The researcher used a Qualitative approach, specifically phenomenological design, and used a semi-structured interview to gather in-depth data about the worker's perspective and experiences. Also used thematic analysis to organize and identify the theme that will come out. The study establishes the two main reasons why blue-collar workers stay in their jobs and these are to sustain the family needs and attain job satisfaction. The workers also added that they are motivated and determined to work hard to be the provider for the family and are satisfied with their jobs. Achieving job satisfaction by the workers has a reason behind it, it is having a good relationship with workmates and equal salary. In addition, the research showed that some blue-collar workers want to manage their businesses to generate income for their retirement, investing whatever they have saved from their work. For future researchers, reconducting this research on a larger population and wider area will supply a broader perspective of the workers, this will help the succeeding researchers to provide new information at a more modern and faster pace. Parental involvement is one of the primary factors that affect children's development and individuality. However, its effect on the academic motivation and self-concept of college students is not well understood, especially in the Philippines. The present study used the Ecological systems theory by Bronfenbrenner to investigate the effect of varying parental involvement on the academic motivation and self-concept of college students at Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College. Purposive sampling was used among 198 college students from Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College who were identified using a purposive sampling technique. Statistical instruments including descriptive, correlation, and regression analysis were used to examine the data collected and investigate the link between the variables. Based on the regression analysis, it was found that parental involvement only has a significant relationship with academic motivation and not with self-concept. In conclusion, college students have a sense of independence and their selfconcept is not affected by parental involvement; nonetheless, parents providing essential support influence their academic motivation. This study focused on the experiences of LGBT youth. In order to determine the difficulties LGBT youth in private and public schools encounter, this study focused on the phenomenological LGBT youth experience in an educational institution. Semi-structured interviews and participant observations are methods used to gather the data in order to determine the diverse emotional, social, and intellectual factors that impact their daily lives. The sample consists of 4 lesbians, 4 gays, 4 bisexuals, and 4 transgenders, for a total of 16 participants. The study emphasizes the significance of inclusive educational practices by demonstrating the important effects that institutional policies, peer relationships, and social norms have on the academic achievement and overall well-being of young LGBT people. The findings of this study can be used as a starting point for creating a strategy for implementation that will support the experiences that educational institutions have with LGBT students. The ultimate goal of the study is to support LGBT youth's general growth and well-being by valuing and embracing their diverse experiences while providing a welcoming and supportive learning environment for everyone. The stronger the attachment to pets, the higher the separation pain felt after pet loss. The researchers conducted a study in Quezon City to investigate the relationship between attachment styles and cognitive emotion regulation strategies in elderly pet owners. The study aimed to provide valuable insights for pet and non-pet owners, potentially serving as a future basis for understanding attachment styles and cognitive-emotional regulation strategies. A mixed method was conducted to gather data on 37 elderly pet owners who have experienced pet loss. The analysis revealed that there is no significant relationship between attachment styles and cognitive-emotion regulation strategies among elderly pet owners in Quezon City. Attachment styles do not significantly influence the coping mechanisms of elderly pet owners, and cognitive emotion regulation strategies may operate independently. Aging can also affect cognitive functions and neurological processes, and societal, cultural, and resilience factors may also influence emotion regulation. Given that the study did not find a relationship between attachment styles and cognitive emotion regulation strategies, future researchers may consider exploring other factors that might influence these processes. Mental health pertains to an individual's cognitive, emotional, and social well-being. It encompasses the intricate interplay between thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and interactions within the context of one's life. The study investigates the impact of Mental Health Literacy on Senior High School students' attitudes towards seeking counseling. The research involved 200 students aged 15-20 from Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College, selected using purposive sampling. The Mental Health Literacy Scale selecting 20 targeted questions from the scale from the 35 items original questionnaire and the revised Attitudes Toward Seeking Professional Psychological Help scale featuring 10 questions that evaluate individuals' general inclinations towards seeking professional counseling for psychological concerns were used. The data was analyzed using Regression Analysis. The study's results reveal a statistically significant regression model (F = 49.760, p < .001), affirming that Mental Health Literacy serves as a significant predictor of Attitude Towards Seeking Counseling. The substantial F-statistic dismisses the possibility of a chance relationship, emphasizing a genuine connection between the variables. Notably, the positive coefficient of .424 (p < .001) implies that a one-unit increase in Mental Health Literacy corresponds to a .424-unit increase in Attitude Towards Seeking Counseling, with the standardized coefficient (Beta = .448) highlighting a moderate influence of Mental Health Literacy on Attitude Towards Seeking Counseling. Overall, the study shows that it is equally significant is the overwhelmingly positive and open attitude these students held towards seeking counseling services, underscoring their willingness to access professional mental health support. The positive attitude towards seeking counseling may be attributed to increased awareness campaigns, educational programs, and societal efforts. Turnover intentions should be seriously viewed by top management as it corresponds to actual action or decision of leaving the job. Employees' loss has detrimental effect on the performance and lucrativeness of the organization. If employees are satisfied with their quality of work life, turnover intentions can be prevented. Thus, this study was conducted to determine through a quantitative research design whether the quality of work life factors (development, participation, compensation, supervision, and working environment) has a negative impact on turnover intentions of employees in a select private Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the Philippines. Purposive sampling was utilized among 152 teaching and non-teaching employees who accomplished the questionnaire which includes the quality of work life factors scale and Turnover Intention Scale (TIS-6). Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Findings revealed that quality of work life significantly predicts turnover intentions; however, it was found out that among the five factors, only development, compensation, and working environment were significant with turnover intentions. In addition, only compensation and work environment negatively predicted turnover intentions, while in contrast, development positively predicted turnover intentions of employees. In conclusion, when employees believe they are underpaid and work in a hazardous and unpleasant workplace, they are more likely to want to leave. The implications could provide information to management and the human resource department, allowing them to focus on key aspects that could minimize the institution's employee turnover rate. Finally, in order to reduce employee turnover, it is suggested that the institution focus on developing and implementing compensation and work environment policies and programs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
