We investigate two-pion emission decays of singly charmed and bottom baryons, focusing on $\Lambda_Q^*(1P)$ and $\Xi_Q^*(1P)$ with $Q=c$ (charm) or $b$ (bottom) quarks and $J^P=1/2^-,3/2^-$, belonging to antisymmetric flavor triplet $\bar{\boldsymbol{3}}_F$. Our analysis encompasses both sequential processes, involving intermediate states belonging to symmetric flavor sextet $\boldsymbol{6}_F$ such as $\Sigma_Q(1S)$ and $\Xi_Q^\prime(1S)$ respectively with $J^P=1/2^+,3/2^+$, derived from the chiral quark model, and direct process crucial for comparison with experimental data, whose coupling constants estimated using the chiral-partner scheme. We also incorporate the convolution of the parent particle's mass for the Dalitz plot, enabling a more realistic comparison with experimental data. We scrutinize the Dalitz plots of these negative parity states in light of recent Belle measurements for $\Lambda_c(2625)^+$. Our findings support the assignment of $\Lambda_c(2625)^+$ as the $\lambda$-mode excitation with $J^P=3/2^-$ in the quark model, deduced from the the ${\Lambda_c\pi}$ invariant mass distribution, and we then give predictions for other cases, including the $\Xi_Q^*$ decays. The observed asymmetry in the ${\pi\pi}$ invariant mass distribution underscores the important role of the direct process, reflecting the chiral-partner structure in the heavy baryon sector. It is evident that the presence of the direct process is not significant in the three-body decays unless the $S$-wave resonance contribution is suppressed. In this work, the holographic dark energy model is constructed by using the non-extensive nature of the Schwarzschild black hole via the R\'enyi entropy. Due to the non-extensivity, the black hole can be stable under the process of fixing the non-extensive parameter. A change undergoing such a process would then motivate us to define the energy density of the R\'enyi holographic dark energy (RHDE). As a result, the RHDE with choosing the characteristic length scale as the Hubble radius provides the late-time expansion without the issue of causality. Remarkably, the proposed dark energy model contains the non-extensive length scale parameter additional to the standard $\Lambda$CDM model. The cosmic evolution can be characterized by comparing the size of the Universe to this length scale. Moreover, the preferable value of the non-extensive length scale is determined by fitting the model to recent observations. In recent years, the discovery of the odderon, a colorless $C$-odd gluonic compound, has been confirmed in the TOTEM and D0 collaborations. However, the spin quantum number of the odderon remains unidentified. In this work, we aim to attribute a spin of $J=3$ to the odderon in $pp$ elastic scattering by calculating the helicity amplitudes and the corresponding complex parameter $r_5$, the ratio of helicity's single-flip to non-flip amplitudes, for the spin-3 tensor odderon with the standard spin-2 tensor pomeron exchanges. Then, we apply these results to the constraints obtained from the STAR experiment at RHIC. By comparing to the contributions of the spin-1 vector odderon and spin-2 tensor pomeron, we demonstrate that the spin-3 tensor odderon, i.e. $J=3$, provides a better explanation for the observable in $pp$ elastic scattering., Comment: 11 pages, 2 figures

In this work, we study the rotating wormhole geometries supported by a three-form field. We demonstrate for particular choices of parameters that it is possible for the matter fields threading the wormhole to satisfy the null and weak energy conditions throughout the spacetime, when the three-form field is present. In this case, the form field is interpreted as supporting the wormhole and all the exoticity is confined to it. Thus, the three-form curvature terms, which may be interpreted as a gravitational fluid, sustain these wormhole geometries. A dark photon is a hypothetical particle that is similar to a photon with a small mass and interacts very weakly with ordinary matter through a kinetic mixing with the ordinary photon. In this paper, we propose a new way to probe the existence of dark photons through the Bremsstrahlung effect on ultra-high-energy cosmic rays (UHECRs). Using the standard soft photon calculation, we demonstrate that the dark photon Bremsstrahlung process could lead to significant energy loss for protons in the ultralight dark photon scenario, and that this effect could be tested against observational data of UHECRs. In this work, we propose that the odderon is a Regge odd-glueball tensor spin-3. To demonstrate our proposal, we study the $pp$ and $p\bar p$ elastic scattering by including contributions of the spin-3 odderon and spin-2 pomeron exchange in the processes. The phenomenological effective Lagrangian approach is used to calculate the $pp$ and $p\bar p$ elastic scattering amplitudes at the tree level. In addition, a Donnachie-Landschoff ansatz of the odderon and pomeron propagators has been used in this work. We fit the theoretical results with the various experimental data of the $pp$ and $p\bar p$ scattering at the TeV scale to determine the model parameters in the present work. By using the model parameters, the Chew-Frautschi plot of the tensor odderon Regge trajectory is evaluated. As a result, the odderon spin-3 mass is predicted to be 3.2 GeV. In addition, the total cross-section of our model is compatible with the results from TOTEM and its extrapolation from D0 collaboration. We estimate coupling constants for effective Lagrangians of $D$-meson, charmed, and light baryons from charmed baryon decay processes. First, we calculate decay widths for the processes $\Lambda_{c} \to DN$, $\Sigma_{c} \to D \Delta$, $\Sigma_{c} \to D^{*} \Delta$, and $\Lambda_{c} \to D^{*}N$ in effective Lagrangian method and quark model picture with $^{3}P_{0}$ model. By employing the coupling constants for $D^{*} \Lambda_{c} N$ interaction from several literatures, the strength parameter $\lambda$ for $^{3}P_{0}$ quark model is fixed in the decay process $\Lambda_{c} \to D^{*}N$. Then, the coupling constants for the effective Lagrangians of $D\Lambda_{c}N$, $D\Sigma_{c}\Delta$, and $D^{*}\Sigma_{c}\Delta$ interactions are estimated in the decay channels $\Lambda_{c} \to DN$, $\Sigma_{c} \to D \Delta$, and $\Sigma_{c} \to D^{*} \Delta$, respectively. In this paper, we study the deflection angle of light by traversable wormholes, which are supported by the three-form fields. The specific forms of the redshift and shape functions that produce results compatible with the energy conditions at throat of the wormholes are used. Having used the well-defined parameter sets of the three-form wormholes, we investigate the photon geodesic motion under the effective potential of the wormhole background. We consider the production of two heavy gauge bosons as a relaxation stopping mechanism. In this work, we analyse the conditions for a tachyonic mode for a linear combination of gauge bosons and show that the criteria are significantly different than the single gauge boson case. Moreover, the implementation of the mechanism on the $U(1)'$ model is demonstrated. We discuss various constraints for the relaxion mechanism. The phenomenology of the heavy gauge boson is also explored. The anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole plays an important role in the holographic principle. In this study, the upper bound in energy corresponding to the mass of the Schwarzschild black hole is modified to be that of the AdS black hole. Via the correspondence between the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) cutoffs, the constant term in the energy density of the holographic dark energy (HDE) can be obtained from the negative cosmological constant from the black hole. Interestingly, the proposed dark energy model could drive the late-time expansion of the Universe without the causality violation. The cosmic evolution is investigated by choosing the Hubble and particle horizons as the IR length scales. It is found that the accelerated expansion at late time can be obtained for both cases. In this work, gravitational phase transition emerging from anti de-Sitter (AdS) to de-Sitter (dS) vacua in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet-massive gravity (EGBMG) is considered. We determine the location of thermalon (a static bubble solution in Euclidean space) which exists in casually connected two regions of the spacetime. The thermalon plays a major role in gravitational phase transition by inducing the decay of the negative effective cosmological constant to the positive one due to the higher-order gravity effects. The thermodynamics phase space of the Hawking temperature and free energy is investigated in details. We find that the free energy of the thermalon is always negative at the maximum of Hawking temperature for all possible values of the Gauss-Bonnet couplings. This means that the phase transition mediated by thermalon from AdS to dS asymptotics is inevitable according to the presence of the massive gravity. More importantly, the parameters of the massive gravity behave similarly to the order parameters in the phase transition instead of the Gauss-Bonnet coupling., Comment: 20 pages, 6 figures

In this work, we investigate the non-minimally coupled scenario in the context of warm inflation with quantum-corrected self-interacting potential. We transform the potential in the Jordan frame to the Einstein frame and consider a dissipation parameter of the form $\Gamma = C_{T}T$ with $C_T$ being a coupling parameter. We focus on the strong regime of which the interaction between inflaton and radiation fluid has been taken into account. We compute inflationary observables and constrain the parameters of our model using current Planck 2018 data. With the sizeable number of {\it e}-folds and proper choices of parameters, we discover that allowed values of $C_T$ lie in the range $0.014\lesssim C_{T}\lesssim 0.020$ in which the predictions are in good agreement with the latest Planck 2018 results at the $2\,\sigma$ confident level., Comment: v1: 18 pages, 4 figures

In this paper, we investigate new exact and analytic solutions of the Einstein Maxwell field equations describing Casimir wormholes with and without the effect of the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP). We consider a specific type of the GUP relations and study three specific models of the redshift function along with two different EoS of state. Here we obtain a class of asymptotically flat Casimir wormhole solutions with and without GUP corrections under the effect of electric charge. Furthermore we check the null, weak, strong and dominant energy conditions at the wormhole throat of radius, and show at the wormhole throat that the classical energy conditions are violated by some arbitrary small quantity. We also examine the wormhole geometry with semiclassical corrections by using embedding diagrams. We use the volume integral quantifier to quantify the amount of the exotic matter near the wormhole throat. We study the Kaluza-Klein inspired Brans-Dicke model with barotropic matter. Following from our previous work, the traditional Kaluza-Klein gravity action is introduced with an additional scalar field and 2 gauge fields. The compactification process results in a Brans-Dicke model with a dilaton coupled to the tower of scalar fields whereas a gauge field from 5-dimensional metric forms a set of mutually orthogonal vectors with 2 additional gauge fields. The barotropic matter is then introduced to complete a realistic set up. To demonstrate the analytical solutions of the model, we consider the case in which only 2 lowest modes becoming relevant for physics at low scale. After derivation, equations of motion and Einstein field equations form a set of autonomous system. The dynamical system is analysed to obtain various critical points. In this work, we investigate the Higgs-Starobinsky (HS) model in the context of warm inflation scenario. The dissipative parameter as a linear form of temperature of warm inflation is considered with strong and weak regimes. We study the HS model in the Einstein frame with the slow-roll inflation framework. We compute the inflationary observables and then compare with the Plank 2018 data. With the sizeable number of e-folds and proper choices of parameters, we discover that the predictions of warm HS model present in this work are in very good agreement with the latest Planck 2018 results. In this work, we investigate the dynamics of the interacting dark energy and dark matter in viable models of $f(R)$ gravity by using a standard framework of dynamical system analysis. A simple form of the interacting dark energy $Q=3\alpha H\rho_{m}$ is used to study three viable models of $f(R)$ gravity which are consistent with local gravity constraints and satisfying conditions for the cosmological viability. As a result, we find that the fixed points are slightly modified from those obtained in the standard non-interacting analysis of $f(R)$ gravity proposed so far in the literature. In our models of adding this interaction, we find that the dynamical profiles of the universe in the viable $f(R)$ dark energy models are modified by the interaction term as well as their relevant model parameters. In this work, we present the possible existence of a thermalon phase transition between anti-de Sitter (AdS) to de Sitter (dS) vacua in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity by considering the R\'{e}nyi statistics. A thermalon changes the asymptotic structure of spacetimes via the bubble nucleation of spherical thin-shells which host a black hole in the interior. All relevant thermodynamical quantities are computed in terms of the Renyi statistics in order to demonstrate the possible existence of the AdS to dS phase transition. The detection of gravitational waves (GWs) from the binary neutron star (BNS) has opened a new window on the gravitational wave astronomy. With current sensitivities, detectable signals coming from compact objects like neutron stars turn out to be a crucial ingredient for probing their structure, composition, and evolution. Moreover, the astronomical observations on the pulsars and their mass-radius relations put important constraints on the dense matter equation of state (EoS). In this paper, we consider a homogeneous and unpaired charge-neutral $3$-flavor interacting quark matter with $\mathcal{O}(m_s^4)$ corrections that account for the moderately heavy strange quark instead of the naive MIT bag model. In this article, we perform a detailed analysis of strange quark star in the context of recently proposed $4D$ Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet (EGB) theory of gravity. However, this theory does not have standard four-dimensional field equations. Thus, we thoroughly show that the equivalence of the actions in the regularized $4D$ EGB theory and in the original one is satisfied for a spherically symmetric spacetime. We pay particular attention to the possible existence of massive neutron stars of mass compatible with $M \sim 2 M_{\odot}$. Our findings suggest that the fourth-order corrections parameter ($a_4$) of the QCD perturbation and coupling constant $\alpha$ of the GB term play an important role in the mass-radius relation as well as the stability of the quark star. We propose the Kaluza-Klein inspired Brans-Dicke gravity model containing possible existence of dark matter and dark energy. The massive scalar field coupled with gravity in 5 dimensional spacetime can be reduced to 4 dimensional gravity along with the dilaton $\phi$, gauge fields $A_{\mu}$, and the tower of scalar fields $\eta_n$. Two additional gauge fields are introduced to form "Cosmic Triad" vector field scenario. We then use the dynamical system approach to analyze the critical points and their corresponding physical parameters. In this work, we present the possible existence of thermal phase transition between AdS to dS asymptotic geometries in vacuum in the context of novel 4D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet (EGB) gravity. The phase transition proceeds through the thermalon (the Euclidean sector of the bubble thin-shell) formation having a black hole inside the interior of dS spacetime and a thermal AdS spacetime in the exterior without introducing any matter field. According to our analysis, we find that the gravitational phase transitions using novel 4D EGB gravity always take place for all existences of the 4D EGB coupling. In contrast to 5-dimensional EGB gravity, the existence of phase transition requires a narrow range of the 4D EGB coupling with particular critical values, while the 5-dimension sector has a wider range of its coupling for the existences of the thermalon and there also exist critical values for the emergence of the phase transition., Comment: v2: 1+15 pages, 4 figures, typos corrected, references updated

In this work, we study the possible existence of gravitational phase transition from AdS to dS asymptotic geometries in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity by adding the Maxwell one-form field ($A_\mu$) and the Kalb-Ramond two-form field ($B_{\mu\nu}$) as impurity substitutions. The phase transitions proceed via the bubble nucleation of spherical thin-shells described by different branches of the solutions which host a dS black hole in the interior and asymptotic thermal AdS state in the exterior. We analyze the phase diagrams of the free energy and temperature to demonstrate the existence of the phase transitions in the grand canonical ensemble (fixed electrical potential). The phase transitions of having the one-form and two-form charges are possible in which the critical temperature is lower than that of the neutral case. In this work, the study of traversable wormholes in $f(R)$-massive gravity with the function $f(R)=R+\alpha_{1} R^{n}$, where $\alpha_{1}$ and $n$ are arbitrary constants, is considered. In this work, we revisit a toy model proposed by Camanho {\it et.al.} [JHEP 10 (2015) 179] and extensively study the possible existence of gravitational phase transition from AdS to dS geometries by adding the Maxwell field as an impurity substitution. We show that the phase transitions proceed via the bubble nucleation of spherical thin-shells described by different branches of the solution which host a black hole in the interior. In order to demonstrate the existence of the phase transition, we examine how the free energy and temperature depend on the higher-order gravity coupling $(\lambda)$ indicating the possibility of thermalon mediated phase transition. We observe that the phase transitions of the charged case is possible in which the required (maximum) temperature is lower than that of the neutral case. Interestingly, we also discover that the critical temperature and the coupling $\lambda$ of the phase transitions are modified when having the charge. In this work, we study the thin-shell wormholes in dRGT massive gravity. In order to joint two bulks of the spacetime geometry, we first derive junction conditions of the dRGT spacetime. This results the dynamics of the spherical thin-shell wormholes in the dRGT theory. We show that the massive graviton correction term of the dRGT theory in the Einstein equation is represented in terms of the effective anisotropic pressure fluid. However, if there is only this correction term, without invoking exotic fluids, we find that the thin-shell wormholes can not be stabilized. We then examine the stability conditions of the wormholes by introducing four existing models of the exotic fluids at the throat. In addition, we analyze the energy conditions for the thin-shell wormholes in the dRGT massive gravity by checking the null, weak, and strong conditions at the wormhole throat. We show that in general the classical energy conditions are violated by introducing all existing models of the exotic fluids. We study first the box-diagram contribution to the $\gamma p\,\rightarrow \,K^0\Sigma^+$ process to understand the anomaly of the kaon photoproduction cross section from CBELSA/TAPS experiment at Electron Stretcher Accelerator (ELSA), where the imaginary part of the scattering amplitude from the box-diagrams is calculated by using Cutkosky's rules in the on-shell approximation while the real part of the amplitude is derived by dispersion relation calculations. Together with the results of the K-MAID model, the contribution of the box-diagrams fails to provide the sudden drop of the differential cross-section between the $K^*\,\Lambda$ and $K^*\,\Sigma$ thresholds. In addition, we include the $\Delta(1940)$ resonance in the process to complete the description of the differential cross-section. Combining the contributions from the K-MAID model, the box-diagrams and the $\Delta(1940)$ resonance, we have obtained the theoretical differential cross-section the $\gamma p\,\rightarrow \,K^0\Sigma^+$ process, which is compatible with the CBELSA/TAPS experimental data., Comment: 14 pages, 3 figures

We consider contributions of the open-string singlet~(OSS) interaction to the proton-proton scattering. Modelling baryon and meson as instanton and open string in the effective QCD string model, the typical pomeron is identified with a massive spin-2 closed string. According to the open-closed string duality, the massive spin-2 closed string is accompanied by the open-string singlet interaction with universal coupling. The flat space 4-point open-string singlet amplitudes and cross sections are computed in the Regge limit. Including both the open and closed string pomerons, we fit the differential cross-section with experimental data of the proton-proton and proton-antiproton scattering from the CDF, E-710, D0, LHC-ATLAS and LHC-TOTEM collaborations. The fitting results show the universality of the string mass scale~(or string tension) and consistency of the string model between the open and closed string parameters in describing the $pp$ and $p\bar{p}$ scattering in the Regge limit. The fitting of the string model to experimental data gives the string scale $M_{S}\simeq 1.7-1.8$ GeV and the corresponding glueball pole mass $m_{g}\simeq 1.6-1.7$ GeV. In this work, we study unified picture of inflation and dark matter in the Higgs-Starobinsky (HS) model. As pointed out in the literature, Starobinsky $R^2$ inflation is induced by quantum correction effect from the large Higgs-curvature (graviton) coupling. We start with non-minimal coupling HS action in Jordan frame. We then transform the Jordan frame action into the Einstein one using the conformal transformation. The inflation potential is derived from the gravitational action of non-minimal-Higgs coupling and Starobinsky term in Einstein frame where the $R^2$ term is dominated in the inflationary phase of the universe. For model of inflation, we compute the inflationary parameters and confront them with Planck 2015 data. We discover that the predictions of the model are in excellent agreement with the Planck analysis. In addition, we study the Higgs field as a candidate for dark matter. The renormalization group equations (RGEs) of Higgs-Starobinsky scenario with standard model at one-loop is qualitatively analyzed. In this work, we first propose a cosmological scenario inherently based on the effective Nambu--Jona-Lasio (NJL) model near the infrared (IR) limit of the Ho\v{r}ava-Lifshitz (HL) theory. Having used the one-loop correction, we employ the NJL framework in the ultraviolet (UV) limit of the HL theory, with critical exponent $z=3$, to demonstrate in the IR limit that the symmetry of the potential at the critical coupling value is broken at $z=1$. We also derive the effective Higgs-like potential in the low energy regimes. Here the symmetry of the effective potential will be broken near $z=1$ at a certain value of the critical coupling. In our scenario, the scalar channel of the NJL model plays the role of a composite inflaton. We find that the Lorentz invariance (LI) appears at the IR regime of the HL theory and employ the standard inflationary (slow-roll) paradigm as a probe of physics at very high energy. We compute inflationary parameters and compare them with recent Planck 2015 data. Interestingly, we discover that the predictions of the model are in perfect agreement with the Planck analysis. Our salient feature is that we used inflation to quantify the IR and UV fixed points of the underlying theory. We study octet-octet baryon ($J^P = {\textstyle \frac12}^+$) contact interactions in SU(3) chiral effective field theory by using large-$N_c$ operator analysis. Applying the $1/N_c$ expansion of the Hartee Hamiltonian, we find 15 operators in the octet-octet baryon potential where 4 operators for leading order (LO) and 11 for and net-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO). The large-$N_c$ operator analysis of octet-octet baryon matrix elements reduces the number of free parameters from 15 to 6 at LO of the $1/N_c$ expansion. The application of large-$N_c$ sum rules to the J\"{u}lich model of hyperon-nucleon (YN) interactions at the LO of the chiral expansion reduces the model parameters to 3 from 5 at the LO of $1/N_c$ expansion. We find that the values of LECs fitted to YN scattering data in Ref. \cite{Li:2016paq} in the relativistic covariant ChEFT (EG) approach is more consistent with the predictions of large-$N_c$ than in the heavy baryon (HB) formalism approach., Comment: 12 pages, 2 tables

Standard dynamical system analysis of Einstein-Maxwell equation in $f(R)$ theories is considered in this work. We investigate cosmological dynamics of a uniform magnetic field in the Orthogonal Spatially Homogeneous (OSH) Bianchi type I universe with viable $f(R)$ models of gravity. In this work, the $f(R) = R -\alpha R^n$ and $f(R) = \left( R^b - \Lambda\right)^c$ models are examined by using our dynamical system analysis. Our results show that both of two $f(R)$ models have a viable cosmological consequence identical to the analysis present in Ref.\cite{Amendola:2007nt} for the FLRW background. Contrary to Ref.\cite{Amendola:2007nt}, we discover in our models that there is an additional anisotropic and non-zero cosmological magnetic fields fixed point emerging before the present of the standard matter epoch. This means that the universe has initially isotropic stage with the intermediated epoch as the anisotropic background and it ends up with the isotropic late-time acceleration. The primordial magnetic fields play a crucial role of the shear evolutions obtained from these two models which have the same scaling of the cosmic time as $\sigma\sim t^{-\frac13}$, instead of $\sigma\sim t^{-1}$ for the absence of the primordial magnetic cases., Comment: 18 pages, 2 figures. We have studied the $N^*(1875) (3/2^-)$ resonance with a multichannel unitary scheme, considering the $\Delta \pi$ and $\Sigma^* K$, with their interaction extracted from chiral Lagrangians, and then have added two more channels, the $N^*(1535) \pi$ and $N \sigma$, which proceed via triangle diagrams involving the $\Sigma^* K$ and $\Delta \pi$ respectively in the intermediate states. The triangle diagram in the $N^*(1535) \pi$ case develops a singularity at the same energy as the resonance mass. We determine the couplings of the resonance to the different channels and the partial decay widths. We find a very large decay width to $\Sigma^* K$, and also see that, due to interference with other terms, the $N \sigma$ channel has an important role in the $\pi \pi$ mass distributions at low invariant masses, leading to an apparently large $N \sigma$ decay width. A discussion is done, justifying the convenience of an experimental reanalysis of this resonance to the light of the findings of the paper, using multichannel unitary schemes., Comment: 14 pages, 18 figures

We apply the large-$N_c$ expansion to the time-reversal-invariance-violating (TV) nucleon-nucleon potential. The operator structures contributing to next-to-next-to-leading order in the large-$N_c$ counting are constructed. For the TV and parity-violating case we find a single operator structure at leading order. The TV but parity-conserving potential contains two leading-order terms, which however are suppressed by 1/$N_c$ compared to the parity-violating potential. Comparison with phenomenological potentials, including the chiral EFT potential in the TV parity-violating case, leads to large-$N_c$ scaling relations for TV meson-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon couplings., Comment: 18 pages

We construct, in the work, chiral $SU(3)$ Lagrangian with $D$ mesons of spin $J^P=0^-$ and $J^P=1^-$ and charmed baryons of spin $J^P=1/2^+$ and $J^P=3/2^+$. There are 42 leading two-body counter-terms involving two charmed baryon fields and two $D$ meson fields in the constructed Lagrangian. The heavy-quark spin symmetry leads to 35 sum rules while the large-$N_c$ operator analysis predicts 29 ones at the next-to leading order of $1/N_c$ expansion. The combination of the sum rules from both the heavy-quark symmetry and the large-$N_c$ analysis results in 38 independent sum rules which reduces the number of free parameters in the chiral Lagrangian down to 4 only. Several experimental investigations have observed parity violation in nuclear systems-a consequence of the weak force between quarks. We apply the $1/N_c$ expansion of QCD to the P-violating T-conserving component of the nucleon-nucleon (NN) potential. We show there are two leading-order operators, both of which affect $\vec{p}p$ scattering at order $N_c$. We find an additional four operators at $O(N_c^0 \sin^2 \theta_W)$ and six at $O(1/N_c)$. Pion exchange in the PV NN force is suppressed by $1/N_c$ and $\sin^2 \theta_W$, providing a quantitative explanation for its non-observation up to this time. The large-$N_c$ hierarchy of other PV NN force mechanisms is consistent with estimates of the couplings in phenomenological models. The PV observed in $\vec{p}p$ scattering data is compatible with natural values for the strong and weak coupling constants: there is no evidence of fine tuning., Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures. We calculate the two-loop effective potential of the non-local NJL model derived from the Sakai-Sugimoto model in string theory. In contrast to conventional NJL with 4-fermion contact interaction, the chiral symmetry was previously found to be dynamically broken for arbitrary weak coupling at the one-loop level. As a confirmation, the approximate numerical solutions to the gap equation at one loop are explicitly demonstrated for weak couplings. We then calculate the one and two-loop contribution to the effective potential of the non-local NJL model and found that the two-loop contribution is negative. The two-loop potential for the chiral symmetric vacuum is also negative but larger than the combined effective potential of the chiral broken vacuum at the two-loop level. We consider a dynamical system of phantom scalar field under exponential potential in background of loop quantum cosmology. In our analysis, there is neither stable node nor repeller unstable node but only two saddle points, hence no Big Rip singularity. Physical solutions always possess potential energy greater than magnitude of the negative kinetic energy. We found that the universe bounces after accelerating even in the domination of the phantom field.
