The article builds up a model of study of behaviour of currency rates with the use of methods of fractality and interconnection between currency rates and factors of their formation, which allows obtaining adequate forecasting in the system of managing competitiveness of metallurgy enterprises and formation of efficient currency policy.В статье построены модели исследования поведения валютных курсов с использованием методов фрактальности и взаимосвязи между валютными курсами и факторами их формирования, что позволит получить адекватные прогнозы в системе управления конкурентоспособностью металлургических предприятий и сформировать эффективную валютную политику.

The model of the analysis of asymmetry of social and economic development of regions is offered in the article. Based on methods of the multivariate statistical analysis, the model allows to reveal sources of the disbalances of development of regions and to raise quality of administrative decisions that concerning choice of tools of state regulation of development of regions.В статье рассмотрена модель анализа асимметрии социально-экономического развития регионов (СЭРР), которая на основе методов многомерного статистического анализа позволяет выявить источники дисбалансов развития территорий и повысить качество управленческих решений относительно выбора инструментов государственного регулирования развития регионов.

Premature children without any clinical disability exhibit a cluster of visual-motor impairments relating to the maintenance of attention and visual-motor coordination. These defects persist into middle childhood. However, prematurity hardly affects the visual form perception in these children. A study on school-age children born at 27-32 gestational weeks reveals overall normal performance on pediatric screening tests. However, subjects take longer time to point to the missing arc on the display of an annulus, and often fail to find targets in a complex visual search task.

The thorough understanding of magnetic mineralogy is a prerequisite of any successful palaeomagnetic or archaeomagnetic study. Magnetic minerals in archaeological ceramics and baked clay may be inherited from the parent material or, more frequently, formed during the firing process. The resulting magnetic mineralogy may be complex, including ferrimagnetic phases not commonly encountered in rocks. Towards this end, we carried out a detailed rock magnetic study on a representative collection of archaeological ceramics (baked clay from combustion structures and bricks) from Bulgaria and Russia. Experiments included measurement of isothermal remanence acquisition and demagnetization as a function of temperature between 20 and >600 °C. For selected samples, low-temperature measurements of saturation remanence and initial magnetic susceptibility between 1.8 and 300 K have been carried out. All studied samples contain a magnetically soft mineral identified as maghemite probably substituted by Ti, Mn and/or Al. Stoichiometric magnetite has never been observed, as evidenced by the absence of the Verwey phase transition. In addition, one or two magnetically hard mineral phases have been detected, differing sharply in their respective unblocking temperatures. One of these unblocking between 540 and 620 °C is believed to be substituted hematite. Another phase unblocks at much lower temperatures, between 140 and 240 °C, and its magnetic properties correspond to an enigmatic high coercivity, stable, low-unblocking temperature (HCSLT) phase reported earlier. In a few samples, high- and low unblocking temperature, magnetically hard phases appear to coexist; in the others, the HCSLT phase is the only magnetically hard mineral present. Studies of psychological particularities and quality of life in breast cancer patients remain relevant as of today. Particularities of their coping with the difficult life situation have to be taken into account to improve quality of life in cancer patients and the probability of their convalescence and survival. The objective of this research is to find out the relationship between coping behavior strategies and quality of life as a predictive indicator of the favorable disease course in female breast cancer patients. As a result of the research conducted, the quality of life in women having the unfavorable course of the disease has been found to be significantly lower than that in female breast cancer patients in remission. Alongside this, associations between quality of life indicators with the following coping behavior strategies have been found: escape-avoidance, exercising self-control, accepting responsibility, seeking social support, distancing. The obtained results require attention on the part of social and psychological services and on the part of oncologists, because the overall quality of life indicator is related to the survival forecast and associated with coping behavior strategies.
