Teaching scientific literacy in schools is not easy, even though it is needed in education in the industrial era 4.0. This study aims to analyze the level of students' scientific literacy skills and their obstacles in school. This research was conducted on tenth graders at two Banjarmasin High Schools, namely SMA which applied the driving curriculum, and SMA which applied the 2013 curriculum. The number of research samples was 60 students who were taken using cluster random sampling. The results of the analysis show students' ability to explain phenomena scientifically, design and evaluate scientific inquiries, and interpret scientific data and evidence in each school in poor criteria (value 40), except to explain phenomena scientifically in group 1 in fairly good criteria (value = 52). The existence of obstacles is believed to interfere with student's ability to understand scientific literacy. These barriers are sourced from students' internal factors (STEM understanding, scientific processes) and are exacerbated by external factors (teachers' STEM literacy, learning atmosphere, infrastructure, assessment, and evaluation).

Scientific literacy is one of the skills needed in the 21st century but there are no learning device that support increasing scientific literacy, causing student’s scientific literacy skills to be low. The purpose of this research is to produce STEM based cooperative learning device on mechanical wave materials that are appropriate to improve student’s scientific literacy. The learning device developed includes lesson plans, teaching materials, activities worksheet and scientific literacy test. This research is a development research with the ADDIE model and uses a one group pre-test and post-test trial design on 27 students of class XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Banjarmasin. The results of the research show that STEM based cooperative learning device are valid, because of lesson plans, teaching materials, activities worksheet and scientific literacy test in valid criteria and effective, because the N-Gain value of scientific literacy is 0.53 which indicates an increase in the moderate criteria. Thus the STEM based cooperative learning device developed is feasible to improve student’s scientific literacy.Keywords: cooperative learning, mechanical wave, scientific literacy, STEM. ABSTRAKLiterasi sains merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21, namun belum terdapat perangkat pembelajaran yang mendukung peningkatan literasi sains menyebabkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik menjadi rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis STEM pada materi gelombang mekanik yang layak untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi RPP, materi ajar, LKPD dan LP literasi sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE dan menggunakan desain uji coba one group pre-test and post-test pada 27 peserta didik kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis STEM termasuk valid, karena RPP, materi ajar, LKPD dan LP literasi sains dalam kriteria valid serta termasuk efektif, karena nilai N-Gain literasi sains sebesar 0,53 yang menunjukan peningkatan dalam kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian perangkat pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis STEM yang dikembangkan layak untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik.Kata kunci: gelombang mekanik, literasi sains, pembelajaran kooperatif, STEM.

Learning systems in emergencies, can be implemented by making online-based learning or distance learning. This study compares the top 100 citations of online learning and distance learning publications and analyzes their real contribution in physics learning from 1992 to 2021. This study uses bibliometric analysis and literature review. The findings of this study include: 1) The trend of online learning topics is more consistently rising and has a higher value than distance learning every year, 2) The most frequently used keywords are online learning, and distance metrics learning, the United States has the highest contribution over the last thirty years, 3) The type of document that is often used is articles, 4) The highest average citation per paper per year is in 2020, 5) Both topics demonstrate the superiority of contributions to studying physics. The real contributions in physics are to make learning more flexible, train students' independence, train technology, deepen understanding of concepts and make learning more efficient. More intensively, further research can be done by comparing other learning systems applied in physics learning.

This study aims to identify the impact of using the project-based learning (PjBL) model compared to the direct instruction learning model on secondary school students' creative thinking (CT) skills. Quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design was carried out to achieve the research objectives. Fifty secondary school students randomly chosen as experimental group (n = 25) and control group (n = 25) participated in the study. Eight essay tests were used to collect students' CT based on fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration indicators. Data were analyzed descriptively (n-gain) and statistically using paired t-test and independent sample t-test. The result shows that students' CT significantly improved after learning for the experimental group (n-gain = 0.47; p < 0.05) and the control group (n-gain = 0.25; p < 0.05). However, students' CT in the experimental group was significantly different compared to the control group achievement (p < 0.05). Thus, the conclusion proposed that the PjBL model significantly impacts secondary school students' CT skills on the temperature and expansion material.

There is no physics e-module that contain between physics and local wisdom becames the background of the research. It is also the reason why the research is conducted to develop physics e-module of temperature and heat with local wisdom through sigil application. This research aimed to describe the appropriateness of e-module of temperature and heat material with local wisdom which was suitable to use in learning activity, with the special purposes of describing: 1) physics e-module validity, 2) practicality of physics e-module and 3) effectiveness of physics e-module. This research was the development study by using ASSURE development model. The samples of the subject were 19 student in X class of SMK in Banjarmasin city. The data was obtained from sheet validation, questioner of student’s response and the learning outcome. The result of the research showed that: 1) the validation was valid with the score 3,5, 2) the e-modul practicality categorized practice with the average score of 2,97 and 3) the effectiveness e-module had medium category with N-gain score 0,59. The conclusion of this research is e-module of temperature and heat material with local wisdom through sigil application is appropriate to use in learning activity.AbstrakBelum tersedianya e-modul fisika yang memuat kaitan antara materi fisika dengan kearifan lokal melatarbelakangi dilakukannya penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan e-modul suhu dan kalor bermuatan kearifan lokal melalui aplikasi sigil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kelayakan e-modul suhu dan kalor bermuatan kearifan lokal berbasis sigil yang dikembangkan, dengan tujuan khususnya yaitu mendeskripsikan: 1) validitas e-modul fisika, 2) kepraktisan e-modul fisika dan 3) efektivitas e-modul fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ASSURE. Subjek uji coba adalah 19 orang siswa kelas X salah satu SMK di Kota Banjarmasin. Data diperoleh melalui lembar validasi, angket respon siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) validitas e-modul berkategori valid dengan nilai sebesar 3,5, 2) kepraktisan e-modul berkategori praktis dengan skor rerata yaitu 2,97 dan 3) efektivitas e-modul berkategori sedang dengan skor n-gain yaitu 0,59. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa e-modul suhu dan kalor bermuatan kearifan lokal berbasis sigil layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Scientific creativity is one of the higher-order thinking skills which are highly functional for each individual. Scientific creativity encourages the individual to not only generate creative ideas, but also promotes the notion of the appropriate technology. This article provides an in-depth explanation of the bibliometric analysis of scientific literature in education. The articles search was performed by utilizing Publish or Perish (PoP) software on the Crossref database. The search and sort results discovered that 28 of 200 articles were found between the years of 2019-2020. The selected metadata was edited using Mendeley Desktop software. The edited results were then analyzed further and visualized using the VOSviewer software. Overall, articles with the keyword scientific creativity published in the 2019-2020 period have not been cited, and it is essential to be studied collaboratively not only between national institutions but also internationally.

Student worksheet based on hands on and minds on activity that designed to improve student learning outcomes is not yet available, especially for simple harmonic movement. The aims of this research are to produce simple harmonic movement’s student worksheet based on hands on and minds on activity that are valid and practice. The model that used for this research is the ADDIE model, within simple harmonic movement’s student worksheet based on hands on and minds on activity as the subject of this research. The subject of this research is student worksheet. The data of this research is obtained from validity sheets and assessment sheets of student worksheet legibility by students. Data analysis was performed through the validity tests and the average score of student worksheet legibility by students. This research shows that: (1) the validity of simple harmonic movement’s student worksheet based on hands on and minds on activity is 3,23 that categorized as valid; and (2) the practicality of simple harmonic movement’s student worksheet based on hands on and minds on activity is 72,00% that categorized as practice. It can be concluded that simple harmonic movement’s student worksheet based on hands on and minds on activity can be used in the learning process.

The purpose of this study is to describe the validity of teaching materials in circular motion based on authentic learning in the wetland environment to train students' problem-solving skills. This research is research and development using the ASSURE model. The instrument used in this study was in the form of teaching material validation sheets. Based on the analysis of the data obtained that the teaching material in circular motion has a valid category. It was concluded that teaching materials in circular motion based on authentic learning in the wetland environment at to practice problem-solving skills declared valid, and can be used in the learning process in class. Furthermore, teaching materials can be used in the learning process in the classroom to find out the practicality and effectiveness of teaching materials developed. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model ASSURE. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi bahan ajar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi diperoleh bahwa bahan ajar gerak melingkar memiliki kategori valid dengan skor validasi sebesar 3,40. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa bahan ajar gerak melingkar berbasis authentic learning di lingkungan lahan basah untuk melatih keterampilan pemecahan masalah dinyatakan valid. Selanjutnya bahan ajar dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan efektivitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. This study aims to describe the feasibility of student worksheets on natural science with Kokami (Kotak Kartu misterius/ mysterious card box) media to increase the students’ learning outcome. The themes of the developed product are work and energy for junior high school level students. The specific objectives of this study were to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of natural science students' worksheets with Kokami media. The type of this research is research and development with the ADDIE development model. The test subjects were 36 students from one of the public junior high school in Barito Kuala regency. The instruments of this research were validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that: 1) the validity of students’ worksheets of natural science with the Kokami media was included in the highly valid category, (2) the practicality of students’ worksheets of natural science with the Kokami media was in the very good category, and (3) the effectiveness of students’ worksheets of natural science with Kokami media was in the high category. It can be concluded that the natural science students' worksheets with Kokami media were feasible to be used at the junior high school level. Kokami media can be an effective and attractive alternative learning media in learning physics

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the representation ability of junior high school students in Banjarmasin on Newton's Law problems by giving a written test. The research method used was survey research, namely One-shot Design. The test was conducted on 102 middle school students who had learned Newton's Law material with representation. The results showed that students more easily understand the questions in verbal representations than mathematical representations, figures, and tables. This study also shows that students who have high learning outcomes obtain consistently good multi-representation scores. So learning by using multiple representations needs to be done to support the learning outcomes of physics.

The purpose of this research to analyze profile students’ problem solving skill and the implementation of assisted guided inquiry at senior high school. The type of research is used the preliminary research method with data collection techniques such as tests and questionnaires. The data are obtained, analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study show that only a few students can work on the material using problem-solving strategies (A-Assessing the problem (identifying principles to be used in problem-solving), C-create a drawing (translating words in the form of pictures containing about problem-solving instructions), C-conceptualize strategy (outlining the steps that will be used in solving the problem), E-executing the solution (applying the formula to solve the problem by the steps) and finally S-scrutinize the result (giving a level of confidence and give a reason) in solving dynamic electricity problems. Totally of the students, five students had low problem-solving skills, and 25 students who had moderate problem-solving skills. The lowest problem-solving strategy value is at point S (scrutinize the result). Implementation of learning models provided is not ideal so that it causes students to be less active so that problem-solving skills are lacking and no laboratory supports the learning process. Students are not introduced to the existence of a virtual laboratory (PhET) as a laboratory replacement. So to improve students' problem-solving skills required appropriate learning methods.

Guru-guru MAN 3 Banjar telah menggunakan model pembelajaran dengan cukup baik. Namun, mereka belum mengenal model-model pembelajaran mutakhir dan inovatif. Mereka juga belum pernah menggunakan simulasi PhET di pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diadakanlah pelatihan inovasi pembelajaran ini. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memperkenalkan model-model pembelajaran inovatif dan simulasi PhET kepada para guru MAN 3 Banjar dan menelaah model dan simulasi tersebut. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah presentasi, ceramah, tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan inovasi pembelajaran ini adalah 50 orang. Kegiatan diadakan selama satu hari, yakni Sabtu, 14 Mei 2022. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara hybrid. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan terhadap kegiatan ini diketahui bahwa para guru telah mengenal dan mampu menelaah model-model pembelajaran dan simulasi PhET. Model dan simulasi tersebut selanjutnya dapat digunakan di kelas. Adapun rata-rata nilai evaluasi tersebut adalah 83,07. Selain itu, para peserta puas dengan kegiatan pelatihan ini dengan rata-rata skor kepuasan 4,16 dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian, kegiatan yang dilaksanakan berhasil menjadikan guru-guru mengenal dan menelaah model-model pembelajaran inovatif dan simulasi PhET. MAN 3-Banjar teachers have used the learning model quite well. However, they needed to familiarize themselves with the latest and most innovative learning models. They also have never used PhET simulations in their learning. Therefore, this learning innovation training was held. This community service activity aimed to introduce innovative learning models and PhET simulations to the teachers of MAN 3 Banjar and examine these models and simulations. The methods of this community service activity were presentations, lectures, questions and answers, and assignments. The number of participants participating in this learning innovation training was 50. The activity was held for one day, Saturday, May 14, 2022. The activity was carried out in a hybrid manner. Based on the evaluation carried out on this activity, it was found that the teachers were familiar with and able to review PhET learning models and simulations. These models and simulations can then be used in class. The average evaluation value was 83.07. In addition, the participants were satisfied with this training activity, with an average satisfaction score of 4.16 in the good category. Thus, the activities succeeded in getting teachers to know and examine innovative learning models and PhET simulations.

The research aims to analyze students' critical thinking skills (C TS ). This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects consisted of 31 students of Class XI MIPA in one of the high schools in the city of Banjarmasin. The instrument is in the form of 6 CTS test items that measure 2 sub-indicators, namely drawing conclusions from the results of investigating and evaluating (formulating alternative solutions). Descriptive data analysis by describing C TS on the two sub-indicators. The results showed that the CTS of students at this time were still in the low category, which was marked from the percentage of 2 CTS sub-indicators namely drawing conclusions from the results of investigating and evaluating (formulating alternative solutions) which was still low under 10%. Further research needs to be done on C TS which is allegedly capable of being trained through an inquiry model based worksheets .

This study aims to describe aspects of students 'abilities in solving problems of students' scientific literacy problems based on the RASCH model. This research uses descriptive quantitative research design with survey research methods. The research subjects were 33 students of class XII IPA 2 of SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were carried out by using a scientific literacy test consisting of 9 items about the description of dynamic electrical matter. The results of the research data were analyzed using the RASCH model using the Winstep program to obtain logit values. The results showed that the average student logit value was 1.75 logit, this value was less than 0.0 logit. This indicates that students' ability to solve scientific literacy questions is still low, so students need to be trained in scientific literacy through classroom learning.

Student learning achievement does not only depend on students' ability to solve problems. Learning achievement also depends on the suitability of the good questions, so the questions need to be tested for empirical validity. This study aims to analyze the problem of critical thinking skills. The research method is quantitative descriptive method. The subjects of the trial were 32 students of class XII IPA in high school in the city of Banjarmasin. The technique of collecting data uses a test of critical thinking skills. The results of the research data are processed using the RASCH model with the Winstep program to obtain information related to infit, outfit, and undimensionality items. The results showed that with the mean MNSQ OUTFIT criteria of 1.07, ZSTD OUTFIT 0, reliability based on item separation was 1.78 with special categories and proved to be fit tests with the model. The reliability of the question using apron cronbach is 0.64. Based on the RASCH analysis there are 3 questions that are outliert. The results of the study show that critical thinking skills in dynamic electrical material can be used with improvement.

Questions used in school have not been analyzed by the item and only in one representation. This study aims to produce quality multi-representation-based cognitive instruments on Newton's law material for junior high school students in Banjarmasin. This study specifically aims to describe (1) the validity of cognitive instruments, (2) the reliability of cognitive instruments, (3) the level of difficulty of cognitive instruments, and (4) the discrimination power of cognitive instruments based on multi representation. The method used is the Research & Development (R & D) method by using the adaptation of the procedure model from Borg & Gall. Data were analyzed using classic formulas and through Rasch applications. The sample of the study was 204 eight grade students from Public Junior High Schools 14 Banjarmasin, Public Junior High Schools 25 Banjarmasin, and Public Junior High Schools 28 Banjarmasin. The results showed that (1) the validity of cognitive instruments developed is considered valid, (2) the reliability of cognitive instruments developed is relatively reliable, (3) the level of difficulty of cognitive instruments developed is divided into two categories; very difficult and very easy, and (4) the discrimination power of cognitive instruments developed is divided into three categories; repaired, accepted but needs to be repaired, and accepted. It can be concluded that the multi-representation-based cognitive instrument on Newton's law material on eighth grade students of junior high school in Banjarmasin is suitable for assessment of learning outcomes. So that the instruments developed can be used by teachers to assess student learning outcomes in the material of Newton's law.

LKPD berbasis Hands on Activity (HoA) dan Minds on Activity (MoA) belum tersedia, terutama pada materi alat optik. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan LKPD berbasis HoA dan MoA pada materi alat optik serta mendeskripsikan validitas dan kepraktisannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Objek penelitian ini ialah kualitas kelayakan LKPD berbasis HoA dan MoA yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kriteria validitas dan kepraktisan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen validitas pakar, wawancara dan kuesioner. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI di salah satu SMA Banjarmasin. Data diperoleh dari validitas pakar dan lembar keterbacaan LKPD oleh peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) validitas LKPD berbasis HoA dan MoA sebesar 3,39 dengan kategori valid dan (2) kepraktisan LKPD berbasis HoA dan MoA sebesar 75,48% dengan kategori praktis. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa LKPD alat optik berbasis HoA dan MoA layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi guru atau tenaga pengajar dan membantu proses pembelajaran pada materi alat optik. This research focused on producing student worksheets based on HoA and MoA on optical instruments subject and describe its validity and practicality. This research is development research with the ADDIE model. The object of this research is the eligibility quality of student worksheets based on HoA and MoA, which was developed regarding its validity and practicality criteria. This development research uses the ADDIE model within student worksheets based on hands-on and minds-on activities as research subjects. The test subjects in this research were class XI students at one of the high schools in Banjarmasin. The data collection techniques were carried out by expert validation instruments, interviews and questionnaires. The data were obtained from expert validation and student worksheets readability sheets. This research showed that: (1) the validity of student worksheets based on HoA and MoA was 3,39, which in the valid category and (2) the practicality of student worksheets based on HoA and MoA was 75.48% which in the practice category. Thus, student worksheets based on HoA and MoA on optical instruments subject were eligible to be implemented in learning physics. This research is expected to be a reference for teachers and help the learning process on optical instrument subjects.

Instrumen kognitif keterampilan proses sains siswa masih belum tersedia dengan baik sehingga guru masih kesulitan dalam menilai kemampuan keterampilan proses sains siswa dikarenakan harus memerlukan waktu yang lama untuk mengamati siswa satu persatu melalui lembar observer. Untuk itu dilakukan pengembangan instrumen kognitif keterampilan proses sains siswa yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) validitas instrumen kognitif, (2) reliabilitas instrumen kognitif, dan (3) tingkat kesukaran butir soal instrumen kognitif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Teknik analisis data berupa validasi instrumen kognitif, reliabilitas instrumen kognitif, dan tingkat kesukaran butir soal instrumen kognitif, menggunakan analisis program Rasch. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Validitas instrumen yang dikembangkan tergolong dalam kategori valid (2) Reliabilitas instrumen yang dikembangkan tergolong istimewa, dan (3) Tingkat kesukaran butir soal instrumen yang dikembangkan terbagi dalam empat tingkatan yaitu 2 butir soal kategori sangat sulit, 2 butir soal kategori sulit, 4 butir soal kategori mudah, dan 1 butir soal kategori sangat mudah. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa instrumen kognitif keterampilan proses sains yang dikembangkan berkualitas digunakan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran.

Science education that emphasizes only the count is not relevant at the moment. Students must make scientific reasoning in answering the problem. This study aims to determine students' scientific reasoning abilities in light matter. The method in this research was the descriptive method by using the survey technique. The instrument used is a description test consisting of 8 items of light matter. This test was conducted on 201 students from the eighth-grade junior high school in Banjarmasin selected at random. The RASCH model is used as a processing stage of data from raw data into logit numbers that provide information related to infit, outfit and unidimensionality using a winstep program to achieve this goal, this study investigated the quality of items from Item and person measure, Item Bias, item and person reliability, and variable map. The findings show that the scientific reasoning ability of the eighth-grade students can be at a low level. So researchers should strive to improve students' scientific reasoning abilities in future research.

Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan e-modul yang layak untuk melatih literasi sains peserta didik. Adapun tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan validitas e-modul, kepraktisan e-modul dan efektivitas e-modul. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian & pengembangan dengan model ASSURE dan diujicobakan pada 36 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 4 SMAN 8 Banjarmasin. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini meliputi lembar validasi e-modul, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa validitas e-modul memperoleh skor 3,41 dengan berkategori sangat valid, kepraktisan e-modul berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik memperoleh rata–rata 3,53 berkategori praktis dan efektivitas e-modul berdasarkan tes hasil belajar memperoleh skor N-Gain 0,41 yang berkategori efektif. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa e-modul menggunakan aplikasi exe-learning layak digunakan untuk melatih literasi sains peserta didik.The general objective of this research is to produce a viable e-module to train students' scientific literacy. The results of data analysis showed that the validity of the e-module obtained a score of 3.41 with a very valid category, the practicality of e-module based on the student response questionnaire obtained an average of 3.53 in the practical category, and the effectiveness of the e-module based on the test of learning outcomes obtained a score of N- Gain 0.41 which is categorized as effective. The conclusion was that the e-module using the exe-learning application was feasible to use to train students' scientific literacy.

Pengembangan kreativitas ilmiah dalam pembelajaran fisika menjadi solusi baru yang lebih efektif dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang semakin kompleks dan beragam dewasa ini; tetapi hambatan kreativitas mengganggu kemampuan para guru fisika untuk mengenali ide-ide kreatifnya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian ini ialah membekali para guru fisika di Kalimantan Selatan dengan pengetahuan dan kreativitas ilmiah; serta berlatih mendesain Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Kreativitas Ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian diawali identifikasi masalah tentang rendahnya kreativitas ilmiah para guru sains-fisika, kemudian penyusunan modul pelatihan kreativitas ilmiah yang ditekankan pada aktivitas siswa meliputi: (1) menentukan kegunaan benda untuk tujuan ilmiah, (2) menemukan masalah-masalah sains, (3) meningkatkan kegunaan produk secara teknis, (4) berimajinasi ilmiah, (5) mendesain eksperimen kreatif, (6) memecahkan masalah sains secara kreatif, dan (7) mendesain produk secara kreatif. Selain itu, pengembangan desain LKS melibatkan pembelajaran berbasis otonomi, kebutuhan belajar kreatif, investigasi ilmiah, dan pemantapan kreativitas ilmiah. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dalam bentuk wokshop mendesain LKS berbasis kreativitas ilmiah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman kreativitas ilmiah guru dalam mendesain produk kreatif pada awalnya dalam kriteria kurang kreatif. Sebaliknya, setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, para peserta pelatihan lebih memahami tentang kreativitas ilmiah dan pentingnya kreativitas ilmiah dalam pembelajaran sains-fisika, serta dapat mendesain LKS berbasis kreativitas ilmiah dalam kriteria kreatif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengembangan desain LKS berbasis kreativitas ilmiah pada guru sains-fisika di Kalimantan Selatan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman kreativitas ilmiah para pendidik dengan baik. Development of scientific creativity in learning physics into new solutions that are more effective in overcoming various increasingly complex and diverse problems today, but the obstacle of creativity interferes with the ability of physics teachers to recognize their creative ideas. Therefore, this service aims to equip physics teachers in South Kalimantan with scientific knowledge and creativity, as well as to practice designing the s tudent worksheets b ased on creativity . The service activity begins with the identification of problems regarding the lack of scientific creativity of science-physics teachers. The preparation of scientific creativity training modules that emphasizes student activities include: (1) determining the use of objects for scientific purposes, (2) finding scientific problems, (3) improve the use of technical products, (4) scientific imagination, (5) design creative experiments, (6) solve scientific problems creatively, and (7) design creative products. Also, the development of the student worksheet design involves autonomous based learning, creative learning needs, scientific investigations, and strengthening scientific creativity. Implementation of community service in the form of a workshop to design the student worksheet based on scientific creativity. The results of the dedication show that the understanding of the teacher's scientific creativity in designing creative products was initially less creative. On the contrary, after participating in this community service activity, the trainees will understand more about scientific creativity and the importance of scientific creativity in learning science-physics and can design the student worksheet based on scientific creativity in creative criteria. Thus, the development of the student worksheet based scientific creativity design activities in science-physics teachers in South Kalimantan can improve the understanding of the scientific creativity of educators well.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru-guru fisika di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah tentang penyusunan proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Peserta yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdin ini merupakan anggota Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) fisika Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah. Tahapan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian ini terdiri atas dua tahap, yaitu penyampaian materi dan praktik penyusunan proposal PTK. Materi yang disampaikan adalah konsep dasar PTK dan analisis masalah pembelajaran, metodologi PTK, menganalisis data dan interpretasi hasil, dan merancang proposal PTK dengan metode ceramah. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah bertambahnya pemahaman dan kemampuan guru tentang penyusunan proposal PTK. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat dijadkan sebagai bahan masukan guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesionalisme guru dengan melakukan PTK. This service activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of physics teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency regarding the preparation of Classroom Action Research (CAR) proposals. Participants involved in this community service activity were members of the Physics Teachers Meeting (MGMP) physics at Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. The stages carried out in this service consist of two steps, namely the delivery of material and the practice of preparing a CAR proposal. The material presented is the basic concept of CAR and analysis of learning problems, CAR methodology, analyzing data and interpretation of results, and designing CAR proposals using the lecture method. The result of this dedication is the increasing understanding and ability of teachers regarding the preparation of PTK proposals. The results of these community service activities can be used as teacher input to improve teacher professional competence by conducting CAR.

This article focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of applying Game Based Learning on Logic Gate Material to student learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. This study uses a one group pretest and posttest design. This study uses a one group pretest and posttest design. The treatment given in this research is the application of game based learning. Game based learning using the game “Circuit Scramble.apk. This research was conducted at the Physics Education Study Program at Lambung Mangkurat University. The research subjects are Physics education students taking digital electronics courses in 2019. Data is collected using pre-test and post-test about logic gate. Pre-test and post-test data were tested for normality then N-gain test. N-gain test results obtained a value of 0.703. Therefore, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the application of game based learning is in the high category. Thus, Game based learning on effective logic gate material is applied to improve student learning outcomes.

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of student worksheets with PhET simulation using scaffolding question prompt based on student learning outcomes. The experimental design used was one group pretest-posttest design. The samples of the research were 54 students of Elementary School Teacher Education Department who take the Natural Sciences Study 2. The effectiveness of the student worksheet is viewed from the results of student cognitive learning, using learning outcomes tests. The technique of analyzing data used N-gain. Based on the results of the study obtained an increase in learning outcomes reached 0.48, which was categorized in the medium category. The conclusion is that student worksheets with PhET simulation used scaffolding question prompts are effective in improving student learning outcomes.

The unavailability of the physics module containing local wisdom of South Kalimantan and can trace the character become the background of this research. Therefore, the researcher conducted research and development of physics module on subject vibration, waves, and sounds of madihin culture to train kayuh baimbai character. This study aimed to describe the feasibility of physics modules based on the validity, practicality, effectiveness, and achievement of kayuh baimbai. This study was a research and development used ADDIE model. Subjects tested for this research were class VIII-H MTsN 3 Banjarmasin intended for 32 people. Validation data are obtained from the module validation sheet, the practicality of the student response questionnaire, the effectiveness of the learning outcome test and the character achievement of the character assessment sheet. The result of the research showed that: (1) the validity of physics modules was categorized as valid, (2) the practicality of physics module was categorized as highly practical, (3) the effectiveness of the physics module was categorized as moderate, and (4) the achievement of kayuh baimbai characters was categorized as good. The conclusion is that the physics module based on madihin culture is feasible to use in learning.

Kalimantan Selatan is related with wetlands and Banjar culture. Both of wetlands and Banjar culture can be included in physics learning because physics learning is inductive learning. It means that daily activity and every environment can be used to learn concepts, principles, laws and theories of physics. Physics learning based on wetland and Banjarnese culture can attract students’ attention. It also can increase students’ interest to join in physics study. There are so many physics applications on Banjarnese culture. For example Kuin’s and Lok Baintan’s floating market. Kuin’s and Lok Baintan’s floating market can be integrated to fluids. Physics learning based on wetland and Banjarnese culture has effect not only on student achievement but also fosters love of students for the Banjarnese culture and their environtment.

The Indonesian National Qualification Framework in higher education requires universities to develop a curriculum that makes students have superior competence with a variety of skills that are in line with the demands of the 21st century, including Critical thinking skills. The main objective of this research is to analyze the practicality of the OR-IPA learning model, which has been developed by design to improve the critical thinking skill of prospective physics teachers on the fundamentals of physics courses. The subject of practical observations was a physics lecturer who used the OR-IPA learning model. The observation sheet of the OR-IPA learning model practicality has been declared valid and reliable by the validators. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the OR-IPA learning model to improve the critical thinking skill of prospective physics teachers was considered practical (3.69). Lecturers and students can use the OR-IPA learning model without significant obstacles. This research implies that the OR-IPA learning model can be an alternative to improve the critical thinking skill of prospective physics teachers in the fundamentals of physics courses.

In this study, researchers developed Lectora-based interactive multimedia on the topics of kinetic gas theory. This research was intended to describe the feasibility of interactive multimedia in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research used ADDIE model design. The developed interactive multimedia was implemented on 39 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin. Instruments used are media validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning result tests. Interactive multimedia is validated by 2 validators of academics and 1 validator of practitioners. The result of the analysis shows that the developed interactive multimedia has a very valid category, a very practical category, and high effectiveness category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the developed interactive multimedia was considered feasible to use in the process of high school physics learning.

Research has been carried out which aims to develop feasible the props of Physics Energy course through project-based learning based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness of props. This research is research and development using the Dick and Carey development model. The subjects of this research trial were students of the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Lambung Mangkurat who took Physics Energy courses in the even semester of 2016-2017 academic year. The instruments used in this research were validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. Data were analyzed by using quantitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the validity of props is quite valid, the practicality of props is practical category, and the effectiveness of props is effective category. Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga fisika energi yang layak melalui perkuliahan berbasis project based learning berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas alat peraga. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat yang menempuh mata kuliah Fisika Energi pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016-2017. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validitas alat peraga berkategori cukup valid, kepraktisan alat peraga berkategori praktis, dan efektivitas alat peraga berkategori efektif. Physics learning materials in junior high school have not yet contained a balanced scientific literacy component where science roles as the body of science knowledge, a way of investigating, a way of thinking, and interaction between science, technology and society. Therefore, a development is carried out to produce physics learning materials based science literacy based on validity, effectiveness, practicality of physics learning material, achievment of scientific process skills and attainment of student attitudes. The type of research is research and development using ADDIE model. The study involved five experts to validate teaching materials. The instruments used are learning materials validation sheets, lesson plan observation sheets, science process skill observation sheets and peer assessment. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The subjects of the try out are 34 seventh grade students of SMPN 27 Banjarmasin. The result of the research shows that the validity of learning materials is valid to be used, the practicality is categorized as practical, the effectiveness is categorized as effective, the achievement of the science process skills is categorized as very good and the attainment of student attitudes is categorized as good. Based on these results, it can be concluded that this physics learning materials based on science literacy is feasible to be used in learning process.
