The purpose of the article is to generalize the applied aspects of SWOT-analysis in the formation of strategies for the development of territorial communities of Ukraine. To achieve the purpose, the following scientific tasks were defined and solved: the essence, advantages and disadvantages of using SWOT-analysis in the context of forming strategies for the development of territorial communities were revealed; the prerequisites for the formation of a development strategy were analyzed on the example of the territorial community of the Odesa region; recommendations were given on the formation of priority areas of the territorial community development strategy based on the results of th e SWOT-analysis. The following methods were used to solve the tasks: analysis, synthesis, generalization, induction, analogy, system approach, SWOT-analysis. The article highlights the main shortcomings and limitations arising from the use of SWOT-analysis in the formation of strategies for the development of territorial communities. It has been established that the formation of strategies for the development of territorial communities is a dynamic process that requires attention to specific conditions and constant adaptation to changes. Solving problems and using prospects, taking into account the possibilities of SWOT-analysis, requires joint efforts of the public, authorities and business to achieve sustainable and harmonious development. Statistical information on the development of the Suvorovo territorial community was analyzed, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats for the Suvorovo territorial community were determined. The SWOT-analysis is the basis for the preparation of realistic development strategies that should help the Suvorovo territorial community to make the most of existing comparative advantages and minimize risks. Strengthening resilience and responsible governance can help communities overcome these threats. Effective strategies include improving economic diversification, rational use of natural resources, improving social infrastructure, and promoting citizen participation in decision-making processes. The article provides results of methodological research dealing with dynamics of basic management tool development used in strategic management. These tools used for elaborating strategy of companies in different industries proved their practical usefulness and caused no doubt in the necessity of their use for many decades. However, objective changes in the world, including the sphere of strategic management have led to the need to revise a number of key methods and tools of management used for strategy elaboration. Extreme complexity of today’s world results in diversity of approaches and tools for shaping and realizing strategies. The author substantiated the necessity of this revision and described outdated components of the SWOT-analysis, the method of management by goals, SMART criteria in goal-setting, development of business-processes, forecasting and some other methods. Serious changes in using these methods in advanced companies were discussed and necessary upgrading connected with growing dynamic and controversy of processes in internal and external environment was highlighted. The use of renewed management tools in strategic management can allow us to get serious results both in strategy elaboration and in its actualization and realization in practice.

There is a need in South Africa to understand the status of available care and support to strengthen responses to dementia. This study provides a situational analysis of the current provisions of health, care and support for older persons, people living with dementia and their families in South Africa. It is a first step towards describing the landscape of needs and services available, and provides an evidence base to inform priority-setting for strengthening responses to dementia in South Africa. This situational analysis was conducted in three phases: (1) a desk review guided by a comprehensive topic guide which includes the WHO's Global Dementia Observatory indicators; (2) multi-sectoral stakeholder interviews to verify the secondary sources used in the desk review, and to identify gaps and opportunities in policy and service provisions; and (3) a SWOT-analysis examining the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in current care and support provisions in South Africa. Our findings highlight the gaps and opportunities with current service provision and show how structural factors create barriers to diagnosis, support, and care. There is an urgent need for intersectoral policy responses to support and strengthen current health, social care, and long-term support systems so that people living with dementia and their families can live and age well. Background In low- and middle-income countries like Bangladesh, where medical education faces a range of challenges-such as lack of infrastructure, well-trained educators, and advanced technologies, abrupt changes in methodologies without adequate preparation are more challenging than in higher-income countries. This was worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic and these challenges have resulted in a change in medical education methodology. This study assesses the medical education procedure, impacts and adaptation strategies and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in the medical education system of Bangladesh from learners' as well as educators' perspectives. Methods The study collected data from 22 Medical Colleges/Universities across 18 districts of eight divisions using quantitative and qualitative methods. A total of 408 samples were collected consisting of 316 from students and 92 from medical teachers. Descriptive analysis and probit model were performed for obtaining results. Results The efficacy of online learning was questionable, but results showed that it was more effective for theory classes (92.4%) followed by clinical classes (75.63%) and the efficacy rate was low for practical classes (54.11%). All types of classes (theory, practical and clinical) are currently using mixed methods to some extent in medical education in Bangladesh. Regarding impacts and adaptation strategy, approximately 75.3% of the students surveyed expressed their acceptance of online education. Over 80% of the participants acknowledged the advantages of online learning, highlighting the freedom to learn from home, cost and time savings, and avoiding physical closeness with other students as major benefits. Conclusions To address future challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic in medical education in Bangladesh, a comprehensive policy approach such as strengthening technological infrastructure, promoting blended learning approaches, enhancing faculty training and support, integrating telemedicine into the curriculum, and continuously evaluating and improving policies and interventions can enhance the resilience of its medical education system, and prepare for future challenges.

The article is devoted to the study of integrated reporting as a dynamically developing part of corporate reporting. Public non-financial reporting is defined as a set of indicators reflecting the goals, approaches and performance of corporations on significant issues of social responsibility and sustainable development. Despite the identified similarities between various approaches to disclosure of non-financial information, the hallmarks of integrated reporting are integrated thinking underlying the management structure, commitment to the environmental agenda, and demonstrating the ability of an economic entity to generate value in the short, medium and long term. The objectives of the study are to identify the historical stages in the development of integrated reporting in the Russian Federation, to determine the method of verifying such reporting, which causes the greatest confidence among stakeholders, and to identify the prospects for reporting non-financial nature in the format of integrated reporting. The work used general scientific principles and methods of research: induction and deduction, synthesis and analysis, logical linking, systematization of the theoretical foundations and practice of presenting non-financial information by economic entities included in the MOEX (Moscow exchange index) and MCXSM (middle and small capitalization index) indices. In the course of the work carried out, it was revealed that not all companies that list their shares on the Moscow exchange publish non-financial information, and companies that place non-financial statements do this in the form of a sustainable development report, integrated reporting, social report, environmental report or social environmental report. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the development of the author’s periodization of the stages of development of integrated reporting in the Russian Federation; development of audit stages for integrated reporting based on the International Standard for Assurance Engagements, as well as taking into account the specifics of the structure and principles of disclosure of non-financial information; formation of a SWOT-analysis matrix of integrated reporting in terms of information on sustainable development. The results obtained in the course of the study are of theoretical and applied importance and can be used as a basis for preparing an integrated reporting package; the plan and program for the audit of non-financial information, as well as when substantiating the decision to place integrated reporting in the public space. The direction of further research is the structure of the package of integrated reporting, taking into account the peculiarities of the functioning of the ecosystems of an economic entity, as well as the development of a SWOT-analysis matrix for integrated reporting in terms of information on ecology and social.

While analyzing organization life cycle, stages of development and slump the article found out that the stage of restoration is similar to the stage of start, but it differs from the latter, as a new spiral of enterprise life cycle is formed with regard to previous developments, experience and work trends. After SWOT-analysis the necessity to use strategies of the pretender to leadership on market is assessed. Estimation of weak sides showed that the absence of advert materials for a store with a limited geography cannot foster successful product promotion. The simplest way to attract customers is to use social nets. Estimation of opportunities focuses on studying the product range. By comparing different products within one category of goods we can understand what is profitable to buy and which products should be rejected. The enterprise can increase profit, if it changes the product range, raises the purchase of popular positions and rejects illiquid goods. The mentioned indicators show that the enterprise being analyzed is competitive and acts as an active participant on market. Today its key goal is to expand market. The author underlines the importance of using measures aiming at changing enterprise life cycle stages with the help of tools of digital economy.

Marketing communications create a positive brand image and attract potential consumers while providing close interaction with the target audience and increasing competitiveness. By combining approaches and tools, food companies increase the effectiveness of marketing communications and avoid communication barriers, thus achieving their profit targets in sales and advertising. The research featured consumer preferences in the field of dairy products. The research involved such methods as observation and survey; the obtained data underwent statistical, economic, and graphic processing. The survey involved 388 residents of the city of Kemerovo and the case of the local dairy producer Naturalnoe Moloko LLC, Kemerovo. The main barriers of marketing communications usually include barriers of perception, presentation, and interaction. The case study revealed barriers connected with installation, interaction, motivation, and comfort. The barriers could be minimized using digital marketing communications. The target audience saw the information availability about dairy companies and their products as important. This information can be provided by websites, social network accounts, and chat bots. In modern economic environment, a company is only as successful as its marketing communications. The survey data made it possible to formulate recommendations on how dairy companies can overcome communication barriers, based on the requirements of their target audience and their preferences regarding the place of purchase, choice, and communication channels.

The development of integration processes and the enhancement of their role in the world community contributes to the stabilization of the political and economic situation, more efficient use of the natural resource potential, an increase in the level of competitiveness of its actors, and the rating of the states that form the region in the global human development index. Regional interstate integration makes it possible to create a favorable business climate for attracting external investors, prerequisites for the formation of a single economic regional space. As part of the New Silk Road, a radical improvement in infrastructure will significantly revive economic activity in Kazakhstan, accelerate ongoing industrialization, and inject large-scale investments into related projects. Regional interstate integration will also contribute to the improvement and deepening of the international division of labor, encouraging the countries of the Great Silk Road to develop international cooperation, and it is the first preparatory step towards integration. An attempt was made to develop a system of specific steps to create prerequisites for the development of integration processes within the framework of the New Silk Road. The practical significance of the results of the work. Based on the analysis of traditional and new economic and political factors, trends in the development of regional integration processes, as well as modern threats and risks hindering regional integration, are identified, the main means and directions for their minimization are identified. It is assumed that the implementation of the results of the study will increase the level of competitiveness, both of the region as a whole and of its constituent states, which may be reflected in an increase in their positions in the Global rankings: competitiveness, innovation and human development. The study of the development of the IT industry is key for the formation of strategic decisions of government bodies and businesses aimed at creating a competitive and innovative economy, as well as for forecasting the opportunities and challenges that await this industry in the future. The purpose of the work is to analyze trends in the IT industry in Ukraine and forecast the dynamics of development of key indicators of its development, as well as to offer a scientific approach to the formation of development strategies for IT companies based on strategic analysis. The article provides a detailed analysis and review of modern trends in the development of the IT industry in Ukraine. The authors investigated the key factors and challenges affecting the dynamics of this sector in the country and determined competitive advantages and potential limitations for its development, respectively. The forecast of the volume of IT exports from Ukraine as a key indicator of the development of the IT industry for the coming years is also presented, which is based on the analysis of current data and trends in the development of the industry, taking into account the year of fullscale war, which allows us to give an objective perspective on the possibilities of growth and development of IT -sector in Ukraine. The analyzed actual and forecast data give reasons to consider the IT industry promising for the further development of the economy of our country. The article focuses on the importance of using strategic analysis for the development of IT companies, in particular, in terms of developing strategies for the development of IT companies, it is recommended to use two main tools - SWOT analysis and PEST analysis. The authors have developed a matrix of alternative strategies for the development of an IT company depending on its position in the context of the presence of internal strengths and weaknesses and existing opportunities and threats from the outside. This approach allows companies to more objectively assess their opportunities, understand threats and make effective strategic decisions aimed at success and stable development in a rapidly changing environment. The article deals with the issue of digitalization in the educational systems of the world and Ukraine. Based on the SWOT analysis, the authors identify the advantages and disadvantages of digitalization of the Ukrainian educational system. The main areas of digitalization include the introduction of immersive, cloud, Internet technologies, online courses, gamification of education, and development of digital libraries. Among the benefits of digitalization are the following: digitalization stimulates the senses of sight and hearing; interactive learning improves the quality of education; improves the ability to work with learning materials; presentational e-contents are convenient; ensures the quality of educational services in the context of lockdown or military conflicts. The authors have found that the most common types of digital education are webinars, individual online consultations, work on online platforms, and self-study of educational content. Among the strengths of digitalization, the authors identify constant systematic work, training of specialists who are competitive in the labor market, openness and presentability, modernization of technical support, creation of a single information space, etc. Among the disadvantages of digitalization are: limited communication, low activity in the classroom, loss of motivation, loss of progress due to insufficient digital competencies, not always high-quality networking, not always qualitative networking, and not always qualitative networking. In most settlements of Ukraine there are no existing programs for municipal solid waste management (MSW) and schemes for sanitary cleaning of settlements, there are no registers of waste generation, treatment and disposal and disposal sites, which leads to the formation of landfills, deteriorating sanitation settlements and increase the level of environmental danger in the region. The article presents the results of research that indicate that the existing structure of the MSW management system in Ukraine at the regional level (on the example of Zhytomyr region) is imperfect. It is characterized by fragmentation, disunity and heterogeneity. The peculiarity of the system is the lack of interaction between government agencies, environmental services and the local community, which does not provide a sufficient level of control over the sanitary condition of territories, as well as collection, transportation, disposal and disposal of solid waste. The aim of the study is to strategically analyze the preconditions for the implementation of municipal solid waste management systems to increase the level of environmental safety in the united territorial communities through the introduction of environmental logistics and crowdsourcing mechanisms. The methodological basis for assessing and selecting methods and ways to improve the environmental safety of the study region by improving the waste management system (hereinafter - waste management) is a systematic approach that allows analysis of the problem and ensures search efficiency for management decisions. The SWOT and PEST analysis identified the strengths and weaknesses of the existing waste management system and the prerequisites for the implementation of a modern system of solid waste management. The increase in the number of business structures that are ready and able to implement modern methods of waste disposal and identified the availability of modern innovative management methods in public authorities and local governments. However, the low efficiency of the existing waste management system, the lack of communication and coordination of actions between stakeholders in solving the problem pose a threat to maintaining the environmental security of the region.

Formulation of the problem. Every year there are new types of tourism and, accordingly, new directions of tourist travel. Among such areas is dark tourism, which, although it exists in the modern sense of the term for no more than 25 years, but already plays an important role in the modern tourism industry. We believe that this type of tourism has all the opportunities and prospects for further development in Ukraine. Analysis of recent research and publications. The issue of «dark» tourism is still insufficiently studied in the scientific literature, but has long been of some public interest, so we consider research on «dark» tourism in Ukraine relevant and timely. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign scientific literature, the article describes the main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «dark» tourism. The distinctive features that determine the content of «dark» tourism, its classification with a brief description of thematic varieties: mystical tourism, necropolis tourism, thanatourism and disaster tourism. The key reasons for tourists' interest in dark tourism (curiosity, search for novelty, historical memory and respect for cultural heritage, the role of the media and the emotional factor) are identified and the motivation of potential «dark» tourists is described. Formulation of the purpose of the article. The purpose of the work is to specify the content of the concept of dark tourism, justify the specific structure of dark tourism, monitor the resource base for the development of dark tourism in Ukraine, identify the problems of its implementation and develop proposals for their solution. Presentation of the main research material. The preconditions for the development of dark tourism in Ukraine are analyzed. The resource base of this type of tourism is investigated: on the basis of monitoring of «dark» places and locations of Ukraine 127 potentially popular for tourists objects are selected: medieval castles and fortresses, dungeons, thematic museums, prisons, cathedrals, ancient settlements, cemeteries, zones, battlefields, battlefields, etc., which can be used in the development of new tourism products. The geographical and thematic structuring of these objects is carried out, regularities in their geospatial organization are revealed. The most interesting objects of dark tourism of each of the macro-regions of Ukraine are singled out and their brief description is given. Problems and prospects of the development of "dark" tourism. An analytical review of opportunities and threats to the development of dark tourism in Ukraine with the help of SWOT-analysis, substantiates the problems of development of this type of tourism and presents possible ways to solve them. Proposed measures to popularize dark tourism in Ukraine. Measures for popularization and commercialization of dark tourism in Ukraine are offered, in particular: 1) monitoring of «dark» locations in Ukraine for their suitability for visiting by tourists; 2) creation of an interactive map of dark places of Ukraine; 3) the use of foreign experience in the organization of «dark» tours by domestic tourism enterprises; 4) organization of thematic events − cultural events, competitions, quests, festivals, educational tours, etc .; 5) creation of a web page with information about dark places of Ukraine and relevant tours, launch of the YouTube channel «Mystical Ukraine»; development of profile mobile applications.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, was actually a threat to the existence of the Ukrainian state and the activity of the entire democratic world, and also had an impact on the settlement and socio-professional structure of the entire Ukrainian society. The war has led to the migration of the Ukrainian population, which is taking place against the background of destroyed Ukrainian industries and depleted human resources. The analysis of the settlement and socio-professional structure helps to find out not only the weaknesses and strengths of social changes in society, but also allows analyzing the existing potential in the form of opportunities and threats according to the SWOT-analysis. A special place is occupied by the methods of empirical research, methods of mathematical and statistical analysis and analysis of the All-Ukrainian census of Ukraine in 2001. To identify the ethnic conflict potential, several conditional multi-ethnic territories of Ukraine were compared: South Ukraine (the most multiethnic region of Ukraine), the Carpathian region, where 97% of the Hungarian national minority is concentrated, and the Ukrainian Northern Pryazov'ye region of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya regions, where 95% of the Greek national minority lives (according to the 2001 census). The article answers the question of how to use the strengths of social interaction of national-civic and ethnic in the socio-professional sphere of Ukraine, analyzed and grouped by the author on the basis of statistical and sociological data, in order to take advantage of internal and external opportunities and to minimize the impact of internal and external threats.The conclusions contain recommendations for public authorities in the field of domestic and foreign policy.

Digitization of the energy industry is the key to a successful energy transition. To this end, all consumers and generators should be able to communicate permanently with each other so that the energy system as a whole functions safely and efficiently. Smart meter technology can make a contribution to this. Unfortunately, the rollout selected in Germany initially affects only about 11% of all consumers. The objective of this paper is therefore to determine the current status of this technology in companies and to pursue the research question of which factors influence acceptance and use. For this purpose, an extensive literature search with more than 50 keywords was conducted in scientific databases. After reviewing and cleaning the literature, 47 papers were selected for the literature review and considered in detail. The literature review was conducted using eight evaluation criteria: Origin and year of publication, identification of trends with Big Data and AI (artificial intelligence), type of organization, type of data, collection method, number of participants, type of data collection, and analysis method. In order to evaluate the main statements and results of the considered works, we also performed a Strengths–Weaknesses–Opportunities–Threats Analysis (SWOT).Our analysis showed that: (1) The studies only address households as end-users, no companies are considered as end-users in relation to smart meter technology. (2) Technical aspects and barriers were often chosen as research focus and content, and secondary data were mostly used. (3) Studies examining soft factors such as acceptance criteria in general and for decision making are rare and also focused purely on residential customers. (4) Of the studies that collected primary data as part of their research, 71% used the survey method of a questionnaire survey. Further research should investigate company acceptance criteria, as this can increase implementation and make better predictions about the technology.

After the political changes in 1989, teacher education in Poland embarked on new paths and it is still caught between tradition, the requirements of the Bologna reform and innovations. This article attempts to present characteristics of teacher training for the teaching of German as a foreign language, using the example of the Pedagogical University of Krakow. Today, the development of ecological entrepreneurship is a demand of the times, and it depends on the production potential of the regions. The most important aspect of the regions is its economic system, which focuses on the ecological aspects of the development of entrepreneurship, which is determined by the importance of the development of ecological entrepreneurship. These issues are directly reflected in this article written by the authors, in which Khorezm region was chosen as the object of research. Also, in the article, a SWOT-analysis of the development of ecological entrepreneurship in the region was carried out, by carrying out this analysis, priority directions for the wide development of ecological entrepreneurship in the region were proposed, and this allows for the development of plans and programs aimed at the future development of the region.

The use of traditional SWOT-analysis in a dynamic and uncertain external environment does not allow to reasonably form the company’s strategy based on assessments of the state of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The reason is that the static assessments of the current state of internal and external factors, obtained from experts, are used to develop a long-term strategy, the implementation of which requires the implementation of organizational changes. The article proposes a new approach to strategic analysis, which consists in evaluating the dynamics of the strategic compliance of factors, taking into account the dispersion of expert opinions (SSMD-analysis). The basis of the algorithm for calculating the final evaluations is the method for determining the optimal intensity of strategic changes. Using the SSMD-analysis methodology based on public data for 2015–2020, an examination of the strategic compliance of factors of the external and internal environment of Aeroflot as of 2020 was conducted. It is concluded that the most relevant direction of the company’s development in 2020 was the accelerated replacement of leased aircraft with its own aircraft. The proposed method makes it possible to assess the dynamic portrait of the company’s interaction with its external environment in conditions of information uncertainty.

The study is extremely necessary for the economy of Ukraine. In the period of war, it is necessary to have an effective strategy of economic development, regulating the activities at all levels of economic development of the state. The study used the correlation and regression analysis and the method of SWOT-analysis, which allowed to evaluate the National economic strategy developed by the state until 2030 with its adjustment during the war. The economic development strategy is divided into micro-, meso-, macroeconomic levels. At each level, the directions of development of all systems are defined. Ukraine has a very large potential for economic development. Military actions allow the state to attract foreign investment and find reliable partners among foreigners. But the war has taken away the industrial regions and there is a need to specialize production in safer regions of the state. A successful economic development strategy will select the most promising and significant factors. The purpose of the research of the article was to determine the strategy of economic development of Ukraine during the war. The selected areas of research: assessment of the National economic strategy by 2030 and its possible application for the period of war; the main directions of economic development strategy for use during the war; the effectiveness of the proposed directions of development strategy of economic development. The conclusion reflects the main directions of the economic development strategy proposed for use in the war with certain vectors of development at the micro-, macro-,and meso-economic levels. The results of the SWOT-analysis are clearly described and compared with the strategic directions in the National Economic Strategy until 2030. This article analyzes the recreational activity in the Arctic region of Northern Eurasia and the influence of geographical and economic factors on its recreational potential. The SWOT analysis showed that the Arctic tourist region has a number of strengths and opportunities for further development. However, to realize these opportunities, it is necessary to reduce the negative impact of weaknesses and neutralize the existing threats to tourism in the region. At the same time, it is necessary to consider the political, economic, social and technological factors that were identified as a result of the PEST analysis. Processes related to the melting of permafrost due to climate changes represent a special threat, which is significantly constraining the future development of tourism in the region. The major problem of the Arctic region is the low level of development of recreational infrastructure, which results in the high cost of touristic tours. The article suggests two strategies for the future development of tourism in the Arctic region. The first is based on premium tourism, offering unique services that are not offered anywhere else. The article is devoted to defining the conceptual foundations of hotel franchising in the context of globalization of the world economy. In the course of the analysis the definition of the concept of franchising was given, the development of the hotel industry in Ukraine on the basis of the franchising agreement was considered. The most successful Ukrainian national networks were identified and compared with the international network in terms of such parameters as numbering and pricing policy. In addition, the investment climate of Ukraine was studied in order to place their branches by foreign TNCs with the help of SWOT-analysis. A development strategy for Ukraine was proposed in the direction of expanding its investment potential using the vector of strategic orientation. Hotel business in the XXI century is one of the most profitable sectors of the economy. International experience shows that a key factor in the success of tourism development is a highly developed tourist infrastructure. Franchising is an ideal solution for entrepreneurs who want to create decent competition for their foreign and domestic counterparts, to form a business in such a way that it is profitable almost immediately, to avoid risks and to get as much income as possible at the lowest cost. After analyzing franchising for the safety of doing business in the hotel business, we came to a clear conclusion and we can confidently call it a unique way to start a business, protecting business from failure. After all, with its help you can learn the practical experience of a successful business, get its name, reputation and trust of visitors from around the world. Hotel franchising will improve the tourism image, create a long-term strategy for sustainable development of the tourism sector of Ukraine and get the economic effect: obtaining new sources of foreign exchange earnings, job creation and as a result - prosperity of the national economy, especially given the investment climate of Ukraine for foreign TNCs is very favorable.

Formulation of the problem. Every year there are new types of tourism and, accordingly, new directions of tourist travel. Among such areas is dark tourism, which, although it exists in the modern sense of the term for no more than 25 years, but already plays an important role in the modern tourism industry. We believe that this type of tourism has all the opportunities and prospects for further development in Ukraine. Analysis of recent research and publications. The issue of «dark» tourism is still insufficiently studied in the scientific literature, but has long been of some public interest, so we consider research on «dark» tourism in Ukraine relevant and timely. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign scientific literature, the article describes the main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «dark» tourism. The distinctive features that determine the content of «dark» tourism, its classification with a brief description of thematic varieties: mystical tourism, necropolis tourism, thanatourism and disaster tourism. The key reasons for tourists' interest in dark tourism (curiosity, search for novelty, historical memory and respect for cultural heritage, the role of the media and the emotional factor) are identified and the motivation of potential «dark» tourists is described. Formulation of the purpose of the article. The purpose of the work is to specify the content of the concept of dark tourism, justify the specific structure of dark tourism, monitor the resource base for the development of dark tourism in Ukraine, identify the problems of its implementation and develop proposals for their solution. Presentation of the main research material. The preconditions for the development of dark tourism in Ukraine are analyzed. The resource base of this type of tourism is investigated: on the basis of monitoring of «dark» places and locations of Ukraine 127 potentially popular for tourists objects are selected: medieval castles and fortresses, dungeons, thematic museums, prisons, cathedrals, ancient settlements, cemeteries, zones, battlefields, battlefields, etc., which can be used in the development of new tourism products. The geographical and thematic structuring of these objects is carried out, regularities in their geospatial organization are revealed. The most interesting objects of dark tourism of each of the macro-regions of Ukraine are singled out and their brief description is given. Problems and prospects of the development of "dark" tourism. An analytical review of opportunities and threats to the development of dark tourism in Ukraine with the help of SWOT-analysis, substantiates the problems of development of this type of tourism and presents possible ways to solve them. Proposed measures to popularize dark tourism in Ukraine. Measures for popularization and commercialization of dark tourism in Ukraine are offered, in particular: 1) monitoring of «dark» locations in Ukraine for their suitability for visiting by tourists; 2) creation of an interactive map of dark places of Ukraine; 3) the use of foreign experience in the organization of «dark» tours by domestic tourism enterprises; 4) organization of thematic events − cultural events, competitions, quests, festivals, educational tours, etc .; 5) creation of a web page with information about dark places of Ukraine and relevant tours, launch of the YouTube channel «Mystical Ukraine»; development of profile mobile applications. In today's conditions, the economic situation in the country is quite difficult. Most of the domestic enterprises suffered heavy losses, but still try to stay on the market. Under such conditions, competition is growing faster and stronger. The theoretical aspects of the formation of the competitiveness of the construction enterprise and the scientific methods of their evaluation are considered. An analysis of the influence of factors of the external and internal environment of "ALD ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION" LLC is presented, the weaknesses and strengths of the enterprise are determined. A SWOT analysis of the construction company's activity was made. Proposals are given for solving the issues of increasing the efficiency of the construction enterprise, and the key strategic priorities for increasing its competitiveness are considered. The purpose of this research work is to analyze the concept of the “smart city” and its characteristics in literature, to assess the application of the concept in Kazakhstan using the example of the “Smart Aqkol” project in order to identify a number of advantages and disadvantages, problems and trends of innovative technologies in the cities of Kazakhstan. In the course of the research, the author carried out a literary review of the concept of “smart city” by domestic and foreign authors, and also considered the experience of implementing “Smart Aqkol” in Akkol. The methodology of the work is to systematize indicators and approaches to the analysis of smart cities projects using the example of “Smart Aqkol”. The author carried out a SWOT analysis to evaluate this project and form recommendations for future projects of smart cities in Kazakhstan. In conclusion of the study, conclusions were formulated about the feasibility of using the experience of “Smart Aqkol”, which can be used as an example for other cities of Kazakhstan in the implementation of similar projects. The study identified the advantages of the implemented experience based on “Smart Aqkol” and provided statistical evidence of the success of this project, which showed a clear example of the fact that in Kazakhstan there are prerequisites for the effective development of smart cities, similar to “Smart Aqkol”.

Diversification of economy in Kazakhstan includes several prosperous directions, but main attention is paid on agro industrial sector. High productivity of foreign countries due to successful realization of farmers’ cooperation makes it key element of current state policy of development. However, despite the support provided and activities taken the cooperation implementation is still low. The aim of this research was to analyze the reasons of it and make suggestions for situation improvement. To analyze current position of cooperatives in Kazakhstan, the main international agricultural cooperation models were examined and their history together with historical background of agricultural cooperatives in Kazakhstan. Based on the data it can be concluded that various economic doctrines were the base of each model. Authors explored three different models existed in agricultural cooperatives history: Western (market economy), Soviet (government-planned economy) and Israeli (social commune). Interviews were conducted with experts in agricultural sector and food marketing in order to investigate, which factors restrain cooperation’s integration. After studying updated version of law on agricultural cooperatives and conducting interviews authors constructed SWOT-analysis, which defined the main weakness of state’s cooperatives. The unawareness of farmers about benefits of cooperation was chosen as a problem to be solved. On the base of it authors created problem-tree and further elaborated solution-tree. Authors recommend prolonging and intensifying government support, and involving private business in agricultural cooperatives development. The support should be multilevel; upper-level includes subsidies payments and legislation modifications; local bodies should help strategical planning elaboration and organization of production sales.

The revenue part of the banking institution is formed mainly due to the volume of credits provided and depends on the conditions of crediting the financial services market participants. Consequently, the insufficiency or inaccessibility of credit resources adversely affects the status of the entire economy. The article is aimed at an economic and statistical analysis of the current status of credit activity of the banking system of Ukraine in the dynamic conditions of development of the national economy, identifying tendencies, substantiating the prospects for expanding and reducing the risks of credit activities of banking institutions. The role and tasks of the bank’s credit operations in the country’s economy are considered; the status of the credit portfolio of the banking system in recent years is characterized; a new redistribution of banks to groups by the structure of authorized capital and the size of assets is provided. An analysis of the volumes and structure of the banks’ assets in terms of organizational and legal forms of ownership (public, private, foreign) and the proportion of credits in the structure of assets is carried out. The authors analyze changes in the total volumes and dynamics of crediting in terms of: crediting entities; national and foreign currencies; dynamics of the exchange rate and the structure of crediting by type of activity. The impact of seasonality of credit provision is identified. An assessment of the number, structure and volumes of crediting by non-financial credit institutions is provided. The predictive models are developed using different mathematical functions and statistical methods. As a result of the carried out SWOT-analysis, the main problems and shortcomings of the banking system are identified. A project of recommendations on reducing credit risks is proposed.

The role of tourism in the socio-economic development of the country is analyzed. The features of ecological tourism and its role in the economy of the region are determined. The characteristic of the state and problems of the development of eco-tourism in the NPP Skole Beskyds, as well as the direction for the development of ecotourism are presented. Ecotourism is considered as an integral part of sustainable tourism. The interconnection of ecological tourism with the Sustainable Development Goals set out in Agenda - 2030 is determined. Using the questionnaire developed by the authors, a stakeholders’ survey was conducted regarding their willingness to support financially the ecological tourism development on the territory of the National Nature Park Skole Beskyds. It was found that a significant part of the respondents surveyed is ready to donate a certain part of their personal income to the development of nature conservation areas, as well as to participate as volunteers in various environmental campaigns. Using the SWOT analysis, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats associated with the development of ecological tourism are identified. On its basis, the proposals were developed regarding the prospects for the ecological tourism development on a sustainable basis in the Ukrainian Carpathians. According to the results of the survey, half of the respondents expressed their willingness to participate voluntarily in the improvement of eco-routes (49%), and 27% to do it for a certain fee. A quarter of respondents (24%) are not ready to participate in the improvement of ecological routes in the park. A total of 80 people were interviewed. An in-depth analysis of the responses of respondents who are not ready to allocate funds for the improvement of ecological routes in the park showed that more then one third of respondents of this category are not ready to participate in improving ecological routes in the national nature park (36%), a nearly one third of them (30%) are willing to volunteer and a third (34%) - on terms of payment. The limitation of economic activity on the territory of the NNP is associated with certain economic and social losses, a decrease in the level of well-being of the local population. All this is a consequence of the performance of the parks as a kind of “environmental donors”. In this regard, it is important to develop an organizational and economic mechanism to compensate the donor regions (some sectors of the economy, the local population) for the increased costs associated with the provision of environmental services in order to protect the environment. It is advisable to direct the activities of the Skole Beskyds National Nature Park to the establishment of ecological tourism in the nearby settlements that are part of the park’s area of activity. To do this, it is worth developing proposals for the development of ecotourism in the Skole district and determining the direction of the park's administration in this area, conducting appropriate training for residents of the district who want to be engaged in ecological tourism; conclude agreements with private owners and travel agencies specializing in ecotourism on the territory of NNP; publish promotional materials to support eco-tourism in the region.

The aim of the study is to study the regional hypolipidemic drugs market, external and internal factors affecting their level of consumption, including the information awareness of the final customers about this pharmacotherapeutic group and the adherence to treatment with these drugs.Materials and methods. The study was carried out using the methods of SWOT and STEP-analyses to assess the factors affecting the consumption of the studied group of drugs, as well as the questionnaire method of final customers and assessing their compliance using the Morisky-Green questionnaire.Results. The influence of environmental and internal factors on the level and structure of the consumption of hypolipidemic drugs has been studied, hereby, the problems of the group and ways to solve them have been outlined, and an increase or decrease in the need for hypolipidemic drugs at the regional level, have been predicted. The assessment of the information awareness and preferences of the final customers of hypolipidemic drugs has been carried out, and insufficient awareness of patients about the drugs under study, has been revealed. The compliance of the final customers has been studied. A low level of the compliance of the patients to the prescribed hypolipidemic therapy has been established.Conclusion. Modern advances in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, based on fundamental achievements of science and practice, have created a high evidence base for the choice of strategies for pharmacotherapy with hypolipidemic drugs. The main ways to increase information awareness and compliance of the final customers are: development and intensification of educational programs to increase the level of knowledge and information awareness of doctors and pharmaceutical professionals, establishing the Doctor-Patient partnering relationships, increasing the trust level to the doctor and, as a result, the level of the patient compliance уровень; the development of materials for increasing the information awareness among the final customers about hypolipidemic drugs and hypolipidemic therapy in general.

The research deals with applying to innovative approaches to literary text. Inclusive books for children and ways of working with them at pedagogical faculties are considered. In our research, we will demonstrate the work with such books “Cripple Bunny and his brave mother” by Oksana Drachkovskaya, “Trustees for the Giraffe” by Oksana Luschevska and Yevhenia Haydamaka, “Just because” by Rebecca Elliott, “Magda and her Wind” by Iryna Morykvas, “Planet Willi” by Birta Müller, “Yes! I can!: The girl and her Wheelchair” KendryJ. Barrett, Jacqueline BiuToner, Kler A. Friland, Violet Limey and the trilogy on Pearl of Tuuli Pere. The main heroes of these books are children with disabilities and special educational needs. Narrators mostly are their elder or younger brothers or sisters. The reason of the choosing children’s literature on inclusion is that it is modern important literature, which demonstrates the world of children with disability and highlights such serious topics as decease and death. Its aim is to show that variety makes world wonderful and grate. The introduction of holographic design of vita technologies (calligarm, creative games, the pyramid of hero and author) is considered as well, the application of methods of critical thinking (mind-mapping, swot-analysis, six hats, Bloom’s taxonomy) in the analysis of fiction is substantiated. Potential online resources helping work with literature are examined. In addition, the possibilities of online resources (rebus, comics’ generator, the creating of mind maps, crosswords on different platforms) are determined as important part of the work with text. It has proved that such innovate approaches help to develop creative potential of students, allows analyzing literary text in a new way. Such approaches will be helpful in professional activity of teachers in primary school.

The main purpose of the research is to determine the role of innovation of agrarian enterprises for their effective management, as well as analysis of the internal and external environment of innovation activity of agrarian enterprises, their threats and opportunities with the help of SWOT-analysis. The systematization of literary sources and approaches to innovative activity of agrarian enterprises made it possible to generalize that the fundamental questions related to the interpretation of the essence of innovations, innovation activity and innovative processes of enterprises, with the specifics of their manifestation in agrarian enterprises, were investigated by domestic and foreign scientists as well as regulated by normative- legal acts. The urgency of solving this scientific problem lies in the fact that the determining factor of the efficiency of economic activity of the enterprise is their innovative development, which is based on the introduction and implementation of innovations, which determine the improvement of its activities, affect the strengthening of its market positions and produce suitable conditions for its development. One of the promising areas for innovations is the agrarian sector. Introduction of innovations in practice in all spheres of agrarian enterprises contributes to: the increase of labor productivity, decrease of expenses and cost of production, saving of various kinds of resources, increase of volumes and improvement of efficiency of agrarian production. The article analyzes the main directions of IT innovations in agrarian business, innovative solutions (products) and opportunities. It is determined, that any agrarian enterprise has its own peculiarities and specificity and requires individual innovative solutions. The management of the company often can easily identify, what is needed to increase the efficiency. And sometimes the services of analysts and IT consultants, who are professionals of their business, and can unmistakably determine the individual needs and decisions, can be useful. The peculiarities of formation and development of innovation process in agriculture were analyzed. A SWOT analysis of innovative activity of agrarian enterprises was conducted, which allowed to identify their strengths (weaknesses) sides, opportunities and threats. The results of the research can be useful for scientists, specialists and heads of agrarian enterprises, teachers of higher educational establishments, postgraduates, students and all those, who are interested in problems of development and efficiency of innovation activity.

Actuality of the research topic: development and implementation of technological innovations related to digital financial assets will improve the efficiency of banking products and services, and will contribute to the economic growth of any state, providing faster payments, the ability to process and store a large amount of data, the ability to manage identification, attracting resources for investment activities and improving the level of efficiency of all business entities. Problem statement: the formation of scientific and methodological tools for assessing the development of digital financial assets is a relatively new area of world and Belarusian applied science. The problems associated with the system analysis of the development of digital financial assets are currently not sufficiently developed. The purpose of the research: to study the essence, identify global trends and assess the factors of development of digital financial assets in the Republic of Belarus to determine the prospects for its development. Methods of the research: generalization, systematization, classification, SWOT-analysis. The results of the research: the author's definition of the term «digital financial assets» is given and the classification is proposed, trends and factors of development of one of the most innovative digital financial assets – cryptocurrency – are identified, a SWOT-analysis of the development of cryptocurrencies in Belarus is conducted and priority directions of its development are defined. The article is directed at exploring the technology of conducting SWOT-analysis in agricultural enterprise in order to ensure its economic security. SWOT-analysis is of particular importance. SWOT - analysis is a tool of strategic management which can used in the conditions of aggravation of competition, violation of financial stability, uncertainty in the market. The general aim of the article is investigate and identifyy the internal and external outsiders of the agricultural enterprise via SWOT-analysis to ensure its effective management. The research used general scientific methods, systematic and complex analysis. The article states that the assessment of the level of economic security of agrarian enterprise is formed in the context of such basic functional components, such as: financial, innovative, personnel, technical and technological. Each of these components is evaluated by a system of qualitative and quantitative components, which include an integrated assessment of the level of economic security with the study of their important indicators. Algorithm for conducting a SWOT-analysis for agrarian enterprise is proposed, which consists such steps: 1) identification of important factors that influence on the enterprise activity; 2) identifying the enterprise’s opportunities and threats; 3) grouping of opportunities and threats by certain interconnection; 4) building a complex matrix and formulating a strategy. It is established that the application of this strategic management tool allows to identify timely along with the company's strengths and opportunities existing threats and weaknesses, to build an effective strategy of the enterprise activity and at the expense of the strengths and opportunities of the enterprise to retain its share in the market, improve financial position, achieve benefits in front of competitors, increase production volumes.

In this paper the different analytical methods of strategic management were summarized as one analytical stage of the whole strategy formation process. The best practice of managers which was described in different research was reviewed and developed in terms to get more quick and suitable management tools for small and medium sized consulting companies. SWOT-analysis was used to estimate basic quality factors, which influence on the company. EFAS, IFAS, SFAS methods were used and supplemented by adding the reference data for consulting companies. Visualization with using a bubble chart was proposed for EFAS, IFAS, SFAS results interpretation with the possibility of considering company’s dynamic changes. The stakeholders’ analysis was proposed to use as a part of analytical stage of development strategy formation process for consulting companies. This type of analysis was improved by using the 5-scored scale estimation as a risk-management tool. That would help to build a stakeholders’ map for further visualization. As a result, the level of strategy objectiveness will be increased, total spent time will be decreased and the strong analytical background for further strategy formation process will be achieved.

This article addresses the experiences of Finnish frontline social workers during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020. Two questions are addressed. First, 'what types of challenges social work professionals faced' in their everyday, 'glocal' pandemic setting and, second, what types of solutions they developed to meet these challenges. The data consist of 33 personal diaries that social work professionals created from mid-March to the end of May 2020. The diaries are analysed by a thematic content analysis and placed within the framework of a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats analysis. The results suggest that the pandemic challenged social work at all levels, from face-to-face interactions to its global relations. The pandemic revealed not only the number of existing problems of social work, but also created new types of challenges. It demanded ultimate resilience from social workers and a new type of adaptive governance from social welfare institutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The views of scholars concerning the definition of «international financial center», which makes it possible to formulate the definition of international financial center essence are summarized in this paper. The factors influencing the formation of international financial center including: stable financial system, stable currency, exchange rate stability, political and social stability in the country, favorable geographical location, developed financial infrastructure, open economy for free movement of capital, etc. are identified. The role of international financial centers in increasing their global competitiveness, achieving higher levels of economic growth, prosperity and social progress is substantiated. The classification of international financial centers is investigated. The place of the Hong Kong Financial Center in the financial architecture of the world is determined. The main parameters of the current state of the Hong Kong Financial Center: the USD / HKD exchange rate, the effective exchange rate index weighted by trade, the Hang Seng index, market capitalization, etc. are diagnosed. SWOT-analysis of the Hong Kong Financial Centre is carried out in order to identify its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Based on the results of the problem of its functioning, a set of measures to improve competitiveness is also proposed. Hong Kong has favorable macroeconomic and institutional environment, qualified personnel, and is the fifth most competitive international financial center in the world. However, there is a low degree of international element in the domestic stock market, there is also risk of losing the status of «international financial center», other regional economies that have greater access to international investment opportunities in the stock market, such as Singapore, may be a threat. The financial center should focus on overcoming the effects of the coronavirus, promote the share of foreign investment in the economy, take a set of measures to overcome the country's recession, review legal, regulatory and tax requirements to promote development, improve quality of life and attractiveness, and become Asia's leading currency hub. The current stage of economic development is characterized by an increasing interest in the study of strategic planning and management. One important direction of this theory is to study the theoretical and methodological foundations of planning both in the broadest sense and in the narrower ones. The current stage of development of the world economy is characterized by a rapid change of external impacts on the enterprise, which places high demands on its management system, which should adequately respond to the challenges of time. In this regard, the role of strategic planning, which defines the main directions of the enterprise in the future, is significantly increasing. The article outlines existing approaches to strategic planning as well as factors influencing the process. The author studied the interpretations of the term "strategic planning" available in the scientific literature, its wording is given taking into account modern trends. The concepts of "strategic analysis" and "strategic forecast" are also considered, on the basis of which the strategic plan of the enterprise is formed. A brief analysis of existing planning methodologies is carried out with a view to developing a strategic plan. Conclusions were drawn on the need to choose the best methodological approach and economic tools for strategic planning.

Non-state pension funds play an important role in the development of the economy. The development of the system of non-state pension provision, which includes non-state pension funds, complies with the main aspects of the Ukraine – 2020 Sustainable Development Strategy. The importance of selecting investment areas for non-state pension funds results in the need to further explore and find ways to improve the investment process. The purpose of the article is to develop theoretical and methodological aspects of investing assets of non-state pension funds in bonds. The study object is the investment activity of non-state pension funds. The following methods are used: vertical and horizontal analysis, SWOT analysis, regression analysis, graphical and tabular methods. It is determined that effective investment of non-state pension funds’ assets provides an increase in the value of assets, which in turn enables participants of non-state pension funds to enhance the quality of life. Involving non-state pension funds in the stock market and their interaction with other entities in this market are illustrated by the investment in bonds example. The market of bonds in Ukraine for 2013-2017 has been analyzed and the tendency towards development has been determined. The possibilities and threats of investment of non-state pension funds’ assets in bonds are substantiated. The approach to determining the impact of factors on the government bond yields, in particular, bonds of domestic state loans and bonds of enterprises has been further developed. This approach, unlike the existing ones, provides for the use of regression analysis and takes into account changes in the environment according to factors (consumer price index and household income for government bonds, the number of enterprises and the discount rate of the National Bank of Ukraine for bonds of enterprises). That is of practical importance and will make it possible to improve the investment strategy of non-state pension fund assets in bonds

An important condition for the harmonious functioning and development of a region or microregion is the use of a local forecasting and planning system in the decision-making process. The authors of the article on the example of the activities of local governments of the Subcarpathian province (Poland) show that the system allows you to avoid many controversial, multidirectional actions and concentrate efforts and resources on the implementation of strategic goals. It is emphasized that the process of local forecasting and planning should be creative, conceptual. Because of this, it allows you to actively shape the reality of the community in the economic, social, infrastructural, environmental and spatial dimensions. The article analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the region, as well as opportunities and threats to its development in the near future. It is emphasized that decisions of local governments at all its levels are discussed and agreed with the population, which is directly interested in fulfilling its expectations and needs. It is shown that during the discussions, special attention is paid to the role of the inhabitants of the region and their entrepreneurial activity, which can be an impetus for the development of this economic space. The final part of the article presents potential directions of economic development of the Subcarpathian region on the basis of the vision of the development of Subcarpathian voivodeship up to 2020, formulated in the relevant documents. The vision of the development of Subcarpathian voivodeship is based on the prospects for the future in this underdeveloped region, which is the goal of the development policy of territorial self-government in the region. According to the concept of the “Development Strategy of the Subcarpathian region until 2020”, province will become an area of sustainable economic development, based on the effective use of internal potential and cross-border location, ensuring a high quality of life for the population. It is assumed that the implementation of this vision will help to reduce the development gap compared with the more developed regions of the country and the voivodship will be the development leader among the provinces of Eastern Poland. The authors stipulate that in the present conditions of a global world it is very difficult to accurately predict possible scenarios of strategic development, since many macroeconomic factors can effectively weaken and even completely eliminate the effects of actions taken. Therefore, the authors are very cautious in determining the final results of the planned strategies.

The relevance of the study is due to the requirements for accounting for the competitiveness of Mi helicopters on the African continent. In this regard, this article is aimed at disclosing the competitiveness assessment of JSC Russian Helicopters as a supplier of multi-purpose Mi helicopters to the African continent. The leading method to investigate this problem is the SWOT analysis method, which allows to consider comprehensively the competitive advantages of the product in the context of its functional significance and uniqueness. The article presents the research results, reveals the potential for the promotion of Mi helicopters to the African market, identifies the advantages and disadvantages of Russian helicopter technology, and proves the relevance of the task posed in the article. The materials of the article are of practical value for a wide range of marketers and managers of helicopter construction enterprises.

Abstract. The research is devoted to the problem of formation of high-protein feeds market for farm animals in Ukraine in conditions of European integration processes. The problem of providing the population with high quality food is becoming more global, the demand for high protein food products of a good quality is growing as well as the need for protein-balanced feeds for livestock. The dynamics of high-protein feed production in Ukraine and EU countries has been studied. The tendencies of the high-protein feeds market formation in Ukraine are considered. By means of benchmarking, price trends in the protein feed market in the EU and Ukraine have been analyzed. Ukraine has favorable soil and climatic conditions for the production of quality, safe products as well as efficient logistic routes available. As a result of the study it was found that the key factor for Ukraine’s penetration into the EU feed market is the need for high-protein feeds. The directions of solving the problem of feed protein deficiency for the needs of animal husbandry are determined. Environmental problems regarding feed quality and safety in the context of Ukraine’s aspirations for European integration are substantiated. The legislative basis for ensuring the quality and safety of feed and feed resources is considered. As a result of SWOT-analysis of vegetable protein production in Ukraine, it was found that Ukraine has significant potential for the production of competitive feed protein that meets domestic needs, form high export potential and promote entry into European and Asian markets. It is emphasized that the process of Ukraine’s European integration requires constant marketing research of the sectoral situation changes with account of the specific features of domestic production of high-protein feeds, highlighting key factors of Ukraine’s presence and its potentialities in the EU agricultural market and outlining the prospects for its development. Increase in the performance of farm animals and margins of livestock production requires balanced diets and reduction of feed cost in the costs structure due to the use of high protein feeds. It is important for Ukraine to promote the development of the market for high-protein and bulk feeds on the industrial basis as well as the development of organic feed and livestock production. Development of the competitive feed market in Ukraine and solving of the environmental and social problems of intensive animal husbandry requires the improvement of legislation to meet the requirements of EU Directives on the production, processing and efficient use of feed resources. The article presents the results of the empirical analysis of the system of training future heads of educational institutions under the master's educational program, which showed that quality management of future leaders depends on setting standards, updating educational programs, highly qualified staff, quality organization of the educational process and effective management. The study empirically confirms and theoretically proves that it is very important for a higher education institution to really see the levers that it can manage - internal resources, as well as to understand the factors that are outside the sphere of influence – external threats. Background: In low- and middle-income countries like Bangladesh, where medical education faces a range of challenges-such as lack of infrastructure, well-trained educators, and advanced technologies, abrupt changes in methodologies without adequate preparation are more challenging than in higher-income countries. This was worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic and these challenges have resulted in a change in medical education methodology. This study assesses the medical education procedure, impacts and adaptation strategies and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in the medical education system of Bangladesh from learners' as well as educators' perspectives., Methods: The study collected data from 22 Medical Colleges/Universities across 18 districts of eight divisions using quantitative and qualitative methods. A total of 408 samples were collected consisting of 316 from students and 92 from medical teachers. Descriptive analysis and probit model were performed for obtaining results., Results: The efficacy of online learning was questionable, but results showed that it was more effective for theory classes (92.4%) followed by clinical classes (75.63%) and the efficacy rate was low for practical classes (54.11%). All types of classes (theory, practical and clinical) are currently using mixed methods to some extent in medical education in Bangladesh. Regarding impacts and adaptation strategy, approximately 75.3% of the students surveyed expressed their acceptance of online education. Over 80% of the participants acknowledged the advantages of online learning, highlighting the freedom to learn from home, cost and time savings, and avoiding physical closeness with other students as major benefits., Conclusions: To address future challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic in medical education in Bangladesh, a comprehensive policy approach such as strengthening technological infrastructure, promoting blended learning approaches, enhancing faculty training and support, integrating telemedicine into the curriculum, and continuously evaluating and improving policies and interventions can enhance the resilience of its medical education system, and prepare for future challenges., Competing Interests: No competing interests were disclosed., (Copyright: © 2024 Rahman MW et al.)

The article is aimed at studying the approaches to defining the concept of «diagnostics of financial security of enterprise», its goals and objectives; substantiating the relevance of using the situational analysis methods for diagnostics of level of financial security of enterprise in conditions of constant change of factors of external and internal environment in terms of the enterprise’s functioning. An interpretation of the concept of «diagnostics of financial security of enterprise» is suggested. The purpose of diagnostics of financial security of enterprise, also its tasks and principles of implementation are defined. Relevance of application of methods of analysis of internal and external environment of organization (methods of situational Analysis: SWOT-Analysis, SNW-analysis, PEST-analysis) for the purposes of diagnostics of financial security of enterprise is substantiated. It is concluded that situational analysis allows to see a picture of the real situation at enterprise; identifies current problems and crises that threaten its development together with the opportunities, using of which would lead to a positive outcome; is a reliable basis for development of measures of protection of business entity from the identified threats.

The essence and structure of the public catering system of Ukraine are disclosed, a study on the essence of the conceptual-categorical apparatus is carried out. The statistical approach to accounting the activities of public catering facilities and its evolution are reflected. A system of indicators of activity analysis including indicators of process and result is proposed. The dynamics of quantitative and structural changes in the network of public catering facilities are analyzed and prospects of their development are planned. The dynamics of the market of public catering services and capital investments are estimated. The current peculiarities of functioning of the public catering system connected with reduction and insufficiency of the network of facilities and low market share are defined and characterized. The prospective trends of development of the Ukrainian public catering system are described using the elements of SWOT-analysis.
