This article discusses a study that examined the relationship between tooth loss and cardiovascular diseases. The study found a strong association between the number of lost teeth and heart valve diseases and cardiomyopathy. However, no significant associations were found for other cardiovascular diseases. The study also explored the impact of demographic factors on tooth loss and found that age, gender, and rural/urban residence were related to the number of lost teeth. The findings suggest that tooth loss may be a predictor of certain cardiovascular diseases, but more research is needed to fully understand the relationship. Additionally, a document of references and citations is provided, which can be helpful for researchers and individuals interested in the impact of tooth loss on overall health.
