Smartphones ,Sensores ,Sensors - Abstract
[EN] In today's digital society, smartphones are a fundamental technological tool in our daily work; and not just as a means of communication. We also wake up with our mobile phones, we check our mail, we examine WhatsApp, we attend social networks, we listen to music, we examine the agenda, we read the news, etc. In short, the mobile has become a fundamental element in our lives; and much more among the youth. Thus, to the extent that we can introduce the mobile in the classroom, always in a controlled way, the students will feel much more comfortable, allowing the teaching-learning process to be much more attractive and, therefore, more profitable. The simulation of physical processes through virtual laboratories would be a way of integrating these devices in the classroom. As we will see below, the students' own smartphones can also be used as a measuring instrument in real laboratory practices (outside the virtual world) thanks to sensors that these devices have integrated., [ES] En la sociedad digital actual, los smartphones o teléfonos inteligentes son una herramienta tecnológica fundamental en nuestro quehacer diario; y no solo como medio de comunicación.

PSYCHOMETRICS ,CONFIRMATORY factor analysis ,CULTURAL prejudices ,OLDER people ,STANDARD deviations - Abstract
The Test of Practical Judgment (TOP-J) is increasingly used by neuropsychologists to measure everyday judgment ability in older adulthood. In the present study, we developed an alternate TOP-J Form B, which may be used to reduce practice effects for repeat assessment situations or in place of the original Form A. In developing the measure, special attention was given to limiting cultural bias and making items similar in content and difficulty to Form A. The TOP-J Form B was piloted in a clinical geriatric sample (N = 77) in the Midwestern U.S. Subsequently, older adults (N = 130) were recruited from several boroughs of New York City and surrounding areas (mean age = 77; mean years of education = 16; 69% female; 28% Black/African-American, 11% Hispanic). In this validation sample, both the 9-item and 15-item versions of the TOP-J Form B showed strong psychometric properties, including good unidimensional model fit in confirmatory factor analysis, preliminary convergent/divergent and criterion validity evidence, and strong inter-rater reliability, ICC (2, 1) =.93. The means and standard deviations for the TOP-J Form A and Form B were highly similar, particularly for the 9-item forms in which there was less than a one-point mean difference. Preliminary normative data for cognitively intact participants (n = 73) were established. We present means and standard deviations that will allow for the calculation of z scores as Form B scores were normally distributed. The newly developed TOP-J Form B should be useful in diverse clinical and research settings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This master's thesis is a study of the action of the Primera Linea (Front Line) in the context of the social outbreak that began as student protests against the increase in subway fares in Chile. On October 18, 2019, there were massive, organized demonstrations of student protesters inside the Santiago metro which resulted in various incidents from dodging fares to widespread vandalism, and eventually metro stations burnt down1. When the government reacted with violence and repression, the citizens responded with massive demonstrations in the capital, and the Chilean social movement was born (which has proved to be a tipping point in Chilean history). The protest resulted in large marches, looting of supermarkets, fires, and violent clashes with the police. International organizations have denounced the actions of the Chilean police, accusing them of ”serious violations of human rights”2. This study examines the emergence of the Primera Línea in the context of the social uprising starting on October 18, 2019. Members of The Primera Línea are the people that participate in the direct and violent confrontation with the police forces in the protests against the government. This thesis uses qualitative research that starts with case studies based upon the interviews of participants of the Primera Línea and proceeds to use observational analysis of the situations experienced on the ground. Thus, participant observation and oral testimonies are the main sources used to study the action of the Primera Línea. These events were observed in the field during the massive demonstrations that took place in Santiago between 2019-2021. These observations combined with the personal testimonies of the interviewees are the main foundation for this analysis. The research shows how they are organized and what forms of protest they have, that is, what happens during a protest event, and how the violent clashes between the Primera Linea and the police forces occur. The non-hierarchical relationships within the Primera Línea and the roles that are then assumed are also explored. We have also identified who the actors are that make up the Primera Línea, their historical evolution, why they participate in the la Primera Línea, and how they interpret that participation.

Pressure ulcers are defined as ulcers that occur when the skin is loaded with a sustained pressure that prevents oxygen and nutrients from reaching the cells. It is a common problem that affects patients with limited mobility due to illness and/or treatment. The role of nurses in the preventive work of pressure ulcers is to continuously assess risks and take measures, for this, knowledge and a positive attitude is required. The purpose of this paper is to shed light on nurses' knowledge and attitudes to the prevention of pressure ulcers. A literature review was performed according to Friberg's method, eleven quantitative scientific articles were chosen when the authors of this paper judged that these answered the purpose of the study. These articles were analyzed, compared and categorized into different headings and sub-headings presented in the results. The databases PubMed, Nurse & Allied Health Database and Cinahl Complete were used. The results identified two different main headings: Knowledge and Attitude towards prevention of pressure ulcers, under these headings also received subheadings. The studies showed varied knowledge levels and attitude towards pressure ulcer and pressure ulcer prevention. To limit the development of pressure ulcers requires knowledgeable and positive nurses, they are an important part of an interprofessional team that works together towards the same goal: alleviate the patient’s suffering, ensure safe patientcare and reduce costs of health care.
