The objective of this work is to perform a temporal comparative analysis in a network of companies in the furniture sector, in Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, presenting drivers through circular economy modeling. The study was performed applying the model proposed by Saraceni et al. (2017) in a network of Furniture companies in Conc&oacute, rdia, Brazil. The model diagnoses the presence of industrial symbiosis practices in five domains variables involving Technical, Economic, Political, Information and Organizational Factors, influencing three spheres: by-product exchange, service sharing, and managerial cooperation. The study addressed the positive relationship aspects of the circular economy as guidelines for improving the industrial symbiosis of the network. The results of data collection in 2019 were compared with the results of the application made in 2014. The comparison revealed a significant advance from 2014 to 2019 towards Industrial Symbiosis, highlighting that corrective actions and circular economy strategies may lead this business network to be the first Industrial Symbiosis case in Brazil in the next few years, meanwhile fostering the ecological network&rsquo, s process to the country.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) Esta tese teve como objetivo o desenvolvimento de um modelo de apoio à análise decisória para a implementação dos Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) em redes de empresas que em sua maioria, são formadas por Pequenas e Médias Empresas (PMEs). Na parte teórica do desenvolvimento metodológico, realizou-se o levantamento dos ODS e suas metas, e a partir de uma matriz de decisão, alinhou-se os mesmos às redes de empresas. Foi desenvolvida uma revisão sistemática da literatura com apoio da metodologia Methodi Ordinatio, buscando discussões científicas sobre os ODS na Engenharia de Produção e as variáveis fundamentais ao construto do modelo. Ainda, como procedimento metodológico, para assentar a estrutura do modelo, realizou-se o levantamento dos indicadores gerais de monitoramento de implementação dos ODS, bem como a ferramenta SDG Selector. E alinhando a teoria com o objetivo geral proposto por esta pesquisa, analisou-se o SDG Compass - um guia que traz diretrizes para implementação dos ODS na estratégia dos negócios - em um constructo de Sustainability Balanced Scorecard, a fim levantar as estratégias fundamentais para a transformação das metas globais em requisitos e atributos de operacionalização. Na parte matemática do desenvolvimento metodológico, selecionou-se a base multicritério, apoiada na metodologia de apoio à tomada de decisão MACBETH. Os resultados de desenvolvimento possibilitaram a elaboração de um índice de alinhamento das metas dos ODS, IAM-ODSempresa, capaz de apoiar o processo de tomada de decisão sobre os ODS em redes de empresa, abrangendo assim PMEs. A aplicação empírica realizada em redes de empresas no Canadá e no Brasil forneceu resultados para a calibragem do modelo proposto, como também para análise das orientações estratégicas de redes de empresas em dois contextos regionais diferenciados. Ainda, os resultados da aplicação denotaram que o modelo desenvolvido, ao fornecer o índice IAM-ODSempresa de alinhamento das metas dos ODS ao contexto empresarial, facilita o apoio à tomada de decisão. Tem-se, assim, um modelo com o diferencial de oferecer apoio para maior efetividade em medidas empresariais que visem alcançar a proposta de Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável das Nações Unidas para a humanidade. This thesis had as main objective the development of a model to support decision making on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in business networks mainly formed by Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). In the theoretical part of the methodological development, it was carried out the survey of the SDGs and its goals, for, through a decision matrix, aligning them to the business networks. Assuring scientific robustness to the theoretical basis of the model, a systematic review of the literature was carried out with the support of Methodi Ordinatio methodology, seeking scientific discussions about SDGs in Industrial Engineering and the fundamental variables to the model construction. Also, as a methodological procedure, to establish the structure of the model, a survey of the general indicators of implementation and monitoring was carried out, as well as of the SDG Selector tool. And aligning the theory with the general objective proposed in this research, SDG Compass was analyzed - a guide that provides guidelines for the implementation of SDGs in business strategy - in a construct of Sustainability Balanced Scorecard, in order to raise the fundamental strategies for transforming global goals into requirements and attributes of operationalization. In the mathematical part of the methodological development, the multicriteria basis was selected, based on the methodology to support the decision making MACBETH. The results of the development enabled the elaboration of an index of alignment of the SDGs target, IAM-ODSempresa, capable of supporting the decision-making process of SDGs in business networks including therefore SMEs. The empirical application was carried out in business networks in Canada and Brazil and provided results both for the calibration of the proposed model and also for the analysis of the strategic orientations of business networks in two different regional contexts. Moreover, the results of the application showed that the developed model, by providing the IAMODSempresa index of alignment of the ODS goals to the business context, supports decision-making. Thus the model offers support for effectiveness in business measures aimed at achieving the proposed UN Sustainable Development Goals for humanity.

The article presents a comprehensive view about knowledge management as a way of promoting clusters and regional development. The methodology used in the research included a literature review on the topics, with analysis of titles, abstracts and full review of the texts. The inclusion criterion was the approach of the two main variables. Results led to a comprehensive view of the subject, as well as the verification that innovations in clusters (vertex in knowledge management) depend on structuring initiatives aimed at regional development. Este artigo apresenta uma visão compreensiva sobre a gestão do conhecimento como forma de promover o desenvolvimento em Arranjos Produtivos Locais (APLs) e de fortalecer o desenvolvimento econômico e regional. A metodologia utilizada foi uma revisão de literatura sobre os temas. Como método, empregou-se análise do título, análise do resumo e análise integral dos textos. O critério de inclusão foi a abordagem das duas variáveis principais. Como resultado, obteve-se um conhecimento compreensivo do tema. Verificou-se que a inovação em APLs (vértice presente na gestão do conhecimento) parte da premissa de iniciativas estruturantes, voltadas para o desenvolvimento regional.

Industrial clusters play an important role in the development of cities and regions. Industrial Ecology is an emerging research area in science for sustainable regional development and in solutions of development of production and society. This study aimed to verify the central scientific publication of Industrial Ecology and Industrial Clusters in academic society provided on web bases Capes and Scielo, aiming to identify the evolution of these themes and the relationship between them. Therefore identifies the evolution of the theme in the social and scientific spheres. To achieve the goal it was held a methodological procedure of literature review based on bibliometrics. For the application of the study we used steps of the instrument ProKnow-C. The keywords were surveyed in English and Portuguese, between the years 2000 to 2011. The results obtained through the methodological procedures indicated that the field of Industrial Ecology and its relationship with Industrial Clusters is still fruitful of studies. However, there was a descent of studies correlating themes. Given the initial checks, it is clear that publications and researchers are interest to deepen their research questions in this area. This study also identified new keywords and research opportunities to be enhanced, enabling the continuation of studies aimed at social, sustainable and regional development. Os Arranjos Produtivos Locais desempenham um papel importante para o desenvolvimento de cidades e regiões, e, a Ecologia Industrial é uma área de pesquisa emergente no campo científico, no desenvolvimento regional sustentável e em soluções no desenvolvimento da produção e da sociedade. Este trabalho teve como objetivo central verificar, publicação científica entre Ecologia Industrial e Arranjos Produtivos Locais na sociedade acadêmica, disponibilizadas nas bases Capes e Scielo, com vistas em identificar a evolução do tema e a relação entre eles. Assim identifica a evolução do tema em âmbito social e científico. Para atingir a proposta, realizou-se como procedimento metodológico uma revisão da literatura baseada na bibliometria. Para a aplicação do estudo, foram utilizadas fases do instrumento ProKnow-C. As palavras-chave foram pesquisadas em inglês e português, entre os anos de 2000 a 2011. Os resultados obtidos por meio dos procedimentos metodológicos utilizados apontaram que o campo da Ecologia Industrial e sua relação com Arranjos Produtivos Locais ainda é profícuo de estudos. No entanto, observou-se uma ascendência de estudos que correlacionam os temas. Diante das verificações iniciais, percebe-se interesse por parte das publicações e dos pesquisadores em aprofundar suas questões de pesquisa nessa área. O presente trabalho identificou ainda novas palavras-chave e oportunidades de pesquisa a serem aprofundadas, possibilitando a continuidade dos estudos voltados para o desenvolvimento regional, social e sustentável.

CAPES O objetivo central desta pesquisa foi desenvolver uma ferramenta para avaliação da presença de práticas de Simbiose Industrial em rede de empresas, a partir dos conceitos de simbiose industrial encontrados na literatura. Para isto, foi definida uma série de etapas para a construção do referencial teórico da presente pesquisa, e para o desenvolvimento da proposta de metodologia. As etapas iniciais foram baseadas no instrumento ProKnow-C (Knowledge Development Process–Constructivist), com o intuito de formar o portfólio bibliográfico. Este procedimento ocorreu com apoio do portal ISI Web of Knowledge, sendo realizado em duas categorias de classificação: Engineering, Environmental e Engineering, Industrial. Em seguida, as variáveis da Simbiose Industrial foram identificadas através da revisão sistemática diferenciada. Os resultados obtidos por meio deste procedimento possibilitou o desenvolvimento da ferramenta teórica. Após a identificação das variáveis, uma metodologia baseada na lógica fuzzy foi aplicada e direcionada à pesquisadores do tema para atribuição dos pesos das variáveis de Simbiose Industrial. Desta forma, foi possível extraír os indicadores de intensidade das inter-relações necessários na análise do nível de desenvolvimento de cada uma das correlações entre as variáveis. Em posse das variáveis e de seus pesos, obteve-se como resultado inicial a estrutura da teórica de Avaliação de Simbiose Industrial. No sentido de identificar pontualmente as lacunas ou níveis de desenvolvimento em cada esfera, gerou-se então os gráficos de manobra para análise dos dados. Após estes procedimentos, construiu-se um instrumento para a aplicação da ferramenta, acompanhado de um método de cálculo matemático para tratamento dos dados, tornando-o passível de aplicação, compilação e resultados. Assim, uma ferramenta de aplicação da metodologia, capaz de obter os dados para análise nos gráficos de manobra e para a geração da Avaliação de Simbiose Industrial, foi desenvolvido. Por fim, um teste piloto foi realizado em uma rede de empresas fabricantes de móveis e esquadrias de madeira, identificando se há práticas da Simbiose Industrial na rede, bem como o potencial de desenvolvimento das esferas de análise. Os resultados do teste piloto da ferramenta de Avaliação de Simbiose Industrial forneceram uma série de perspectivas relacionadas à sua aplicabilidade, flexibilidade, particularidades, e, ao direcionamento nos aspectos de amadurecimento da ferramenta. The main objective of this research was to develop a tool for assessing the presence of Industrial Symbiosis practices in na industrial cluster, based on the concepts of Industrial Symbiosis found in the literature. For this, were conceived a variety of steps to form theoretical framework of this research, and, for the development of the proposed methodology. In order to form the bibliographic portfolio, this research initial steps were based on the instrument ProKnow-C (Knowledge Development Process–Constructivist). This procedure was performed with support of ISI Web of Knowledge portal and carried out in two categories of classification: Engineering, Environmental and Engineering, Industrial. Based on this differentiated systematic review, the variables of Industrial Symbiosis were identified. The results obtained by this procedure allowed the development of the theoretical model. After identificatifying the variables, a methodology based on fuzzy logic was applied and directed to the researchers of the subject for assigning weights of the variables of Industrial Symbiosis. Thus, it was possible to extract indicators of intensity of the interrelationships, these, needed in the analysis of the level of development of each of the correlations between the variables. In possession of the variables and their indicators, it was obtained an structure of the theoretical model for Assessing of Industrial Symbiosis, as initial result. In order to promptly identify gaps or development levels within each sphere, graphs of maneuver for data analysis were generated. After these procedures, it was built a tool to the model application, accompanied by a mathematical calculation method for processing data, making it reliable for implementation, compilation and results. Therefore, a model able to implementing the methodology, able to obtain the data for analysis on the graphs of maneuver and to generate the Assessing Industrial Symbiosis, was developed. Finally, a pilot test was conducted in a Industrial Cluster of manufacturer of furniture and wooden frames, identifying whether there are Industrial Symbiosis practices in the cluster, as well as the potential of development in the spheres of analysis. The results of the pilot test of the model for Assessing Industrial Symbiosis provided a range of perspectives related to its applicability, flexibility, features and guidance on aspects of ripening the tool. 2017-09-01
