Abstract

The intercalative polymerization reaction of aniline with FeOCl, an extensive physicochemical and spectroscopic characterization of the products, and their oxidative behaviour in air is reported. Conducting PANI (emeraldine salt) was found inside FeOCl by an in situ oxidative polymerization reaction. In the (PANI)(sub x)FeOCl, the reduced FeOCl framework dominates the electronic conduction. A detailed study of the reaction is discussed.

Abstract

Synthesis, physiochemical analysis and charge transport characterization of polyfuran (PF) reveal the furan ring opening's responsibility for the degradation of polyfuran due to moisture, under basic or acidic settings. The type of electrolyte employed in synthesis influences the polymer's electrochemical and physical characteristics. Electropolymerization of terfuran aids the preparation of PF films.

Abstract

The characteristics of epitaxial superconducting Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox (BSCCO) thin films grown by solid phase epitaxy from amorphous films were investigated using x-ray diffraction and cross-sectional high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. The results showed that high temperature annealing treatment caused the films to be predominantly BSCCO (2212) phase. In addition, the films were epitaxial to the LaAlO3 with the c axis perpendicular to the substrate surface.

Abstract

An experiment conducted thin films showed that high-technetium superconducting bimuth-strontium-calcium-copper-oxygen films with good electrical properties and film morphology canbe prepared by organometallic chemical vapor deposition in which ammonia is added to the argon carrier gas and hydrocarbon-based beta-diketonates. There were significant improvements in precursor volatility and thermal stability but no evidence of nitrogen contamination was seen
