For this purpose, we follow the trajectory of the film critic Alex Viany since the beginning of his career, in the newspaper Di?rio da Noite (1935-36) and in the magazine Carioca (1937-45), going through the years in which he worked as a correspondent in Hollywood for the magazine O Cruzeiro (1945-48), until his return to Brazil, when he started to collaborate in the magazine A Cena Muda (1949-51) and edit, in partnership with Vin?cius de Moraes, the magazine Filme (1949). This is a phase that has been little studied in his critical production, which allowed us to evaluate their reactions and impressions in the face of concrete alternatives presented in the political and cinematographic scenario of the second half of the 1940s. Following the inverse path of Arthur Autran?s research, which analyzes the critical production of Alex Viany between the return of the United States, at the end of 1948, and the publication of the book Introdu??o ao Cinema Brasileiro, in 1959, we seek to discuss how the notions of determination (from the political party line) and mediation (from the ?field? of film criticism), as well as the ideological analyzes that informed this study, produced a reduction in the cinematographic thought of Alex Viany to the ?ideological framework? of the Brazilian Communist Party (PCB). In this sense, the study of Alex Viany?s previous intellectual trajectory aims to rescue the political dimension of his agency and reassess the formation of a realistic discourse in his cinematographic thought A presente disserta??o tem como foco a renova??o do pensamento cinematogr?fico brasileiro no segundo p?s-guerra.

It is known that the right and the left keys of a Kashiwara-Nakashima tableau in type $C$ can be computed using the Lecouvey-Sheats symplectic jeu de taquin. Motivated by Willis' direct way of computing type $A$ right and left keys, we also give a way of computing symplectic, right and left, keys without the use of symplectic jeu de taquin., Reference correction. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:2104.15000

In this paper we dwell over the study of the boundary layer problem in a hydrodynamical description of the electrons in gated graphene. It has been verified experimentally that this fluid can display non-Poiseuille like flow as reproduced in our numerical simulation. In fact, the velocity profile displays a maximum value close to the boundary and then decreases as it approaches the bulk of the graphene layer. This work aims to present a satisfactory theoretical description of the boundary layer problem in graphene. We found that by using the fluid equations and following a method similar to that for deriving Blasius' equation, a non-linear model can be obtained whose solutions display the maximum values of velocity near the edges of the graphene layer. We argue that such a non-monotonic model and behaviour can shed some light on the subject of non-topological edge currents in graphene.

- Abstract
This article discusses teaching practice in the COVID-19 pandemic period as an act, in its unique and unpredictable constitution during social distance and remote classes. For this, a testimonies of a teacher and a testimonies of a student are analyzed, texts that marked social media. Based on the Bakhtinian principles (2017) of the unrepeatable singularity of each subject and each act, and of the responsibility for the act, this reflection points to the fact that the center of pedagogical practices is the interactional relationship between students and teachers, subjects responsible for their ethical acts, in presential lessons or remote class., Este artigo aborda o fazer docente no período de pandemia da COVID-19 como ato, em sua constituição única e imprevisível durante o distanciamento social e as aulas remotas.

Given a Riemannian manifold $M,$ and an open interval $I\subset\mathbb{R},$ we characterize nontrivial totally umbilical hypersurfaces of the product $M\times I$ -- as well as of warped products $I\times_M$ -- as those which are local graphs built on isoparametric families of totally umbilical hypersurfaces of $M.$ By means of this characterization, we fully extend to $\mathbb{S}^n\times\mathbb{R}$ and $\mathbb{H}^n\times\mathbb{R}$ the results by Souam and Toubiana on the classification of totally umbilical hypersurfaces of $\mathbb{S}^2\times\mathbb{R}$ and $\mathbb{H}^2\times\mathbb{R}.$ It is also shown that an analogous classification holds for arbitrary warped products $I\times_\mathbb{S}^n$ and $I\times_\mathbb{H}^n.$

Disserta??o (Mestrado Profissional) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Educa??o, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2020. The Regional Teaching Superintendence (RTS) in Diamantina provides guidance for school administrators and serves the higher public authorities, in order to maintain educational wellbeing. The research delimited the studied to school administrators? performance who were responsible for an internal environment with their culture and organizational climate, as well as social work relationships. The research challenge was to find answers to the greatest difficulties faced by administrators in interpersonal relationships, and other internal environment factors that cause public servants? dissatisfaction and how to solve the organizational climate problem. In order to answer these questions, it was defined as a general objective to identify, through a public opinion survey, the perception of Diamantina RTS? employees regarding the influence of administrators on their job satisfaction, using the PMBOK? GUIDE tools and techniques to map the internal environment. Then, it was necessary to map, through public opinion research, the internal environment of Diamantina RTS, adopting the 10 knowledge areas in project management of the PMBOK? Guide as criteria. The criteria was selected in order to describe the satisfaction and dissatisfaction factors diagnosed in the mapping. In addition, it was analyzed using the multivariate statistical technique, and similarities were identified to suggest the implementation of a continuing education project for school managers, also using the PMBOK? Guide tools and techniques, in the three knowledge areas identified as the most deficient in the mapping phase. The research has an applied nature and a descriptive character, and also a qualitative approach method. For this, a survey was used as a data collector procedure, and the online questionnaire was answered by 34 public servants. Data interpretation was performed using clusters with the support of Microsoft Excel, Past 326b and Venngage softwares. According to many public employees, administrators have difficulties in passing on knowledge, teaching and improving techniques (67.64%), creativity and initiative problems in order to create confidence in daily living (52.95%) and division of labor (82,35%). Many of them are dissatisfied with the lack of work autonomy (55.88%). The factors that generate satisfaction to the employees are: like what they do, team integration, autonomy, being valued and listened to. On the other hand, the lack of improvement, training, career plans and communication but also not being valued at certain times and not being part of the decision makers generate dissatisfaction. The three most deficient knowledge areas are related to communication, resources and integration. It was possible to conclude that there is a perception discrepancy between the public servants of the personal board in relation to the other sectors of Diamantina RTS. Furthermore, communication management is the biggest cause of work dissatisfaction in the institution environment.

Deligne's celebrated "Riemann--Hilbert correspondence" relates representations of the fundamental group of a smooth complex algebraic variety and regular-singular integrable connections. In this work, we show how to arrive at a similar statement in the case of a smooth scheme $X$ over the spectrum of a ring $R=\mathbb C[[t_1,\ldots, t_r]]/I$. On one side of the correspondence we have representations on $R$-modules of the fundamental group of the special fibre, and on the other we have certain integrable $R$-connections admitting logarithmic models. The correspondence is then applied to give explicit examples of differential Galois groups of $\mathbb C[[t]]$--connections., 31 pages, final version, to appear in The Annali della Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa

Differential Geometry (math.DG) ,FOS: Mathematics ,Mathematics::Differential Geometry ,53B25 - Abstract
In this article we classify the conformally flat Euclidean hypersurfaces of dimension three with three distinct principal curvatures of $\mathbb{R}^4$, $\mathbb{S}^3\times \mathbb{R}$ and $\mathbb{H}^3\times \mathbb{R}$ with the property that the tangent component of the vector field $\partial/\partial t$ is a principal direction at any point. Here $\partial/\partial t$ stands for either a constant unit vector field in $\mathbb{R}^4$ or the unit vector field tangent to the factor $\mathbb{R}$ in the product spaces $\mathbb{S}^3\times \mathbb{R}$ and $\mathbb{H}^3\times \mathbb{R}$, respectively. Then we use this result to give a simple proof of an alternative classification of the cyclic conformally flat hypersurfaces of $\mathbb{R}^4$, that is, the conformally flat hypersurfaces of $\mathbb{R}^4$ with three distinct principal curvatures such that the curvature lines correspondent to one of its principal curvatures are extrinsic circles. We also characterize the cyclic conformally flat hypersurfaces of $\mathbb{R}^4$ as those conformally flat hypersurfaces of dimension three with three distinct principal curvatures for which there exists a conformal Killing vector field of $\mathbb{R}^4$ whose tangent component is an eigenvector field correspondent to one of its principal curvatures.

Z. 279 (2015) 557-576]. In the case of unimodular Lie groups it was shown that, except for the Euclidean space R3, unit sphere S3, soluble group Sol3 and the totally geodesics examples that appear in some special cases given by Tsukada [Kodai Math. J. 19 (3) (1996) 395-437], there are no fully umbilical surfaces. Moreover, there were obtained herein extensions of some results of Inoguchi and Van der Veken [Geom. Dedicata. 131 (2008) 159-172], Souam and Toubiana [Math. Helv. 84 (3) (2009) 673-704] and Tsukada [Kodai Math. J. 19 (3) (1996) 395-437], giving alternative proves for each case. In the case of non-unimodular Lie groups, the totally umbilical surfaces exist when the Lie group is isometric to the hyperbolic space H3 and to the product space H2 x R. Futhermore, in some special cases of non-unimodular Lie groups it was shown, up to ambient isometries, the existence of complete totally geodesics surfaces and complete totally umbilical one which are not totally geodesics. Nesta disserta????o, estudamos a classifica????o completa das superf??cies totalmente umb??licas imersas em variedades homog??neas tridimensionais, obtida no artigo intitulado "The classification of totally umbilical surfaces in homogeneous 3-manifolds" por Manzano e Souam [Math. Z. 279 (2015) 557-576].

We present a catalog of star clusters, associations and related extended objects in the Small Magellanic Cloud and the Magellanic Bridge with 2741 entries, a factor 2 more than a previous version from a decade ago. Literature data till December 2018 are included. The identification of star clusters was carried out with digital atlases in various bands currently available in DSS and MAMA imaging surveys. In particular, we cross-identified recent cluster samples from the VMC, OGLE-IV and SMASH surveys, confirming new clusters and pointing out equivalencies. A major contribution of the present catalog consists in the accurate central positions for clusters and small associations, including a new sample of 45 clusters or candidates in the SMC and 19 in the Bridge, as well as a compilation of the most reliable age and metallicity values from the literature. A general catalog must also deal with the recent discoveries of 27 faint and ultra-faint star clusters and galaxies projected on the far surroundings of the Clouds, most of them from the DES survey. The information on these objects has been complemented with photometric, spectroscopic and kinematical follow-up data from the literature. The underluminous galaxies around the Magellanic System, still very few as compared to the predictions from $\Lambda$ Cold Dark Matter simulations, can bring constraints to galaxy formation and hierarchical evolution. Furthermore, we provide diagnostics, when possible, of the nature of the ultra-faint clusters, searching for borders of the Magellanic System extensions into the Milky Way gravitational potential., Comment: 21 pages, 13 figures and 4 tables. Updated to match accepted version in AJ. The updated catalog is provided in full as ancillary file

Differential Geometry (math.DG) ,FOS: Mathematics - Abstract
We consider gradient Ricci solitons conformal to a $n$-dimensional pseudo-Euclidean space and we completely describe the most general ansatz that reduces the resulting system of partial differential equations to a system of ordinary differential equations. As a consequence, the gradient Ricci solitons that arise from the reduced system are invariant under the action of either an $(n-1)$-dimensional translation group or the pseudo-orthogonal group acting on the corresponding $n$-dimensional pseudo-Euclidean space.

In the 1st part of this work [DHdS18], we studied affine group schemes over a discrete valuation ring (DVR) by means of Neron blowups. We also showed how to apply these findings to throw light on the group schemes coming from Tannakian categories of D-modules. In the present work, we follow up this theme. We show that a certain class of affine group schemes of "infinite type", Neron blowups of formal subgroups, are quite typical. We also explain how these group schemes appear naturally in Tannakian categories of D-modules. To conclude, we isolate a Tannakian property of affine group schemes, named prudence, which allows one to verify if the underlying ring of functions is a free module over the base ring. This is then successfully applied to obtain a general result on the structure of differential Galois groups over complete DVRs., 32 pages, final version, to appear in Int. Math. Res. Notices

Given a quotient vector bundle $\mathcal A$ over $X$ with kernel map $: X\to\mathrm{Max}\,A$ we study the codual bundle with fiber at each point $x\in X$ isomorphic to the dual of $(x)$. Applying the adjunction between quotient vector bundles and linearized locales to the codual bundle leads to a new adjunction between the category of all quotient vector bundles and a category whose objects are locales $L$ equipped with a contravariant morphism $L\to\mathrm{Max}\, A$.

However, the transition from conventional agriculture to organic agriculture have specifics, which take in count the social, environmental and economic aspects, principally in regions were agricultural activities are performed by family farmers. The case study is about the scenario of organic production in the northwest region of the Rio de Janeiro state, more specifically, the evolution of family farmers who are members of social control organizations (OCS) since the implementation of the PAIS project in 2009 and the support promoted by the Rio Rural Program. By analyzing the existing documentation, observing and participating in the dynamics of construction of agroecological knowledge, and formulating surveys, it was possible to verify the effectiveness of the public policies that operate in the region and to identify the difficulties encountered by organic producers in the region in the process of guaranteeing organic conformity and adequacy with organic legislation. Of the 165 units of PAIS project, implemented since 2009, 98 have converted to organic agriculture in 2014, with the passing of the years and the terminus of the period of technical assistance and project execution, these numbers suffered a fall, in 2017 there were 48 units active in the the National Register of Organic Production - CNPO. The results show the necessity of adjusts (mainly in the continuity of ATER support) and investments in social control activities that facilitate the adequacy of these farmers, avoiding abandonment in the implementation of organic production and stimulating the participation of organized groups in the market channels of direct sale (PAA, PNAE, fairs, baskets) A agroecologia e a produ??o org?nica t?m crescido no Brasil a partir dos anos 80 como alternativas ao modelo de desenvolvimento rural preconizado pela revolu??o verde.

This dissertation presents a study about the fictionalization and the representation of death in the short stories of the Brazilian writer Lygia Fagundes Telles. Starting from the idea that the perspective of finitude has always threatened the human beings, it was analyzed how death unfolds and varies in different short stories from different works of Telles? literary trajectory. Therefore, the aforementioned writer writes and rewrites death in different ways in her narratives, showing diverse aspects of this matter, also seeking to deepen the comprehension of the biggest enigma of all times, the one that chases the mankind since the beginnings until nowadays. It was verified that in the studied short stories there are two kinds of approaches to death that are portrayed: the death of the other and the death of oneself. Besides, it was discussed how the aesthetic fruition of literature can pacify and help people in the searching for comprehension and acceptance of death. Due to complexity of death?s matter, it was necessary to get into theories and concepts of other subjects, such as: anthropology, philosophy, history of mentalities, psychology, psychoanalysis and sociology. Mainly, Lygia Fagundes Telles, while fictionalizing the finitude, seeks to immerse and get into the mysteries of human existence, calling her readers to embark on narratives where death and life seem to be amalgamated. This theoretical study presents a D-shaped photonic crystal fiber (PCF) surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based sensor designed for humidity detection in transformer oil. Humidity refers to the presence of water dissolved or suspended in the oil, which can affect its dielectric properties and, consequently, the efficiency and safety of the transformer’s operation, failures in the sealing system and the phenomenon of condensation can be the main sources of this humidity. This sensor leverages the unique properties of the coupling between surface plasmons and fiber guided mode at the Au-PCF interface to enhance the sensitivity to humidity changes in the external environment. The research demonstrated the sensor’s efficacy in monitoring humidity levels ranging from 0% to 100% with an average sensitivity of measured at 1106.1 nm/RIU. This high sensitivity indicates a substantial shift in the resonance wavelength corresponding to minor changes in the refractive index caused by varying humidity levels, which is critically important in the context of transformer maintenance and safety. Transformer oil serves as both an insulator and a coolant, and its humidity level is a key parameter influencing the performance and longevity of transformers. Excessive humidity can lead to insulation failure and reduced efficiency and, therefore, the ability to accurately detect and monitor humidity levels in transformer oil can significantly enhance preventive maintenance strategies, reduce downtime, and prevent potential failures, ensuring the reliable operation of electrical power systems.

This study investigated the effectiveness of a coil-shaped optical fiber interferometric sensor, with a diameter of 13 mm, for measuring compression. The sensor’s design utilizes the principles of interferometry to create a pattern that changes with applied pressure. This configuration significantly amplifies the sensor’s sensitivity to compression due to the extended optical path length within the compact form factor. The experimental results demonstrated that even small compressive forces caused detectable alterations in the interference pattern, allowing for precise quantification of pressure changes. The 13 mm diameter proved to be particularly advantageous, providing a balance between sensitivity and practical integration into various systems, from structural health monitoring to biomedical devices. This study also highlights the sensor’s robustness against electromagnetic interference and environmental variations, attributing this to the intrinsic properties of optical fiber. Overall, the findings suggest that coil-shaped optical fiber interferometric sensors are highly effective for accurate and reliable compression sensing, with potential for broad application across multiple industries.

We apply deep learning methods, specifically long short-term memory (LSTM) networks, to music transcription modelling and composition. We build and train LSTM networks using approximately 23,000 music transcriptions expressed with a high-level vocabulary (ABC notation), and use them to generate new transcriptions. Our practical aim is to create music transcription models useful in particular contexts of music composition. We present results from three perspectives: 1) at the population level, comparing descriptive statistics of the set of training transcriptions and generated transcriptions; 2) at the individual level, examining how a generated transcription reflects the conventions of a music practice in the training transcriptions (Celtic folk); 3) at the application level, using the system for idea generation in music composition. We make our datasets, software and sound examples open and available: \url{https://github.com/IraKorshunova/folk-rnn}., 16 pages, 4 figures, contribution to 1st Conference on Computer Simulation of Musical Creativity

Let $(X ,x_0)$ be a pointed smooth proper variety defined over an algebraically closed field. The Albanese morphism for $(X ,x_0)$ produces a homomorphism from the abelianization of the $F$-divided fundamental group scheme of $X$ to the $F$-divided fundamental group of the Albanese variety of $X$. We prove that this homomorphism is surjective with finite kernel. The kernel is also described., Final version

A complete classification of such surfaces is given in terms of their first and second fundamental forms and by linear solutions of the corresponding angle function. The classification is obtained by using the Bianchi-Spivak construction for flat surfaces and a representation for constant angle surfaces in $\mathbb{S}^3$., 14 pages, 3 figures

FOS: Computer and information sciences ,Distributed, Parallel, and Cluster Computing (cs.DC) - Abstract
Nowadays, clusters of multicores are becoming the norm and, although, many or-parallel Prolog systems have been developed in the past, to the best of our knowledge, none of them was specially designed to explore the combination of shared and distributed memory architectures. In recent work, we have proposed a novel computational model specially designed for such combination which introduces a layered model with two scheduling levels, one for workers sharing memory resources, which we named a team of workers, and another for teams of workers (not sharing memory resources). In this work, we present a first implementation of such model and for that we revive and extend the YapOr system to exploit or-parallelism between teams of workers. We also propose a new set of built-in predicates that constitute the syntax to interact with an or-parallel engine in our platform. Experimental results show that our implementation is able to increase speedups as we increase the number of workers per team, thus taking advantage of the maximum number of cores in a machine, and to increase speedups as we increase the number of teams, thus taking advantage of adding more computer nodes to a cluster. We thus argue that our platform is an efficient and viable alternative for exploiting implicit or-parallelism in the currently available clusters of low cost multicore architectures., Paper presented at the 32nd International Conference on Logic Programming (ICLP 2016), New York City, USA, 16-21 October 2016, 15 pages

We define a notion of morphism for quotient vector bundles that yields both a category $\textit{QVBun}$ and a contravariant global sections functor $C:\textit{QVBun}^{\textrm{op}}\to\textit{Vect}$ whose restriction to trivial vector bundles with fiber $F$ coincides with the contravariant functor $\textit{Top}^{\textrm{op}}\to\textit{Vect}$ of $F$-valued continuous functions. Based on this we obtain a linear extension of the adjunction between the categories of topological spaces and locales: (i) a linearized topological space is a spectral vector bundle, by which is meant a mildly restricted type of quotient vector bundle; (ii) a linearized locale is a locale $\triangle$ equipped with both a topological vector space $A$ and a $\triangle$-valued support map for the elements of $A$ satisfying a continuity condition relative to the spectrum of $\triangle$ and the lower Vietoris topology on $\operatorname{Sub} A$; (iii) we obtain an adjunction between the full subcategory of spectral vector bundles $\textit{QVBun}_$ and the category of linearized locales $\textit{LinLoc}$, which restricts to an equivalence of categories between sober spectral vector bundles and spatial linearized locales. The spectral vector bundles are classified by a finer topology on $\operatorname{Sub} A$, called the open support topology, but there is no notion of universal spectral vector bundle for an arbitrary topological vector space $A$., 40 pages. Version 5 differs from 4 only in typesetting style and in the numbering of theorems, lemmas and examples (which now coincides with that of the published version). Version 6 corrects typos in pp. 2 and 20 ("span" was missing in the definition of gamma), and in the proof of Th. 6.16

Research purpose. The main objective of this work is to highlight the adoption of project management practices in companies’ digital transformation initiatives as a critical success factor. Thus, on the one hand, we will seek to systematize the importance of project management practices in the digital transformation of economic organizations and, on the other hand, analyze them based on a digital transformation project of one of the largest publishing groups in Portugal. Having previously studied the process of digital transformation of the warehouse through the adoption of a Warehouse Management System, it is now important to analyze to what extent the transformation process was successful and to what extent the management as a project contributed to the achievement of the intended objectives and generated economic value.

The healthcare has several goods that require special care, which include a correct handling in monitored and controlled environment throughout the production, transport and storage processes. Among these goods we can highlight temperaturesensitive drugs, which need to be kept cold throughout the whole process until be administered to the patient. These precautions are extremely important to maintain the physical and chemical integrity of the medication, preventing unnecessary waste due to its deterioration or inactivation, and avoiding possible damage to the patient. This work proposes the development of a monitoring system for the pharmaceutical cold chain based on RFID to be used during transport and storage of drugs prior to administration in patients. The system consists of RFID readers, passive tags, semi-passive tags coupled with sensors (BAP tags), a database and a remote web server. To colaborate with the system conception, a BAP tag was developed to monitor temperature conditions during transport and storage of products, using ultra-low power techniques and smart memory management. The results demonstrate that the developed BAP tag consumes only 0.1 uA in Sleep mode and 3.28 uA in Active mode, it has a high sensitivity of -27 dBm and it can store up to 32.7 k temperature samples in a 128 kbits memory. With this consumption profile, BAP tag can continuously monitor temperature for up to 7 years without battery replacement with a 5 minute sampling interval. In addition to the BAP tag, two software for RFID readers have been developed for use in conjunction with the mentioned BAP tag, sending the monitoring data to the remote server.

Given an arbitrary topological complex vector space $A$, a quotient vector bundle for $A$ is a quotient of a trivial vector bundle $_2:A\times X\to X$ by a fiberwise linear continuous open surjection. We show that this notion subsumes that of a Banach bundle over a locally compact Hausdorff space $X$. Hyperspaces consisting of linear subspaces of $A$, topologized with natural topologies that include the lower Vietoris topology and the Fell topology, provide classifying spaces for various classes of quotient vector bundles, in a way that generalizes the classification of locally trivial vector bundles by Grassmannians. If $A$ is normed, a finer hyperspace topology is introduced that classifies bundles with continuous norm, including Banach bundles, and such that bundles of constant finite rank must be locally trivial., Version 2 fixed a problem with the definition of the closed balls topology (section 5). Version 3 mainly fixed typos and improved presentation

The exposure of viticulture to climate change and extreme weather conditions makes the winemaking sector particularly vulnerable, being one of its major challenges in the current century. While grapevine is considered a highly tolerant crop to several abiotic stresses, Mediterranean areas are frequently affected by adverse environmental factors, namely water scarcity, heat and high irradiance, and are especially vulnerable to climate change. Due to the high socio-economic value of this sector in Europe, the study of adaptation strategies to mitigate the negative climate change impacts are of main importance for its sustainability and competitiveness. Adaptation strategies include all the set of actions and processes that can be performed in response to climate change. It is crucial to improve agronomic strategies to offset the loss of productivity and likely changes in production and fruit quality. It is important to look for new insights concerning response mechanisms to these stresses to advance with more effective and precise measures. These measures should be adjusted to local terroirs and regional climate change projections for the sustainable development of the winemaking sector. This review describes the direct climate change impacts (on phenology, physiology, yield and berry quality), risks, and uncertainties for Mediterranean viticulture, as well as a set of canopy, soil and water management practices that winegrowers can use to adapt their vines to warmer and drier conditions.

Research purpose. Through the adoption of the concept of the Proof of Concept, the main objective of this work is to highlight the approach that allows the framework and study of the viability of investments in the digital transformation of companies. The research focuses on the publishing sector and, mainly, on one of the largest publishing groups in Portugal and focuses on the strategic decision, due to the covid-19 pandemic situation, to adopt a Warehouse Management System to increase productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability of the company under study. Due to the need for confinement, publishers saw their sales drop drastically and the option of e-commerce implied the need for adjustments in the organizational dynamics associated with the distribution of products. The research/paper goal is to show the viability of investments in the digital transformation of companies in order to enlarge their efficiency and effectiveness.

FOS: Computer and information sciences ,Programming Languages (cs.PL) - Abstract
Mode-directed tabling is an extension to the tabling technique that supports the definition of mode operators for specifying how answers are inserted into the table space. In this paper, we focus our discussion on the efficient support for mode directed-tabling in the YapTab tabling system. We discuss 7 different mode operators and explain how we have extended and optimized YapTab's table space organization to support them. Initial experimental results show that our implementation compares favorably with the B-Prolog and XSB state-of-the-art Prolog tabling systems., Appeared in CICLOPS 2012. 15 Pages, 12 Figures

We consider conformally flat hypersurfaces in four dimensional space forms with their associated Guichard nets and Lam's system of equations. We show that the symmetry group of the Lam's system, satisfying Guichard condition, is given by translations and dilations in the independent variables and dilations in the dependents variables. We obtain the solutions which are invariant under the action of the 2-dimensional subgroups of the symmetry group. For the solutions which are invariant under translations, we obtain the corresponding conformally flat hypersurfaces and we describe the corresponding Guichard nets. We show that the coordinate surfaces of the Guichard nets have constant Gaussian curvature, and the sum of the three curvatures is equal to zero. Moreover, the Guichard nets are foliated by flat surfaces with constant mean curvature. We prove that there are solutions of the Lam's system, given in terms of Jacobi elliptic functions, which are invariant under translations, that correspond to a new class of conformally flat hypersurfaces.

FOS: Mathematics ,Algebraic Topology (math.AT) - Abstract
We study the moduli space $\mathfrak M_k^r(\tilde{\mathbb P}^2_{\!q})$ of rank $r$ holomorphic bundles with trivial determinant and second Chern class $c_2=k$, over the blowup $\tilde{\mathbb P}^2_{\!q}$ of the projective plane at $q$ points, trivialized on a rational curve. We show that, for $k=1,2$, we have a homotopy equivalence between $\mathfrak M_k^r(\tilde{\mathbb P}^2_{\!q})$ and the degree $k$ component of the bar construction $\mathrm{B}\bigl(\mathfrak M^r\mathbb P^2,(\mathfrak M^r\mathbb P^2)^{q},(\mathfrak M^r\tilde{\mathbb P}_{\!1}^2)^{q}\bigr)$. The space $\mathfrak M_k^r(\tilde{\mathbb P}^2_{\!q})$ is isomorphic to the moduli space $\mathfrak M\mathcal I_k^r(X_q)$ of charge $k$ based $SU(r)$ instantons on a connected sum $X_q$ of $q$ copies of $\overline{\mathbb P^2}$ and we show that, for $k=1,2$, we have a homotopy equivalence between $\mathfrak M\mathcal I_k^r(X_q\# X_s)$ and the degree $k$ component of $\mathrm{B}\bigl(\mathfrak M\mathcal I^r(X_q),\mathfrak M\mathcal I^r(S^4),\mathfrak M\mathcal I^r(X_s)\bigr)$. Analogous results hold in the limit when $k\to\infty$. As an application we obtain upper bounds for the cokernel of the Atiyah-Jones map in homology, in the rank-stable limit., Final version
