Concrete surface imperfections can signify a structure undergoing severe degradation. It deteriorates when concrete is exposed to elemental reactions such as fire, chemicals, physical damage, and calcium leaching. Due to its structural degradation, concrete deterioration poses a risk to the surrounding environment. Structural buildings can collapse due to severe concrete decline. To prevent concrete cracks early, it is imperative to identify the concrete surface. This requires the development of a technique for detecting the image-based concrete surface. One way to detect concrete surfaces is to create artificial neural networks. The purpose of this study is to combine feature extraction and artificial neural networks to detect cracks in concrete surfaces. The data used is concrete surface image data divided into two classes, namely cracked class and uncracked class. The total data is 600 data points, 300 data points, and 300 data points. The technique used is feature extraction from GLCM and Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network. Test results using epoch five show 95% accuracy, epoch 10 shows 95% results, epoch 100 shows 83% accuracy, and epoch 250 shows 73% results. The test results that have been carried out show a decrease in lower accuracy results when the epoch is determined to be higher. The results of this study epoch that shows the highest accuracy results are epoch 5 with 95% accuracy and epoch 10 with 95% accuracy.

In this research, thermodynamic and thermoeconomic analysis of a new multigeneration system based on the Parabolic trough collector and the photovoltaic-thermal solar collectors is carried out to produce power, cooling, hot water, hydrogen and freshwater. The proposed system includes an organic Rankine cycle, double-effect absorption refrigeration system, PEM electrolyzer and the reverse osmosis desalination unit. Analysis of energy, exergy, thermoeconomics, as well as analysis of various parameters was done by using the EES software. The results show that the energy and second law efficiency of the system is 33.49% and 13.31%, respectively. The net power produced by the system is 1271.48 kW in which ORC turbine has the maximum share. Moreover, the coefficient of performance of the cooling system is achieved to be 1.097 by considering the basic assumptions. The hydrogen and freshwater production rates are 542.3 kg/day and 4.55 kg/s, respectively. Finally, the rate of exergy destruction in each part of the system shows that the highest rate of exergy loss occurs in the PTC collector and the organic Rankine cycle with the amount of 53575 kW and 1624 kW, respectively, and in the organic Rankine cycle, the thermoelectric generator unit and evaporator have the largest share of exergy losses.

Pakistan faces severe air pollution and high dependency on imported fossil fuels for transportation, urgently needing solutions. Electrification of transportation could address these issues, but Pakistan lacks a clear roadmap for adopting electric vehicles. This paper examines the electrification of transportation in Pakistan, focusing on policies, technical aspects, and standards. It looks at best practices from developed countries and discusses incentives offered by the Pakistani government to boost electric vehicle adoption. The study also explores challenges and opportunities in adopting electric vehicles within existing power systems. A SWOT analysis is included, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to electric vehicle policies and market integration in Pakistan. By reviewing these factors, the paper provides insights into the obstacles and potential benefits of electric vehicle adoption. It also suggests ways for developing nations like Pakistan to encourage widespread use of electric vehicles, aiming to reduce fossil fuel dependency and meet environmental goals.

This study investigates the impact of the Student Exchange Program on students of the Government Science Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Sinjai in the context of implementing the Independent Campus Learning Policy (MBKM). Research methods involve observations of students' direct participation in the program, as well as interviews to gain an in-depth understanding of their experiences. Observation results show that this program has had a significant impact on the development of academic Government Studies, analysis of political and government issues, as well as students' ability to formulate solutions and analyze community resources. Interviews revealed that students also experienced improved social skills, such as adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and leadership, as well as gaining broader career opportunities and international collaboration in the future. In conclusion, this student exchange program not only provides great academic benefits, but also helps students in holistic self-development, thereby making a significant contribution in forming a generation of students who are ready to compete globally.

Introduction: Radioactive contamination by uranium and its emissions, such as alpha particles, is considered one of the most critical issues affecting the human race and its existence. The study investigated the high ionization capacity number of alpha particles in whole blood samples from cancer patients because these particles have the most significant impact on the shape and function of living cells, modifying them into malignancies. Material and Methods: The TASLImage solid nuclear trace detector CR-39 was used to measure the effects of alpha emitters in the whole blood samples from 40 cancer patients for five types of cancer (breast, uterus, prostate, kidney, and colon) collected from a government hospital at Karbala/Iraq and compared with ten healthy samples. Moreover, the research investigated whether smoking and gender variation affect the outcomes. Results: The radon concentration in whole blood samples from patients and healthy individuals was significantly different (p< 0.05), and it was slightly higher in males with (22.82254±7.38794 Bq/m3). Women with colon cancer had higher blood levels of radon (32.13787±5.79261 Bq/m3) than men with the same malignancy (18.80531±5.63747 Bq/m3), regardless of gender. While the age factor had no noticeable impact, the smoking element had a considerable effect (p< 0.05). Conclusion: All alpha levels were within the (ICRP) usual ranges. Women with colon cancer had the most significant alpha values. In contrast, men with the same disease had the lowest values despite cancer patients' blood levels being higher than those of the healthy group.

Eco Enzymes can accelerate biochemical reactions to produce enzymes that break down fruit or vegetable waste. It was from this waste is one way of waste management that utilizes kitchen scraps to produce beneficial liquids. Community service was conducted in the Limau Manis Village of Padang City. Pre-tests and post-tests in the form of questions were conducted to assess the community's understanding of the Eco Enzyme material provided. Educational materials about the theory and importance of the Eco Enzyme product were provided by a lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Andalas regarding its uses and the products that can be sold. The theory material was made into a booklet and given to participants to take home and read again. Direct practice was conducted on making Eco Enzyme from orange peel waste obtained from fruit sellers. The T-Test results obtained a t-value of -5.047 with a p-value of 0.0001 (smaller than the alpha of 0.05). This value shows that this community service activity significantly improves the community's understanding of Eco Enzyme. In the future, an Eco Enzyme product in the form of a liquid that can be used will be obtained.

Eco-Enzyme, a multifunctional liquid produced from a mixture of organic waste such as vegetables, fruits, brown sugar, coconut sugar, corn sugar, sugarcane, and water that has undergone fermentation, has various benefits for the environment and human health. Eco-Enzyme contains beneficial enzymes that accelerate biochemical reactions in the environment. The enzymes found in Eco-Enzyme can be used for various applications, such as organic liquid fertilizer for plants, an additive in detergents, floor cleaners, pesticide residue cleaners, and rust removers. Using Eco-Enzyme as a liquid soap can help reduce soil pollution. Meanwhile, using Eco-Enzyme as a cleaning agent can help reduce the use of hazardous chemicals that damage the environment. This integrated program is carried out in three stages: the first is to socialize the benefits of using Eco-Enzyme, the second is to make Eco-Enzyme, and the third is to make soap from Eco-Enzyme. The production of Eco-Enzyme begins with the collection of organic waste consisting of fruit and vegetable waste, which is then mixed with brown sugar and water and left to ferment for three months. After the Eco-Enzyme product is ready, soap-making uses ingredients such as potassium hydroxide (KOH), coconut oil, cooking oil, distilled water, orange-scented perfume, and Eco-Enzyme. Training on Eco-Enzyme and soap making is conducted in the Andalas Subdistrict, which is welcomed enthusiastically by the local community. This program is expected to serve as a reference for transforming organic waste into more practical and environmentally friendly sustainable products.

The application of the SIFT (Scale Invariant feature transform) algorithm and the RGB color histogram in Matlab can detect the suitability of objects in digital images and perform tests accurately. In this study, we discuss the implementation to obtain object compatibility on digital images that have been manipulated using the SIFT Algorithm method on the Matlab source, namely by comparing the original image with the manipulated image. The suitability of objects in digital images is obtained from the large number of keypoints obtained, other additional parameters, namely comparing the number of pixels in the analyzed image, as well as changes in the histogram in RGB color in each analyzed image. A stroke is a fatal disease that usually occurs to the people over the age of 65. The treatment progress of the medical field is growing rapidly, especially with the technological advance, with the emergence of various medical record data sets that can be used in medical records to identify trends in these data sets using data mining. The purpose of this study was to propose a model to classify stroke survivors using data mining, by utilizing data from the kaggle sharing dataset. The models proposed in this study were AdaBoost, Decision Tree and Random Forest, evaluation results using Confusion Matrix and ROC Analysis. The results obtained were that the decision tree model was able to provide the best accuracy results compared to the other models, which was 0.953 for Number of Folds 5 and 10. From the results of this study, the decision tree model was able to provide good classification results for stroke sufferers.

The catfish wastewater is directly discharged into the environment, it will disrupt the lives of both humans and other organisms. This study aims to determine the amount of macronutrients nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium from catfish farming waste as liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) through the fermentation process at different times, and to determine the potential economic value, by determining the cost of production and selling price of waste products. Cultivation of catfish as LOF in Benteng Somba Opu Village, Barombong District, Gowa Regency. This research was carried out from February to April 2021. The potential economic value used a quantitative descriptive research method. The results of the study on catfish culture wastewater containing LOF also provide additional income for catfish cultivators. HPP based on research results is Rp. 19,000 /L. After calculating the cost of production, the potential profit for LOF from catfish farming waste in 1 liter is Rp. 3,400 /L, with a waste potential of 6,000 L / month, the economic potential value is Rp. 20.400.000,- with pool type permanent pool (L=3m, W =2 m, H=1,5m) and can still increase depending on the amount of catfish production in a month. RCR value of 1,24 that the LOF business is efficient and profitable to continue to operate. Although the potential is small, it is quite interesting for catfish cultivators to try.

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar masyarakat dapat mengolah tumbuhan secara terukur dan tepat, frekuensi pemakaian sesuai dengan berat ringannya penyakit serta lama waktu pemberian obat. Metode kegiatan berupa pelatihan dan penyuluhan. Materi penyuluhan yang diberikan pada hari pertama adalah sistem kekebalan tubuh dan manfaat serta hasil penelitian dari pegagan embun yang telah dipublikasi di jurnal Internasional bereputasi. Pelatihan yang diberikan adalah cara pemanenan dan pembuatan serbuk pegagan embun berdasarkan Cara Pembuatan Obat Tradisional Yang Baik. Sedangkan pada periode kedua berupa ceramah dengan topik penggunaan obat tradisional dan pelatihan berupa pembuatan serbuk dan cara pengisian kapsul menggunakan papan kapsul dengan serbuk pegagan embun. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan dan penyuluhan pada tahap kedua dilakukan lagi pengisian kuisioner yang materinya sama dengan kuisioner yang diberikan pada periode pertama. Kegiatan in dilakukan di Kenagarian VII Koto Talago, Kecamatan Guguk, 50 Kota. Peserta adalah ibu kader PKK dan ibu Bundo Kandung yang ada di Kenagarian VII Koto Talago. Pada periode pertama dihadiri oleh 125 orang peserta dan pada periode kedua sebanyak 55 orang. Sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan peserta diharuskan mengisi kuisioner yang berisi pengetahuan peserta tentang sistem imunitas dan cara penggunaan obat tradisional. Dari pelatihan dan penyuluhan yang telah diberikan terhadap peserta, dari hasil kuisioner dapat disimpulkan bahwa mereka telah memahami, sistem imunitas tubuh yang melindungi tubuh dari infeksi mikroorganisme. Mereka juga sudah bisa membuat serbuk dan memasukkan ke dalam kapsul sehingga menjadi sediaan kapsul pegagan embun yang siap digunakan.

Central Lombok tourism is a tourism that foreign and domestic tourists often visit. There are many tourist objects offered by the Central Lombok Government, such as waterfall tours, beach tours, traditional village tours, cultural tours, and Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit. However, there are many tourist objects, and not all tourists know the location of these tourist objects. Tourists often experience constraints, are the location of tourist objects that is not quite right, it is still difficult to determine the shortest route to the location, and the lack of complete information about existing tourist objects, which can hinder the journey of tourists to the destination location. This study aims to map the location and shortest route of tourism objects in Central Lombok using an Android-based Geographic Information System by applying the A-Star algorithm. The results of this study are to develop an Android-based Geographic Information System or GIS by applying the star algorithm to Central Lombok tourism objects. So that the mapping of the location and information of tourist objects and obtain the search for the shortest route to tourist objects. The A-Star algorithm uses heuristic principles to find the shortest route to a tourism object and is optimal in finding the shortest route to tourism objects

Background: Smokeless tobacco (SLT) use is a new trend since the banning of smoking in many public places, including among adolescents. Many people believe that SLT is a harmful reduction method compared to cigarettes. However, there are many risks of using the SLT, such as Head and neck cancer (HNC), cancer of the mouth, and coronary heart disease. Objective: This study aimed to examine the prevalence and the factors associated with SLT use among adolescents in Indonesia. Methods: This study used the cross-sectional data from the Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) Indonesia 2019. The national school was selected by proportional random sampling. Around 8,828 students were eligible for this study. Results: This study found the prevalence of SLT use was 3.25%. The bivariate test found each independent variable was significantly associated with the SLT use. However, the adjusted test found that age, smoking parent, smoking teacher, knowledge, and attitude were significantly associated with SLT use. Conclusion: The variables mostly related to SLT use come from the family and school environment. The appropriate intervention needs to be arranged to reduce the prevalence of smokers, including SLT use.

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in effect between static bicycle interval training and calorie restriction diet with static bicycle interval training without diet. Static bike interval training is the independent variable, diet is the moderator variable, and lipid profile is the dependent variable. The research method applied in this study is a true experiment with a pretest-posttest research design with a control group design. Participants in this study were determined by non-probability techniques with purposive sampling, namely dyslipidemia patients consisting of 30 people divided into two groups. The first group received static bicycle interval training treatment and a calorie restriction diet called the experimental group, while the second group only received static bicycle interval training treatment called the control group. instruments in this study through laboratory tests to measure HDL, LDL, Triglyceride, and Total Cholesterol levels. The data analysis technique used the Independent Sample Test. The findings in the study were that static bicycle interval training and calorie restriction diet had a more significant effect in optimizing LDL, Triglyceride, and Total Cholesterol levels sig value (2-tailed) 0.025 <0.05). There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group on HDL levels (2-tailed) value of 0.127 > 0.05).There is a significant difference in LDL levels between the experimental and control groups, as indicated by the sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05). In conclusion; static bike interval training accompanied by a calorie restriction diet is recommended to be applied by people with dyslipidemia in optimizing lipid profiles. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aimed to analyze a novel multigeneration system which uses the PTC and the PVT solar collectors as the energy sources. The main productions of this system is power, hot water, cooling, hydrogen and freshwater. The introduced system included the Rankine cycle, the double effect organic refrigeration system, the PEM electrolyzer and the RO desalination unit. The EES software was used to analyse energy, exergy, thermoeconomics and a range of parameters. As the results show, the highest amount of exergy destruction is associated with the PTC collector, ORC cycle and PEM electrolyzer, according to the exergy destruction analysis of the main cycles. The rise in the collector area, solar radiation and ORC turbine inlet temperature leads to higher levels of hydrogen and freshwater production. Moreover, investigating different working fluids in the ORC cycle proves that R141b shows the best performance from point of view of hydrogen and freshwater production rates. Furthermore, 33.49% and 13.31% are found for the energetic and the exergetic performance of the system, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
