El presente trabajo muestra los resultados de realizar el proyecto para la clasificación de la eficiencia energética (EE) de edificaciones en el sector comercial de Barranquilla. Actualmente, Colombia no cuenta con una metodología definida para la clasificación energética de edificaciones y menos para el sector comercial. Teniendo en cuenta que, el Sector Comercial consume el 21% de la energía eléctrica del país; el conocimiento energético de las edificaciones permitiría gestionar programas de eficiencia energética, actividades de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo y buenas prácticas de uso responsable de la energía. Por esta razón, proponemos la implementación de una herramienta informática que permita la categorización energética de las edificaciones comerciales en el país. La solución partió de la revisión y análisis de 4 alternativas: método para calcular la EE de edificios residenciales y de otros usos, modelo general para el cálculo de EE, método de simulación y método prescriptivo. Luego apoyados en los criterios de ingeniería, como el número de indicadores de EE, de datos de entrada requeridos, dificultad para conseguir la información, impacto de la metodología y pertenencia a una normatividad, fue seleccionado el método prescriptivo. Esto permitió diseñar el algoritmo que determina por separado la clasificación energética de la envoltoria, del sistema de iluminación y del sistema de aire acondicionado. Finalmente nuestra herramienta da una clasificación energética del local comercial detallada. Primero, clasifica energéticamente al edificio, y también muestra la clasificación para cada componente evaluado. Los resultados mostrados por la herramienta se dan en forma de índices numéricos acompañados de su correspondiente etiqueta energética, la cual va de la letra A (más eficiente) hasta la letra E (menos eficiente). Con la herramienta se obtuvo una calificación energética B de una tienda D1 en la ciudad. This project is aimed towards the showing of the developed energy efficiency tool results, applied to commercial buildings. To this date, there are no defined methodologies for energy efficiency classification and labeling of buildings, not even for the commercial sector, which has an annual energy consumption of 21% of Colombia's total electric energy. The labeling of this type of buildings would lead into the development of energy efficiency programs, preventive and corrective maintenance activities and good and responsible use of electric energy. Because of this, we propose the implementation of an application that would allow the user to categorize and label commercial buildings energy efficiency. The solution began by acknowledging and analyzing four different alternatives: methodology to calculate the EE of residential buildings, general model for EE obtention, simulation method and finally prescriptive method. Then supported on the engineering criteria, that were first, the number of EE indicators used by the method, the amount of required input data, the difficulty to obtain the information required to develop the method, the impact of the method and its belonging to a valid normative. Finally, the select alternative was the prescriptive method that allowed us to design the algorithm that determines individually the energetic labeling and classification for the buildings wrapper, lighting systems and air conditioner systems. Lastly, the developed tool returns the detailed energy labeling for commercial buildings. In the first place, it classifies the building as a whole, then it also shows the labeling for each one of the buildings individual components. The results shown by the tool comes in the form of a numeric consumption index accompanied by its corresponding efficiency label, which goes from the letter A (more efficient) to the letter E (less efficient). With the tool, an energy rating B was obtained from a D1 store in the city.

We prove an energy inequality for nonlocal diffusion operators of the following type, and some of its generalisations: L u ( x ) := ∫ R N K ( x , y ) ( u ( y ) − u ( x ) ) d y , where L acts on a real function u defined on R N , and we assume that K ( x , y ) is uniformly strictly positive in a neighbourhood of x = y . The inequality is a nonlocal analogue of the Nash inequality, and plays a similar role in the study of the asymptotic decay of solutions to the nonlocal diffusion equation ∂ t u = L u as the Nash inequality does for the heat equation. The inequality allows us to give a precise decay rate of the L p norms of u and its derivatives. As compared to existing decay results in the literature, our proof is perhaps simpler and gives new results in some cases., J. A. In this doctoral thesis we deal with several relevant issues in the theory of local and nonlocal differential equations. The results presented in this manuscript are concentrated in three parts. Each part is divided into chapters. Resumen Se describe la composición florística del manglar y la distribución espacial de las principales especies de mangle y otras especies vegetales asociadas, presentes en el sector estuarino del Humedal Nacional Térraba-Sierpe, mediante el levantamiento de campo de 1 127 puntos y 77 parcelas de muestreo de 60x10m. Por otra parte, se explora la relación entre el tipo de sedimento subyacente y las especies de mangle establecidas sobre éste. Los resultados de composición, estructura y distribución de la vegetación del HNTS, muestran que el manglar exhibe un modelo o zonación, consistente en la variación desde la costa al continente y de las márgenes de los canales o esteros al interior de las llanuras de marea, de las distintas especies. Rhizophora racemosa y Pelliciera rhizophorae son las especies que muestran una mayor distribución espacial o distribución continua, con los mayores valores de abundancia (45.44% y el 39.92%, respectivamente), frecuencia (88.31% y 74.03%) y área de manglar (7 670.73ha y 5 824.94ha). Se confirmó la dependencia entre la presencia de especies de mangle y el tipo de sedimento del sustrato, de modo que las especies Avicennia spp. y L. racemosa tienden a distribuirse en los sustratos arenosos con mayor facilidad que las otras especies cuya distribución es más homogénea sobre los sustratos lodosos. Abstract This research describes the floristic composition and spatial distribution of the main mangroves species and other associated flora present in the estuarine sector of Térraba-Sierpe National Wetland, Costa Rican Pacific. Field survey consists of 1 127 points and 77 sampling points of 60x10m. Results of composition, structure and distribution of mangrove in HNTS exhibits a pattern or species zonation. We found variation from the coast to mainland and from the fringe or estuaries to the interior tidal flats. The species Rhizophora racemosa and Pelliciera rhizophorae showed greater spatial and continuous distribution, with the highest values of abundance (45.44% and 39.92% respectively), frequency (88.31% and 74.03%) and mangrove area (7 670.73ha and 5 824.94ha). The mangrove fern, Acrostichum aureum, was the third most important species, meanwhile, Avicennia spp., Rhizophora mangle y Laguncularia racemosa showed a segregated distribution or a tendency to local conglomeration, Talipariti tiliaceum var. pernambucense, Mora oleifera y Conocarpus erectus were found in very localized areas and other species were considered companions with low contribution to the total coverage. The dependence was confirmed between the presence of mangrove species and sediment type substrate. The species Avicennia spp. and L. racemosa tend to be distributed in sandy substrates more easily than the other species whose distribution is more homogeneous on muddy substrates. Rev. Biol.
