As an aspect of globalization, migration involves the movement of people from one nation or location to another. These types of movements are for several reasons, but culture becomes one critical aspect to consider. This is because different countries have different beliefs, norm systems, ways of working, food and religious systems. When these people come together, the natives are likely to learn more about the immigrant culture and vice versa. Therefore, this paper tries to consider the pros and cons that come with cultural globalization, basing the arguments on the migration aspect. It should be emphasized here that the globalization of forced migration, which has recently been particularly characteristic of the countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe towards the European Union, carries with it a risk for the countries of the European Union, but also a huge potential of intellect, culture and education. That type of mainly young intellectuals not only raise the economy in those countries but also modernize the multiculturalism and tradition that they bring with them. modern migrants a large percentage of the forced migration of several million people from Ukraine, then from the countries of the Western Balkans and of course from Africa. North Macedonia is not excluded from this trend, which as a multinational and multicultural community annually produces about 12,000 migrants, mainly in the countries of the European Union and a small part in the USA. Our research was conducted through the UNESCO office in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Statistics Office. Fluctuation on a daily and annual basis was the focus of our research, as was the affiliation of the fluctuating body. In this paper, an attempt is made to emphasize the progressiveness in learning English in conditions of pandemic crisis with the help of modern technologies, which undoubtedly in the past two years have played a crucial role in this educational process. The success of learning the English language with the application of modern technologies, in which the main place is occupied by distance learning with the use of electronic devices, depends on several other factors. The equipment of higher education institutions with modern technologies forms the basis of distance learning, but it is also very important that teachers and assistants are ready to be actively involved in the electronic learning system with direct assistance to students, whether they are in the classroom or out. The leading place in the study of English in the conditions of pandemic was the use of modern technological systems that enabled direct connection and interactivity of a large number of immediate users with a high degree of operability. Among them, the most common are: Google Classroom, Zoom, Schoology and Edmodo, The Moodle as well as Google Meet and WhatsApp. However, recent research conducted during 2021 shows that the most used platform internationally is WhatsApp. In decision making about which e-learning platform to be used the most influential factors were accessibility and affordability while the unstable network is the biggest obstacle to the use of platforms in online learning. Teaching and learning English as a foreign language is a regular practice and a world trend, because it is a lingua franca and has a wide application in many life domains. This trend is becoming more pronounced as a result of the application of new technologies in the study of English. The aim of this paper is to show the application of new technologies in the study of the English language with involved teachers from different universities in the Republic of North Macedonia and their comparison with some universities from abroad. Here we introduce the trend of a modern approach to learning English, which has gained a special foothold in the context of the pandemic as it has become necessary to apply new technologies and modern supporters of the new technological process such as different types of platforms. This paper presents the latest insights, opportunities and challenges in learning English in a regional epidemic crisis. New challenges in pandemic conditions have directly contributed to creativity in learning English and the opportunity to master modern technologies, including primarily educational platforms. Up-to-date experiences in teaching English as foreign language confirmed that more than 83% of educational institutions supported an online learning system while up to 93% use an online learning system in their institution to teach English. Multiculturalism in English language teaching is a global trend, both in the developed and in the developing countries, especially those that are out of the English-speaking area. This paper presents certain contemporary trends on multiculturalism in the student environment. It is important for diverse English language learners (ELLs) to feel heard and understood in their classrooms. The findings indicate that schools that implement rich multicultural education in their classrooms positively benefit ELL students psychologically, socially, and academically. Multicultural education has one important message to give to all the students it serves, and it is that regardless of their differences in gender, social class, ethnicity, race, etc., they all deserve an equal opportunity to attain an equal education. Different approaches in the multicultural English teaching classes, the conditions in the multicultural study of the English language and the possible redesign of the multicultural curriculum in the study of the English language are basic for the correct interpretation and practice of multiculturalism in the study of the English language. This paper presents the results of research and studies on the level and extent of parental influence on the development of the general learning process in their children, as well as the role of parents in English language learning in particular, including contemporary trends in English language learning, including and applying modern knowledge in students' learning and progress. Parents play a critical role in a child's English language development. Numerous studies have shown that children who are read to and spoken with a great deal during childhood will have larger vocabularies and better grammar than those who aren't. Some ways that proved useful into child's language development were narration since the earliest age and evolving through the process, reading to your child since the amount of time parents spend reading with their child is fine predictor of their future reading success. Also, parents and their kids should enjoy the music together since young children love music and movements as they will learn about the world around them and the rhythm of the language. We as parents should not forget to tell our kids elaborate stories with characters, conflict, adventure, and a happy ending. As parents we should never criticize our child's articulation or English language speech patterns and instead we should repeat his statements back to him with the correct pronunciation or word usage. Television and computers should be used only sparingly although some educational programs can be beneficial to kids, TV shows don't interact with or respond to children as parents do. Instead of starring into TV or computer monitor organize them a trip to the zoo, the aquarium, or a children's museum, which will open up a whole new world for your child. Learning the names in English language of all those fascinating creatures and fun activities they experienced would be very beneficial for them. This is very important direction if we are aware of the fact that despite the importance of supporting vocabulary growth in the early childhood period, especially for children with risk factors such as poverty, language delay etc., intentional vocabulary instruction is missing from a lot of school curricula. Educational support with rich vocabulary exposure has been shown to be one of the most effective means for enhancing word learning in young children. In addition, as these children begin to master second language they will have better and more solid starting ground in second language (English) classrooms to promote vocabulary acquisition.
