Materials and alloys usually possess distinct properties. In contrast to conventional materials, employment of bi-metal laminates allows achievement of better performance in various properties, such as light density, high strength, high corrosion and wear resistances. Moreover, considering the agriculture machinery and equipment, there is a growing demand for utilization of advanced materials with improved mechanical properties and durability. Bonding (RB) process is one of the new novel methods for production of bi-metal laminates. The study presented explores the asymmetric roll bonding for the purposes of fabrication of bi-metal Al/Br laminates with thickness reduction ratios 10–30% with mismatch speed ratios of 1 : 1.05, 1 : 1.1 and 1 : 1.15. Furthermore, finite element simulation of roll bonding process was investigated using ABAQUS software. Additionally, to improve the bonding strength, the effect of mismatch speed ratios was investigated. Finally, utilizing the scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the bonding surface morphology of samples was studied.

The effects of different dietary levels of algae (Sargassum angustifolium) extract were investigated on the antioxidant system of common carp, Cyprinus carpio. Fish (30.2 ± 2.1 g) were fed 0 (control), 5, 10 and 15 g/kg basal diet of Sargassum angustifolium extract (SAE) for 60 days and then exposed to an environmentally relevant concentration of diazinon (2 mg/l) for 24 h. The biochemical assays were conducted in two times including at the end of feeding period and after 24 h exposure to diazinon. According to the results, malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in the liver remained unchanged (P>0.01) during feeding period, while significantly increased in response to diazinon in control and fish fed 5 and 10 g/kg diet SAE (P0.01). After exposure to diazinon, antioxidant enzymes significantly decreased in control and fish fed 5 g/kg diet SAE, while the fish of 10 and 15 g/kg diet SAE treatments showed significant elevations (Psod, cat, gpx) significantly expressed more in response to dietary SAE compared to control (P

In this paper, a multi objective optimization approach is studied for optimal energy scheduling of the smart autonomous electrical grid with participation of active consumers (ACs) and hydrogen storage system (HSS). The objective functions consist of: 1) minimizing the costs and 2) maximizing reliability. The ACs participation are modelled through demand reduction approach based on offer price to peak demand management. The proposed optimization is solved by epsilon-constraint method and LINMAP decision making strategy. The 21-node test system is employed to analyse the efficiency of the proposed approach at two case studies. The obtained results shown the high effectiveness of smart autonomous electrical grid with participation of ACs and HSS to supply the demand.

In this paper, we have spoken about how the superposition of two upper states and the quantum interference effect affect exchange efficiency in a V-type atomic system. We have demonstrated that the same orbital angular momentum can generate an additional signal field in response to a single optical vortex light acting on one transition of the V-type quantum system. We have also discussed about how the exchange efficiency of optical vorticity is affected by the quantum interference term, the probe’s detuning, and the superposition of the higher states. Our model is ideal for quantum information processing based on the orbital angular momentum of light due to the enhancement in exchange efficiency.

Population growth and urbanization cause developing-country cities to create energy-intensive buildings. Building energy efficiency can be improved through active and passive solar design to reduce energy consumption, increase equipment efficiency, and utilize renewable energy, converting renewable energy into thermal energy or electricity. In this study, passive architecture was evaluated for both urban block and building energy usage. When reliable information and analysis of signs and parameters impacting energy consumption are available, designers and architects can evaluate and passively design a building with higher precision and an accurate picture of its energy consumption in the early stages of the design process. This article compares the location of Baku’s building mass to six climate-related scenarios. Three methodologies are used to determine how much solar energy the models utilize and the difference between annual heating and cooling energy consumption. The structure’s rotation has little effect on the energy utilized in most forms. Only east-west linear designs employ 6 to 4 kWh/m2 of area and are common. Most important is the building’s increased energy consumption, which can take several forms. The building’s westward rotation may be its most important feature. Any westward revolution requires more energy. Building collections together offers many benefits, including the attention designers and investors provide to all places. Having an integrated collection and a sense of community affects inhabitants’ later connections. Dictionary and encyclopedia entries include typology discoveries. These findings will inform future research and investigations. An architect must know a variety of qualities and organizations to define and segregate the environment because architecture relies heavily on the environment. In this paper, we have discussed the spatial dependence of linear and nonlinear optical properties of infrared laser pulse in a single-layer graphene system. We have proposed two scenarios for adjusting the linear and nonlinear optical properties of the medium. In the first assumption, the graphene system interacts by an elliptical polarized optical vortex light and we adjust the linear and nonlinear properties via ellipticity and vorticity parameters. We found that the enhanced nonlinear coefficient was obtained with reduced linear absorption. In the second assumption, we assumed that two composite optical vortex lights interact with graphene layer. In this case the linear and nonlinear optical properties can be controlled via orbital angular momentum (OAM) of the applied lights. Here, we have shown that by adjusting the azimuthal angle of the composite vortex light, the spatial control of linear and nonlinear properties is possible. We found that in some regions of space the probe absorption vanishes and enhanced the nonlinear coefficient accompanied with optical transparency. Our results may be useful applications in future in all-optical system devices in nanostructures.

Efficient cobalt–metal organic framework (Co-MOF) was prepared via a controllable microwave-assisted reverse micelle synthesis route. The products were characterized by SEM image, N2 adsorption/desorption isotherm, FTIR spectrum, and TG analysis. Results showed that the products have small particle size distribution, homogenous morphology, significant surface area, and high thermal stability. The physicochemical properties of the final products were remarkable compared with other MOF samples. The newly synthesized nanostructures were used as recyclable catalysts in the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives. After the confirmation of related structures, the antioxidant activity of derivatives based on the DPPH method was evaluated and the relationship between structures and antioxidant activity was observed. In addition to recyclability, the catalytic activity of Co-MOF studied in this research has remarkable effects on the synthesis of 1,4 dihydropyridine derivatives.

We have proposed a new model for controlling the electromagnetically induced grating in a three-level closed-loop quantum system. The quantum system interacts with three-laser fields which one of them is the weak probe light and two of them are strong driving and coupling laser fields. These two strong laser fields have standing wave (SW) patterns in two x and y directions. This makes that the absorption and dispersion properties of the media change periodically which leads to diffraction of the transmitted light. We have shown that because of the closed-loop configuration of the quantum system the relative phase between applied lights can affect the diffraction grating pattern of the transmitted light. We have also discussed the Rabi-frequency effect of the driving and coupling lights on the different orders of the grating. We have shown that our proposed model may be used as a new tool for developing the future quantum information processing devices.

Inflammation is a major cause of chronic diseases. Several studies have investigated the effects of tomato intake on inflammatory biomarkers; however, the results are equivocal. Therefore, the present study aimed to systematically review and analyses randomized clinical trials (RCTs) assessing the effects of tomato intake on inflammatory biomarkers in adults.A systematic search was performed in PubMed, Scopus, ISI Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases to find RCTs related to the effect of tomato intake on inflammatory markers, including C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin 6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), up to November 2021. Meta-analyses were performed using the random-effects model.A total of 465 subjects sourced from seven eligible RCTs (8 treatment arms) were entered into the analysis. Pooled effect size of articles indicated that tomato intake was not significantly effective on CRP (WMD: 0.13 mg/dL, 95% CI: -0.09 to 0.36; P = 0.23, IGenerally, the present study showed that tomato intake has no significant effect on serum CRP, and IL-6 concentrations, but can reduce serum TNF-α levels significantly. However, additional well-designed studies that include more diverse populations and longer duration are warranted.

The vibration and stability of spinning viscoelastic Y-shaped bifurcated nanotubes conveying fluid in complex environments by considering additional concentrated masses and springs are studied based on the nonlocal strain gradient theory (NSGT). A detailed investigation is also performed to clarify the effect of influential parameters such as Knudsen number, magnetic nanoflow, scale parameter ratio, spin speed, fluid velocity, downstream bifurcation angle, viscoelastic coefficient, attached springs, localized masses, boundary conditions, and magneto-hygro-thermal environments on the system dynamics. The size-dependent dynamical equations of the system are derived utilizing Hamilton’s principle. The Galerkin discretization scheme is adopted, and the eigenvalue problem is numerically solved. Campbell diagrams, forward and backward frequencies, divergence and flutter instability maps are acquired. Besides, the static instability threshold of the system is determined analytically. Results revealed that although the magnetic nanoflow has a decreasing effect on system vibrational frequencies, it delays the occurrence of the dynamical instability and prevents the buckling phenomenon. It is demonstrated that by considering simultaneous stiffness-softening effects induced by nonlocality and hygro-thermal environments, the flutter instability could occur instead of divergence condition in the system stability evolution. The present modeling and results could be applied as a benchmark for the performance improvement of innovative bi-gyroscopic nanofluidic devices.

In this letter, we theoretical investigated electromagnetically induced phase grating in a three-level quantum system. The quantum system interacts with two weak probe and signal lights and a strong coupling light. We show that in two different parametric conditions i.e. in electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) and Autler–Townes splitting (ATS) regimes, the probe and signal beams can be diffracted into the high-order directions. We realized that in the EIT regime, some of probe energy transfer from zero order to the high orders, while in ATS regime most of probe energy transfers to the high orders and small portion remain in the zero order.
