Abstract

In this paper, we characterize Carleson measure and vanishing Carleson measure on Bergman spaces with admissible weights in terms of {\it t-Berezin transform} and {\it averaging function} as key tools. Moreover, power bounded and power compact weighted composition operators are characterized as application of Carleson measure and vanishing Carleson measure respectively on Bergman spaces with admissible weights.

Abstract

In this paper, we completely characterize nuclear Volterra composition operators $T^\phi_g : \mathcal H^\infty_\nu \longrightarrow \mathcal H^\infty_\mu$ and $S^\phi_g : \mathcal H^\infty_\nu \longrightarrow \mathcal H^\infty_\mu$ acting between weighted type spaces in terms of the symbols $g$ and $\phi$ of $T^\phi_g$ and $S^\phi_g$ and weights $\nu$ and $\mu$, when the weights $\nu$ and $\mu$ are normal weights in the sense of Shields and Williams. Moreover, nuclear Volterra composition operators acting between little weighted type spaces and Bloch spaces of order $\beta$ are also characterized.

Abstract

In this paper, we characterize bounded, compact and order bounded sum of weighted differentiation composition operators from Bergman type spaces to weighted Banach spaces of analytic functions, where the sum of weighted differentiation composition operators is defined as $$ S^{n}_{\vec{u},\tau}(f)= \displaystyle\sum_{j=0}^{n}D_{u_{j} ,\tau}^{j}(f), \; \; f \in \mathcal{H}(\mathbb D).$$ Here $\mathcal{H}(\mathbb D)$ is the space of all holomorphic functions on $\mathbb D$, $\vec{u}=\{u_{j}\}_{j=0}^{n}$, $u_{j} \in \mathcal{H}(\mathbb{D})$, $\tau$ a holomorphic self-map of $\mathbb D$, $f^{(j)}$ the $j$th derivative of $f$ and weighted differentiation composition operator $D_{u_{j},\tau}^{j}$ is defined as $D_{u_{j},\tau}^{j}(f)=u_{j}C_{\tau}D^{j}(f)=u_{j}f^{(j)}\circ\tau, \; \; f \in \mathcal{H}(\mathbb D).$

24. Unearthing diverse culturable fungal communities associated with Ophiocordyceps indica sp. nov. from Indian Western Himalaya.

Abstract

Fungal communities colonizing Ophiocordyceps spp. plays a crucial ecological role in their natural habitat, contributing to infect the host larvae, and influencing their occurrence. Although associated fungi with the newly described Ophiocordyceps indica, from the Indian Western Himalaya remains unclear. Therefore, we untangled the culturable fungal communities associated with O. indica and soil adhered to it, collected from low‐height areas of Himachal Pradesh, India. The study resulted in the identification of 111 fungal isolates representing 17 families, with maximum fungal isolates (36.03%) within Cordycipitaceae. Interestingly, a total of 24 genera were found associated with O. indica and adhered soil, of which 12 were common, 8 were exclusive to O. indica and 4 were only limited to soil. Additionally, the influence of soil physicochemical parameters on fungal diversity indices revealed a positive correlation with humidity and available nitrogen and a negative correlation with pH and available phosphorus. These findings provide insights into the culturable fungal diversity of O. indica and the soil adhering to it, thus can contribute to the understanding of host‐microbial interactions. Abstract

Finding parking in a busy city has been a major daily problem in today’s busy life. Researchers have proposed various parking spot detection systems to overcome the problem of spending a long time searching for a parking spot. These works include a wide variety of sensors to detect the presence of a vehicle in a parking spot. These approaches are expensive to implement and ineffective in extreme weather conditions in an outdoor parking environment. As a result, a cost-effective, dependable, and time-saving parking solution is much more desirable. In this thesis, we proposed and developed an image processing-based real-time parking-spot detection system using deep-learning algorithms. In this regard, we annotated the images using the Visual Geometry Group (VGG) annotator and preprocessed the dataset using the image contrast enhancement technique that attempts to solve the illumination changes in pictures captured in an open space, followed by training the model using the Mask-R-CNN (Region-Based Convolutional Neural Network) and Faster-RCNN algorithms. ROIs (Regions of interest) are used later to determine the vacancy status of each parking spot. Our experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our developed parking systems as we achieved a mean Average Precision (mAP) of 0.999 for the PKLot dataset and a mAP of 0.9758 for custom datasets. Furthermore, as part of the smart parking application, we developed an Android App that can be used by the end users. Our proposed intelligent parking system is scalable, cost-effective, and to the best of our knowledge, it offers higher parking spot detection accuracy than any other solutions in this domain.

41. Esophageal Perforation following Accidental Ingestion of a Razor Blade

Abstract

Background. Ingestion of sharp foreign bodies is uncommon and often underreported. It can present with esophageal perforation which is a life-threatening complication requiring prompt diagnosis and management. Case Presentation. We report a case of accidental ingestion of a razor blade in a chronic alcoholic who presented with hematemesis after an esophageal perforation, the diagnosis of which was confirmed by radiology. Conclusion. Early recognition of esophageal perforation is crucial for early intervention. Proper history taking and radiological investigations are a key to reaching a diagnosis.
