Background and Study Aim. High-intensity interval training (HIIT) has become a popular exercise choice for people who have limited time but aim to maximize their workout results. This study aims to compare the impacts of high-intensity running interval training (HIRIT) and high-intensity progressive resistance training (HIPRT) on oxidative stress biomarkers and antioxidant levels in healthy young males. Material and Methods. The study included 30 healthy male adolescents aged 20–23 years who participated in HIRIT and HIPRT interventions over a four-week period. Data were collected by measuring levels of Malondialdehyde (MDA) and Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) as biomarkers of oxidative stress and antioxidants. These measurements were obtained before and after the intervention using Colorimetric Assay Kits. Data analysis was performed using paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests with a significance level set at 5%. Results. The results showed a significant decrease in MDA levels in both high-intensity training interventions. However, SOD levels increased significantly only in the high-intensity running interval training group (p ≤ 0.05). Additionally, comparisons between groups revealed a reduction in MDA levels and an increase in SOD levels (p ≤ 0.05). Conclusions. These findings suggest that both high-intensity running interval training and high-intensity progressive resistance training, conducted over a four-week period, are effective in reducing oxidative stress. Additionally, both types of training increase antioxidant levels in healthy young men. However, high-intensity running interval training proved to be more effective in reducing MDA levels and increasing SOD levels.

This study aims to investigate the effect of using augmented reality (AR) on increasing the level of grit and learning satisfaction among student-athletes. We adopted mixed-methods sequential explanatory design. A total of 40 student-athletes, participants were allocated into control group (CG, n = 20), and experiment group (AR, n = 20). The results of quantitative research based on the Paired sample t-test show that there are significant pre- and post-test differences in CG (p < 0.050, and AR (p < 0.05) in grit and satisfaction. Background: Physical activity (PA) and physical fitness (PF) are essential for preschool children's development. However, rising childhood obesity and sedentary lifestyles are concerning. A comprehensive analysis of the research landscape is necessary to inform better interventions and policies. Research Objectives: This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of research on physical activity and physical fitness among preschool children in Asia from 2020 to 2024. Methods: The analysis was based on publications from Scopus and Web of Science, focussing on keyword co-occurrence, citation analysis, and co-authorship networks. We used tools like ScientoPy and VOSviewer to assess key metrics such as the number of publications, citations, and influential contributors. Findings/Results: The study reveals significant trends, with a peak in research productivity in 2022, reflecting heightened global attention on early physical health. China, Japan, and Iran led contributions, with China dominating in publication volume. Notable researchers included Saeed Ghorbani and emerging contributors Ahmad Chaeroni and Amir Dana. Leading journals, such as the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health and Frontiers in Public Health, were prominent sources. Conclusion: Despite a decline in productivity post-2022, PA and PF research for preschoolers remains important. These shifting trends provide opportunities for researchers to explore new areas or innovate approaches. Significant contributions from Asian researchers also indicate a geographic shift in the global research focus. This study also highlights the importance of physical activity in preschoolers and how trends in scientific publications can help policymakers formulate more effective interventions to improve children's fitness.

Study purpose. Mastering the fundamentals of soccer is essential for skill development. Therefore, employing effective training techniques becomes crucial to enhance these fundamental soccer skills. This study aims to discern: (1) Variations in the impact of the 3 vs. 3 small-sided game method compared to the 6 vs. 6 small-sided game method on fundamental soccer skills; (2) Disparities in the impact of high and low VO2max levels on fundamental soccer skills; and (3) The repercussions of the interaction between the 3 vs. 3 small-sided game method and the 6 vs. 6 small-sided game method in conjunction with VO2max levels (high and low). Materials and Methods. A 2 x 2 factorial design was used for this experimental study methodology. 24 athletes, including 12 from the Sports Talent School (STS) West Sumatra football academy and 12 from the Indonesia Muda Soccer School, served as the research subjects. The Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Level 1 test is the tool used to measure VO2max. The "David Lee" competence test has been adopted as the yardstick for gauging fundamental soccer abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the policy of Termination of Football Competitions during the Covid 19 Pandemic which was issued by PSSI for clubs and players. The research was conducted using a qualitative method, where semi-structured interview data were collected from participants, such as data from direct observations of participants and documentation studies. Data analysis was continued using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the policy of stopping the Football competition during the Covid-19 Pandemic has caused the club to experience financial problems due to the termination of the competition due to the decrease in incoming sponsors, and for players the impact on the economy of all players is disrupted because PSSI recommends each club to giving players only 25% salary, not only in terms of economy, the physical condition/fitness of players is also disrupted due to limited training grounds. Thus, the policy of stopping competition during the Covid-19 pandemic can work again in order to increase the club's finances and regenerate the economy of the entire Indonesian community, especially the economy of the players.

The danger of this virus has forced the government to implement various regulations to reduce the level of spread and infection, one of which is by staying at home. Staying at home and staying away from socialization that is usually done makes individuals get various mental problems which of course have an impact on the human condition itself, so it is important for individuals to still have mental toughness. In this study, the authors wanted to examine the effect of implementing COVID-19 gymnastics that had been made previously on mental toughness in adults people in Indonesia. The experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design was used in this study. COVID-19 gymnastics for 6 weeks was given to 150 subjects by professional gymnastics instructors. Before and after being given treatment, the subject filled out the Mental Toughness Inventory (MTI) which was prepared beforehand to obtain data, after which data analysis was carried out using SPSS Version 24. The results showed that there was a significant effect of COVID-19 gymnastics on increasing mental toughness in adults people in Indonesia. In addition, the COVID-19 gymnastics was proven to be effective in providing an increase in results between the pretest and the posttest by 3.6%. This study concludes that the application of COVID-19 gymnastics has a positive effect on mental toughness in adults people in Indonesia, so it can be an alternative activity to avoid various mental health problems, especially during a pandemic like this. The author suggests that every individual remains active in exercising even in situations and conditions that are full of limitations, one of which can be done by doing COVID-19 gymnastics.

This study investigates the use of a health gate sterilizer on its impact on the work motivation of education personnel during the post-COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is an experiment with a pre-test/post-test group design. This research was carried out for 8 weeks on 120 education staff at an educational institution. Education personnel was chosen because of their importance to the education sector in Indonesia after the COVID-19 pandemic was very disrupted. The treatment given is the use of a health gate sterilizer for educational staff to feel safe and comfortable so that they are expected to be motivated in their work. The results showed that there was a significant and positive effect of the use of a health gate sterilizer on the work motivation of educational staff in educational institutions. From this research, it can be concluded that the use of a health gate sterilizer must continue to be used in order to have a positive impact on motivating one’s work because it does provide a sense of security and comfort from the COVID- 19 virus.

Objectives: The presence of modern technology today reaches all aspects of life, including teachers' supervision, developed through a touch of technology. One of them is the supervision of a teacher learning system for their students on a virtual basis. This study aimed to analyze the supervisor's perception of the need to develop a virtual-based supervision model that the researcher would create. The development of this supervision model is necessary because it is considered that currently, supervision has not been running optimally and effectively. Therefore, before the development of the supervision model, the researchers conducted a needs analysis. Methods: The method used was a qualitative research approach, with interviews and document studies as data collection techniques to gain what supervisors wanted and needed in increasing teacher supervision. The subjects of this study were the supervisors of education in West Java Province. Results: The results of this study found that supervisors need to develop a supervision model to increase the supervision of teachers. Of course, the supervisors agreed with the development of virtual-based supervision. So that supervision will be something needed by supervisors. Conclusions: Based on the need for optimization and the effectiveness of supervision, the supervisor's perception indicates that they strongly agree with this development.

The sense of responsibility to educate students as "whole people" which lies on the shoulders of all higher education managers, sports programs will continue to have strategic programs in the higher education system in Indonesia. Therefore, researchers conducted a normative and juridical literature review to examine sports in higher education. The results of this review indicate that Article 35 (3) of the Higher Education Curriculum Law No. 12 of 2012 concerning sports higher education is needed to be used as a compulsory subject in higher education. Overall, this review provides an appropriate reference point for further research by identifying the need for research in the aspect of sports needs, especially making sports a compulsory subject in college as a form of realizing a whole human being. However, there are weaknesses and inequalities in several aspects. This research is a novelty in the study of sports policy analysis in Indonesia.

Background: In the past years, Esport has been a phenomenon. It lies in a discussion of whether accepting esport as a part of sport categories or not. In fact, many argue about this because it has an impact on the physical activity and lifestyle of the players. This study focuses on the analysis of physical activity and lifestyle of esport athletes competing in annual sporting events throughout Indonesia. Method: In this study data collected from 50 athletes consisting of all men. The measurement method used in measuring the level of physical activity is the International Physical Activities Questionnaire (IPAQ). Result: From the completed questionnaire, it was found that the level of physical activity of the athletes reached 3120.2 (± 24.3) METs. This figure shows that athletes are still included in the category of high physical activity. Conclusion: The average level of physical activity of esport athletes is in the high category.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran renang di MTs se-Kecamatan Leles, Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yaitu dengan menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Jumlah sampel adalah 90 siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dari 9 MTs Swasta di kecamatan Leles, Garut. Analisis menggunakan statistic STAT97, hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran renang secara keseluruhan di MTs se-Kecamatan Leles, Garut telah dilaksanakan sebesar 53.85%, dengan kategori cukup, diambil dari tiga faktor yang diteliti yaitu faktor perencanaan pembelajaran 60.96%, faktor keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 47.00%, dan faktor evaluasi pembelajaran 53.59% yang didasarkan pada hasil penghitungan persentase dari instrumen berupa kuesioner yang diisi oleh siswa.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of low impact aerobic exercise training models, and bench models also exercise motivation on decreasing percentage of body fat. This research was conducted at one of the fitness centers in Jakarta. This research is planned to take place for three months with activities covering the testing of research instruments, initial data collection for sample grouping, experimentation and final data collection. This study uses an experimental method with a simple 2 X 2 factorial design. After the data collection is done, based on the data obtained, the results of hypothesis testing and discussion of research results can be summarized as follows: 1) there are significant differences between low impact aerobics models and bench models against decrease in percentage of body fat, bench training model is better than low impact training on decreasing percentage of body fat; 2) there is a difference in the decrease in body fat percentage between bench exercise models and low impact exercises for high-motivated sports groups. In other words, members who have high sports motivation tend to use the exercise bench model; 3) Members who have low sports motivation tend to use the low impact exercise model better than the bench exercise model in decreasing the percentage of body fat; 4) There is an interaction between the exercise model and exercise motivation to decrease the percentage of body fat.

Physical education, early childhood is a very important aspect for the development of cognitive abilities, affective and psychomotor children in preparing towards the level of elementary school. In the practice of physical education early childhood face various problems of learning activities, amenities, social circumstances and the Government's policy that gives less attention to physical education early childhood. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method that aims to find in depth and in-depth research information, this research took place in Amarilis Early Childhood Education, Lembang Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency involving 3 teachers and 35 children at an early age, data collection technique using interviews, and analysis and perform data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and conclusions deduction. Results of the study indicate that there is a marked change in cognitive ability with problem solving through group activities, affective abilities change with a marked sense of caring between the fellow and the change of psikomotor with marked the dexterity of the child early in the game through educational activities-based nature, as well as an increase in interest in early childhood learning, physical education. ABSTRAK Pendidikan jasmani anak usia dini merupakan aspek yang sangat penting bagi perkembangan kemampuan kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor anak dalam mempersiapkan menuju jenjang sekolah dasar. Dalam praktik pendidikan jasmani anak usia dini menghadapi berbagai masalah dari kegiatan pembelajaran, fasilitas, keadaan sosial dan kebijakan pemerintah yang kurang memberikan perhatian terhadap pendidikan jasmani anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan penelitian secara rinci dan mendalam, penelitian ini bertempat di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Amarilis, Kecamatan Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan melibatkan 3 Guru dan 35 anak usia dini, teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi serta melakukan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perubahan kemampuan kognitif dengan ditandai pemecahan masalah melalui kegiatan kelompok, perubahan kemampuan afektif dengan ditandai rasa peduli antar sesama dan perubahan psikomotor dengan ditandai kecekatan anak usia dini dalam melakukan aktivitas melalui permainan edukatif berbasis alam, serta adanya peningkatan minat anak usia dini terhadap pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani.

This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature on sports nutrition as recovery published between 1964 and 2022. This study illustrates the structure and trends in sports nutrition publications by using scientific mapping and analyzing publication performance. This study identified the contributions of authors, journals, countries, and widely cited articles. While there was no massive expansion in the first year of publication, the results show that high growth emerged in the 2010s. Several countries have made significant contributions to recovery research in sports nutrition. European countries account for the majority of publications on this subject. Latin American and Asian countries are also keeping an eye on the study's growth. Another finding is that various multidisciplinary publishers publish articles about sports nutrition. The International Journal of Sports Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism, on the other hand, is the journal that publishes the most articles. Burke L.M. has established himself as a prolific writer in this field, producing many documents and total citations. Several keywords have large nodes associated with their frequency of occurrence. The keyword relationship provides information about the relationship between keywords frequently appearing in one study. Visualizations of research trends are presented to provide an up-to-date reference guide for academics, revealing critical research gaps and potential research avenues for future studies to advance the discipline's consolidation.

Elite sports are one of the keys to developing sports as enshrined in the Sports Law. In this law, sport is positioned as an instrument for national development. However, it is more dominated by the sports development paradigm, even though Indonesia's sports achievements have significantly developed in several international sports competitions. It is contributed through the coaching factor through sports training education from an early age under the auspices of sports education at the school level. However, the impact has not been able to influence other aspects of national development more broadly. It has become a gap between what is stated in the Sports Law and practice in the field. Therefore, this research aims to examine the implementation of elite sports policies as part of the Sports Law to realize development through sports. To achieve the objectives of this study, we designed eleven semi-structured interview indicators based on the essence of the elite sports section of the sports law. This study found that the implementation of applied elite sports policies was close to conformity with the sports law. However, on the other hand, there are still shortcomings and inequities in several aspects. Inequality in several aspects occurs due to a lack of understanding of the importance of the role of sport as an instrument of national development. Therefore, the government as a stakeholder must immediately act decisively to deal with the problems. The implications of this research can be considered for evaluating the implementation of policies that will be implemented in the future.

Technology and health are interrelated, along with the development of technology accompanied by increasing health demands due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study aims to rethink the use of technology in exercising to maintain health. The focus of the study in this research is the relationship between the use of technology and health through COVID-19 healthy gymnastics. The method used in this research is to use a cross-sectional survey online. This method is used because the survey can be done anytime and anywhere, which can be more practical. The data collection instrument used is an online survey using the Google form application. This application is suitable for use in a practical and effective data collection process. Then to measure and find out the results of the data collected, the researcher used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software with a bivariate correlation coefficient test. The subjects of this study were UPI students who contracted physical education courses and sport. The results of this study indicate that there is a very high relationship between technology and health through COVID-19 healthy gymnastics. This study concluded that students who would be aware of their health by doing sports optimize the use of technology to support their sports activities.

Exercise is one way to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Aerobic exercise is a very popular choice for many people. Therefore, this study aims to develop exercise in maintaining and improving aerobic health. One of the most popular aerobic sports is gymnastics. In addition, with the development of aerobic exercise, it is also hoped that people will be more interested in exercising. Research and development methods are used in this study to produce and test the developed product's effectiveness. In carrying out this research, we innovated the product of the COVID-19 healthy exercise movement in preventing the spread of COVID-19 based on technology presented in a video and disseminated on digital media platforms. From the effectiveness test results, it was found that this COVID-19 healthy exercise product was feasible and effective to use to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This research implies that the exercise developed can be used by everyone to help maintain the body's immunity.

The implementation of peace education in the university environment has not yet found the right technical implementation, so the main goal in peace education has not been achieved, especially the application in the university environment. Therefore, this research aims to determine the general perception of board games as a media of peace education for students. This study uses a survey method collected from a representative sample of students from three different universities. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling aimed at students who have courses in which peace education is integrated. The research locations this time are the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). This study indicates that students are very enthusiastic if this board game becomes a platform for delivering peace education in the student environment. This study concludes that students agree with the concept of delivering peace education through board game media.

Epithelioid hemangiosarcoma (EH), a rare histological variant of hemangiosarcoma, is reported in various animal species, including humans, dogs, cows, horses, and cats. Epithelioid hemangiosarcomas are composed of highly pleomorphic epithelioid cells arranged in cords, islands, nests, or solid cellular areas, similar to epithelial neoplasms. Moreover, in humans, approximately 50% of EHs have cytoplasmic immunolabeling for cytokeratin AE1/AE3 (CK AE1/AE3), making it challenging to distinguish them from carcinomas. This retrospective study assessed the CK AE1/AE3 immunolabeling in canine EH cases from 5 veterinary institutions. Immunohistochemistry for CD31 and CK AE1/AE3 was performed on 30 cases. CK AE1/AE3 immunolabeling was detected in 43% (13/30) of cases, with cytoplasmic labeling ranging from 5% to 100% of neoplastic cells. All tumors consistently had membranous immunolabeling for CD31. The CK AE1/AE3 immunolabeling pattern in canine EHs closely resembled those documented in humans, indicating a similar diagnostic challenge. Therefore, it is recommended to include a vascular immunohistochemistry marker, such as CD31, whenever EH is suspected, particularly in small incisional cutaneous and subcutaneous biopsies. Technological advances in sports testing and measurement are expanding, but there is a notable gap in research focused on physical conditioning tests for athletes with disabilities. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of footwork ability test technology for para badminton athletes. A quantitative descriptive design was employed, involving trials with both the footwork ability test technology and conventional methods. The subjects were National Para Badminton Athletes of Malaysia, selected through purposive sampling for their relevance to the research objectives. The study utilized a footwork ability test device, whose validity and reliability were assessed in comparison to conventional tests. Data were analyzed using percentage calculation techniques to determine effectiveness and error rates. Results indicate that the footwork ability test technology achieved an effectiveness rate of 97.1%, demonstrating superior performance with a lower error rate than conventional tests. This indicates the technology's suitability for athletes with disabilities, including those categorized as lower standing, upper standing, and short stature. The findings suggest significant potential for broader application in various sports disciplines. Future research should explore the technology's adaptability to different sports and environmental conditions, contributing to more inclusive and advanced training methodologies for athletes with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to use the Sports Policy Factors Leading to International Sporting Success (SPLISS 2.0) instrument and the nine pillars of elite sports success approach to survey and assess the success factors of coaching. Athletes from eight districts or cities in Central Java that had paragliding organizations, as well as chairs, secretaries, treasurers, and coaches were included in the survey. Data were analyzed through SPLISS 2.0 reports and quantitative analysis methods. Potential success factors were determined quantitatively using 96 CSFs assigned to a score of 0-1 based on nine pillars. Findings show that Banyumas, Grobogan, the Semarang district, and Karanganyar are the four regions offering the highest numbers of paragliding sports. The districts of Grobogan and Semarang are best in participation, talent identification, and talent development. The results show that many regions have yet to adopt the nine pillars. It is intended that each region would produce paragliding athletes of the highest caliber, honoring Central Java and Indonesia as a country. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Scientific thinking skills are a key to learning science. The current research aims to analyze: (1) if the design of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) contains indicators of students' critical thinking skills and (2) class IV learning activities leading to critical thinking skills. The research is qualitative. The research samples used were fifth-grade teachers and students of classes IVA and IVB. The research object used is the RPP and the science learning activities. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. The instruments used in the study were interview sheets and observation sheets validated through content and construct validity tests. The results showed that: (1) the design of the RPP leads to indicators of critical thinking skills and (2) it can be implemented through the learning process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
