Abstract

"Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan", the Self-Reliant India campaign of2020, was a clarion call by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the vision of a new India, kick-starting several independent initiatives across the five pillars, viz., Economy, Infrastructure, Systems, Demography and Demand1. The paper discusses one such technology-driven initiative called CollabFiles, envisaged and developed for use by government enterprises across the country. CollabFiles helps officials and staff of Government of India (GoI) to create and collaborate on documents and spreadsheets using web and mobile devices. Several innovative steps were taken to design this platform such as using principles of Enterprise Architecture (EA) to arrive at solution architecture, Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication ensuring secured access, interoperability with other government applications, secured storage at government cloud, a robust archival policy and a firm Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity (DR/BC) plan. It shares details of the pioneering approach to develop a sustainable platform, meeting the needs of government officials on a day-to-day basis. The paper gives the current status of implementation, defines critical success factors for effective roll-out, and also discusses how certain challenges were addressed. 7. Analyses of scalar potential and lepton flavor violating decays in a model with A4 symmetry

Abstract

We have considered a model, originally proposed by Ma and Wegman, where the mixing pattern in neutrino sector is explained with three Higgs doublets, six Higgs triplets and A4 symmetry. The mixing pattern is explained with the help of vacuum expectation values (VEVs) of the above mentioned doublets and triplets. In order to study about the VEVs of the scalar fields, we construct the full invariant scalar potential of this model. After minimizing this scalar potential, we have found that two Higgs triplets can acquire zero VEVs. In order to generate non-zero VEVs to all the six Higgs triplets, we have added two more Higgs doublets to the model. Thereafter we have demonstrated that the current neutrino oscillation data can be consistently explained in our model. To study some phenomenological implications of this model, we have worked out on the branching ratios for lepton flavor violating decays. © 2022

Abstract

WWW, one of the most pervasive technologies for information and service delivery over Internet with a potential to revise and preserve the web applications without dispensing and installing software on doubtlessly millions of client computers. As the web applications are increasingly used for crucial services, they have become a prominent and relevant target for any security outbreak. Software security is a methodology which guards against the malicious attacks and security failures along with an aim to increase system reliability. The prime objective of software security is to gain knowledge about the vulnerabilities in a system and foresee attacker’s motive and perception. This paper reviews the existing techniques of web application security, with the aim of standardizing them into a bigger picture to enable the future research areas. The scrutiny of a web application attack and the attack techniques are also enclosed in details. Lastly the parameters to provide a secure hosting surrounding to the applications are indexed. The paper summarizes the security of web application in a holistic manner and provides a range of ways to ensure that it’s as secure as it can be, as well as forever improving. 23. Renal function status in leprosy

Abstract

75 leprosy patients comprising of 47 males and 28 females ranging in age from 10 years to 75 years (mean 33.76 years) were studied. Duration of disease ranged from one month to 12 years. Thirty (40%) cases were in reaction. Renal involvement occurred in 53.66% of cases. 80% of type 2 reaction leprosy patients showed renal involvement as compared to 53% of type 1 reaction. 80% of leprosy cases with more than 3 years duration of disease showed renal involvement as compared to 46.6% of cases with less than 3 years duration of disease. 9% of cases showed reduction in one or both kidney size with loss of corticomedullary differentiation on USG.

30. Road boundary detection

Abstract

A method for extracting road boundaries using the monochrome image of a visual road scene is presented. The statistical information regarding the intensity levels present in the image along with some geometrical constraints concerning the road are the basics of this approach. Results and advantages of this technique compared to others are discussed. The major advantages of this technique, when compared to others, are its ability to process the image in only one pass, to limit the area searched in the image using only knowledge concerning the road geometry and previous boundary information, and dynamically adjust for inconsistencies in the located boundary information, all of which helps to increase the efficacy of this technique.
