According to the current situation of deep aging globally, how to provide low-cost and high-quality medical services has become a problem that the whole society needs to consider. To address these challenges, we propose an e-healthcare management system leveraging the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain technologies. Our system aims to provide comprehensive, reliable, and secure one-stop services for patients. Specifically, we introduce a blockchain-based searchable encryption scheme for decentralized storage and real-time updates of electronic health records (EHRs). This approach ensures secure and efficient data traceability across medical equipment, drug supply chains, patient health monitoring, and medical big data management. Efficient communication and regulation are crucial for advancing brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), with the steady-state visual-evoked potential (SSVEP) paradigm demonstrating high accuracy and information transfer rates. However, the conventional SSVEP paradigm encounters challenges related to visual occlusion and fatigue. In this study, we propose an improved SSVEP paradigm that addresses these issues by lowering the contrast of visual stimulation. The improved paradigms outperform the traditional paradigm in the experiments, significantly reducing the visual stimulation of the SSVEP paradigm. Furthermore, we apply this enhanced paradigm to a BCI navigation system, enabling two-dimensional navigation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) through a first-person perspective. Experimental results indicate the enhanced SSVEP-based BCI system's accuracy in performing navigation and search tasks. Our findings highlight the feasibility of the enhanced SSVEP paradigm in mitigating visual occlusion and fatigue issues, presenting a more intuitive and natural approach for BCIs to control external equipment. NEW & NOTEWORTHY: In this article, we proposed an improved steady-state visual-evoked potential (SSVEP) paradigm and constructed an SSVEP-based brain-computer interface (BCI) system to navigate the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in two-dimensional (2-D) physical space. We proposed a modified method for evaluating visual fatigue including subjective score and objective indices. Industry 5.0 is an emerging value-driven manufacturing model in which human–machine interface-oriented intelligent manufacturing is one of the core concepts. Based on the theoretical human–cyber–physical system (HCPS), a reference framework for human–machine collaborative additive manufacturing for Industry 5.0 is proposed. This framework establishes a three-level product–economy–ecology model and explains the basic concept of human–machine collaborative additive manufacturing by considering the intrinsic characteristics and functional evolution of additive manufacturing technology. Key enabling technologies for product development process design are discussed, including the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), digital twin (DT) technology, extended reality, and intelligent materials. Additionally, the typical applications of human–machine collaborative additive manufacturing in the product, economic, and ecological layers are discussed, including personalized product design, interactive manufacturing, human–machine interaction (HMI) technology for the process chain, collaborative design, distributed manufacturing, and energy conservation and emission reductions. By developing the theory of the HCPS, for the first time its core concepts, key technologies, and typical scenarios are systematically elaborated to promote the transformation of additive manufacturing towards the Industry 5.0 paradigm of human–machine collaboration and to better meet the personalized needs of users. Considering the low environmental cost and good social benefits of clean energy power generation, we propose the concept of environmental-friendly model. We also describe power expansion planning model in detail, that helps to incorporate a variety of power generating units, including solar-power, and hydropower, and which appropriately addressed the restrictions of the energy market environment. Taking into account the constraints of cascade hydropower and the uncertainty of solar power, multiple objectives of economic efficiency, load tracking coefficient, and accommodation degree of solar power are formulated. An optimal scheduling model for hybrid solar-hydro power generation system in demand side is established. This model is solved by using an improved genetic algorithm. In various seasons, weather conditions, and time intervals, simulation examples are used to identify the optimal output of the source side and the minimum load transfer volume, as well as the validity and correctness of the suggested method. By means of comparing and analyzing the reliability indices, the impact of solar-hydro power on distribution system is researched and the results show that interconnection of solar power with hydro power can play a certain role in the improvement of power system reliability.
