In the solid effect of dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP), the concerted flips of the electronic and nuclear spins, which are needed for polarization transfer, are induced by the microwaves. Commonly, the effect of the microwaves is modeled by a rate process whose rate constant is determined perturbatively. According to quantum mechanics, however, the coherent microwave excitation leads to Rabi nutation, which corresponds to a rotation rather than a rate process. Here we reconcile the coherent effect of the microwaves with the description by rate equations by focusing only on the steady state of the spin dynamics. We show that the phenomenological rate constants describing the synchronous excitation of the electronic and nuclear spins can be selected such that the description by rate equations yields the same steady state as the exact quantum-mechanical treatment. The resulting non-perturbative rates differ from the classical, perturbative ones and remain valid also at the high microwave powers used in modern-day DNP. Our treatment of the solid effect highlights the role of the coherences in the mechanistic steps of polarization transfer and reveals the importance of the dispersive (i.e., out-of-phase) component of the EPR line. Interestingly, the multiplicative dependence of the DNP enhancement on the dispersive EPR component was intuited in the very first report of the solid effect in liquids (Erb et al., 1958a). The time-domain description of the solid effect developed here is extendable to liquids, where the dipolar interaction changes randomly in time due to molecular diffusion.

The solid-state effect of dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) is operative also in viscous liquids where the dipolar interaction between the electronic and nuclear spins is partially averaged. The proper way to quantify the degree of averaging, and thus calculate the efficiency of the effect, should be based on the time-correlation function of the dipolar interaction. Here we develop a general theoretical description which can take different dipolar correlations functions depending on the assumed motional model. At high magnetic fields, the theory predicts DNP enhancements at small offsets, far from the classical solid-effect positions that are displaced by one nuclear Larmor frequency from the electronic resonance. The predictions are in quantitative agreement with such enhancement peaks observed at 9.4 T [Kuzhelev et al. JACS, 144, 1164 (2022)]. These non-canonical peaks are not due to thermal mixing or the cross effect but exactly follow the dispersive component of the EPR line.

The first report of dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) in liquids via the solid-effect mechanism [Erb, Motchane and Uebersfeld, Compt. rend. 246, 2121 (1958)] drew attention to the similarity between the field profile of the enhancement and the dispersive component of the EPR line. The implications of this similarity, however, were not pursued subsequently as practically at the same time Abragam explained the effect in terms of state mixing by the dipolar interaction. Here we develop a description of the solid effect which is grounded in the dynamics of the electron-nucleus spin system, rather than the static view of state mixing. Our approach highlights the role of the coherences in the polarization transfer, and shows that the offset dependence of the DNP enhancement can be rationalized as the response of two band-pass filters connected in series. The first filter is the power-broadened EPR line; the second filter consists of two parts centered on both sides of the electronic resonance and displaced by one nuclear Larmor frequency from it. Being proportional to the product of the two filters, the DNP enhancement profile acquires its odd symmetry from the dispersive EPR line, as intuited by Erb et al. and in agreement with their phenomenological treatment. Bu araştırmada kat hizmetleri departmanında çalışan personelin motivasyonunda McClelland‘ın Öğrenilmiş İhtiyaçlar Teorisi’nin uygulanması amaçlanmaktadır: Araştırma, 1 Mayıs 2022 ile 15 Mayıs 2022 tarihleri arasında beş yıldızlı Haliç Park Otelde uygulanmıştır. Bu otelde kat hizmetleri departmanında çalışan toplam 26 personel uygulama kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Bu kapsamda, motivasyon ile ilgili görüşlerin toplanması için derinlemesine görüşme tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Görüşmelerde yarı yapılandırılmış toplam 10 soru sorulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda; kat hizmetleri personelinin para ve terfi gibi dışsal maddiyat unsurlarına düşük tercih sıklığı ile önem verdiği, ancak içsel motivasyona sahip oldukları ve Öğrenilmiş İhtiyaçlar Teorisi ile kolaylıkla motive edilebilecekleri görülmüştür. Personel sırasıyla, ilişki, güç elde etme ve başarı sağlama konularında tercih yapmıştır., In this research, it is aimed to apply McClelland's Learned Needs Theory in the motivation of the personnel working in the housekeeping department: The research was carried out between May 1, 2022 and May 15, 2022 at the five-star Haliç Park Hotel. A total of 26 personnel working in the housekeeping department of this hotel are included in the application. Qualitative research method was used in the research. In this context, in-depth interview technique was used to collect opinions about motivation. A total of 10 semi-structured questions were asked in the interviews. As a result of the research; It has been observed that housekeeping personnel give importance to external material elements such as money and promotion with a low frequency of preference, but they have intrinsic motivation and can be easily motivated by the Theory of Learned Needs. Personnel, in turn, made choices about establishing affiliation, power, and achievement.

Araştırma sonucunda bu takıma bağlı Anthicidae, Brentidae, Buprestidae, Cantharidae, Carabidae, Cerambycidae, Chrysomalidae, Cleridae, Coccinellidae, Curculionidae, Dasytidae, Dermestidae, Elateridae, Histeridae, Gyrinidae, Helophoridae, Malachiidae, Meloidae, Melolonthidae, Mordelidae, Oedemeridae, Scarabaeidae, Silphidae, Silvanidae, Staphylinidae, Tenebrionidae, Trogidae familyalarından 143 tür tespit edilmiştir. Anthicidae familyasından Microhoria fasciata (Chevrolat, 1834), Buprestidae familyasından Trachys quercicola Marseul, 1871, Carabidae familyasından Chlaenius velutinus (Duftschmid, 1812), Pterostichus melanarius (Illiger, 1798), Notiophilus palustris (Duftschmid, 1812), Cleridae familyasından Opilo domesticus (Sturm, 1837), Dasytidae familyasından Dolichosoma lineare (Rossi, 1794), Histeridae familyasından Dendrophilus punctatus (Herbst, 1791), Scarabeaidae familyasından Onthophagus joannae Goljan, 1953 ve Tenebrionidae familyasından Pachyscelis obscura Solier, 1836, Pimelia phymatodes Solier, 1836, Gonocephalum perplexum (Lucas, 1849), Opatrum sculpturatum (Fairmaire, 1860) türleri Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıttır. Tespit edilen türlerin, Dünya ve Türkiye’deki yayılışları, varsa sinonimleri, üzerinden toplandığı bitki türleri ve biyolojik notları verilmiş, takım üyelerinin bu adalardaki habitat tercihleri, familya ve tür komposizyonu tartışılmıştır.

Bu çalışmada; İda Dağı'nın, Troas Bölgesi için Antik Dönemdeki önemi incelenmiş ve anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Antik Dönemde, dağın kuzey taraflarında yer alan Skepsis ve Kebren gibi kentlerde yapılan hayvancılık faaliyetleri, güney kesimlerde bulunan Antandros gibi kereste bakımından zengin bir liman kentinin varlığı ve dağın, birçok av hayvanının yaşam alanı olması, bu bölgede hakimiyet kuran devletlere büyük ekonomik imkanlar sağlamıştır. Bunların yanı sıra; güney kesimlerde yer alan ve Akdeniz'e doğru açılan önemli bir ticaret limanı olan Assos'un varlığı da, bölgeye ayrı bir değer katmıştır. Çok yakın konumda bulunan Assos ve Antandros gibi limanlar sayesinde, dağda bulunan birçok hammaddenin, Akdeniz kentleriyle ticareti yapılabilmiştir. Dağ; ayrıca, kültürel ve ekonomik sınırlar da göz önüne alındığında, Doğu ve Batı Medeniyetlerinin birbirine en fazla yaklaştığı bölge özelliğini de taşımaktadır. İlk olarak M.Ö. 8. yüzyılda Homeros İliadası'nda adına rastlanılan İda Dağı'nın; 1. yüzyıla kadar, Antik Dönemde yer alan birçok kaynakta da, adının zikredildiği görülmektedir. Bu kaynaklardan haberdar olan çok sayıda seyyah ve araştırmacı, 18. ve 19. yüzyıllarda, bölgede birçok araştırmalar yapmışlardır. İlk önceleri; sadece geziler şeklinde görülen bu ziyaretler; daha sonraları, yerlerini, botanik, topografik ve arkeolojik araştırmalara bırakmıştır. Kaynakça anlamında olmak üzere; antik kaynakların, kazı raporlarının, seyyahların ve araştırmacıların yapmış olduğu yayınların üzerinde özellikle durulmuştur. Bu kaynakların sağladığı bilgiler neticesinde İda Dağı'nın tarihi, kültürel ve ekonomik yönden bölgede kilit bir role sahip olduğu vurgulanmış, ayrıca bu durumun günümüzde de devam ettiği ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. In this article, the importance of Ida Mountain for Troas Region in ancient times has been investigated and attempted to be described. In ancient times, mountain farming activities carried out in urban areas such as the northern part of the located Skepsis and Kebrene, the existence of a rich port city terms of timber as Antandros located in the southern part of the mountain to be the habitat of many wild animals, has made great economic opportunities to the states that established dominance in the region. These, as well as significant drop to the ground in the southern part of the Mediterranean Sea trading port, the separate existence of Assos has added value to the region. With as many ports in close and Antandros, Assos trade with Mediterranean cities the mountains could be made of many materials. Mountain, also, when considering the cultural and economic boundaries also bears the characteristic of region closer together most eastern and western civilizations. First, on behalf of the Homer in Iliad 8th century BC to the first century of the occurrence of Ida Mountain, it appeared that the name mentioned in many sources in the ancient times. The sources informed that a large number of travellers and researchers had done a lot of research in the area in the 18th the 19th century. At first, only those seen trips to visit; later have replaced botany, topograhical and archaeological researches. Ancient sources, excavation reports, and the recordings of the researchers and the travelers have been especially emphasized as parts of the bibliography. As a consequence of the information provided by these sources, it has been stressed that Ida Mountain had a key role in terms of historical, cultural and economic aspects, and additionally, it has been aimed to present that this condition continues at present time. 139

A computational analysis of the Overhauser effect is reported for the proton, methyl carbon, and carbonyl carbon nuclei of liquid acetone doped with the nitroxide radical TEMPOL. A practical methodology for calculating the dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) coupling factors by accounting for both dipole-dipole and Fermi-contact interactions is presented. The contribution to the dipolar spectral density function of nuclear spins that are not too far from TEMPOL is computed through classical molecular dynamics ( MD) simulations, whereas the contribution of distant spins is included analytically. Fermi contacts are obtained by subjecting a few molecules from every MD snapshot to ab initio quantum mechanical calculations. Scalar interaction is found to be an essential part of the C-13 Overhauser DNP. While mostly detrimental to the carbonyl carbon of acetone it is predicted to result in large enhancements of the methyl carbon signal at magnetic fields of 9 T and beyond. In contrast, scalar coupling is shown to be negligible for the protons of acetone. The additional influence of proton polarization on the carbon DNP (three-spin effect) is also analyzed computationally. Its effect, however, is concluded to be practically insignificant for liquid acetone.

The recently introduced methodology (Sezer, Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 2013, 15, 526) for calculating dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) coupling factors through synergistic use of molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and the analytical model of diffusing hard spheres with spins at their centers (HSCS) is applied to several nitroxides in water. Computations with one TEMPONE and one TEMPOL in water agree with experiments at 0.35 T and 3.4 T, respectively. At 9.2 T the predicted coupling factors are larger by about 50% than the experimental numbers obtained with 1 M TEMPOL solution. MD simulations at this elevated concentration reveal nanoscopic TEMPOL clusters and qualitatively explain the lower experimental values. Comparing the dynamics from the MD simulations with those of the HSCS model, the assumption of centered spins is shown to be too limiting even for small molecules like TEMPOL and water. Using the available extension of the HSCS model to off-centered spins, the current procedure for analyzing hydration water dynamics from Overhauser DNP measurements on spin-labeled proteins is revisited.

This study is a Literature Survey. The data of this study was restricted with Rabindranath Tagore's 10 works, which are parallel to the subject of the research. The data collected from Rabindranath Tagore's works are evaluated by using Pronounciation Analysis within the context of woman, freedom, development, change, art, love, life, God, individual and society concepts. The study contains 6 main chapters. The first chapter is the `Introduction` chapter that contains the problem, purpose, importance, restrictions and definitions. In the second chapter, the life story of Rabindranath Tagore, his colleagues in point of culture, the effect of his family and the cultural elements on his art, and the ideas of Tagore about art and woman are discussed. The third chapter is the `Methods` chapter. The fourth chapter includes the evaluation of the works of Rabindranath Tagore. The fifth chapter is composed of the `Findings and Interpretations`, and the sixth chapter contains the `Conclusion and Recommendations.` The findings obtained from the research has demonstrated that woman develop spiritually and culturally with education, science, philosophy and art, she can maintain her development, she can free her conscious and she can survive in the community as a free individual, and the spiritual and cultural development of the woman has reflected to the social development. 228

ÖZET TAMAMIYLE ÇÖZÜLEBİLEN KÜVANTUM POTANSİYELLERİ VE RÖLATİVİSTİK HİDROJEN ATOMU İÇİN ENVARYAN FONKSİYON YAKLAŞIMIYLA ÖZYİNELEME BAĞINTILARININ BULUNMASI Schrödinger denklemini tamamiyle çözülebilir kılan potansiyeller kjjjzantuffi- -`**``' mekaniğinin ilk yıllarından itibaren araştırma konusu olmuştur. Bu potansiyelleri elde etmenin en kestirme yolu Schrödinger denklemini, çözümü bilinen, ikinci dereceden bir difaransiyel denklem ile karşılaştırmaktan geçer. Daha önceki çalışmalar tamamiyle çözülebilen potansiyellerin iki sınıfa ayrıldığım göstermiştir. Bunlardan birincisi konfluan hipergeometrik denklemle, ikincisi de hipergeometrik denklemle ilgili olanlardır. Kesin çözümler bulunduktan sonra perturbasyon teorisi yöntemi kullanılarak çeşitli ortalama değerler de kolaylıkla bulunabilir. IV ABSTRACT THE INVARIANT FUNCTION APPROACH TO RECURSION RELATIONS FOR EXACTLY SOLUBLE QUANTUM POTENTIALS AND THE RELATIVISTIC HYDROGEN ATOM Potentials allowing exact solution of the Schrödinger equation have attracted interest starting from the early years of quantum mechanics. Among the various methods of obtaining them, comparison of the Schrödinger equation to a known, second order differential equation is the most straightforward one. Previous studies have already revealed that exactly soluble potentials fall into two groups: 1) potentials related to the confluent hypergeometric and 2) potentials related to the hypergeometric differential equations. After exact solutions are known it is natural to apply methods of perturbation theory for computing diagonal matrix elements. In this work recursion relations for expectation values are found using the invariant function approach. The general recursion relation obtained for Class I potentials is also applied to the relativistic Hydrogen atom problem. DOKÜMANTASYON MEBMM 43
