This study investigates the effects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) goods exports and environmental technology innovation (ETI) on mineral rents using a panel dataset of 23 OECD countries from 2000 to 2020. Employing a fixed-effects regression and several robustness checks (FGLS, PCSE, and DKSE), we find that ICT goods exports are positively associated with mineral rents, while ETI exerts a negative impact. Notably, the positive effect of ICT goods exports was more pronounced in countries with higher levels of ICT goods exports. Our findings underscore the complex interplay among technological advancements, environmental sustainability, and economic outcomes in resource-dependent economies, emphasizing the need for tailored policy interventions to navigate these multifaceted dynamics. The relationship between information and communication technology (ICT) and environmental pollution is widely recognized and complex. To better understand the environmental impact of ICT, we divide it into two facets: the supply side and the usage side. This study investigates the impact of ICT usage and ICT supply on sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions using random effect and spatial Durbin model in China Yangtze River Delta from 2011 to 2019. The findings reveal an inverted U-shape relationship between ICT usage and SO2 emission, while the supply of ICT has a significant negative impact on SO2 emissions. Furthermore, the spillover effect of ICT usage shows insignificant outcomes, but the supply of ICT has a significant and negative impact on SO2 emissions. Collectively, these findings provide fresh insights and empirical evidence into the effects of ICT usage and ICT supply on SO2 emissions, bearing significant policy implications for promoting ICT to attain sustainable development goals. This research assesses the impact of information communication technology (ICT) service exports on carbon (CO2) emissions and examines regulatory quality's moderating role. The study sample comprises OECD countries' data from 2001 to 2019. Random-effect generalized least-square regression, feasible generalized least square, and panel-corrected standard error models are used for the estimations. The results show that ICT service exports are negatively related to CO2 emissions, and the negative effect of ICT on CO2 emissions will be enhanced when regulatory quality is higher. OECD countries should give greater support to improve the innovation capabilities of ICT companies and implement more sound policies and regulations to achieve sustainable development goals and carbon neutrality. The novelty of disruptive innovation is often beyond our understanding, but the news media coverage can help us understand it better. News media coverage may have a different effect on the audience's legitimacy judgment. Positive news media coverage may get higher audience's legitimacy judgment and negative news media coverage may get lower audience's legitimacy judgment. Besides, different news sources may have a different effect on this process. Thus, from the perspective of news content analysis, what factors affect the audience's legitimacy judgment? Does news reputation adjust the audience's legitimacy judgment? Evidence from DiDi firm, on behalf of disruptive innovation in China, supports these questions and propositions. In line with institutional theory, we make three straight points. First, news coverage shows a significant positive relationship to the audience's legitimacy judgment, user-oriented values and society-oriented values. Second, operational-risk and ethical-risk news coverage show a significant negative relationship to the audience's legitimacy judgment. In the last few decades, rising prices of agricultural commodities have been an area of concern for most countries owing to high population growth, increased unemployment, and per capita food needs. The current study intends to examine the positive and negative shocks of agricultural product prices, credit disbursement, and the labor force's impact on the agricultural growth of Pakistan. The nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) method was applied using secondary data sources from 1970 to 2018. The results revealed that positive and negative price shocks contribute positively to agriculture growth; however, positive price shock has a more stimulating effect than negative prices. Furthermore, credit disbursement and labor force significantly positively impact agricultural value added in the short and long run. Finally, the study's findings have far-reaching consequences for policymakers dealing with Pakistan's asymmetric relationship between agricultural credit disbursement, commodity prices, and agricultural growth.
