Background of the study: Anemia continues to be a major public health problem in developing countries including India. It is the most common cause of malnutrition in the world and is the eighth leading cause of diseases in girls and women in developing counties. About one third of the global population is anemic (WHO 2010) [1]. Knowledge regarding the causes, prevention and management of iron deficiency among reproductive age women plays an important role in reducing the mortality and morbidity rates. The aim of this study is to assess the knowledge regarding iron deficiency anemia among reproductive age group women. Methodology: By using descriptive survey design, 50 women who met the criteria were selected by purposive sampling technique. Structured questionnaire was used to gather the data Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Findings shows that 6% of reproductive age group women had inadequate level of knowledge regarding anemia, 72% had moderate level of knowledge and 22% of them had adequate level of knowledge. Conclusion: Overall findings of this study revealed that knowledge on iron deficiency anemia was inadequate among reproductive age group women. There is a need to improve the health care services, facilities and more importantly knowledge among the women on topics related to anemia and its prevention.

In this work, we study the convergence of a new faster iteration in which two G -nonexpansive mappings are involved in the setting of uniformly convex Banach spaces with a directed graph. Moreover, by constructing a numerical example, we show the fastness of our iteration procedure over other existing iteration procedures in the literature.

In this study, we prove some convergence results for generalized $$\alpha $$ -Reich–Suzuki non-expansive mappings via a fast iterative scheme. We validate our result by constructing a numerical example. Also, we compare our results with the other well known iterative schemes. Finally, we calculate the approximate solution of nonlinear fractional differential equation.

The purpose of this paper is to modify Abbas iteration for two G-nonexpansive mappings. We perform the convergence analysis of newly defined iteration process in uniformly convex Banach space. To compare the rate of convergence of the proposed method with well known Ishikawa iteration, modified S-iteration and Thianwan new iteration processes, a numerical example is also constructed.

In this paper, we introduce a new modified proximal point algorithm based on M-iteration to approximate a common element of the set of solutions of convex minimization problems and the set of fixed points of nearly asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mapping in CAT(0) space. We also prove the $$\Delta $$ -convergence of the proposed algorithm for solving common minimization problem and fixed point problem. We also provide an application and numerical results based on our proposed algorithm.

In this paper, we propose a modified proximal point algorithm based on the Thakur iteration process to approximate the common element of the set of solutions of convex minimization problems and the fixed points of two nearly asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in the framework of $\operatorname{CAT}(0)$ CAT ( 0 ) spaces. We also prove the Δ-convergence of the proposed algorithm. We also provide an application and numerical result based on our proposed algorithm as well as the computational result by comparing our modified iteration with previously known Sahu’s modified iteration.
