Abstract

In the era of content creation revolution propelled by advancements in generative models, the field of web design remains unexplored despite its critical role in modern digital communication. The web design process is complex and often time-consuming, especially for those with limited expertise. In this paper, we introduce Web Rendering Parameters Generation (WebRPG), a new task that aims at automating the generation for visual presentation of web pages based on their HTML code. WebRPG would contribute to a faster web development workflow. Since there is no existing benchmark available, we develop a new dataset for WebRPG through an automated pipeline. Moreover, we present baseline models, utilizing VAE to manage numerous elements and rendering parameters, along with custom HTML embedding for capturing essential semantic and hierarchical information from HTML. Extensive experiments, including customized quantitative evaluations for this specific task, are conducted to evaluate the quality of the generated results., Comment: Accepted at ECCV 2024. Abstract

Aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA) is an emerging fine-grained sentiment analysis task that aims to extract aspects, classify corresponding sentiment polarities and find opinions as the causes of sentiment. The latest research tends to solve the ABSA task in a unified way with end-to-end frameworks. Yet, these frameworks get fine-tuned from downstream tasks without any task-adaptive modification. Specifically, they do not use task-related knowledge well or explicitly model relations between aspect and opinion terms, hindering them from better performance. In this paper, we propose SentiPrompt to use sentiment knowledge enhanced prompts to tune the language model in the unified framework. We inject sentiment knowledge regarding aspects, opinions, and polarities into prompt and explicitly model term relations via constructing consistency and polarity judgment templates from the ground truth triplets. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach can outperform strong baselines on Triplet Extraction, Pair Extraction, and Aspect Term Extraction with Sentiment Classification by a notable margin., Comment: 7pages, under blind review

5. Health State Assessment of Lithium-Ion Batteries Based on Multi-Health Feature Fusion and Improved Informer Modeling.

Abstract

Accurately assessing the state of health (SOH) of lithium batteries is of great significance for improving battery safety performance. However, the current assessment for SOH suffers from the difficulty of selecting health features and the lack of uncertainty using data-driven methods. To this end, this paper proposes a health state assessment method for lithium-ion batteries based on health feature extraction and an improved Informer model. First, multiple features that can reflect the SOH of lithium-ion batteries were extracted from the charging and discharging time, the peak value of incremental capacity curve (ICC), and the inflection point value of differential voltage curve, etc., and the correlation between multiple health features and the health state was evaluated by gray correlation analysis. Then, an improved Informer model is proposed to establish a health state estimation method for lithium-ion batteries. Finally, the proposed algorithm is tested and validated using publicly available battery charge/discharge datasets and compared with other algorithms. The results show that the method in this paper can realize high-precision SOH prediction with a root-mean-square error (RMSE) of 0.011, and the model fit reaches more than 98%. Abstract

Through exploring the titled research topic and examining the influence of social gender, we suggest some adjustments to a project of toilet amelioration. The approach of factor analysis was used to analyze 448 rural villagers’ questionnaires collected in an investigation in Shanxi province. Most rural villagers are satisfied with the said project. Women’s satisfaction level with regard to the convenience and diseases control is lower than men’s. But their satisfaction with the objective factors of the toilet itself is higher than men’s. Policy-making should consider the needs of these two different groups.

Abstract

Since 2002, the Trinity Mode has been adopted in China to include safe drinking water and sanitation services in order to change the services into public products of rural communities. These products would contain multi-valued attributes of miniature infrastructure constructions, primary health care, and ecological protection. Poverty reduction demands different policies with extended connotation and changed features, from increasing income to improving welfare services, from a macroscopic to a microscopic viewpoint, from the national level to that of communities, and from the indistinguishable to an individual. Against such background, A Ba Prefecture is selected as the case study area. Safe drinking water and sanitation services, the most important components of basic public health services, are selected as the research object in the study, and both sanitation and health are included in the framework to analyze poverty. Altogether, 5637 valid questionnaires of “The Investigation on Poverty Alleviation in A Ba Prefecture in2009”have been carefully studied. The study shows that great achievements have been made in alleviating poverty in A Ba by improving the drinking water in rural areas. However, a huge amount of work is needed to apply hygiene facilities and popularize clean energy. Hence, the government’s antipoverty policies should be strengthened in the latter two aspects.
