OBJECTIVE OF STUDY: To compare the effect of DSP alone and DSP along with play through feet on infant at risk for developmental delay using DASII. METHODS: Study design: Hospital based, comparative, AB design, experimental, controlled. Sampling method: Simple random alternate allocation. Sample size: 30 RESULTS AND CONCLUSION : The control group who were subjected to DSP showed statistical significance in overall motor development quotient, neck control, manipulation and mental deviation quotient. The experimental group who were exposed to exploration with feet along with DSP had significant change in all the developmental indices i.e. neck control, body control, locomotor skills, manipulatory skills and over all motor and mental development quotient. On comparing the scores of control and experimental, experimental group performed significantly better on development of motor quotient, body control and locomotor skills than the control group.
