1. The Impact of Online Technologies Supported by the Teaching of Poetry Poetology on the Achievements and Attitudes of Students

Abstract

The traditional face-to-face learning approach, which has been practiced for centuries, is gradually being replaced by a new learning approach. Today's technology and research in the field of educational sciences show that the use of the Internet and information technologies in the field of education will have a direct impact on students' achievement and attitudes. Within this context, this study aims to examine the effect of online teaching approach on the achievement, attitude towards poetry and learning retention of university students on the subject of 'Abai Qunanbaiuly Poems' in Kazakh Language Literature course. For this purpose, pretest-posttest model with control group from quasi-experimental models was used in the study. In the study, the subject of 'Abai Qunanbaiuly Poems' in the experimental group was taught by online teaching method and the same subject in the control group was taught according to the instructions of the existing curriculum. The study was conducted on a total of 60 students in the Kazakh Language and Literature department of a university in Almaty. Academic Achievement Test and Attitude Scale towards Poetry were used to collect data. According to the findings of the study, it was found that the online teaching approach increased students' achievement, attitudes towards poetry and learning retention at a high level compared to the current curriculum-based education. Therefore, as a result of the research, it was revealed that online learning positively affects students' academic achievement, attitudes and learning retention in Kazakh Language Literature course and recommendations were developed in this context.

2. Effects of Online Learning and Digital Conversation-Based Activities on the Transfer of Cultural Values in Language and Literature Classes

Abstract

In this study, the effect of Online Learning and Digital Conversation-Based Activities method on students' achievement, attitudes and perceptions of cultural values in language and literature courses was examined. The study group consisted of 2 branches studying in the 3rd grade of a high school in Astana province in the 2022 academic year. 64 high school third grade students participated in the study. In the study in which quasi-experimental research model was used, post-test control group design was used. In this context, Online Learning And Digital Conversation-Based Activities in the experimental group and traditional teaching activities in the control group were applied for 6 weeks. As a result, when the two classes were considered independently of each other, it was found that the students in the group applying the Online Learning And Digital Conversation-Based Activities program achieved higher academic achievement, attitude towards the course and cultural value perception gains compared to their peers in the control group.

3. Supra-Word Units with a Turkic Component

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of Turkic borrowings in the semantic aspect, particularly features of their functioning within set expressions. The materials for the study are academic dictionaries of the Russian literary language published from the 18th to the 20th centuries. These sources were chosen because the lexical variety of the language becomes, at a particular stage of its development, reflected in lexicographic sources, and most comprehensively – in explanatory dictionaries. This type of reference books is aimed at most fully comprise the everyday vocabulary of a literary language. Comparing the lexicographic sources of various periods, as well as a comparative analysis of the Turkic units contained in them, allows tracing the life of a borrowed word in a language and the stages of its assimilation in the receiving language, and identifying the features of functioning of the Turkic layer in the Russian vocabulary. Supra-word units with a Turkic component are also analyzed from the viewpoint of their lexicographic registration, i.e., in compliance with the parameter indicated in explanatory dictionaries. It was found that during their functioning in the Russian language, Turkisms broaden their sphere of usage and occur within phraseologisms, some of them being registered as early as in the 18th – 19th centuries.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the scientific picture of the world against the backdrop of ancient times. To analyze the language system, we used the methodology of cognitive science and synergetic. The work reveals that the language system, undergoing synergy (according to Aristotle, the movement is subject to certain obstacles and the thing finds its natural place on its movement), is a process of interaction of two interconnected and contradictory principles - generation and dissipation. In conclusion, to describe the scientific (linguistic) picture of the world, it is necessary to use a convergent approach in an attempt., El artículo está dedicado al estudio de la imagen científica del mundo en el contexto de los tiempos antiguos. Para analizar el sistema del lenguaje, utilizamos la metodología de la ciencia cognitiva y sinérgica. El trabajo revela que el sistema del lenguaje, que experimenta sinergia (según Aristóteles, el movimiento está sujeto a ciertos obstáculos y la cosa encuentra su lugar natural en su movimiento), es un proceso de interacción de dos principios interconectados y contradictorios: la generación y la disipación. En conclusión, para describir la imagen científica (lingüística) del mundo, es necesario utilizar un enfoque convergente en un intento.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the history of the formation and development of Turkic lexicography from the XI century, to the consideration of the systematic, structural problems of the Turkic languages dictionaries, including the explanatory and bilingual dictionaries in Kazakh lexicography. As a result, the foundations of the history of general lexicography have been established and the sources of the history of the scientific study of lexicography in the Turkic languages have been discovered. In conclusion, the history of Turkic lexicography beginning with the XI century can be divided into four stages with methodological, practical and scientific theoretically distinctive features., El artículo está dedicado al análisis de la historia de la formación y el desarrollo de la lexicografía turca del siglo XI, a la consideración de los problemas sistemáticos y estructurales de los diccionarios de lenguas turcas, a través de métodos comparativoshistóricos, sincrónicos y diacrónicos. Como resultado, se han establecido los fundamentos de la historia de la lexicografía general y se han descubierto las fuentes de la historia del estudio científico de la lexicografía en las lenguas turcas. En conclusión, la historia de la lexicografía turca que comienza con el siglo XI puede dividirse en cuatro etapas con características metodológicas, prácticas y científicas teóricamente distintivas.

Abstract

The article is relevant as the idea of statehood that dates back to ancient times has become an eternal theme in literature. The theme of protection of country, peacefulness and heroism, which occupies a central place in folk model, has become the basis of written fiction. The large literary works in the world literature have made the famous historical figures, who united nomadic tribes, created a large state, fought for strengthening, development and protection of the state, the protagonists or just ordinary heroes. In this article the authors considered the works on this subject, analyzed the struggles and conflicts during the defending the country, and life goals of some heroes, who lifted the spirit of people. The text structure of such works that explains the author’s position by displaying a historical event in combination with mythic motifs requires comparative and hermeneutical analysis. Abstract

There are not only simple words, but also complex units by structure in the treasury of the Kazakh language. They are: ala auyz, tаigа tanbа basqandai, to be shashytik turu, qoi auzynan shop almas, qoi ustinde bostorgai zhumyrtqalagan e.t. There aremany such words in the Kazakh language. They are called phraseological units orstable combination of words. Phraseology consists of at least two words that denotessomething unified in meaning.Phraseological units in terms of prevalence are considered in three aspects:1) archaic phraseology;2) passive phraseology;3) active phraseology which is regarded as the most basic, productive in the language.Archaic stable units are called stable combinations that are not currently used,the meaning of which can be determined using a dictionary, mainly used in the language of art literature, including historical works. Archaic phraseological units aredivided into archaisms and historical phraseological units. Stable combinations ofrelated archaisms are divided into the following phraseological units concerningcustoms and traditions, religious concepts, everyday, person, mood. Historical stable units according to the meaning of the phraseology are grouped into phraseologyrelated to historical epochs, phraseology related to the military ranks and types ofweapons phraseology related to Soviet rule’s management., Dilimizin kelime hazinesinde sadece birer sözcükle değil, birkaç sözün bir arayagelmesiyle yapılan birleşik sözcüklere de rastlanır. Örneğin (direkt çeviri): ala ağız(kavga etmek), taya işaret basılmışçasına (çok belli, anlaşılmaması zor), saçı dik durmak (kalbi yerinden fırlamak), koyun ağzından ot almaz (karıncayı bile incitmez),koyun üzerinde tarlakuşunun yumurta bırakması (barış zamanında yaşamak). Kazakdilinde bunun gibi birleşik sözcükler fazlasıyla vardır. Bunlar deyimler veya kalılplaşmış sözler olarak adlandırılır. Kalıplaşmış söz en az iki sözden oluşup bütün biranlamı içeren birleşik sözcüklerdir.Deyimler kullanım alanına göre üç yönden dikkate alınmaktadır:1) Eski deyimler2) Pasif deyimler3) Dilimizde etkin bir şekile kullanılan aktif deyimler. Eski kalıplaşmış sözler dediğimiz şimdiki zamanda kullanılmayan, anlamını ancak sözlükten anlayabildiğimiz, genellikle kurgusal edebiyat dilinde, onun içinde tarihî eserlerde kullanılan kalıplaşmış sözlerdir. Eski deyimler arkaizmler (kullanımdandüşmüş deyimler) ve tarihî deyimler olarak ikiye bölünür. Arkaizm deyimler gelenekve toplumsal bilinç ile ilgili deyimler, âdetlerle ilgili deyimler, din anlayışıyla ilgilideyimler, ev yaşantısyla ilgili deyimler, insanla ilgili deyimler, ruh hâli ve keyifle ilgilideyimler olarak gruplara ayrılmaktadır.
