Abstract Background Pulmonary pseudoaneurysm (PAP) is a fatal complication of severe acute respiratory syndrome caused by coronavirus 2 infections in the lungs. Other causative agent such as fungal and tubercular also responsible for this entity. Early detection and treatment can save a patient’s life. Case presentation Here we describe a case of a left pulmonary artery pseudo aneurysm in a 54-year-old patient with COVID-19 pneumonia who presented with massive hemoptysis and which was treated with endovascular embolization. Conclusion It is caused by vasculopathy due to immunosuppression /immune dysregulation in COVID-19. Minimally invasive endovascular embolization of pseudoaneurysm carries less mortality and morbidity.

Abstract Background Primary intracranial Ewing’s sarcoma (ES) is a type of primitive neuroectodermal tumour and is a rare malignant tumour in children and adolescents. The imaging features of ES overlap with other central nervous system embryonal tumours, making it difficult to pinpoint a specific diagnosis. We aim to explore the clinical, neuroimaging and differential diagnoses of this entity. Case presentation We describe a 6-month-old infant who presented with complaints of enlarging the head size and poor feeding. Imaging revealed a contrast-enhancing large solid-cystic mass lesion with internal calcification, focal bone erosion and haemorrhage in the posterior fossa. Histopathological examinations, immunohistochemistry, and molecular analysis confirmed ES. Conclusions The confirmative diagnosis of primary intracranial ES requires histological examination, immunohistochemical analysis, and genetic detection, along with radiological findings. Surgical excision followed by combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy is the treatment of choice.

A case report of conjoined twins (thoracopagus-conjoined neck, thorax, and upper abdomen) diagnosed by routine ultrasonography in a 26-year-old G2 P1 pregnant female at 19 weeks of gestation is discussed. The pregnancy was terminated at this gestation with explained prognosis to the patient and consent of the family.

Background: Calvarial lesions are usually asymptomatic and discovered incidentally. Often they may be suspected clinically based on localized pain or calvarial mass or defect. Case description: The present report demonstrates the classic imaging features of calvarial hemangioma on plain radiography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in 50-year old female patient. Conclusion: The calvarial intra-osseous hemangiomas are rare benign tumors with classic features on various radiologic modalities. A rare case of a large pseudoaneurysm at the anastomotic site of internal iliac artery with the graft renal artery in a case of renal transplant is presented with a vision of documenting this condition and making clinicians familiar with this rare postsurgical complication in patients of renal transplant.
