Even before she came onto the national political screen, Sarah Palin, a former Governor of the State of Alaska and the former 2008 Republican Vice-Presidential nominee, was mentioned in The Washington Post Newspaper as a noteworthy politician. This commentary will attempt to discern why that was and still is the case, considering the fact she often ends actions soon after she starts them. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

During the course of this paper, an attempt will be made to document one fact only: The so-called glass ceiling has yet to be fully shattered. The paper will also attempt to give ideas, suggestions, viewpoints and techniques with the express purpose of helping women continue in their individual or group endeavors to change the world. Areas in special need of action are current workplace environments. Women should do all within their power to ultimately break whatever professional or personal glass ceilings they encounter, whether the ceilings are real or even imaginary. If women pursue their direction and leadership abilities, things could easily change.
