The objective was to study the effectiveness of fish oil (FO) and ozonated fish oil (OFO) on the intensity of lipid peroxidation (LPO) processes and the antioxidant system of the blood during physical activity «to failure».Methods and materials. The animals were divided into 4 groups of 12 rats. Saline was administered orally to control animals (group 1). Rats (group 2) were fed fish oil (dose 35 mg/kg), rats of group 3 – ozonated fish oil (dose 35 mg / kg, ozonide number 3000), group 4 – ozonated fish oil (dose 35 mg/kg, ozonide number 1500). Physical activity was modelated the method of forced swimming of rat «to failure» with a load of 10 % of body weight. The state of the LPO system was assessed by the concentration of malondialdehyde (MDA) in erythrocytes and the level of diene conjugates (DC), triene conjugates (TC) and Schiff bases (SH) in the blood plasma. The state of the antioxidant system was determined by the activity of catalase in the blood plasma.Results. Physical activity had an increase in DC, TC, OR in the blood plasma, an increase in the MDA content in erythrocytes, which was accompanied by a gradual increase in catalase activity in the blood plasma. The administration of FO against the background of physical activity determined less pronounced lipid peroxidation, while the introduction of OFO with an ozonide number of 3000 determined the most pronounced lipid peroxidation compared to the control. The lowest oxidative effect of physical compounds was recorded with the introduction of OFO with an ozonide number of 1500.Conclusions. Oral administration of OFO with an ozonide number of 1500 during physical exercise of significant intensity inhibited the development of oxidative stress against the background of high antioxidant activity of the blood to a greater extent than the use of FO.

The problems of optimal participation in labor activity of people of older age groups are considered. The dynamics of demographic aging are characterized by duality: against the background of chronological aging, biological rejuvenation of the world's population occurs, which significantly increases human potential. We must move away from erroneous ideas about older age as a period of “sluggish living”; on the contrary, this age provides a person with the opportunity to live a highly productive life. It can be reasonably argued that the older generation today has become more mobile and socially active. Global trends in the transformation of the labor market demonstrate a gradual shift in the employment structure towards older ages. Labor is the basis for the social self-realization of older people and a condition for prolonging active life. The average life expectancy of pensioners who remain active is significantly higher than those who have stopped working. Labor is the most powerful geroprotector! Protecting the physiological state of intelligence in old age is the main task of gerontology and geriatrics. We need to be very critical of current ideas about the degradation of intelligence in old age. The process of intellectual development of a person of mental labor is fundamentally limitless - this is the main way of his existence as an individual. The level of education has a significant impact on life expectancy. People with higher levels of education have lower mortality rates and longer life expectancy. The dominant models of the social status of older people forcefully pushes the elderly person out into “well-deserved rest.” The introduction of a mandatory retirement (“disabled”) age for everyone means that the legislator declares the experience accumulated by older people to have lost social significance. This attitude is a factor in the growth of social tension and impedes the formation of social cohesion, gives rise to a social trend of age discrimination - “ageism”, which manifests itself, in particular,in difficulties in finding a job and in the reduced level of wages for older people. As a result, over the past decade, the number of working pensioners in Russia and the duration of their period of work after retirement have decreased significantly. It is necessary to create a long-term doctrine of the work activity of older people.

The paper analyzes the trajectory of development of the scientific periodical "Bulletin of the Medical Institute 'REAVIZ': Rehabilitation, Doctor and Health", examining the key challenges and problematic aspects faced by the journal's editorial board in the course of its current work. Overall, attention is paid to the systematic correction of the main vectors of improving editorial policy in accordance with the best international practices of publishing scientific journals, issues of improving the quality of published materials, deepening the review processes and strict selection of articles for publication, attracting authors from various regions of Russia and foreign countries, analyzing the prospects for developing the practice of publishing accompanying digital data and resources along with textual materials, increasing citation and indexing of the journal in authoritative databases, as well as promoting an open access policy. Based on the results of the analysis, specific plans for the further progressive development of the journal "Bulletin of the Medical Institute 'REAVIZ'" are formulated.

OBJECTIVE: Suicidal behavior is heritable and is a major cause of death worldwide. Two large-scale genome-wide association studies (GWASs) recently discovered and cross-validated genome-wide significant (GWS) loci for suicide attempt (SA). The present study leveraged the genetic cohorts from both studies to conduct the largest GWAS meta-analysis of SA to date. Multi-ancestry and admixture-specific meta-analyses were conducted within groups of significant African, East Asian, and European ancestry admixtures. METHODS: This study comprised 22 cohorts, including 43,871 SA cases and 915,025 ancestry-matched controls. Analytical methods across multi-ancestry and individual ancestry admixtures included inverse variance-weighted fixed-effects meta-analyses, followed by gene, gene-set, tissue-set, and drug-target enrichment, as well as summary-data-based Mendelian randomization with brain expression quantitative trait loci data, phenome-wide genetic correlation, and genetic causal proportion analyses. In Bragg coherent diffractive imaging, the precise location of the measured crystals in the interior of the sample is usually missing. Obtaining this information would help the study of the spatially dependent behavior of particles in the bulk of inhomogeneous samples, such as extra-thick battery cathodes. This work presents an approach to determine the 3D position of particles by precisely aligning them at the instrument axis of rotation. In the test experiment reported here, with a 60 µm-thick LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 battery cathode, the particles were located with a precision of 20 µm in the out-of-plane direction, and the in-plane coordinates were determined with a precision of 1 µm.

This article analyzes the inhomogeneous Hilbert boundary value problem for an upper half-plane with the finite index and boundary condition on the real axis for one generalized Cauchy–Riemann equation with a singular point on the real axis. A structural formula was obtained for the general solution of this equation under restrictions leading to an infinite index of the logarithmic order of the accompanying Hilbert boundary value problem for analytic functions. This formula and the solvability results of the Hilbert problem in the theory of analytic functions were applied to solve the set boundary value problem.

The displacement efficiency and residual oil saturation are the most important characteristics determining the recoverable volumes of oil and the waterflooding efficiency. The main data about these parameters are provided by laboratory core studies. Specialized field tests make it possible to evaluate the same characteristics in-situ, directly on a well, thus excluding the influence of scale effect and impact of core sampling and preparation.This paper presents the results of a field study to evaluate the displacement efficiency and residual oil saturation on a well draining terrigenous Devonian formations on one of the areas of the Romashkinskoye field. The results are compared with generalized dependencies based on core data. Significant influence of the scale effect (the effect of sweep multiplicity) on the estimated parameter values was noted, which indicates the need to supplement laboratory experiments with specialized field studies.

Introduction. The development of artificial intelligence methods and technologies aimed at speech recognition contributes to the creation of specialised programmes – namely voice assistants – which are capable of conducting a dialogue in natural language. Such services are of particular relevance in inclusive education in order to support students with visual impairments. The research problem lies in the individualised support of students’ independent work based on a voice assistant and is determined by the contradiction between the widespread use of various question-answer systems in business and everyday life (including those with a voice interface), on the one hand, and insufficient knowledge their didactic possibilities, on the other hand.Aim. The present research aims to investigate and practically implement the methodology of inclusive design of digital educational resources on the example of creating an intelligent voice assistant for students’ independent work in the course “Computer Networks”.Methodology and research methods. The current research is based on the methodology of inclusive design in combination with an ontological approach in relation to the creation of digital educational resources, speech recognition methods, methods for designing intelligent systems and knowledge bases, methods and technologies for designing and implementing automated learning systems with feedback. To recognise questions, search for answers, and support dialogues carried out by a voice assistant, the authors applied natural language text analysis methods and classification models created using machine learning methods.Results. The authors have developed and substantiated the requirements that a digital educational resource must meet in accordance with the principles of inclusive design, linking an ontological approach to content development, automatic individualised support for students, and monitoring the achievement of educational results. According to the formulated requirements, the authors have developed an interactive computer service – an intelligent voice assistant that provides support for students’ independent work when performing practical tasks, using the “Computer Networks” course as an example. The service supports voice input and subsequent interpretation of questions, search for answers in the knowledge base with voice output of the result, and implements the execution of operations according to certain rules.Scientific novelty. The authors have clarified the content of the concept of “inclusive design” in the context of digital educational resources, when the key feature is the focus on continuous improvement of the didactic capabilities of a particular product. The authors have shown that this can be achieved through a conceptually based content structure and initially provided feedback. This approach has proven to be effective in designing an intelligent voice assistant to answer student questions and to automatically perform operations on a computer.Practical significance. The use of a voice assistant by students of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Tyumen in the process of studying the course “Computer Networks” demonstrated the relevance of developing similar question-answering systems to accompany the independent work of students, including those with visual impairments in online and blended learning. The developed service is universal and can be used with any knowledge base that provides answers to students’ questions.

We report on the evolution of the charge density wave (CDW) and spin density wave (SDW) orders of a chromium film following photoexcitation with an ultrafast optical laser pulse. The CDW is measured by ultrafast time-resolved x-ray diffraction of the CDW satellite that tracks the suppression and recovery of the CDW following photoexcitation. We find that as the temperature of the film approaches a discontinuous phase transition in the CDW and SDW orders, the time scales of recovery increase exponentially from the expected thermal time scales. We extend a Landau model for SDW systems to account for this critical slowing with the appropriate boundary conditions imposed by the geometry of the thin film system. This model allows us to assess the energy barrier between the available CDW/SDW states with different spatial periodicities.

ObjectiveTo investigate the genetic architecture of internalizing symptoms in childhood and adolescence.MethodIn 22 cohorts, multiple univariate genome-wide association studies (GWASs) were performed using repeated assessments of internalizing symptoms, in a total of 64,561 children and adolescents between 3 and 18 years of age. Results were aggregated in meta-analyses that accounted for sample overlap, first using all available data, and then using subsets of measurements grouped by rater, age, and instrument.ResultsThe meta-analysis of overall internalizing symptoms (INToverall) detected no genome-wide significant hits and showed low single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) heritability (1.66%, 95% CI = 0.84-2.48%, neffective = 132,260). Stratified analyses indicated rater-based heterogeneity in genetic effects, with self-reported internalizing symptoms showing the highest heritability (5.63%, 95% CI = 3.08%-8.18%). The contribution of additive genetic effects on internalizing symptoms appeared to be stable over age, with overlapping estimates of SNP heritability from early childhood to adolescence. Genetic correlations were observed with adult anxiety, depression, and the well-being spectrum (|rg| > 0.70), as well as with insomnia, loneliness, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism, and childhood aggression (range |rg| = 0.42-0.60), whereas there were no robust associations with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or anorexia nervosa.ConclusionGenetic correlations indicate that childhood and adolescent internalizing symptoms share substantial genetic vulnerabilities with adult internalizing disorders and other childhood psychiatric traits, which could partially explain both the persistence of internalizing symptoms over time and the high comorbidity among childhood psychiatric traits. Reducing phenotypic heterogeneity in childhood samples will be key in paving the way to future GWAS success.

Радикальные методы лечения злокачественных новообразований печени удается применить лишь в 10–30 % случаев, поэтому необходимо разрабатывать и совершенствовать консервативные методы. В связи с этим актуальны исследования воздействия гипертермии на усвоение противоопухолевых препаратов и влияния компонентов пчелиного яда как физиологического терапевтического агента на энергетический метаболизм опухолевых клеток. Потенциальным методом изучения изменения показателей энергетического метаболизма в плазме крови можно считать инфракрасную спектроскопию. Цель данной работы заключается в оценке изменения концентраций метаболитов энергетического обмена в крови животных-опухоленосителей в условиях гипертермии на фоне действия апитоксина посредством инфракрасной спектроскопии. Материалы и методы. Эксперимент проведен на 50 белых нелинейных крысах-самках. Животные были разделены на интактную, контрольную и три опытные группы. Крысам из контрольной и опытных групп была привита гепатоцеллюлярная карцинома. Животным опытных групп вводили внутрибрюшинно яд пчелы медоносной, затем проводили сеансы гипертермии при разных температурах (42,5; 43,5 и 44,5 °С). Плазму крови исследовали на спектрофотометре в диапазоне волновых чисел 1170–1025 см–1. Результаты. Отмечено статистически значимое увеличение в крови крыс уровня аденозинтрифосфата (на 54 %) и уменьшение содержания аденозинмоно(на 54 %), аденозиндифосфата (на 18 %) и глюкозы (на 87 %) по отношению к контролю при гипертермии 42,5 °С на фоне действия пчелиного яда к 7-м суткам, однако на 28-е сутки, наоборот, наблюдалось повышение концентраций аденозинмонофосфата, аденозиндифосфата, глюкозы и снижение уровня аденозинтрифосфата. При остальных режимах гипертермии положительной динамики не выявлено. Исследование подтвердило, что метод инфракрасной спектроскопии позволяет оценивать энергетические изменения в организме животного с гепатоцеллюлярной карциномой при разных режимах гипертермии на фоне терапевтического воздействия пчелиного яда. Наиболее оптимальные условия для активного влияния на организм пчелиного яда достигаются при 42,5 °С.

The OCT4 transcription factor is necessary to maintain cell stemness in the early stages of embryogenesis and is involved in the formation of induced pluripotent stem cells, but its role in oncogenesis is not yet entirely clear. In this work, OCT4 expression was investigated in malignant gliomas. Twenty glioma cell lines and a sample of normal adult brain tissue were used. OCT4 expression was found in all studied glioma cell lines but was not detected in normal adult brain tissue. For one of these lines, OCT4 knockdown caused tumor cell death. By varying the culture conditions of these cells, we unexpectedly found that OCT4 expression increased when cells were incubated in serum-free medium, and this effect was significantly enhanced in serum-free and L-glutamine-free medium. L-glutamine and the Krebs cycle, which is slowed down in serum-free medium according to our NMR data, are sources of α-KG. Thus, our data indicate that OCT4 expression in gliomas may be regulated by the α-KG-dependent metabolic reprogramming of cells.

Background. Adequate restoration of blood flow through the portal vein in the graft is only possible with a clear understanding of its anatomy in the donor.The aim was to describe new and extend current data on the portal vein anatomy in a donor of the right liver lobe, to describe variants and formulate principles of portal reconstruction in right lobe living donor liver transplantation.Material and methods. 306 living donor liver transplantations were performed from 2009 to 2021 in the State Research Center – Burnasyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center of Federal Medical Biological Agency. The vascular anatomy of 518 potential donors was analyzed. Portal vein variants of the anatomy of right lobe graft were assessed.Results. Nine types and 3 subtypes of portal vein branching were evaluated. A, B, C, D, E types match the types described earlier in Nakamura classification. Subtypes B1, B2 и D1 are specifications of types B and D. Types F, G, H, I have been described additionally. The incidence of types and subtypes where reconstruction was made: type A (82%), B (4.6%), B1 (3.9%), B2 (1.3%), C (3.9%), D (3.9%). The incidence of E, G, H, I types among 518 potential donors was 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.2%, 0.4%, respectively. The recipient portal vein complications were detected in 12 cases (3.9%), where 3(25%) were Class 3b according to Clavien-Dindo and 9(75%) of Clavien-Dindo Class 2. BackgroundSuicide is a leading cause of death worldwide, and nonfatal suicide attempts, which occur far more frequently, are a major source of disability and social and economic burden. Both have substantial genetic etiology, which is partially shared and partially distinct from that of related psychiatric disorders.MethodsWe conducted a genome-wide association study (GWAS) of 29,782 suicide attempt (SA) cases and 519,961 controls in the International Suicide Genetics Consortium (ISGC). The GWAS of SA was conditioned on psychiatric disorders using GWAS summary statistics via multitrait-based conditional and joint analysis, to remove genetic effects on SA mediated by psychiatric disorders. We investigated the shared and divergent genetic architectures of SA, psychiatric disorders, and other known risk factors.ResultsTwo loci reached genome-wide significance for SA: the major histocompatibility complex and an intergenic locus on chromosome 7, the latter of which remained associated with SA after conditioning on psychiatric disorders and replicated in an independent cohort from the Million Veteran Program. This locus has been implicated in risk-taking behavior, smoking, and insomnia. SA showed strong genetic correlation with psychiatric disorders, particularly major depression, and also with smoking, pain, risk-taking behavior, sleep disturbances, lower educational attainment, reproductive traits, lower socioeconomic status, and poorer general health. After conditioning on psychiatric disorders, the genetic correlations between SA and psychiatric disorders decreased, whereas those with nonpsychiatric traits remained largely unchanged.ConclusionsOur results identify a risk locus that contributes more strongly to SA than other phenotypes and suggest a shared underlying biology between SA and known risk factors that is not mediated by psychiatric disorders.
