Abstract

Lange Zeit stiegen die Kandidierenden der Grünen so gut wie chancenlos ins Rennen um einen Sitz im Ständerat. Erst bei den eidgenössischen Wahlen 2007 gelang der Einzug in die kleine Kammer, als in Genf und in der Waadt je ein grüner Kandidat gewählt wurde. Der grosse Durchbruch kam 2019, als die violett-grüne Welle auch vor dem Stöckli nicht Halt machte. Fünf Ständeratssitze gingen an die Grünen, vier davon an Frauen. Doch nicht nur im Ständerat sind die Grünen über die Zeit stärker geworden. Sie regieren auch in sieben Kantonen sowie in den meisten der grossen Schweizer Städte mit. Gemeinsam ist den Regierungsmitgliedern und Standesvertretungen, dass sie ihre Wahl in der Regel in einem Mehrheitssystem bestehen müssen. Ob, wann und wie Kandidierende der Grünen bei Majorzwahlen erfolgreich ins Ziel kommen, dem geht das folgende Kapitel nach.

Abstract

Die Grüne Partei der Schweiz (GPS) ist heute, nach vierzig Jahren Bestehen, in der Schweizer Parteienlandschaft eine feste Grösse. Sie erreichte bei den letzten nationalen Wahlen 2019 13 Prozent Stimmenanteil, ist in allen Sprachregionen präsent, regiert in zahlreichen Städten und Kantonen mit und vertritt fünf Kantone im Ständerat. Als sich im Mai 1983 fünf ökologische Gruppierungen zur «Föderation der grünen Parteien der Schweiz» zusammenschlossen, war dies der erste Schritt zur heutigen GPS. Für die Weiterentwicklung war der Beitritt der linksalternativen Grünen Anfang der Neunzigerjahre wichtig, da dadurch ihr soziales, pazifistisches und feministisches Profil verstärkt wurde. Während die Grüne Partei Schweiz zunehmend in Konkurrenz zur Sozialdemokratischen Partei (SP) trat, erwuchs ihr und der SP in der zweiten Hälfte der Nullerjahre Konkurrenz durch die eher bürgerlich positionierten Grünliberalen (GLP). Im vorliegenden Sammelband beleuchten 18 Autor:innen die GPS in all ihren Facetten. Untersucht werden ihre Geschichte und das Profil ihrer Wähler:innen, ihr intensiver Gebrauch der direktdemokratischen Instrumente oder das Stimmverhalten der Grünen im Nationalrat. Ein Vergleich mit den anderen Grünen in Europa zeigt, dass die GPS besonders wählerstark ist und sich ausgesprochen links positioniert.

Abstract

This paper describes a facile way to prepare a photophysically inert sensor substrate. Stannic oxide encapsulated silica nanoparticles with average diameters between 30 and 70 nm have been prepared by one-pot reverse-phase emulsion methodology. The constituents and core/shell morphology of the nanoparticles were demonstrated by electron microscopic technology, energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction was employed to provide additional constitutional and structural information. It has been shown that nanoparticles prepared by this method are optically clear in suspension. After anchoring optical indicators, this nanoparticle can be utilized as a sensor module both in biology and other analytical areas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
