The article reveals the relevance of questions related to the archetypes of the hero and the villain. Ukrainian society is going through a critically difficult period associated with the full-scale aggression of Russia and the tasks of developing internal rules of life in the country (in the direction of European values and the revival of Ukrainian ones, in contrast to the remnants of Soviet stereotypes and rules imposed by oligarchic clans in recent years). An environment that can be compared to chaos is a potential prerequisite for the emergence of “order out of chaos”, including in the formation of views and the development of rules regarding the norm of behaviour and the formation of Ukrainian archetypes of the hero and the villain. The behaviour of the hero and the villain go beyond the norm, “background behaviour”. Therefore, considering the archetype of the hero and the villain in the context of delinquency is interesting. The author considers delinquent behaviour as a catalyst for social changes, social norms that are directed against existing moral, ethical, and legal norms, and rules. In the author’s opinion, deviations that bear the signs of the new (conscious or not) are new formations (recognised or unrecognised). In the context of the identified problem, behaviour that increasingly deviates from the remnants of Soviet stereotypes and the norms and rules imposed on Ukrainian society by oligarchic clans can be considered delinquent. At the same time, new formations are actions that correspond to the chosen general European guidelines and the revival of Ukrainian values and beliefs. The author assumes the following boundaries of delinquency: on the one hand – heroism. On the other – villainism. There are transitional forms between them. The author emphasises that a villain can be understood as a clear enemy, the struggle of intrapersonal multidirectional interests and motives (one’s enemy), and a reincarnated hero (antihero, villain). The author tries to summarise the characteristics of the hero accordingly. Heroes and villains are distinguished by their values in their activities, which they are carriers of. The author characterises the modern Ukrainian hero’s values (universal human values, European values, and values of a just, fair war). This work contributes to the consolidation of society around selected values. The author sees further work in the study of the characteristics of the archetypes of the hero and the villain in the post-war period.

The choice of the article’s topic is conditioned by the necessity to develop happiness management (such as knowledge management, time management, etc.). With considerable attention to the definition of “happiness”, the analysis of recent publications reveals that it is crucial to understand the deep foundations of happiness, create a typology, reveal the basic principles of different types of understanding of happiness, which was chosen as the topic research. Theoretical approaches to the definition of “happiness” are chosen sociology of imagination of G. Durand, the theory of archetypes of C. Jung, and the theory of images and dreams of G. Bachelard. In the context of this system of views, the idea of happiness is the result of a free play of the imagination, which, while being on the path from past to future, is transformed, revealed, comes accurate as a result of previous collective and individual intermediate ideas, and is enriched and concretised by individual people, social groups, individuals. The mythos of happiness across nations and people differs in the way, method, and tools of individuation, the discovery of the Self. The anthropological tract of happiness has an end to its existence. It is determined by the cessation of existence, the life of nations and individuals. The desire to experience pleasure (according to Freud), the desire to rise (according to Durand) are reflexive, which determines the physiological basis of happiness. Representations of happiness determine priorities, coordinate the direction of thinking, actions, reactions to external circumstances, and choose ways to achieve happiness. This is done through the transcendental function (according to Jung) – a psychological function that arises from the connection of the content of the unconscious with the content of consciousness. Achieving happiness allows one to strengthen the subjectivity and reveal their uniqueness, which allows them to identify typological features (archetypes) of behavioural reactions of people based on individual and group ideas about happiness. The authors reveal the basic foundations of such archetypes of happiness as hedonism, eudemonia, “rat racing”, nihilism, subjective well-being.

In a 2016 paper, an anomaly in the internal pair creation on the M1 transition depopulating the 18.15 MeV isoscalar 1+ state on 8Be was observed. This could be explained by the creation and subsequent decay of a new boson, with mass mXc2 = 16.70 MeV. Further experiments of the same transition with an improved and independent setup were performed, which constrained the mass of the X17 boson (mXc2) and its branching ratio relative to the γ-decay of the 8Be excited state (BX), to mXc2 = 17.01(16) MeV and BX = 6(1) 10−6, respectively. Using the latter setup, the e+e− pairs depopulating the 21 MeV Jπ = 0− 0+ transition in 4He were investigated and a resonance in the angular correlation of the pairs was observed, which could be explained by the same X17 particle, with mass mXc2 = 16.98 ± 0.16(stat) ± 0.20(syst) MeV.

Electron-positron angular correlations were remeasured for the 17.6 MeV (Jπ = 1+ → 0+) ground state transition in 8Be using an improved setup compared to the one we used previously. Significant deviations from the internal pair creation was observed at large angles in the angular correlations, which supports that, in an intermediate step, a neutral isoscalar particle with a mass of 17.0 ±0.2(stat) ±0.5(sys) MeV/c2 and Jπ = 1+was created.

Recently, we observed an anomalous internal pair creation for the M1 transition depopulating the 18.15 MeV isoscalar 1+ state in 8Be. The deviation from the theoretical prediction can be described by assuming the creation and subsequent decay of a new, light boson with a mass of 16.7 MeV/c². In order to clarify the interpretation, we re-investigated the 8Be anomaly with an improved and independent setup. We have confirmed the signal of the assumed X(17) particle and constrained its mass (m0c² = 17:01(16) MeV) and branching ratio compared to the γ-decay (Bx = 6(1)× 10-6). We investigated also the high-energy (21 MeV) Jπ = 0- ℥ 0+ transition in 4He and got a consistent result for the X(17) particle. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
