Abstract This article comprises the study of class S E ∗ $\mathcal{S}_{E}^{\ast }$ that represents the class of normalized analytic functions f satisfying ς f ′ ( z ) / f ( ς ) ≺ sec h ( ς ) ${\varsigma \mathsf{f}}^{\prime }(z)/\mathsf{f}( {\varsigma })\prec \sec h ( \varsigma ) $ . The geometry of functions of class S E ∗ $\mathcal{S}_{E}^{\ast }$ is star-shaped, which is confined in the symmetric domain of a secant hyperbolic function. We find sharp coefficient results and sharp Hankel determinants of order two and three for functions in the class S E ∗ $\mathcal{S}_{E}^{\ast }$ . We also investigate the same sharp results for inverse coefficients.

Abstract Two new subclasses of the class of bi-Bazilevič functions, which are related to the Fibonacci-number series and the square-root functions, are introduced and studied in this article. Under a special choice of the parameter involved, these two classes of Bazilevič functions reduce to two new subclasses of star-like biunivalent functions related with the Fibonacci-number series and the square-root functions. Using the Faber polynomial expansion (FPE) technique, we find the general coefficient bounds for the functions belonging to each of these classes. We also find bounds for the initial coefficients for bi-Bazilevič functions and demonstrate how unexpectedly these initial coefficients behave in relation to the square-root functions and the Fibonacci-number series.

The study of statistical distributions in a complex variable is one of the most vibrant areas of research. The complex analogue of many distributions has been studied. This article introduces the complex analogue of Binomial distribution and Negative Binomial distribution and studies certain geometrical properties of these analogues. It comprises the study of analytic functions defined by using the complex versions of Binomial distribution and Negative Binomial distribution functions. It includes the problems of finding the lower bounds of real parts of certain ratios of partial sums to the infinite series sums for these analytic functions. Such lower bounds are determined for the said analytic functions, for their first derivatives and for the Alexander transformation of these analytic functions.

In this study, we investigate a possible relationship between fuzzy differential subordination and the theory of geometric functions. First, using the Al-Oboudi differential operator and the Babalola convolution operator, we establish the new operator BSα,λm,t:An→An in the open unit disc U. The second step is to develop fuzzy differential subordination for the operator BSα,λm,t. By considering linear transformations of the operator BSα,λm,t, we define a new fuzzy class of analytic functions in U which we denote by Tϝλ,t(m,α,δ). Several innovative results are found using the concept of fuzzy differential subordination and the operator BSα,λm,t for the function f in the class Tϝλ,t(m,α,δ). In addition, we explore a number of examples and corollaries to illustrate the implications of our key findings. Finally, we highlight several established results to demonstrate the connections between our work and existing studies.

This article extends the study of q-versions of analytic functions by introducing and studying the association of starlike functions with trigonometric cosine functions, both defined in their q-versions. Certain coefficient inequalities like coefficient bounds, Zalcman inequalities, and both Hankel and Toeplitz determinants for the new version of starlike functions are investigated. It is worth mentioning that most of the determined inequalities are sharp with the support of relevant extremal functions.

In this paper, we study a new filtration class MFα,βμ, associated with the filtration of infinitesimal generators, by using the nonlinear fractional differential operator and study certain properties, like sharp Fekete–Szegö inequalities and filtration problems.

The basic aspect of the research on coefficient problems for numerous families of univalent functions is to describe the coefficients of functions in a specific family by the coefficients of the Carathéodory functions. Thus, in utilizing the inequalities that are known for the class of Carathéodory functions, coefficient functionals may be examined. Several coefficient problems will be addressed in this study by utilizing the methodology for the abovementioned functions’ family. The family of starlike functions with respect to symmetric points connected to a three-leaf-shaped image domain is the topic of our investigation.

The aim of this paper is to introduce a class of starlike functions that are related to Bernoulli’s numbers of the second kind. Let φBS(ξ)=ξeξ−12=∑n=0∞ξnBn2n!, where the coefficients of Bn2 are Bernoulli numbers of the second kind. Then, we introduce a subclass of starlike functions 𝟊 such that ξ𝟊′(ξ)𝟊(ξ)≺φBS(ξ). We found out the coefficient bounds, several radii problems, structural formulas, and inclusion relations. We also found sharp Hankel determinant problems of this class.

By utilizing the concept of the q-fractional derivative operator and bi-close-to-convex functions, we define a new subclass of A, where the class A contains normalized analytic functions in the open unit disk E and is invariant or symmetric under rotation. First, using the Faber polynomial expansion (FPE) technique, we determine the lth coefficient bound for the functions contained within this class. We provide a further explanation for the first few coefficients of bi-close-to-convex functions defined by the q-fractional derivative. We also emphasize upon a few well-known outcomes of the major findings in this article.

In this paper, we define a subclass of starlike functions associated with the Van der Pol numbers. For this class, we derive structural formula, radius of starlikeness of order α, strong starlikeness, and some inclusion results. We also study radii problems for various classes of analytic functions. Furthermore, we investigate some coefficient-related problems which include the sharp initial coefficient bounds and sharp bounds on Hankel determinants of order two and three.

This article comprises the study of strongly starlike functions which are defined by using the concept of subordination. The function φ defined by φ(ζ)=(1+ζ)λ, 0<λ<1 maps the open unit disk in the complex plane to a domain symmetric with respect to the real axis in the right-half plane. Using this mapping, we obtain some radius results for a family of starlike functions. It is worth noting that all the presented results are sharp.

Motivated by the recent work on the symmetric domains, this article investigates certain features of symmetric domain which are caused by the secant hyperbolic functions. Geometric characteristics of analytic functions associated with secant hyperbolic functions are discussed, which include the inclusion results, structural formula, certain sharp radii results such as radius of starlikeness and convexity of order α. It also finds a radius for ratios of analytic functions associated with Euler numbers.

We present a new family of s-fold symmetrical bi-univalent functions in the open unit disc in this work. We provide estimates for the first two Taylor–Maclaurin series coefficients for these functions. Furthermore, we define the Salagean differential operator and discuss various applications of our main findings using it. A few new and well-known corollaries are studied in order to show the connection between recent and earlier work.

Some well-known authors have extensively used orthogonal polynomials in the framework of geometric function theory. We are motivated by the previous research that has been conducted and, in this study, we solve the Fekete–Szegö problem as well as give bound estimates for the coefficients and an upper bound estimate for the second Hankel determinant for functions in the class GΣ(v,σ) of analytical and bi-univalent functions, implicating the Euler polynomials.

This paper introduces a new fractional operator by using the concepts of fractional q-calculus and q-Mittag-Leffler functions. With this fractional operator, Janowski functions are generalized and studied regarding their certain geometric characteristics. It also establishes the solution of the complex Briot–Bouquet differential equation by using the newly defined operator.

Motivated by the recent work on symmetric analytic functions by using the concept of Faber polynomials, this article introduces and studies two new subclasses of bi-close-to-convex and quasi-close-to-convex functions associated with Janowski functions. By using the Faber polynomial expansion method, it determines the general coefficient bounds for the functions belonging to these classes. It also finds initial coefficients of bi-close-to-convex and bi-quasi-convex functions by using Janowski functions. Some known consequences of the main results are also highlighted.

In this article, we are interested in finding sufficient conditions on A,B,L, and η which ensure the normalized Coulomb wave function to be Janowski starlike. Sufficient conditions are also obtained for gL,η/z∈PA,B, which readily yield conditions for gL,η to be close-to-convex.

The core objective of this article is to introduce and investigate a new class β−UCVqλA,B of convex functions associated with the conic domain defined by the Ruscheweyh q-differential operator. Many interesting properties such as sufficiency criteria, coefficient bounds, partial sums, and radius of convexity of order α for the functions of the said class are investigated here.

This article deals with the upper bound of fourth-order Hankel and Toeplitz determinants for the convex functions which are defined by using the sine function. The main tools in this study are the coefficient inequalities for the class P of functions with positive real parts. Also, the investigation of the upper bound of the fourth-order Hankel determinant for 3-fold symmetric convex functions associated with the sine function is included.

Very recently, functions that map the open unit disc U onto a limaçon domain, which is symmetric with respect to the real axis in the right-half plane, were initiated in the literature. The analytic characterization, geometric properties, and Hankel determinants of these families of functions were also demonstrated. In this article, we present a q-analogue of these functions and use it to establish the classes of starlike and convex limaçon functions that are correlated with q-calculus. Furthermore, the coefficient bounds, as well as the third Hankel determinants, for these novel classes are established. Moreover, at some stages, the radius of the inclusion relationship for a particular case of these subclasses with the Janowski families of functions are obtained. It is worth noting that many of our results are sharp.

In the field of Geometric Function Theory, one can not deny the importance of analytic and univalent functions. The characteristics of these functions including their taylor series expansion, their coefficients in these representations as well as their associated functional inequalities have always attracted the researchers. In particular, Fekete-Szegö inequality is one of such vastly studied and investigated functional inequality. Our main focus in this article is to investigate the Fekete-Szegö functional for the class of analytic functions associated with hyperbolic regions. Tofurther enhance the worth of our work, we include similar problems for the inverse functions of these discussed analytic functions.

Abstract In this paper, some geometric properties of normalized Mittag-Leffler functions are investigated. We focus on starlikeness of order 2μ+η−1 $2\mu +\eta -1$ and convexity in the direction of imaginary axis. In addition, we study pre-starlikeness of Mittag-Leffler functions. The results are obtained by using the positivity technique.

Abstract In this work, we introduce certain subclasses of analytic functions involving the integral operators that generalize the class of uniformly starlike, convex, and close-to-convex functions with respect to symmetric points. We then establish various inclusion relations for these newly defined classes.

This study introduces a subclass Sqs* of starlike functions associated with the q-analogue of the sine function defined in symmetric unit disk. This article comprises the investigation of sharp coefficient bounds, and the upper bound of the third-order Hankel determinant for this class. It also includes the findings of Zalcman and generalized Zalcman conjectures for functions of this class.

This study deals with analytic functions with bounded turnings, defined in the disk Od=z:z<1. These functions are subordinated by sigmoid function 21+e−z and their class is denoted by BTSg. Sharp coefficient inequalities, including the third Hankel determinant for class BTSg, were investigated here. The same was also included for the logarithmic coefficients related to functions of the class BTSg.

This article deals with the normalized Wright function and its geometric properties. In particular, we find sufficiency criteria for close-to-convexity with respect to starlike function ς1−ς2. We also find conditions such that the normalized Wright function is starlike. The convexity along the imaginary axis and starlikeness of a certain order is also a part of our discussion. Moreover, we study the bounded turning of the partial sums and prestarlikeness of this function. We use positivity techniques to obtain these results.

In this paper, we aim to find sufficient conditions for the close-to-convexity of q-Bessel–Wright functions with respect to starlike functions, such as z1−z,z1−z2, and −log(1−z) are in the open unit disc. Some consequences related to our main results are also included.

The word “symmetry” is a Greek word that originated from “symmetria”. It means an agreement in dimensions, due proportion, and arrangement; however, in complex analysis, it means objects remaining invariant under some transformation. This idea has now been recently used in geometric function theory to modify the earlier classical q-derivative introduced by Ismail et al. due to its better convergence properties. Consequently, we introduce a new class of analytic functions by using the notion of q-symmetric derivative. The investigation in this paper obtains a number of the latest important results in q-theory, including coefficient inequalities and convolution characterization of q-symmetric starlike functions related to Janowski mappings.

In this paper, we find Hankel determinants and coefficient bounds for a subclass of starlike functions related to Booth lemniscate. In particular, we obtain the first four sharp coefficient bounds, Hankel determinants of order two and three, and Zalcman conjecture for this class of functions.

In this paper, we examine the differential subordination implication related with the Janowski and secant hyperbolic functions. This article deals with the q-differential subordinations for starlike functions associated with the lemniscate of Bernoulli and cardioid domain. The primary goal of this work is to find the conditions on γ for 1+γz∂q hz/hn z ≺1+z, where hz is analytic function and is subordinated by the function which is producing cardioid domain as its image domain while mapping the open unit disk. Along with this, certain sufficient conditions for q-starlikeness of analytic functions are determined.

In this article, we studied the necessary conditions for the univalence of integral operators that involve two functions: the generalized Bessel function and a function from the well-known class of normalized analytic functions in the open unit disk. The main tools for our discussions were the Kudriasov conditions for the univalency of functions, as well as functional inequalities for the generalized Bessel functions. We included the conditions for the univalency of integral operators that involve Bessel, modified Bessel and spherical Bessel functions as special cases. Furthermore, we provided sufficient conditions for the integral operators that involve trigonometric, as well as hyperbolic, functions as an application of our results.

In this paper, two new classes of q-starlike functions in an open unit disc are defined and studied by using the q-fractional derivative. The class Sq*˜(α), α∈(−3,1], q∈(0,1) generalizes the class Sq* of q-starlike functions and the class Tq*˜(α), α∈[−1,1], q∈(0,1) comprises the q-starlike univalent functions with negative coefficients. Some basic properties and the behavior of the functions in these classes are examined. The order of starlikeness in the class of convex function is investigated. It provides some interesting connections of newly defined classes with known classes. The mapping property of these classes under the family of q-Bernardi integral operator and its radius of univalence are studied. Additionally, certain coefficient inequalities, the radius of q-convexity, growth and distortion theorem, the covering theorem and some applications of fractional q-calculus for these new classes are investigated, and some interesting special cases are also included.

The geometry of the image domain plays an important role in the characterization of analytic functions. Therefore, for a comprehensive and detailed study of these functions, a thorough analysis of the geometrical properties of their domains is of prime interest. In this regard, new geometrical structures are introduced and studied as an image domain and then their subsequent analytic functions are defined. Inspired and motivated by ongoing research, Malik et al. introduced a very innovative domain named the cardioid domain, which is symmetric about a real axis. Extending the same work on this symmetric cardioid domain, in this article, we provide a deeper analysis and define and study the convex functions associated with the symmetric cardioid domain, named cardio-convex functions.

Motivated by q-analogue theory and symmetric conic domain, we study here the q-version of the Ruscheweyh differential operator by applying it to the starlike functions which are related with the symmetric conic domain. The primary aim of this work is to first define and then study a new class of holomorphic functions using the q-Ruscheweyh differential operator. A new class k−STqτC,D of k-Janowski starlike functions associated with the symmetric conic domain, which are defined by the generalized Ruscheweyh derivative operator in the open unit disk, is introduced. The necessary and sufficient condition for a function to be in the class k−STqτC,D is established. In addition, the coefficient bound, partial sums and radii of starlikeness for the functions from the class of k-Janowski starlike functions related with symmetric conic domain are included.

Abstract The analytic functions, mapping the open unit disk onto petal and oval type regions, introduced by Noor and Malik (Comput. Math. Appl. 62:2209-2217, 2011), are considered to define and study their associated close-to-convex functions. This work includes certain geometric properties like sufficiency criteria, coefficient estimates, arc length, the growth rate of coefficients of Taylor series, integral preserving properties of these functions.

This article deals with some functional inequalities involving Struve function, generalized Struve function, and modified Struve functions. We aim to find the convexity of the integral operator defined by Struve function, generalized Struve function, and modified Struve functions.

This article deals with q-starlike functions associated with conic domains, defined by Janowski functions. It generalizes the recent study of q-starlike functions while associating it with the conic domains. Certain renowned coefficient inequalities in connection with the previously known ones have been included in this work.

In this work, we aim to introduce and study a new subclass of analytic functions related to the oval and petal type domain. This includes various interesting properties such as integral representation, sufficiency criteria, inclusion results, and the convolution properties for newly introduced class.

This article presents certain families of analytic functions regarding q-starlikeness and q-convexity of complex order γ ( γ ∈ C \ 0 ) . This introduced a q-integral operator and certain subclasses of the newly introduced classes are defined by using this q-integral operator. Coefficient bounds for these subclasses are obtained. Furthermore, the ( δ , q )-neighborhood of analytic functions are introduced and the inclusion relations between the ( δ , q )-neighborhood and these subclasses of analytic functions are established. Moreover, the generalized hyper-Bessel function is defined, and application of main results are discussed.

This article presents the study of Struve functions and certain integral operators associated with the Struve functions. It contains the investigation of certain geometric properties like the strong starlikeness and strong convexity of the Struve functions. It also includes the criteria of univalence for a family of certain integral operators associated with the generalized Struve functions. The starlikeness and uniform convexity of the said integral operators are also part of this research.

The present paper comprises the study of certain functions which are analytic and defined in terms of reciprocal function. The reciprocal classes of close-to-convex functions and quasi-convex functions are defined and studied. Various interesting properties, such as sufficiency criteria, coefficient estimates, distortion results, and a few others, are investigated for these newly defined sub-classes.

This article presents the study of certain analytic functions defined by bounded radius rotations associated with conic domain. Many geometric properties like coefficient estimate, radii problems, arc length, integral representation, inclusion results and growth rate of coefficients of Taylor’s series representation are investigated. By varying the parameters in results, several well-known results in literature are obtained as special cases.

We introduce and investigate a new subclass VDkA,B,b,δ of analytic functions using Ruscheweyh derivative. We derive the coefficient inequalities and other interesting properties and characteristics for functions belonging to the general class, which we have introduced and studied in this article. We also observe that this class is preserved under the Bernardi integral transform.

In this work, our focus is to study the Fekete-Szegö functional in a different and innovative manner, and to do this we find its upper bound for certain analytic functions which give hyperbolic regions as image domain. The upper bounds obtained in this paper give refinement of already known results. Moreover, we extend our work by calculating similar problems for the inverse functions of these certain analytic functions for the sake of completeness.

In the theory of analytic and univalent functions, coefficients of functions’ Taylor series representation and their related functional inequalities are of major interest and how they estimate functions’ growth in their specified domains. One of the important and useful functional inequalities is the Fekete-Szegö inequality. In this work, we aim to analyze the Fekete-Szegö functional and to find its upper bound for certain analytic functions which give parabolic and petal type regions as image domains. Coefficient inequalities and the Fekete-Szegö inequality of inverse functions to these certain analytic functions are also established in this work.

In this article, we find some geometric properties like starlikeness, convexity of order α, close-to-convexity of order 1+α/2, and close-to-convexity of normalized Wright functions with respect to the certain functions. The sufficient conditions for the normalized Wright functions belonging to the classes Tγα and Lγα are the part of our investigations. We also obtain the conditions on normalized Wright function to belong to the Hardy space Hp.
