Abstract

Microorganisms can cause the cutting fluid to deteriorate and destroy the anti-rust properties of the cutting fluid，thereby resulting in the corrosion of workpieces and machine tools.Firstly，this article outlined the different invasion pathways of microorganisms in cutting fluids，analyzed the types of microorganisms in cutting fluids and the microbial concentrations at different stages，and summarized the changes in microbial strains.Secondly，the influence of microorganisms on the rust resistance of cutting fluid was summarized in detail from three aspects:the failure of effective components in cutting fluid，the decrease in environmental pH value and the corrosion of microbial biofilm.Finally，the current methods for controlling and inhibiting microorganisms in cutting fluids were compared and analyzed，and reference suggestions were proposed.

7. Quality analysis and health effects of green plum and Cordyceps militaris fermented wine

Abstract

A new type of green plum and Cordyceps militaris fermented wine was prepared, its physicochemical indexes, alcohol content, sensory score, total phenols, total flavonoids, amino acids, minerals, and volatile aroma components were detected and analyzed, and its antioxidant, hypolipidemic and hypoglycemic abilities in vitro, as well as its inhibitory effect on the proliferation of human hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG2) and colorectal carcinomas cells (HCT116) were evaluated. Results showed that the alcohol content of green plum and C. militaris fermented wine was 12.65%vol, the sensory score was 93.02 points, and the physicochemical and microbial indexes met the "green food fruit wine" standards. The wine was rich in 6 minerals (potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, iron) and 17 amino acids, and a total of 37 volatile components were detected. The scavenging rates on ABTS+ and DPPH free radicals were (96.58±1.19)% and (94.15±0.24)%, exhibited a strong antioxidant effect. The binding rate of green plum and C. militaris fermented wine freeze-dried powder solution to sodium taurocholate was (65.50±1.24)% and the inhibition rate of α-glucosidase was (83.52±0.23)%, indicating that it could effectively reduce blood lipids and blood glucose. The proliferation inhibition rates on the HepG2 and HCT116 cancer cells were (83.16±0.54)% and (75.94±2.18)%, showing a good inhibitory effect. In summary, the green plum and C. militaris fermented wine was a functional drink with rich nutrients and multiple health effects.

14. A motivational perspective on the educational arms race in China: self-determination in out-of-school educational training among Chinese students and their parents

Abstract

Chinese families suffer from an educational arms race, a significant aspect of which being their over-investment in out-of-school educational training (OET). Aimed at mitigating the arms race, educational authorities have implemented policies that outlawed OET. In the current research, we hypothesize that it is not involvement in OET per se, but the non-self-determined motivation underlying OET that explains the negative outcomes in the educational arms race. Further, we hypothesize that parents' non-self-determination for OET indirectly associates with children's non-self-determination for OET via a family-transmitted process mediated by autonomy-supportive vs. controlling parenting, and that parents' non-self-determination indirectly associates with child outcomes via the mediation of child non-self-determination. Multi-informant survey data collected from Chinese adolescents and their parents (paired N = 394) support these hypotheses. Our research also aims to examine how self-determination for OET associates with parent and child experiences of the educational arms race and corresponding educational policies. However, contrary to our expectation, we found no relationship between self-determination for OET and experiences of the educational arms race or support for governmental policy. Abstract

A graph is intrinsically projectively linked (IPL) if its every embedding in projective space contains a nonsplit link. Some minor-minimal IPL graphs have been found previously. We determine that no minor-minimal IPL graphs on 16 edges exists and identify new minor-minimal IPL graphs by applying $\Delta-Y$ exchanges to $K_{7}-2e$. We prove that for a nonouter-projective-planar graph $G$, $G+\bar{K}_{2}$ is IPL and describe the necessary and sufficient conditions on a projective planar graph $G$ such that $G+\bar{K}_{2}$ is IPL. Lastly, we deduce conditions for $f(G + \bar{K_{2}})$ to have no nonsplit link, where $G$ is projective planar, $\bar{K_{2}} = \{w_{0},w_{1}\}$, and $f(G + \bar{K_{2}})$ is the embedding onto $\mathbb{R}P^{3}$ with $f(G)$ in $z=0$, $w_{0}$ above $z=0$, and $w_{1}$ below $z=0$ such that every edge connecting ${w_{0},w_{1}}$ to $G$ avoids the boundary of the 3-ball, whose antipodal points are identified to obtain projective space.

Abstract

A graph $G$ is nonseparating projective planar if $G$ has a projective planar embedding without a nonsplit link. Nonseparating projective planar graphs are closed under taking minors and are a superclass of projective outerplanar graphs. We partially characterize the minor-minimal separating projective planar graphs by proving that given a minor-minimal nonouter-projective-planar graph $G$, either $G$ is minor-minimal separating projective planar or $G \dot\cup K_{1}$ is minor-minimal weakly separating projective planar, a necessary condition for $G$ to be separating projective planar. One way to generalize separating projective planar graphs is to consider type I 3-links consisting of two cycles and a pair of vertices. A graph is intrinsically projective planar type I 3-linked (IPPI3L) if its every projective planar embedding contains a nonsplit type I 3-link. We partially characterize minor-minimal IPPI3L graphs by classifying all minor-minimal IPPI3L graphs with three or more components, and finding many others with fewer components.
