The current study explores the (2+1)-dimensional Chaffee-Infante equation, which holds significant importance in theoretical physics renowned reaction-diffusion equation with widespread applications across multiple disciplines, for example, ion-acoustic waves in optical fibres, fluid dynamics, electromagnetic wave fields, high-energy physics, coastal engineering, fluid mechanics, plasma physics, and various other fields. Furthermore, the Chaffee-Infante equation serves as a model that elucidates the physical processes of mass transport and particle diffusion. We employ an innovative new extended direct algebraic method to enhance the accuracy of the derived exact travelling wave solutions. The obtained soliton solutions span a wide range of travelling waves like bright-bell shape, combined bright-dark, multiple bright-dark, bright, flat-kink, periodic, and singular. These solutions offer valuable insights into wave behaviour in nonlinear media and find applications in diverse fields such as optical fibres, fluid dynamics, electromagnetic wave fields, high-energy physics, coastal engineering, fluid mechanics, and plasma physics. Soliton solutions are visually present by manipulating parameters using Wolfram Mathematica software, graphical representations allow us to study solitary waves as parameters change. Observing the dynamics of the model, this study presents sensitivity in a nonlinear dynamical system. The applied mathematical approaches demonstrate its ability to identify reliable and efficient travelling wave solitary solutions for various nonlinear evolution equations.

Inrecent years, there has been a notable increase in utilising multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods in practical problem solving. The advancement of enhanced decision models with greater capabilities, coupled with technologies like geographic information systems (GIS) and artificial intelligence (AI), has fueled the application of MCDM techniques across various domains. To address the scarcity of irrigation water resources in Bortala, Northwest China, the selection of a dam site has been approached using a hybrid model integrating a multipolar Fuzzy set and a plithogenic Fuzzy hypersoft set along with a GIS. This study considered criteria such as a geological layer, slope, soil type, and land cover. Four potential and reasonably suitable dam locations were identified using a dam construction suitability map developed for Bortala. Ultimately, we showcased the benefits of the innovative method, emphasizing an open, transparent, and science-based approach to selecting optimal dam sites through local studies and group discussions. The results highlight the effectiveness of the hybrid approach involving a fuzzy hypersoft set and plithogenic multipolar fuzzy hypersoft set in addressing the challenges of dam site selection.

This article aims to study the time fractional coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation, which explains the interaction between modes in nonlinear optics and Bose-Einstein condensation. The proposed generalized projective Riccati equation method and modified auxiliary equation method extract a more efficient and broad range of soliton solutions. These include novel solutions like a combined dark-lump wave soliton, multiple dark-lump wave soliton, two dark-kink solitons, flat kink-lump wave, multiple U-shaped with lump wave, combined bright-dark with high amplitude lump wave, bright-dark with lump wave and kink dark-periodic solitons are derived. The travelling wave patterns of the model are graphically presented with suitable parameters in 3D, density, contour and 2D surfaces, enhancing understanding of parameter impact. The proposed model's dynamics were observed and presented as quasi-periodic chaotic, periodic systems and quasi-periodic. This analysis confirms the effectiveness and reliability of the method employed, demonstrating its applicability in discovering travelling wave solitons for a wide range of nonlinear evolution equations.

Herbal spices are an agricultural commodity, economically very important and beneficial in primary healthcare in the food and medicine sectors. Herbal spices are used as food flavoring agents as well as in phytotherapies throughout the world and have nutritive benefits. The food and medicine industries widely employ artificial or natural adulteration to retard the deterioration and utilization of these adulterants in food and medicine products has given rise to significant apprehension among consumers, primarily stemming from the potential health risks that they pose. Thus, their characterization for the purpose of identification, origin, and quality assurance is mandatory for safe human consumption. Here, we studied 22 samples of commonly traded herbal spices that belong to 20 different genera and 21 species comprising 14 families, investigated macroscopically or organoleptically as well as histologically under microscopic examination. In this study, we provide details on organoleptic features including appearance, taste, odor, color, shape, size, fractures, types of trichomes, and the presence of lenticels among the examined herbal spices and these features have great significance in the detection of both natural as well as artificial deterioration. In terms of microscopic characterization, each examined plant part comprising different anatomical characteristics has taxonomic importance and also provides useful information for authentication from natural adulterants. Furthermore, the studied taxa were also described with nutritive and therapeutic properties. For condiments, herbal beverages and medicinal purposes, different herbal parts such as leaves, floral buds, seeds, fruit, and accessory parts like mericarp, rhizome, bulbs, and bark were used and commercially traded. Similarly, in this study, the leaves of Cinnamomum tamala and Mentha spicata, the floral buds of Syzygium aromaticum, the seeds of Amomum subulatum, Brassica nigra, Punica granatum, Myristica fragrans, Phyllanthus emblica, and Elettaria cardamomum, the mericarp of Coriandrum sativum, and Cuminum cyminum were observed. As a result, we show the potential of herbal spices as a source of many valuable phytochemicals and essential nutrients for food, nutraceutical, and homoeopathic medicine.

The objective of this research is to investigate the nonlinear Landau–Ginzburg–Higgs equation, which characterizes nonlinear solitary waves exhibiting distant and feeble scattering interactions among tropical tropospheres and mid-latitudes. Additionally, the study will examine the interchange of mid-latitude Rossby waves and equatorial waves within this context. In this research article, we focus on obtaining exact traveling wave solutions for the Landau–Ginzburg–Higgs equation using a new extended direct algebraic technique. The obtained soliton solutions include various types such as combined and multiple bright-dark, periodic, bright, and multiple bright-periodic. We present these soliton solutions graphically by varying the involved parameters using the advanced software program Wolfram Mathematica. The graphical representations allow us to visualize the behavior of the wave velocity and wave number as the parameters change. Additionally, we conduct a chaotic analysis to examine the wave profiles of the newly designed dynamical framework. The results of this analysis demonstrate the reliability and efficiency of the proposed method, which can be applied to find closed-form traveling wave solitary solutions for a wide range of nonlinear evolution equations.

The study aims to explore the nonlinear Landau-Ginzburg-Higgs equation, which describes nonlinear waves with long-range and weak scattering interactions between tropical tropospheres and mid-latitude, as well as the exchange of mid-latitude Rossby and equatorial waves. We use the recently enhanced rising procedure to extract the important, applicable and further general solitary wave solutions to the formerly stated nonlinear wave model via the complex travelling wave transformation. Exact travelling wave solutions obtained include a singular wave, a periodic wave, bright, dark and kink-type wave peakon solutions using the generalized projective Riccati equation. The obtained findings are represented as trigonometric and hyperbolic functions. Graphical comparisons are provided for Landau-Ginzburg-Higgs equation model solutions, which are presented diagrammatically by adjusting the values of the embedded parameters in the Wolfram Mathematica program. The propagating behaviours of the obtained results display in 3-D, 2-D and contour visualization to investigate the impact of different involved parameters. The velocity of soliton has a stimulating effect on getting the desired aspects according to requirement. The sensitivity analysis is demonstrated for the designed dynamical structural system's wave profiles, where the soliton wave velocity and wave number parameters regulate the water wave singularity. This study shows that the method utilized is effective and may be used to find appropriate closed-form solitary solitons to a variety of nonlinear evolution equations (NLEEs).

Botanical surveys in all parts of Pakistan are mainly focused on ethnomedicinal uses of plants, and very little attention has been paid to documenting edible wild fruit species (EWFs). Multiple methodologies and tools were used for data collection. In a recent survey 74 EWF species belonging to 29 families were documented, including their medicinal uses for the treatment of various diseases. The most cited (23%) preparation method was raw, fresh parts. The UV and RFC of EWF species ranged from 0.08 to 0.4 and from 0.02 to 0.18, respectively. In terms of specific disease treatments and their consensus, the ICF ranged from 0 to 0.38. Sexual, gastrointestinal, and respiratory disorders had the highest use reports, and 11 species of plants had the highest FL of 100%. On the basis of uses reported by the inhabitants of seven districts of Southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, the CSI ranged from the lowest 1.3 to the highest 41. It is concluded that the traditional uses of EWF species depend mainly on socio-economic factors rather than climatic conditions or the number of species. However, there is a gradual loss of traditional knowledge among the younger generations. The present survey is the first baseline study about the socio-economic dimension of local communities regarding the use of EWF species for food as well as medicine.

This article discusses the surgical management of primary hyperparathyroidism, specifically focusing on the use of minimally invasive parathyroidectomy (MIP) for solitary parathyroid adenoma. The study found that open MIP can be safely and reliably performed as a day-case procedure, with accurate pre-operative localization using ultrasound and 99m Tc-sestamibi scans optimizing the success of the surgery. The article emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary team involving various medical professionals to enable open MIP to become a routine day-case procedure. Abstract Medicinal plants are highly used in the ethnoveterinary practice as considerable livestock resources in remote areas. The aim of the present study is to explore the ethnoveterinary medicinal practices in three different communities and discuss the cross‐cultural consensus on the usage of medicinal plants for the treatment of animals. The field survey was conducted by the animal healers of the area during the different seasons of plant growth. A total of 83 informants were interviewed through Semi‐structured interview involving experts of traditional knowledge in 21 localities of the three regions (Zhob, D. I. Khan and Mianwali) were conducted. Findings of the study were quantitatively analyzed through the informant consensus factors to identify the homogeneity information provided by the informants. Furthermore, cross‐culture consensuses were analyzed and recorded data were represented in a tabulated and Venn diagrams. In particularly, 59 species of plants were documented in the comparative analysis. Among them, 32 plant species were recorded in Pashto community, while Punjabi and Sarakai communities exhibited nine and four plant species, respectively. Whereas cross‐cultural analysis showed 14 medicinal plants that were commonly utilized by three different ethnic communities, that indicated low interregional consensus in regard to ethnoveterinary practices of medicinal plants. The current study showed that different communities and ethnic groups sharing some traditional knowledge and cross‐culturally approaches have been reported from traditional uses of plants against livestock's diseases. Therefore, current findings are the opportunities to scrutinize the plants for the discovery of new drug sources for humans and animals.

Presently, biodiesel offers a sustainable and renewable substitute for exhausting fossil fuels such as Petro-diesel. Large scale production of biodiesel could lead to positive outcomes in terms of environmental quality by reducing greenhouse gasses emission and Societal-Economic development. Hence, this research work focused on biodiesel synthesis from novel and non-edible seed oil of Monotheca buxifolia using green nano-particles of calcium oxide synthesized with aqueous leaves extract of Boerhavia procumbens. Advanced techniques like X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy diffraction X-Ray (EDX) were used to characterize calcium oxide nano-particles. High yield of biodiesel (95%) was obtained at optimum reaction conditions such as methanol to oil molar ratio of 9:1, catalyst loading 0.83 (wt.%), reaction time 180 min and temperature 85 °C. Gas Chromatography/Mass spectroscopy (GC/MS) analysis of biodiesel revealed four distinct peaks of methyl esters. Results of Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) confirmed the formation of methyl esters in biodiesel sample. Fuel properties of biodiesel such as density (0.821 kg/m3), viscosity (5.35 mm2/s), cloud point (-8 ◦C), pour point (-9 ◦C) and flash point (95 ◦C) were found equivalent to international ASTM D-6571, EN 14,214 and China GB/T 20828–2007 standards. It was finally concluded that Monotheca buxifolia is a highly potential, eco-friendly, and cheaper biomass feedstock for biodiesel production.

The motive of the study was to explore the nonlinear Riemann wave equation, which describes the tsunami and tidal waves in the sea and homogeneous and stationary media. This study establishes the framework for the analytical solutions to the Riemann wave equation using the new extended direct algebraic method. As a result, the soliton patterns of the Riemann wave equation have been successfully illustrated, with exact solutions offered by the plane solution, trigonometry solution, mixed hyperbolic solution, mixed periodic and periodic solutions, shock solution, mixed singular solution, mixed trigonometric solution, mixed shock single solution, complex soliton shock solution, singular solution, and shock wave solutions. Graphical visualization is provided of the results with suitable values of the involved parameters by Mathematica. It was visualized that the velocity of the soliton and the wave number controls the behavior of the soliton. We are confident that our research will assist physicists in predicting new notions in mathematical physics.

Plant ethnoveterinary uses are evident in various studies around the world, but the ethnoveterinary practices of forage species are not widely reported. Traditional knowledge is rapidly disappearing because of urbanization and commercial activities. The purpose of this study was to document plant species used by the local communities in Malakand Agency, Pakistan for foraging and ethnoveterinary purposes. Twenty different localities in the study area were surveyed for documentation of forage species and related traditional ethnoveterinary knowledge used for livestock. Semistructured questionnaires and field walks were used to conduct 67 interviews with local farmers and herdsmen. A total of 91 forage species from 26 families were documented, as well as their ethnoveterinary applications. Poaceae and Fabaceae were dominant families with 45% and 15% of species respectively. Among the forage species documented, 62 were highly palatable, 26 were moderately palatable and 12 were less palatable. The region's major veterinary diseases are flu, ringworms, inflammations, low milk production, constipation, bloat, mastitis, pneumonia and wounds. The 62 forage species were reported for the first time for various veterinary uses. This study revealed that local communities commonly use a diverse range of forage species in conjunction with indigenous knowledge of ethnoveterinary uses. These forage species have the potential to overcome the recent fodder shortage. Such studies will be beneficial to the commercial production of such forage species. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
