Sustainable development goals (SDGs) aim to reduce poverty by providing farmers with the widest possible access to information. Farmers’ limited access to information has resulted in poor digital literacy regarding the use of digital technology. The digital literacy gap occurs when the use of digital technology does not provide useful results due to the low skills of digital farmers, resulting in gaps in farmers’ participation in development. The results of this study found a solution to overcome the digital literacy gap through a social media approach through social systems. This route connects farmers with the farming community on social media so that it can encourage changes in farmer behavior, namely, willingness to market ornamental plants via social media. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the use of social media for e-commerce on farmers' behavior in using social media for e-commerce. This study used a survey method with a cross-sectional approach (research carried out once at a certain time). Data analysts use PLS-SEM version 3.0, which is supported by interview results. The research sample consisted of 210 randomly selected farmers who had smartphones and sold ornamental plants on social media.

Background: Leaders of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a role in the continuity of a business. Purpose: This research aims to examine the influence of leadership communication on the acceptance of the Go-Biz application by MSME employees in Bogor Regency. Design/methodology/approach: Research on acceptance of the Go-Biz application by MSME employees in Bogor Regency uses the Technology Acceptance Model theory modified by the Motivating Language Theory. This type of research is quantitative, using primary data. Research data was collected through structured interviews using questionnaires and direct field observations. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. The research population is 100 MSME employees who use the GoBiz application and are located in the Bogor Regency area. Inferential data analysis used PLS SEM 3 analysis. Findings/Result: The research results showed that the influence of leadership communication on the acceptance of Bogor Regency MSME employees in the Go-Biz application consisted of language giving direction, language making meaning, perception of usefulness, perception of ease, attitude of use, and actual use. Direction-giving language, namely explaining the benefits of the application, application instructions, and information on the achievements obtained, and meaning-making language consisting of telling the importance of the application and suggestions for use, are factors that influence the acceptance of the Go -Biz application by Bogor district MSME employees. Conclusion: Effective leadership in communication will help articulate the MSME vision and strategy regarding the development and implementation of application technology. This helps the entire team understand the direction the MSME is taking in terms of technology. Additionally, strong leadership through communication can motivate teams to accept new technologies and actively contribute to their development or use. Originality/value (State of the art): There has been no research that examines the influence of the three motivational languages (motivating language theory) that leaders can use to communicate more effectively in the workplace regrading employee acceptance of an application using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. Covid-19 pandemic has changed the learning model in education to distance learning. The sudden change make students dissatisfy with the learning process thus declining the quality of learning. Research questions of this study are: (1) how to plan a distance learning that focus on building social presence? (2) how does message design of learning material contributes to social presence and student understanding?; and (3) how does the communication skills of the teacher contributes in building teaching presence? To answer these questions, this study used an action research design using class observation, in-depth interviews, and group interviews as data collection method. The action research design also acts to evaluate the research actions that have been given in the classroom. The findings of the study shows that the teaching presence in distance learning are determined from teachers’ communication skills which include: digital literacy, instructional roles or communicating messages in building classroom climate, as well as the ability to design message of learning material that can encourage the creation of social presence. This paper is part of the research results that reveal the communicative action by the virtual community Forum Anti Fitnah Hasut dan Hoax (FAFHH) on Facebook to reduce disinformation on social media. This paper is viewed from the perspective of the Theory of Communicative Action initiated by Jurgen Habermas. Habermas’s idea is very important for this paper because it offers a broader framework for understanding social media as a public sphere. It is also to understand how individuals or communities seek to achieve common understanding within groups to promote cooperation, not just to achieve personal goals. This paper uses a critical, qualitative paradigm with a virtual ethnographic method. Data collection was carried out by observing participants in virtual communities FAFHH on Facebook. In addition to observations, the author also conducted in-depth interviews with virtual community managers (admins and moderators). Data validation by confirming the data using source triangulation. In this case the researcher confirms the information to active members of the FAFHH. The results of this study indicate that the FAFHH virtual community has fulfilled the requirements as a public sphere.
