Disparities in smoking prevalence persist among and within racial/ethnic groups in the U.S. This study aimed to identify racial/ethnic smoking behavior disparities in Chicago between 2015 and 2016. We used data from the Sinai Community Health Survey 2.0, a population-based survey conducted among adults living in ten diverse communities in Chicago. A total of 1543 adults completed the survey. We estimated the prevalence of smoking behavior among participants who had smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their lives (N = 598).
