Abstract Recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is recognized as an environmentally friendly construction material derived from reclaimed concrete components. This paper aims to conduct a comprehensive scientometric analysis of RAC research published between 2000 and 2023 in the Web of Science core database. The study includes analyses of publication trends over time, contributions and collaborations among authors, productivity of institutions and countries, co-citation networks, and keyword co-occurrence patterns. Additionally, the research identifies emerging frontiers in RAC studies. The results are visually presented to provide a holistic overview of the current state of RAC research and future developmental trajectories. The study analyzes publication trends over time, with over 80% of the papers published after 2017, reflecting the growing interest in sustainable construction. Key trends identified include the increasing focus on improving the mechanical properties and durability of RAC, microstructural analysis, and innovative manufacturing techniques. While the field has advanced significantly, challenges remain in areas such as the integration of nanoparticles, biomineralization techniques, carbon capture and utilization, and 3D printing technologies. These challenges underscore the need for continued innovation and exploration. With these advancements, RAC has the potential to play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable construction practices in the future.

As wheat blast is one of the most damaging disease of wheat worldwide and extremely important in Brazil, in this work we are trying to summarize the scientific research direction and temporal trends about the disease. We summarized the evolution of scientific research from the Thomson Reuters Web of Science database, through bibliometrix analysis of the temporal trends of authors, organizations and journals. During 31 years, 521 publications approach wheat blast was published, with an annual growth rate of 3.86%. Different countries were identified, being the USA, Brazil and China the lead of publications. The main organizations are Brazilian federal institutions Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária, followed by Kobe University, Kansas State University, Agriculture Research Service of United States Department of Agriculture. A total of 168 journals were identified in wheat blast publications in bibliometric analysis, being Phytopathology the journal with most publications about wheat blast, with 14.2% of publications (74 documents). Considering the 521 documents, the bibliometric analysis reported a total of 1941 authors, and thirteen authors are ranked as the main authors by h-index. Among the 20 most relevant terms, in keywords and keywords plus, in the documents related to wheat blast emphasize that three main ones are related to the fungus and the culture, being "Magnaporthe grisea", "Wheat" and "Pyricularia oryzae". These authors, organizations and journals have a great importance in plant disease research, and in addition they are recognized by worldwide researches. In this sense, the breeding programs should be encouraged in the search for blast. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study sought to examine research trends in computer-assisted language learning (CALL) using a retrospective scientometric approach. Scopus was used to search for relevant publications on the topic and generate a dataset consisting of 3,697 studies published in 11 journals between 1977 and 2020. A document co-citation analysis method was adopted to identify the main research clusters in the dataset. The impact of each publication on the field was measured by using the burst index and the betweenness centrality and the content of influential publications was closely analysed to determine the focus of each cluster and the key themes of the studies in focus. Overall, we identified seven major clusters. We further found that leveraging synchronous computer-mediated communication and negotiated interaction, multimedia, telecollaboration or e-mail exchanges, blogs, digital games, Wikis and podcasts to support language learning was probably beneficial for language learning. Varying degrees of support were found in various studies for each of these technologies. Stronger support was found for synchronous computer-mediated communication and negotiated interaction, multimedia, telecollaboration or e-mail exchanges and digital games and weaker support was found for blogs, Wikis, and podcasts. The limitations the supporting studies listed were also considered inconsequential. On the other hand, while there was strong support for blogs, Wikis and podcasts, some major drawbacks were observed. The findings of the study would be helpful for teachers and instructors who want to decide whether to use technology in the classroom for instructional purposes. Additionally, researchers and graduate students who need to identify a research topic for their thesis or dissertation may find the results of the study useful for them, too. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Biofortification refers to the process by which food crops are improved by the application of biotechnology, conventional plant breeding, and agronomic practices to increase the bioavailability of their nutritious components to human consumers. The biofortification of staple crops is a long-term, sustainable solution to address nutritional inadequacies. Thus, it is a practical and cost-effective way to provide micronutrients to communities that have limited access to various meals and other micronutrient therapies. Existing therapies, such as supplementation and industrial food fortification, which are insufficient to eliminate micronutrient deficiencies on their own, are complemented by biofortification. However, biofortification offers two substantial competitive advantages: the capacity to reach underserved rural communities and long-term cost-effectiveness. Biofortified crops can also be used to target rural populations with limited access to various dietary options or other micronutrient therapies. Hence, an attempt is made herein to provide an overview of the biofortification literature by employing scientometric and network analysis tools to examine records extracted from the Scopus database that were published between 2010 and 2021. This study investigates the most influential authors and journals, top-contributing institutions and countries, variations across publication years, co-occurrence analysis of keywords, and bibliographic coupling of sources. The results obtained through this study describe the real impact of the research published to date and its usage. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The paper demonstrates the possibilities of a scientometric approach using CiteSpace II software analysis of the field of railway dynamics with detection of research front, main clusters of cross-cited papers, their evolution and pivotal points (see terms in Sections 2.1 and 2.2). The initial database contained 5126 Web Of Science records published between 1975 and 2019 (45 years). The linguistic analysis determined the evolution of burst terms and grouped the papers in 14 clusters that corresponded with the view of the specialists in the field. 'Railway vehicle', 'Curved track' (hunting stability and derailment risk), 'Unconventional railway truck', 'Railway turnout (crossing)' and 'Polygonal wear' clusters were analysed in more detail with a determination of top-cited papers in each cluster and papers that determined connections between clusters (pivotal papers). Two pivotal papers were verified with their authors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

10. POLISH TRANSLATION STUDIES AT THE TURN OF CENTURIES: COMMENTS FROM THE SCIENTOMETRIC PERSPECTIVE.

- Abstract
The political transformation of 1989 brought, among other things, an increased need for translation as a practical activity - but also raised interest in translation as a subject of research. This is reflected in a growing number of texts whose authors situate themselves in translation studies. This study seeks to chart Polish translation studies by analyzing the inventory of works quoted by authors working in this area. I focus on the corpus of texts collected in the series Między Oryginałem a Przekładem (volumes 1-15). Proceeding on the assumption that the most quoted texts are referred to because they identify important questions or provide functional tools, I seek to establish the most influential researchers and findings in Polish translation studies at the beginning of the 21st century. The usefulness of this approach is confirmed by the research of Gile 2006: observing who quotes whom and how often allows to "measure" the significance and contribution of certain works and certain authors in a given period of time.
