely used in OPA and optical parametric chirped pulse amplification systems to improve laser stability.

We propose a method for auto-optimized compensation of pixel alignment and overall curvature in digital optical phase conjugation system named AOC-DOPC system. The theory of the AOC-DOPC system is described, and the optimized compensation capability of AOC-DOPC system is verified experimentally in the situation of system instability, overall curvature and pixel match misalignment. With the proposed system, the compensation effect is improved, the size and shape of the focus are more similar to the target pattern. Compared with the DOPC, the PIB curve showed a decrease from 0.162 to 0.007 of area ratio of 50% energy with AOC-DOPC compensation, which is about 16 times relative to the DOPC compensation. Besides, the correlation coefficient (R) increases from 0.0465 to 0.7743, which shows 3.4 times of improvement of compensation effect.

Target recognition is one of the most important technologies in the field of underwater acoustic detection, and has been widely used in the military. Target radiation noise and environmental noise are random signals, environmental noise has obvious time-varying characteristics, so a specific method is difficult to achieve multi-class similar target classification and recognition. For the targets with similar auditory characteristics, take first preliminary classification and then accurate recognition as technical ideas, a feature extraction method based on continuous spectrum in Gammatone frequency bands is proposed. Initial target classification is realized through Gammatone feature extraction, and accurate identification is realized through extracting Continuous spectrum feature in Gammatone subband. By using the real recording data of surface target, verifying the proposed method. Results show that the proposed method can effectively classify and recognize two kinds of objects with similar auditory characteristics.

A spectrum series learning-based model is presented for mode-locked fiber laser state searching and switching. The mode-locked operation search policy is obtained by our proposed algorithm that combines deep reinforcement learning and long short-term memory networks. Numerical simulations show that the dynamic features of the laser cavity can be obtained from spectrum series. Compared with the traditional evolutionary search algorithm that only uses the current state, this model greatly improves the efficiency of the mode-locked search. The switch of the mode-locked state is realized by a predictive neural network that controls the pump power. In the experiments, the proposed algorithm uses an average of only 690 ms to obtain a stable mode-locked state, which is one order of magnitude less than that of the traditional method. The maximum number of search steps in the algorithm is 47 in the 16°C–30°C temperature environment. The pump power prediction error is less than 2 mW, which ensures precise laser locking on multiple operating states. This proposed technique paves the way for a variety of optical systems that require fast and robust control.

Many anti-inflammatory therapies targeting neutrophils have been developed so far. A sialic acid (SA)–modified liposomal (SAL) formulation, based on the high expression of L-selectin in peripheral blood neutrophils (PBNs) and SA as its targeting ligand, has proved to be an effective neutrophil-mediated drug delivery system targeting rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of particle size of drug-carrying SALs transported and delivered by neutrophils on their anti-RA effect. Dexamethasone palmitate–loaded SALs (DP-SALs) of different particle sizes (300.2 ± 5.5 nm, 150.3 ± 4.3 nm, and 75.0 ± 3.9 nm) were prepared with DP as a model drug. Our study indicated that DP-SALs could efficiently target PBNs, with larger liposomes leading to higher drug accumulation in cells. However, a high intake of large DP-SALs by PBNs inhibited their migration ability and capacity to release the payload at the target site. In contrast, small DP-SALs (75.0 ± 3.9 nm) could maintain the drug delivery potential of PBNs, leading to their efficient accumulation at the inflammatory site, where PBNs would be excessively activated to form neutrophil extracellular traps along with efficient payload release (small DP-SALs) and finally to induce excellent anti-RA effect.

A series of naphthalene-based Schiff base derivatives (L1-3) were successfully prepared. The Schiff base derivatives exhibit typical aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties with various fluorescence emissions and pH responses in an alkaline environment. Through density functional theory (DFT) calculations, it is found that the electronegativity of the L1-3 changes with the change of the substituents on the 2-aminopyridine, which results in the L1-3 exhibiting multiple-color emission from green to orange. In addition, all naphthalene-based Schiff base derivatives exhibit green fluorescence emission under alkaline conditions. This is due to the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) mechanism of the L1-3 which makes the L1-3 have a pH-response under alkaline conditions (pH at 7.0–12.0). The derivatives L1-3 exhibit unique optical properties, which indicated their potential applications in the field of optics and pH sensing materials.

Gelatin is a natural biological macromolecule derived from the collagen in the connective tissue of the skin, bone and other tissues. It has been widely used in medicine, food and industrial production and other fields for easy molding, excellent compatibility and biodegradability. However, physical and chemical disadvantages impede its further application, seriously. Therefore, modification of the gelatin films becomes more and more important. In this study, the gelatin/nanocrystalline cellulose (NCC) composite films were prepared by casting method with 4% glycerol as plasticizer. The effect of NCC on the properties of the composite films was investigated by the characterization of its morphology and mechanical, thermal, and optical properties and water adsorption. The results showed that mechanical, thermal stability and water absorption properties of the gelatin/NCC composite film were obviously improved. The composite films showed the highest tensile strength (13.56 ± 0.25 MPa) when the mass concentration of NCC was 0.6%. Adding NCC to gelatin benefited the thermal stability of composite films. The gelatin/NCC composite film of 0.4% NCC had the highest melting transition temperature (138.9 °C). The composite films exhibited the lower water absorption (271.1%) when mass concentration of NCC was 1.0%. Thus, these results indicated that NCC could affect the properties of gelatin-based composite films, and showed it has potential for application in food packing.

Salinity gradient energy exists between the concentrated and diluted electrolyte solutions, which can be converted to the electromotive force of a reverse electrodialysis (RED) cell. The waste solution is regenerable to restore the initial concentrations by absorbing thermal energy. The energy conversion efficiency of such a heat−to−power system is strongly influenced by the working solutions. The potassium acetate−methanol−water solution is proposed and assessed as the new candidate working fluid for the RED power system in this study firstly. The electrical conductivity of this ternary solution is fully measured and found to be influenced by the solution concentration, temperature and solvent composition. The maximum measured electrical conductivity value is 144.0 mS cm−1 at 6.0 mol kg−1 at 313.15 K. Furtherly, the electrical convertibility of potassium acetate−methanol−water is tested under the varying conditions freshly. The RED cell performances are influenced by the concentrations of the feeding dilute solution (recommendation: 0.02 mol kg−1), concentrated solution (optimum: 6.0 mol kg−1), solution flow rate (approximately 1.5 cm s−1), solution temperature (20 K higher than the environmental temperature), solvent composition (aqueous methanol solvent is preferred), and width of solution compartment (100 μm is suitable). Potassium acetate−methanol−water is a competitive new working fluid with the comprehensive advantages in thermodynamic and electrochemical properties.

A series of novel flavonoid derivatives and their corresponding Eu(III) and Tb(III) complexes were successfully prepared. The effect of different solvents, ligand concentrations and substituents on the luminescence intensity of ligands was studied. The results indicated that optimal luminescence concentration of the ligand was 500 μM in ethanol. The luminescence intensity of the target complexes was studied by comparing different substituents on the ligands. Among these ligands, the ligand H4 containing -Cl possessed the strongest luminescence intensity. Besides, the luminescence quantum yield of the target complexes indicated that the luminescence performance of the Tb(III) complexes was better than that of the Eu(III) complexes.

With the rapid development of Internet technology, the social network has become more and more complicated and diversified. Excavating the most influential users from social networks become more difficult and important. The information diffusion maximization algorithm can effectively solve the problem. First, in this paper we proposed a new optimal algorithm (NOA) on the information diffusion maximization problem by synthetically considering the theme feature and degree centrality. Second, we presented a new way of representing the user influence based on the user preference. In addition, in order to compare with other methods more extensively and deeply and verify the effectiveness and superiority of the algorithm, the traditional information diffusion models are extended to the topic-based linear threshold model (TLTM) and the topic-based independent cascade model (TICM) which can describe the information diffusion mechanism more accurately. Experimental results show that NOA algorithm proposed in this paper is 5000 times faster than the climbing greedy algorithm in the worst case and also faster than the CELF(Cost Effective Lazy Forward) algorithm. If the nodes selected through NOA algorithm are used as the initial spreading set, the results have a significant improvement than the climbing greedy algorithm in the diffusion range and the actual influence. And the results also show that the new algorithm is really efficient, accurate and stable.

Autonomous vehicles require a collision-free and comfortable motion trajectory at every time instant. It is a common method to generate a feasible path to the target state and append an optimization-based method for path postprocessing. In this paper a Hybrid A∗ based motion planning algorithm is presented for autonomous vehicles under unstructured circumstances. Firstly, the Hybrid A∗ algorithm is improved with a better heuristic function and a better search policy to realize a less-time consuming graph search in consideration of vehicle's motion model. Then, nonlinear optimization algorithm is applied to optimize the generated path further and realizes high quality of security and smoothness of the discrete trajectory. Finally, Catmull-Rom interpolation is combined to make waypoints continuous and easy-to-control. Simulation results concerning different tasks are described to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.

Introducing fire-retardant additives or building blocks into resins is a widely adopted method used for improving the fire retardancy of epoxy composites. However, the increase in viscosity and the presence of insoluble additives accompanied by resin modification remain challenges for resin transfer molding (RTM) processing. We developed a robust approach for fabricating self-extinguishing RTM composites using unmodified and flammable resins. To avoid the effects on resin fluidity and processing, we loaded the flame retardant into tackifiers instead of resins. We found that the halogen-free flame retardant, a microencapsulated red phosphorus (MRP) additive, was enriched on fabric surfaces, which endowed the composites with excellent fire retardancy. The composites showed a 79.2% increase in the limiting oxygen index, a 29.2% reduction in heat release during combustion, and could self-extinguish within two seconds after ignition. Almost no effect on the mechanical properties was observed. This approach is simple, inexpensive, and basically applicable to all resins for fabricating RTM composites. This approach adapts insoluble flame retardants to RTM processing. We envision that this approach could be extended to load other functions (radar absorbing, conductivity, etc.) into RTM composites, broadening the application of RTM processing in the field of advanced functional materials.

Ibrutinib (IBR), an irreversible Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor, is expected to be a potent therapeutic modality, given that BTK is overexpressed in tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and participates in promoting tumor progression, angiogenesis, and immunosuppression. However, rapid clearance in vivo and low tumor accumulation have rendered effective uptake of IBR by TAMs challenge. Herein, we designed and synthesized a sialic acid (SA)–stearic acid conjugate modified on the surface of nanocomplexes to encapsulate IBR (SA/IBR/EPG) for targeted immunotherapy. Amphiphilic egg phosphatidylglycerol (EPG) structure and strong IBR-EPG interactions render these nanocomplexes high IBR loading capacity, prolonged blood circulation, and optimal particle sizes (∼30 nm), which can effectively deliver IBR to the tumor, followed by subsequent internalization of IBR by TAMs through SA-mediated active targeting. In vitro and in vivo tests showed that the prepared SA/IBR/EPG nanocomplexes could preferentially accumulate in TAMs and exert potent antitumor activity. Immunofluorescence staining analysis further confirmed that SA/IBR/EPG remarkably inhibited angiogenesis and tumorigenic cytokines released by TAM and eventually suppressed tumor progression, without eliciting any unwanted effect. Thus, SA-decorated IBR nanocomplexes present a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy. However, rapid clearance in vivo and low tumor accumulation have rendered effective uptake of IBR by TAMs challenge. Herein, we designed and synthesized a sialic acid (SA)–stearic acid conjugate modified on the surface of nanocomplexes to encapsulate IBR (SA/IBR/EPG) for targeted delivery of IBR to TAMs. The developed SA/IBR/EPG nanocomplexes exhibited high efficiency in targeting TAMs and inhibiting BTK activation, consequently inhibiting Th2 tumorigenic cytokine release, reducing angiogenesis, and suppressing tumor growth. These results implied that the SA/IBR/EPG nanocomplex could be a promising strategy for TAM-targeting immunotherapy with minimal systemic side effects.

The organic ligands with good coordination ability to Eu(III) ion attracted great attention, but the preparation of multifunctional organic ligands with excellent performance and the potential application was still a challenge in the field of rare earth coordination. In this work, a series of Schiff-base ligands and their corresponding Eu(III) complexes were successfully prepared. The ligands L1−4 exhibited typical AIE properties with various fluorescence emissions and high fluorescence quantum yields in an aggregated state. The luminescence intensity and luminescence lifetime of Eu(III) complexes were investigated by comparing different substituents of ligands. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggested that the electronegativity of the ligands L1−4 changed with the change of the substituents on the salicylaldehyde, which led to the phenomenon that the ligands exhibited diverse fluorescence emission from green to orange (maximum emission wavelengths were 525 nm, 546 nm 569 nm and 582 nm, respectively). All target Eu(III) complexes exhibited red luminescence of Eu(III) ions, accompanied by outstanding thermal stability and long luminescence lifetime. The effect of various substituent groups on luminescence intensity and luminescence lifetime of complexes was ordered: EuL3(Phen)(NO3)3 > EuL2(Phen)(NO3)3 > EuL1(Phen)(NO3)3 > EuL4(Phen)(NO3)3. Based on the above results, all ligands and corresponding target Eu(III) complexes had good application prospects in the field of optical materials.

Due to excellent flexibility and hydrophilicity, cellulose fibers (CFs) have become one of the most potential substrate materials in flexible and wearable electronics. In previous work, we prepared cobalt oxyhydroxide with crystal defects modified polypyrrole (PPy)@CFs composites with good electrochemical performance. In this work, we redesigned the crystalline and nanoscale cobalt oxyhydroxide with zeolitic imidazolate frameworks-67 (ZIF-67) as precursor. The results showed that the PPy@ZIF-67 derived cobalt oxyhydroxide@CFs (PZCC) hybrid electrode materials possess far better capacitance of 696.65 F·g−1 than those of PPy@CFs (308.75 F·g−1) and previous PPy@cobalt oxyhydroxide@CFs (571.3 F·g−1) at a current density of 0.2 A·g−1. The PZCC delivers an excellent cyclic stability (capacitance retention of 92.56%). Moreover, the PZCC-supercapacitors (SCs) can provide an energy density of 45.51 mWh cm−3 at a power density of 174.67 mWh·cm−3, suggesting the potential application in energy storage area.
