Commercialization of photoelectrochemical (PEC) water-splitting technology is hindered by the slower kinetics of oxygen evolution in the currently available photoanodes. Light absorption, charge-separation, and charge-transfer efficiencies determine the kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) at semiconductor photoanode surfaces. All these parameters can be maximized by nanotexturing the photoanode surface through morphological (cones, pyramids, grids, etc.) control and crystallographic (facets) orientation. The primary objective of texturing on conducting substrates is to improve the photoconversion efficiency in PEC devices through an increased surface area and light absorption. Laser-assisted ablation and melt-fusion additive techniques allow for rapid iteration of morphological architecture designs for optimized light absorption properties. This work reviews various ultrafast laser techniques employed for fabricating nanotextured surfaces and their impact on PEC performance. Compared with conventional electrode fabrication techniques, laser-based surface nanotexturing techniques provide a cost-effective, rapid design, and validation method for the research and development of photoelectrochemical water splitting technologies. Postdramatic theatre revisits the theoretical concepts of drama, plot, character, and the body in order to deconstruct the deeper nuances of human identity vis-a-vis theatre and performance, especially in the postmodern times when the 'absolute' has lost its meaning. The understanding of post-dramatic theatre entails the analysis of the new theatre aesthetics, especially post-1960s. This paper intends to understand the concept of post-dramatic theatre both as a theory as well as a philosophy that defies any normative way of doing theatre and making performances. The paper aims to argue that post-dramatic theatre does not pose an opposition to the conventional meaning of theatre performance but goes beyond it to broaden the horizon and meaning of theatrical performance keeping in mind the postmodern scenario. After understanding this concept of theatre, the paper also attempts to trace the relevance of postdramatic theatre in the Indian context, especially regarding the representation of crisis. This will be done in the light of how the meaning of postdramatic theatre in the Indian context entails an understanding around the aspects of multiplicity and diversity attached to the Indian theatrical traditions that are open to experiments and creativity beyond conventionality. Shear thickening fluid (STF) are non-Newtonian fluids that usually behave as liquid in normal condition however under sudden impact, they transformed into a solid like structure with abrupt rise in viscosity. The rheological properties of these fluids play a significant role in energy dissipation. In the present work, effect of boric acid (BA) as an additive for the fine tuning of shear thickening (ST) behavior of colloidal silica-based shear thickening fluids (STFs) was investigated. STFs were synthesized with silica particles (600 nm) in liquid polyethylene glycol (PEG-200). Both the steady state and dynamic rheological studies of STFs were carried out to compare ST behavior of BA based STFs with only silica-based STFs. In steady state rheology, it was observed that max. viscosity increases four time compared to only silica based STF. In dynamic rheology, it was observed that the maximum G′ and G″ of the STF composition (69% + 1.2% BA) at a frequency of 70 rad/s has increased by ∼41 times and ∼14 times, respectively, when the deforming strain reaches at 100% strain. Both the steady state and dynamic rheological analyses have confirmed that boric acid based STFs exhibited higher shear/strain thickening behavior, as well as higher energy absorption property.
