Based on Lieís symmetry approach, conservation laws are constructed for Fokas-Olver-Rosenau-Qiao(FORQ) equation and exact solution is obtained. Nonlocal conservation theorem is used to carry out the analysis of conservation process. Nonlinear self adjointness concept is applied to FORQ equation, it is proved to be strict self adjoint. Characteristic equation and similarity variable help us fnd exact solution of FORQ equation. Compared with solutions found in previous papers, our solution is new and important, since it is not possible to fnd exact solution of FORQ equation quite easily

In this work, we have fabricated top-gate/bottom-contact type Organic Field Effect Transistors (OFETs). A poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT): [6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) blend with 1:1 wt/wt ratio was used as the semiconducting layer, and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA):Ta2O5 blends with varying concentration of Ta2O5 were used as dielectric layers of the devices. Interdigitated type source-drain electrodes on a glass substrate were coated with a semiconducting layer, which was followed by the deposition of dielectric layer and a top aluminum gate contact in sequence. Dielectric layers were prepared as the blends of PMMA:Ta2O5 with Ta2O5 wt/wt concentrations of 0%, 3%, 7%, 10%, 20% and 50%. Structural and electrical characterization of PMMA:Ta2O5 nanocomposite films were carried out using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and dielectric analyzer respectively. Dielectric constant of PMMA:Ta2O5 nanocomposites was found to increase with the increasing concentration of Ta2O5. Devices that were processed using 0 wt% and 3 wt% concentration of Ta2O5 exhibited a typical p-type OFET, behavior with hole mobility of 2.68 x 10(-3) and 3.42 x 10(-3) cm(2)/Vs respectively. Whereas, the devices with 7 wt% and higher concentration of Ta2O5 showed electron mobility in addition to hole mobility, indicating ambipolar behavior of the devices. Furthermore, electron mobility was found to increase with increasing concentration of Ta2O5. The hole and electron mobility values were found to be 1.08 x 10(-3) and 4.42 x I0(-3) cm(2)/Vs at 50% wt concentration of Ta2O5 respectively. Based on excellent saturation behavior and promising mobility values of the investigated solution processed devices, it is expected that the investigated devices can possibly be utilized in some practical applications, such as low-cost large area sensing arrays in future. The influences of biologically synthesized gold nanoparticles (bio-GNPs) and ultra thin silver layer (UTSL) on the polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs) are investigated for the first time. The performance of the fabricated PLEDs is enhanced by embedding of bio-GNPs into the hole transport layer (HTL). Furthermore, the tailored device architecture containing UTSL increases the electron transport through lightning rod effect. Bio-GNPs are successfully produced as spherical shape with size of circa 10.4 nm. Poly[2-metho xy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene (MEH-PPV) and [poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly (styrenesulfonate); (PEDOT:PSS)/bio-GNPs blends are used as an active layer and HTL, respectively. Novel PLEDs fabricated with 0.125 wt% bio-GNPs/PEDOT:PSS and 0.5 nm UTSL exhibit nearly 2.5-fold enhancement in the device efficiency. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

In this study, hybrid bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic solar cells with a poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl)(P3HT):(6,6)-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PC61BM) active layer, a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS) buffer layer, and an electrochemically deposited zinc oxide (ZnO) n-type inorganic layer were produced. The PET/ITO/ZnO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PC61BM/Al device was manufactured and tested under solar illumination (AM1.5G, 100 mW/cm2).

Lineer olmayan diferensiyel denklemlerin korunum kanunları uygulamalı matematiğin çok önemli bir araştırma alanıdır. Korunum kanunlarının bulunmasında en etkili ve kolay yol Noether teoremiyle verilir. Noether teoremine göre denklemin Lie simetrileri ile Lagrangianı asosiye olduğu takdirde her bir simetriye bir korunum kanunu karşılık gelir. Ancak çok özel tipteki diferensiyel denklemlerin Lagrangianı vardır. Bu kısıtlama Noether teoreminin Euler Lagrange denklemlerine uygulamalarını düşürmüştür.Bu doktora tez çalışmasında lineer olmayan diferensiyel denklemlerin korunum kanunlarının elde edilmesinde Noether teoremi yardımıyla Lagrangian gerektirmeyen yerel olmayan korunum metodu ve kısmi Lagrangian metodu ele alındı. Ayrıca elementer metotlardan çarpan metodu çalışıldı. Bu metotlar alınan bazı lineer olmayan kısmi diferensiyel denklemlere uygulanarak yerel ve yerel olmayan korunum kanunları elde edildi.Ayrıca korunum kanunları ile Lie simetrilerinin asosiye olması kullanılarak denklemlerin indirgenmesine ve tam çözümlerinin bulunmasını sağlayan çift indirgeme metodu verildi. Korunum kanunları bulunan denklemlere çift indirgeme metodu uygulandı. The conservation laws of nonlinear differential equations is a crucial research area ofapplied mathematics. The easiest and most effective way for finding conservation laws is given by Noether theorem. The Noether theorem expresses that ` If the Lie symmetries of referred equation is associated with Lagrangian of the same equation then each symmetry corresponds to a different conservation law`. However, Lagrangians exists only for very special types of differential equations. The restriction to Euler--Lagrange equations reduces applications of Noether's theorem significantly.In this doctorate thesis, nonlocal conservation method and partial Lagrangian method, in which Lagrangian is not necessary, were used in order to get conservation laws of nonlinear differential equations with the aid of Noether theorem. Multiplier method which is a type of elementary methods was also studied. These methods were applied to some nonlinear differential equations, local and nonlocal conservation laws were obtained.Furthermore, double reduction method which provides finding reductions and obtaining exact solutions of equations was studied. Such a double reduction method is possible when a partial differential equation admits a symmetry which is associated with a conservation law. Double reduction method was applied to equations of which conservation laws were found. 115

An alternating triarylamine-functionalized fluorene-based copolymer synthesized using a Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling procedure is used as blue emitting layer in polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs). Subsequently, the effects of CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) on the optoelectronic properties of the copolymer are investigated. Therefore, CdSe/ZnS QDs are embedded into the copolymer matrix and hybrid PLEDs are fabricated. The devices comprised of CdSe/ZnS QDs reveal enhanced performances, yielding about 3.4 times more luminous efficiency than that of the device without QDs. Further enhancement is achieved by using electron transport layer; the luminous efficiency rose from 0.065 to 1.740 cd A(-1) for the hybrid PLEDs, corresponding to a superb 27-fold intensification of the efficiency.
