This paper examines the low-sulfur gas deposit GKF Uchkyr, which has been preserved for an extended period due to the absence of sulfur removal facilities. The findings regarding the reasons for surpassing or falling behind the actual and projected development indicators are outlined. Additionally, the results of geological and geophysical studies, along with the factors contributing to the insufficient volume of research, are presented. To organize control over the development of a gas field, the correct choice of parameters characterizing the state of the deposit during its development is important. In this case, must be observed conditions that ensure systematic monitoring of changes in selected parameters and assessment of measurement error. These parameters are: reservoir pressure in the gas and aquifer parts of the deposit, gas saturation coefficient of the developed formation, ion-salt composition of the water produced by gas wells. Considering the information above, recommendations are provided to facilitate timely monitoring of changes in technological development indicators and to enhance the efficient extraction of hydrocarbons from the productive horizons of the GKF Uchkyr deposit.

Effects of Americium-241 (Am), alpha-emitting radionuclide of high specific radioactivity, and tritium (H), beta-emitting radionuclide, on luminous bacteria Photobacterium phosphoreum were compared. Bioluminescence intensity served as a marker of bacterial physiological activity. Three successive stages in the bioluminescence response to Am and H were found under conditions of lowdose irradiation: (1) absence of effects, (2) activation, and (3) inhibition. They were interpreted in terms of bacterial response to stressfactor as stress recognition, adaptive response/syndrome, and suppression of physiological function ( i.e. radiation toxicity). Times of bioluminescence activation (TBA) and inhibition (TBI) were suggested as parameters to characterize hormesis and toxic stages in a course of chronic low-dose irradiation of the microorganisms. Values of TBA and TBI of Am were shorter than those of H, revealing higher impact of alpha-irradiation (as compared to beta-irradiation) under comparable radiation doses. Increases of peroxide concentration and NADH oxidation rates in Am aquatic solutions were demonstrated; these were not found in tritiated water. The results reveal a biological role of reactive oxygen species generated in water solutions as secondary products of the radioactive decay. The study provides a scientific basis for elaboration of bioluminescence-based assay to monitor radiotoxicity of alpha- and beta-emitting radionuclides in aquatic solutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The modern development of the food industry is accompanied by an increasing use of automated process control systems. The widespread use of automated control systems is caused by a significant economic effect, which is achieved by ensuring the specified qualities of the products produced regardless of subjective factors, reducing the loss of valuable products, reducing the labor intensity of production processes, and increasing the culture of production. The article presents a scheme of automation and energy saving of the technological process of production of functional beverages based on direct-pressed grape juice with increased nutritional and biological value due to the inclusion of feijoa and blackberry extracts in their composition. Monitoring of the technological process was carried out using a multi-channel stand. The main parameters of monitoring were the consumption of basic and auxiliary products; the temperature of pasteurization and cooling of direct-pressed juice and extracts from fruit and berry raw materials; the level of pulp and product in the tanks. The obtained experimental data and developed technological methods allowed us to offer an effective energy-saving technology for the production of high-quality functional beverages in the conditions of energy-saving management of the production process. To implement the proposed technology, a hardware and technological scheme for the production of functional beverages has been developed. Process monitoring allows you to reduce energy consumption by up to 30% by using modern automation and control tools.

Studies on the influence of biologically active substances with immunomodulatory properties on the productivity of greenhouse cucumber were conducted in the winter-spring turnover of the sixth light zone in 2019-2020. The paper analyzes data on the prevalence of major diseases in cucumber plantings, the intensity of respiration and photosynthesis in plants, the level of yield and yielding of standard crop products, depending on the use of immunomodulating substances against the background of the main nutrition scheme. As a result of scientific research, it was found that the use of immunomodulators (arachidonic acid, hydroxycinnamic acids, triterpenic acids, salicylic acid) in the technology of cucumber cultivation activated the protective properties of plants against pathogens, contributed to the activation of the intensity of respiration, photosynthesis, obtaining an increased yields and the output of standard products.

The subject of research in the article is the transformation of labor and labor relations in modern insurance. This transformation is due to the transition to a new technological structure based on digitalization, as well as comprehensive informatization of all aspects of public life. The hypothesis that served as the impetus for writing this article is the provision that modern digitalization, unlike its previous automation and informatization, does not aim at increasing the productivity of human labor, but at completely eliminating a person from the production process. In the course of work on the article, the authors used materials from the largest recruiting agency HeadHunter, and also conducted their own research in the form of a survey of insurance market specialists on the issues of transforming labor relations and the demand for new competencies. As a result, it is shown that significant transformations occur both in the content of labor processes and in the competencies that employees should possess. The changes that are taking place impose new requirements on the quality of human capital, a new paradigm of human capital management is being approved, in which the employee is considered not only as an object, but also as an independent subject of management. The transformation of the basic factors (economic, technological, social) of labor relations in insurance is considered.

The purpose of the research is to study the effect of biologically active substances in organic fertilizers on the productivity of tomato Sherami F1 in a winter greenhouse. The production experience was laid in a winter glazed greenhouse, which is located in the sixth light zone.The objects of research were cherry tomato plants Sherami F1, organic fertilizers 5AP, Maxifol Rutfarm, Nutrimir 4-4-10, Quick-Link. In the experiment, the average plant growth per week, the height of the plants, the number of leaves, the number of brushes collected and the average weight of the fetus, the chemical composition of the plants and yield were determined. The largest growth in a week and the tallest plants were obtained with Quick-Link; the most brushes collected and the largest fruits - when applying fertilizer 5AP. The use of organic fertilizers contributed to the better absorption of macronutrients by tomato plants from a nutrient solution: the content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the leaves and fruits increased relative to the control. When using biologically active substances in organomineral fertilizers, tomato productivity increased by 1.1-2.7 kg/m2 compared to the control, and the biochemical composition of the fruits improved.

The research purpose is to develop proposals for improving the quality of education in the field of innovative financial technologies.Methods. The following methods were used in the research: theoretical methods, including review and analytical study, comparison and generalization methods, as well as empirical methods, such as expert assessments (questionnaire survey), and statistical methods (statistical observation). Conclusion. Analyzing the respondents’ assessment, the data were obtained that allowed revealing that in practice, the development of the labor market associated with digitalization faced certain problems. In particular, it was revealed that, despite the potential value of improving the quality of education in the field of financial technologies, increasing the level of knowledge and competencies, there was a problem associated with reducing jobs, which in turn increased an opportunity for developing the labor market. Based on the results obtained, conclusions were formulated demonstrating the relationship between the quality of training of labor forces and innovative changes in the economy within the educational process and educational programs.

Vegetable raw materials serve as a source of a large number of organic compounds of various structures with a variety of preventive and curative nutritional properties. The article presents the results of a study on the establishment of parameters and modes of extraction of biologically active substances from fruit and berry raw materials in order to obtain extracts for the preparation of functional beverages. The work was carried out on the basis of the educational and scientific laboratory of technology of winemaking and food from vegetable raw materials of the Stavropol State Agrarian University according to generally accepted methods in accordance with GOST (State standards). When preparing the extracts, water treatment of the crushed mass of feijoa and blackberries was used. The extraction process was controlled by changing the mass fraction of dry substances. As a result of the research, the optimal conditions for the process of extracting dry substances from feijoa and blackberries were established: hydromodule – 1:1, the duration of the process – 24 hours; the extraction temperature is 25 degrees C. Such conditions of the process provided the greatest extraction of dry substances without destroying the functional ingredients, allowed the extraction to be carried out within a short period of time and reduced the cost of temperature treatment of the medium. The paper presents the results of tasting evaluation of the obtained extracts.

Applying evidence-based medicine prevents medical errors highlighting the need for applying Clinical Guidelines (CGs) to improve patient care by nurses. However, nurses often face challenges in utilizing CGs due to patient-specific needs. Developing a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) can provide real-time context-sensitive CG-based recommendations. Therefore, there is a need to acquire and represent CGs in a machine-applicable manner. Also, there is a need to be able to provide recommendations episodically, only when requested, and not continuously, and to assess previous partial performance of evidence-based actions on a continuous scale. This study evaluated the feasibility of acquiring and representing major nursing CGs, in a machine-applicable manner for episodic use. Using data from an Israeli geriatric center, the results suggest that an episodic CDSS effectively supports the application of formalized nursing knowledge.

Medical errors contribute significantly to morbidity and mortality, emphasizing the critical role of Clinical Guidelines (GLs) in patient care. Automating GL application can enhance GL adherence, improve patient outcomes, and reduce costs. However, several barriers exist to GL implementation and real-time automated support. Challenges include creating a formalized, machine-comprehensible GL representation, and an episodic decision-support system for sporadic treatment advice. This system must accommodate the non-continuous nature of care delivery, including partial actions or partially met treatment goals. We describe the design and implementation of an episodic GL-based clinical decision support system and its retrospective technical evaluation using patient records from a geriatric center. Initial evaluation scores of the e-Picard system were promising, with a mean 94% correctness and 90% completeness based on 50 random pressure ulcer patients. Errors were mainly due to knowledge specification, algorithmic issues, and missing data. Post-corrections, scores improved to 100% correctness and a mean 97% completeness, with missing data still affecting completeness. The results validate the system's capability to assess guideline adherence and provide quality recommendations. Despite initial limitations, we have demonstrated the feasibility of providing, through the e-Picard episodic algorithm, realistic medical decision-making support for noncontinuous, intermittent consultations.

Background: The increasing aging population presents a significant challenge, accompanied by a shortage of professional caregivers, adding to the therapeutic burden. Clinical decision support systems, utilizing computerized clinical guidelines, can improve healthcare quality, reduce expenses, save time, and boost caregiver efficiency., Objectives: 1) Develop and evaluate an automated quality assessment (QA) system for retrospective longitudinal care quality analysis, focusing on clinical staff adherence to evidence-based guidelines (GLs). 2) Assess the system's technical feasibility and functional capability for senior nurse use in geriatric pressure-ulcer management., Methods: A computational QA system using our Quality Assessment Temporal Patterns (QATP) methodology was designed and implemented. Our methodology transforms the GL's procedural-knowledge into declarative-knowledge temporal-abstraction patterns representing the expected execution trace in the patient's data for correct therapy application. Fuzzy temporal logic allows for partial compliance, reflecting individual and grouped action performance considering their values and temporal aspects. The system was tested using a pressure ulcer treatment GL and data from 100 geriatric patients' Electronic Medical Records (EMR). After technical evaluation for accuracy and feasibility, an extensive functional evaluation was conducted by an experienced nurse, comparing QA scores with and without system support, and versus automated system scores. Time efficiency was also measured., Results: QA scores from the geriatric nurse, with and without system's support, did not significantly differ from those provided by the automated system (p < 0.05), demonstrating the effectiveness and reliability of both manual and automated methods. The system-supported manual QA process reduced scoring time by approximately two-thirds, from an average of 17.3 min per patient manually to about 5.9 min with the system's assistance, highlighting the system's efficiency potential in clinical practice., Conclusion: The QA system based on QATP, produces scores consistent with an experienced nurse's assessment for complex care over extended periods. It enables quick and accurate quality care evaluation for multiple patients after brief training. Polydiacetylenes are well-established one-dimensional organic semiconductors that have been generated by photochemical and thermal polymerizations of diacetylenes in single crystals, gel phases, thin films, and membranes. Their formation in mesophases, such as liquid crystals, has been surprisingly little studied although higher-ordered mesophases should support the topochemical polymerization of diacetylenes (1,3-butadiyne groups) and may give access to large domains of uniformly aligned materials. The polymerization of diacetylenes in a mesophase may also increase the stability of the self-assembled supramolecular structure. Here, the dye and discotic mesogen tetraazaporphyrin was decorated with eight diacetylene-containing alkyl chains to probe its mesomorphism and conversion into multifunctional polydiacetylene materials. While the incorporation of diacetylene groups supports columnar mesomorphism, successful photopolymerization required the presence of directing amide groups that suppressed columnar in favor of nematic mesomorphism. Still, the polymerization of the nematic mesophase generated a soluble nematic polydiacetylene of significantly higher molecular weight ( M n = 77 kDa or 25 monomer units by gel permeation chromatography) than what has been obtained in gel phases of related compounds. The formation of polydiacetylene was confirmed by Raman spectroscopy, and its nematic structure was verified by UV-vis spectroscopy, polarized optical microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. Both its nematic structure and the incorporation of eight side chains per discotic unit provide the polydiacetylene with sufficient solubility for casting thin films on substrates. Atomic force microscopy studies of films on silicon wafers revealed a grid-like structure of connected nanofibers. This study demonstrates the requirements for the formation of multifunctional mesomorphic polydiacetylene materials from mesomorphic precursors and their advantages. Optimization of the presented molecular design should give access to other mesophases and, consequently, functional polydiacetylene materials with tunable structures and optoelectronic properties.

Organic bulk heterojunction solar cells are promising candidates as future photovoltaic technologies for large-scale and low-cost energy production. It is, therefore, not surprising that research on the design and preparation of these types of organic photovoltaics has attracted a lot of attention since the last two decades, leading to constantly growing values of energy conversion and efficiency. Combined with the possibility of a large-scale production via roll-to-roll printing techniques, bulk heterojunction solar cells enable the fabrication of conformable, light-weight and flexible light-harvesting devices for point-of-use applications. This perspective review will highlight the recent advances toward mechanically robust and intrinsically stretchable bulk heterojunction solar cells. Mechanically robust fullerene-based and all-polymer devices will be presented, as well as a comprehensive overview of the recent challenges and characterization techniques recently developed to overcome some of the challenges of this research area, which is still in its infancy., (© 2019 The Chemical Society of Japan & Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. A new strategy for influencing the solid-state morphology of conjugated polymers was developed through physical blending with a low-molecular-weight branched polyethylene. This nontoxic and low-boiling-point additive was blended with a high-charge-mobility diketopyrrolopyrrole-based conjugated polymer, and a detailed investigation of the new blended materials was performed by various characterization tools, including X-ray diffraction, UV-vis spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy. Interestingly, the branched additive was shown to reduce the crystallinity of the conjugated polymer while promoting aggregation and phase separation in the solid state. Upon thermal removal of the olefinic additive, the thin films maintained a lower crystallinity and aggregated morphology in comparison to a nonblended polymer. The semiconducting performance of the new branched polyethylene/conjugated polymer blends was also investigated in organic field-effect transistors, which showed a stable charge mobility of around 0.3 cm 2 V -1 s -1 without thermal annealing, independent of the blending ratio. Furthermore, using the new polyethylene-based additive, the concentration of a conjugated polymer required for the fabrication of organic field-effect transistor devices was reduced down to 0.05 wt %, without affecting charge transport, which represents a significant improvement compared to usual concentrations used for solution deposition. Our results demonstrate that the physical blending of a conjugated polymer with nontoxic, low-molecular-weight branched polyethylene is a promising strategy for the modification and fine-tuning of the solid-state morphology of conjugated polymers without sacrificing their charge-transport properties, thus creating new opportunities for the large-scale processing of organic semiconductors.
