In order to improve the safety control ability of dragon boat sports physical fitness training, this paper uses the advantages of machine learning in data analysis and feature mining in the training of dragon boat sports. A machine learning-based safety mode control model for dragon boat sports physical fitness training was proposed. Big data statistical analysis method was used to analyze the constraint parameters of the safety mode of dragon boat sports physical fitness training, and combined with the joint association rule mining method, the dragon boat sports physical fitness training safety mode training was carried out. The correlation feature quantity which constrains the safety of dragon boat physical ability training is extracted. The fuzzy clustering technique is used to classify and study the safety management data of dragon boat sport physical ability training. The method of spectral density analysis and fuzzy fusion clustering analysis is used to realize automatic mining of safety association feature data of dragon boat physical fitness training, and machine learning algorithm is combined to realize the optimization of safety pattern of dragon boat sports physical fitness training. The simulation results show that the feature extraction of the safety model of dragon boat sports physical fitness training is better and the ability of feature resolution is stronger, which improves the safety management ability of dragon boat sports physical fitness training. • The thermal state of the battery assembly with an air gap is analyzed. • Air gaps have been found to reduce heat dissipation. • Representative assembly temperatures can be 3–7 °C higher. • The results can be used in the analysis of the thermal regime of large BESS. To control the operating conditions of battery energy storage systems (BESS), the cells are combined into assemblies and modules located mostly in a closed space limited by the battery case. There are air gaps between the cells of the battery assembly. Energy dissipation in cells leads to an intense heat removal in the closed region of the air gap. As a result, the temperature of the battery assembly increases with possible further uncontrolled thermal runaway and subsequent battery ignition. Despite the increasing number of fires and explosions of battery ESSs every year, there is still no theory providing the ability to predict the conditions of fire and explosion safety of energy-intensive energy storage systems based on storage batteries. Particularly, there are no reliable data on the temperature fields of the cells of battery assemblies during intensive charge/discharge processes. The aim of the work was to analyze the thermal conditions of operation of a storage battery consisting of two typical prismatic cells, taking into account heat transfer in the air gap between the cells. Electrothermal modeling was performed for a fairly typical battery by solving a non-stationary heat conduction equation in a two-dimensional formulation by the finite difference method. The most realistic ranges of variation in the values of influencing factors were considered. In addition, the paper presents assessment of the thermal conditions of operation of a single cell and a comparative analysis of the obtained representative temperatures with the representative temperatures of a battery assembly of two battery cells. It has been established that the temperature of the case of cells of the battery assembly is 3–7 °C (depending on current loads) higher than the temperature of the case of a single cell at equal conditions. With constantly evolving technology and an ever-increasing number of patients with pacemakers, clinicians will encounter various pacemaker malfunctions in their practice. While some of these issues can be solved even by using only the pacemaker׳s mode settings, others require re-intervention; neglecting a pacemaker׳s malfunction without full investigation threatens the patient׳s life. In this report, we describe a patient with a dual-chamber pacemaker with neglected or unresolved dyssynchronization that occurred 2 years after implantation.

Abstract: A reactive safety mode is built into a robust model predictive control algorithm for uncertain nonlinear systems with bounded disturbances. The algorithm enforces state and control constraints and blends two modes: (I) standard, guarantees re-solvability and asymptotic convergence in a robust receding-horizon manner; (II) safety, if activated, guarantees containment within an invariant set about a reference. The reactive safety mode provides robustness to unexpected, but real-time anticipated, state-constraint changes during standard mode operation. The safety-mode control policy is designed offline and can be activated at any arbitrary time. The standard-mode control has feedforward and feedback components: feedforward is from online solution of a finite-horizon optimal control problem; feedback is designed offline to provide robustness to system uncertainty and disturbances and to establish an invariant “state tube” that guarantees standard-mode re-solvability at any time.
