A special session at eeFACT’22 reviewed the electrical power budgets and luminosity risks for eight proposed future Higgs and electroweak factories (CCC, CEPC, CERC, CLIC, FCC-ee, HELEN, ILC, and RELIC) and, in comparison, for a lepton-hadron collider (EIC) presently under construction. Future e⁺e⁻ colliders will need positron sources that stretch present technical capabilities. The project teams for these proposed colliders are working to extend these capabilities. A positron source encompasses many elements: an electron driver, production target, lattice optics, capture section, damping ring(s), injection/extraction short-pulse kickers, an emittance preserving complex delivery system, specific injection specifications, and (perhaps) polarization. The required technical parameters need to accommodate many beam aspects including bunch intensities, final emittances, spacings, train lengths, and desired damping times. This document discusses the machine parameters and expected luminosity performance for the proposed future circular lepton collider FCC-ee. Particular emphasis is put on availability, physics run time, and efficiency. The schemes for full-energy top-up injection into an e⁺e⁻ collider will be discussed emphasizing technical issues to be accommodated. The issues include energy stability, energy spread control, transverse emittance reduction, transverse position and angle stability, collimation, background control in the detector, detector blanking of event triggers, and bunch filling strategies. Future e⁺e⁻ colliders will operate with many bunches, short bunch lengths, small emittances, high currents, and small interaction point betas. The stability of the colliding beams with these characteristics will depend on detailed, high precision, and continuous measurements. In order to maintain an optimum beam collision condition in a double ring collider such as SuperKEKB it is essential to have an orbit feedback system at the interaction point (IP). We have designed such a system based on experiences at KEKB and PEP-II. For the vertical offset and crossing angle, we will rely on the system based on the beam orbit measurement similar to that used at KEKB. For the horizontal offset, however, we will utilize the dithering system which was successfully used at PEP-II, because the horizontal beam-beam kick is very weak with the "nano-beam scheme". The SuperB project is an international effort aiming at building in Italy a very high luminosity e⁺e⁻ (10³⁶ cm⁻² sec⁻¹) asymmetric collider at the B mesons cm energy. The accelerator design has been extensively studied and changed during the past year. The present design, - based on the new collision scheme, with large Piwinski angle and the use of ’crab’ sextupoles, which has been successfully tested at the DAΦNE Phi-Factory at LNF Frascati, - provides larger flexibility, better dynamic aperture and in the Low Energy Ring spin manipulation sections, needed for having longitudinal polarization of the electron beam at the Interaction Point. The Interaction Region has been further optimized in terms of apertures and reduced backgrounds in the detector. The injector complex design has been also updated. The ultra high luminosity B-factory (SuperB) project of INFN requires a high performance and reliable injection system, providing electrons at 4 GeV and positrons at 7 GeV, to fulfill the very tight requirements of the collider. Due to the short beam lifetime, continuous injection of electrons and positrons in both HER and LER rings is necessary to keep the average luminosity at a high level. Polarized electrons are required for experiments and must be delivered by the injection system, due to the beam lifetime shorter than the polarization build-up: they will be produced by means of a SLAC-SLC polarized gun. One or two 1 GeV damping rings are used to reduce e⁺ and e⁻ emittances. Two schemes for positron production are under study, one with electron-positron conversion at low energy (1 Gev), the second at 6 GeV with a recirculation line to bring the positrons back to the damping ring. Acceleration through the Linac is provided by a S-band RF system made of traveling wave, room temperature accelerating structures. The Su­perB pro­ject aims at the con­struc­tion of an asym­met­ric (4x7 GeV), very high lu­mi­nos­i­ty, B-Fac­to­ry on the Roma II (Italy) Uni­ver­si­ty cam­pus. The lu­mi­nos­i­ty goal of 1036 cm-2 s-1 can be reached with a new col­li­sion scheme with large Pi­win­s­ki angle and the use of “crab” sex­tupoles. A crab-waist IR has been suc­cess­ful­ly test­ed at the DAPHNE Phi-Fac­to­ry at LNF-Fras­cati (Italy) in 2008. The crab waist to­geth­er with very low beta* will allow for op­er­a­tion with rel­a­tive­ly low beam cur­rents and rea­son­able bunch length, com­pa­ra­ble to those of PEP-II and KEKB. In the High En­er­gy Ring, two spin ro­ta­tors per­mit bring­ing lon­gi­tu­di­nal­ly po­lar­ized beams into col­li­sion at the IP. The lat­tice has been de­signed with a very low in­trin­sic emit­tance and is quite com­pact, less than 2 km long. The tight fo­cus­ing re­quires a so­phis­ti­cat­ed In­ter­ac­tion Re­gion with quadrupoles very close to the IP. A Con­cep­tu­al De­sign Re­port was pub­lished in March 2007, and beam dy­nam­ics and col­lec­tive ef­fects R&D stud­ies are in progress in order to pub­lish a Tech­ni­cal De­sign Re­port by the end of 2010. A sta­tus of the de­sign and sim­u­la­tions is pre­sent­ed in this paper.
