The objective of current study was to investigate the comparative cytotoxic effects of various fungi suspected as the etiological agent(s) of Degnala disease. Several toxigenic potential containing candidate fungi extracted from the rice straw feedings of Degnala affected animals were subjected for comparative cytotoxic analysis through MTT assay on vero cell line. There were five different species / genera of candidate fungi including Aspergillus flavus, A. niger, A. terrus, Fusarium and Penicillium all with variable toxigenic ability. Mycotoxin containing extracts of all these fungi were added in the DMEM+F-12 (with 5% FBS) media used for the exponential growth of vero cell line on 96 well cell culture plate. After an incubation period of 24 hours all the experimental groups were compared with the control on the basis of optical density (OD) value. Fusarium showed a very significant (p-value = 0.006) decrease in the number of live cells, then was the A. flavus (p-value = 0.039) as compared to the control. The current findings revealed that various toxigenic fungal isolates are not having equal cytotoxic potential. This study can be helpful in locating the actual cause of Degnala disease in bovine. Heavy rain that occurs on the State University of Malang campus often results in puddles. With the large water catchment area in the campus area and the many locations where rainwater pools, it is necessary to research how much rainwater can be collected. The methodology used includes collecting rain data, observing inundation locations, calculating rain using the ranking method, rational method debit calculations, water balance calculations, and storage size calculations. From the survey results, the locations that can be used as reservoirs consist of 14 locations. The area of the catchment area that has the potential to drain water into the reservoir is 69,845.10 m2. The storage capacity calculation results obtained: G1 = 178.50 m3, G1 = 80 m3, G3 = 75 m3, G4 = 108 m3, G5 = 97.5 m3, G6 = 93.6 m3, G7 = 84 m3, G8 = 22.5 m3, G9 = 67.2 m3, G10 = 83.2 m3, G11 = 41.6 m3, G12 = 36.4 m3, G13 = 65 m3, G14 = 65 m3. The amount of standing water that can be accommodated in the storage pond is 852.72 m3. The amount of standing water that can potentially be stored for 1 year is 19,553.98 m3.

Metro Sub-watershed is in Malang City. Based on data from BPBD Malang City, flood disasters have continued to increase from 2016 - 2022. The purpose of this research is to analyse the synthetic unit hydrograph (SUH) which will be used as the basis for planning water resources management. The rainfall data used in 2012-2021 with an average maximum rainfall height of 108 mm... Metro sub-watershed with an area of 31.371 km2 and a river length of 42 km and land use data with 59% of the residential. All data will be analysed for SUH in return periods Q2 = 2th, Q5 = 5th, Q10 = 10th, Q25 = 25th, Q50 = 50th, and Q100 = 100th. SUH analysis using HEC-HMS auxiliary program with Snyder and SCS (Soil Conservation Service) methods. The peak discharge results of the SUH in the Snyder method are Q2 = 47.8 m3/s, Q5 = 48.6 m3/s, Q10 = 50.7 m3/s, Q25 = 52.8 m3/s, Q50 = 54.1 m3/s, Q100 = 55.2 m3/s, and in the SCS method are Q2 = 37.5 m3/s, Q5 = 37.9 m3/s, Q10 = 39.8 m3/s, Q25 = 41.8 m3/s, Q50 = 43 m3/s, Q100 = 44 m3/s.

Abstract The purpose of this research is to explore whether The Lecturer Accountant’s Rules of Conducts has been in line with the perspectives of Maqashid Shariah and to explain the implementation of The Lecturer Accountan’s Rules of Conducts in Accounting Department, State Polytechnic of Malang. This research uses primary data obtained from interviews and questionnaires conducted in the Accounting Departement, State Polytechnic of Malang. By using simple random sampling technique, there are two hundred and ninty three respondents who fill the questionnaires. The interview was conducted to three people consisting of two lecturers in the Accounting Department and one from Maqashid Syariah expert, State Islamic University of Malang. The result of this research indicate that the Lecture Accountan’s Rules of Conducts have fulfilled the concepts of Maqashid Syariah and in the implementation of the Rules of Conduct, the educator accountant, in general, have done the concepts in accordance with the concept of Maqashid Shariah. Abstrak Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana kode etik akuntan pendidik yang sesuai dengan pandangan maqashid syariah dan untuk menjelaskan implementasi dari kode etik akuntan pendidik di Jurusan Akuntansi, Politeknik Negeri Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan kuesioner yang dilakukan di Jurusan Akuntansi Politeknik Negeri Malang. Dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, terdapat 293 responden yang mengisi kuesioner. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 3 orang yang terdiri dari 2 orang pengajar di Jurusan Akuntansi dan 1 orang ahli maqashid syariah Universitas Negeri Islam Malang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kode etik akuntan pendidik telah memenuhi konsep dari maqashid syariah dan dalam implementasi kode etik, akuntan pendidik, secara umum, telah melakukan konsep-konsep yang sesuai dengan konsep maqashid syariah.

This research was conducted to find out the reproductive disorders of postpartum and the effectiveness of its treatment in various nations of beef cattle. A total of 30 beef cattle raised in cattle groups in the D.I.Y. area was used as research samples. Cows are divided into three groups namely control group, iodine povidone infusion group, and antibiotic infusion group. First, second, and third months postpartum are performed clinical examination, blood collection, and rectovaginal examination. Haematological and clinical conditions in postpartum beef cattle have variations but most show a high profile of leukocytes in 1 st to 5th week. Povidone iodine infusion treatment in 1 st week postpartum can reduce bacterial infection until 5th week and can accelerate the uterine involution process during the recovery period.

Scientific data on the length of parturition stage, placental weight, and the number of placentomes in Ongole (PO), Simental Ongole (SimPO), Limosin and Ongole (LimPO) breeds in Yogyakarta Province are not yet known. This research aimed to study parturition stage, placental weight, and placentomes number on beef catlle in small holder farm. This research was carried out on small farmers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. There were 22 PO, 7 simpo, and 4 limpo cattle. The first study determined length stage of parturition. The second study determined the weight of the placenta and the number of placentomes. Data collected were analyzed descriptively. The results of first stage in PO, SimPO, and LimPO cattle were 73.7, 44.5, and 62. 9 hours. The duration of second stage in PO, SimPO, and LimPO cattles were 58.1, 78.7, and 24.5 minutes. The duration of third stage in PO, SimPO, and LimPO cattle were 4.3, 4.8, and 3.5 hours. The placenta weight in PO and SimPO cattle showed that the average of placenta weight was 4.1 and 3.6 Kg. The number of placentomes in PO, SimPO, dan LimPO cattle were 92.5, 92.8, and 102.6. This research showed that the average of stage I in PO was longer than SimPO and LimPO, stage II and stage III in SimPO was longer than PO and LimPO. In addition, the average of placenta weight in PO was heavier than SimPO and LimPO cows. The average number of placentomes in LimPO was higher than PO and SimPO cattle.

The reef manta ray Mobula alfredi is present throughout most island groups that form the Raja Ampat archipelago, Indonesia. The species is protected regionally and nationally and is currently managed as a single homogeneous population within the 6.7 million ha archipelago. However, scientific evidence is currently lacking regarding the spatial connectivity and population structure of M. alfredi within this archipelago. Using network analysis and an array of 34 acoustic receivers deployed throughout Raja Ampat between February 2016 and September 2021, we examined the movements of 72 subadult and adult M. alfredi tagged in seven regions of Raja Ampat. A total of 1094 M. alfredi movements were recorded and were primarily concentrated between nearby receiver stations, highlighting frequent local movements within, and limited long-distance movements between regional acoustic receiver arrays. Network analysis revealed highly connected nodes acting as hubs important for M. alfredi movements. A community detection algorithm further indicated clusters within the network. Our results suggest the existence of a metapopulation comprising three demographically and geographically distinct subpopulations within the archipelago. They also reveal the importance of Eagle Rock as a critical node in the M. alfredi movement network, justifying the urgent inclusion of this site within the Raja Ampat marine protected area network., Competing Interests: We declare we have no competing interests., (© 2024 The Authors.)
